The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter Five

“Twilight, Twilight!” Spike shouted.

“What is it?” Twilight asked concerned.

“You got a letter from Princess Celestia!”

“Oh okay do you mind reading it Spike?” Twilight asked.

“Ahem”

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

Unfortunately, I wish the circumstances were better however I need you and your friends to come to Canterlote immediately, I'll explain when we’re at Princess Luna’s and I’s castle. Please be quick this is urgent regarding the fate of the Equestria, I have already sent a letter to Shinning Armour and Princess Cadence. Also, please bring the elements of harmony, they may prove useful in this situation.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna

After the nine friends had packed everything and had landed at Canterlote’s train station they met Shinning Armour, a white unicorn with a blue mane and tail who has blue eyes and a purple shield with the same star that Twilight has as her cutie mark. There was also Princess Cadence, a light pink alicorn with a purple, pink and white mane and tail who has magenta eyes and a blue heart as her cutie mark.

“Cadence, Shinning Armour how have you been and how’s Flurry Heart?” Twilight asked.

“We’ve been good but for now we should head to the castle.” Shinning Armour said.

“Your right, okay everypony lets go.” Twilight said.

The eleven of them headed to the castle.

“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna we are here!” Shinning Armour announced when they reached the thrown room.

“Princess what’s going on?” Twilight asked.

With a heavy sigh Princess Celestia explained, “our brother, Prince Nebula or as he likes to call himself The Emperor of Dark Matter has escaped his imprisonment."

“Wait you have a brother and why was he imprisoned and how come you never told us?” Twilight asked.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna nodded.

“Well you see we’re not sure how he turned evil however he had started controlling and enslaving the ponies of Equestria. The reason why we never told any of you is because it was a very sore subject, we are quite sorry for not telling you and for coming on such short notice.” Princess Celestia said.

“I-I’m so sorry.” Twilight said.

“Don’t be.”

“So what can you tell us about Prince Nebula?” Minra asked.

“Well he’s an alicorn like us, he has the ability to create Nebulae and control them as well as control pony’s minds, when Luna and I defeated him we imprisoned him in Tartar-us it was before we fought Discord but after the Six Pillars had disappeared.” Princess Celestia explained.

Just as when Princess Celestia had finished he sentence there was a loud explosion and at that exact time part of the wall burst open causing debre and dust to fly everywhere. Shinning Armour had formed a protective shield around all of them.

“He’s here!” Luna shouted.

“Hello Sisters, it’s been so long, how have you been?” A mysteries voice called from the dust.

Once the dust settled a dark gray alicorn with red stripes here and there with a dark red, and black mane and tail that has some purple on the tail with a black helmet, red eyes, he had a large grin with his fangs showing and a nebula cloud as his cutie mark.

“Oh and I see you’ve brought guests, how thoughtful. I shall turn them into my slaves!” The alicorn shouted as he shot a magic bolt at the group.

The only one to be effected by the shot was Shinning Armour who immediately went still and his eyes turned a dull red.

“How interesting my spell only seemed to effect only one of you”

“How may I sever you master?” The mind controlled Shinning Armour asked,

Everyone turned to look at Shinning Armour in realization, when about twenty royal guards came in to the room after hearing the blast.

“Oh more ponies coming to join the party? How grand.” Prince Nebula said as he shot another magic bolt but this time at the guards.

“How may we serve you master?” The guards asked in unison.

“Yes, you may...seize them!” Prince Nebula shouted as he pointed to the group but before they could be captured Twilight teleported the group back to Ponyville.

“Aw they left, oh well I’ll get them soon.” Prince Nebula said as he flew outside and shot a Magic bolt down at the population of Canterlot.

“Your will is our command.” Everypony in Canterlot said in unison.

“Good this is turning out better then I expected, next stop The Crystal Empire.” Ptince Nebula thought to himself.

Meanwhile in Ponyville all the residents gathered around in sight of the eleven ponies.

“Thanks for saving us Twilight.” Princess Cadence said.

“What do we do now?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“I have to return to the Crystal Empire, and warn everypony there.” Princess Cadence said.

“Oh and Cadence this is Minra the seventh element of harmony, Minra this is Princess Cadence, my former foal-sitter and my sister in law.” Twilight said.

Princess Cadence had a surprised look on her face but then noticed the greed dragon gem element on Minra.

“Nice to meet you though I wish the circumstance was better.” Princess Cadence said.

“Like wise.” Minra responded.

“Somepony should go with you Cadence.” Princess Celestia said.

“I’ll go with her.” Minra volunteered.

“M-me too.” Fluttershy said raising her hoof.

“Thank you Minra and Fluttershy, Spike you should come with us as well.” Princess Cadence suggested.

“Why?” Minra asked.

“It’s because Spike can send letters by breathing fire on them in the direction of the destination he wants it to go.” Twilight explained.

Princess Cadence, Spike, Fluttershy and Minra headed to The Crystal Empire however when they got there they found that it was already to late and just about everypony had been put under Prince Nebula’s mind control magic except for two ponies, a cherry blossom pink alicorn filly who has a blue diaper, lavender and blue mane and tail with blue eyes named Flurry Heart and an a light orange unicorn who has a white spot on his face and mostly white legs, a reddish orange mane and tail who wears glasses, and a blue cape with blue stars on it and has an orange goatee unicorn named Sunburst, he has a sunburst as his cutie mark.

“Sunburst what happened here?” Princess Cadence asked.

“Well Flurry Heart and I were waiting for you and Shinning Armour in the castle when I heard an explosion outside and when I looked there was a dark gray alicorn with dark red markings shooting some sort of magic at the citizens when he noticed us and well long story short Flurry Heart and I are the only ones who survived.” Sunburst explained as Princess Cadence picked up a crying Flurry Heart who hugged her in fright.

“Shh it’s okay mama is here, Spike tell Princess Celestia what the situation is and in the mean time we should head back to Ponyville.” Princess Cadence said as Prince Nebula stepped in front of them.

“Going somewhere?” Prince Nebula said mockingly.

“The five of you run I’ll hold him off!” Minra said as he transformed and shot a ball of blue fire at Nebula.

“Like a cheap trick like that will stop me!” Prince Nebula said as he shot a magic bolt of his own at the fire ball causing a cloud of smoke to appear and once the smoke dispersed the six ponies were gone.

“Who was that?” Sunburst said out of breath.

“That’s Prince Nebula, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna’s younger brother, they had to imprison him in Tartar-us because he brainwashed the ponies of Equestria.” Princess Cadence explained.

“Then how come I’ve never read of him in any books?” Sunburst asked.

“It’s a sore subject.” Minra added.

The six ponies were soon back in Ponyville where they were met with The ponies who stayed behind.

“Cadence, I got your letter I’m so sorry but I’m glad Flurry Heart and Sunburst are okay.” Twilight said hugging her sister in law.

Cadence hugged back when Starlight and Sunburst hugged each other.

“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Cadence, and Sunburst you can stay in my castle if you want.” Twilight said.

“Thank you we will Princess.” Celestia said.

“Minra was it? Thank you for saving us.” Princess Cadence told Minra.

Realizing that he was still in his dragon form Minra reverted back into his base form.

“Incredible, I’ve never read anything about your powers before Minra but I do have one question, what’s that on your chest?” Sunburst asked.

“Oh this it’s my element of harmony.” Minra said pointing to his chest.

“Wait there’s seven now?” Sunburst said amazed.

“Yea, but there’s even more wonders I would like to tell you but we should stray focus on how to defeat Prince Nebula.” Applejack said.

“Well we should make a plan first.” Twilight said.

“But how are we gonna stop him if we don’t know which town Prince Nebula is gonna go to next?” Spike asked.

“Well it seems like he’s going after the cities that have the most ponies in them, so it would be safe to assume the place Prince Nebula would be targeting next is Manehattan.”

“But then how come he didn’t come to Ponyville first?” Rarity asked.

“I think he might attack us last and when he does he would have conquered all of Equestria.” Minra said.

“If that’s the case then we will have to warn the rest of Equestria!” Princess Celestia said.

“Rainbow Dash do you think you can fly around Equestria dropping off warnings?” Princess Luna asked.

“Can do!” Rainbow Dash said raising a hoof to her forehead.

“Great, Twilight and I will wright the letters.” Princess Celestia said.

“Princess Luna I’m gonna need your help?” Minra asked.

“But of coarse what do you need me to do?” Princess Luna asked.

“I need you to get the residents of Ponyville’s attention.”

“We shall help by using our Royal Canterlot Voice.” Luna said.

“Fluttershy do you think you can ask your animal friends to help with finding where Prince Nebula is heading to?” Princess Cadence asked.

“I can certainly try.” Fluttershy said.

Minra and Princess Luna went out onto Twilight’s porch.

“Ponies of Ponyville we need thou attention!” Princess Luna shouted in her royal Canterlot voice.

“An evil alicorn is coming with an army of mind controlled ponies and wants to take over Equestria we urge you to stay inside and lock you doors and windows until we say it’s safe to come out.” Minra said.

Ponies did as they were instructed when Rainbow Dash flew off with a saddlebag on her and doing so at such speed that she cause a Sonic Rain-boom and soon after leaving she comeback saying that they where wrong, he’s heading straight for Ponyville.

“Everypony looks like we’re gonna have to fight.” Princess Celestia said.

“Spike can you watch Flurry Heart?” Princess Cadence asked as she hugged Flurry Heart.

“Don’t worry Flurry Heart your uncle Spike will protect you while Mama’s out.” Princess Cadence said.

“Sunshine protect them as well.” Minra told his loyal dog.

The twelve ponies headed to the outskirts of the town where leading the army was two ponies, Prince Nebula, and Shinning Armour. Minra flared into his dragon form. Magic blasts started being shot from the army as pegasi flew about Ponyville. Minra let out a heap of flame in a line in hopes it’ll at least slow the advancing army down, however the wall of blue flickering flame didn’t stop Prince Nebula who jumped over the flames in front of the twelve.

“Now!” Starlight called as the seven elements of harmony flashed and let out a rainbow that formed into a multicolored transparent dragon that left a rainbow trail flew into Prince Nebula and then out leaving with some sort of dark cloud in it’s mouth then the dragon flew through the Nebula’s army and leaving them with a larger dark cloud in it’s mouth. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence used their magic to open a portal that the dragon flew into, bringing the dark cloud with it.

What was left was a group of ponies Crystal and non Crystal alike and in front of the former army were three ponies on the ground, Shinning Armour, the aforementioned orange pegasis and a cherry red alicorn who’s cherry red fur faded into a light blue blue, the alicorn has a silver colored crown and a silver color the wings were red but faded into a light magenta with some light blue feathers inside, the alicorn had a dark gray and sand red mane and tail with sand red eyes. The one detail that allowed the seven to know who the alicorn was is a nebula cutie mark. Princess Luna and Princess Celestia rushed over to Prince Nebula. Princess Cadence flew over to Shinning Armour.

“Brother are you all right?” Princess Luna asked.

“Luna, Celestia is that you, I’ve missed you two so much?” Prince Nebula asked as he hugged his sisters.

“We missed you as well Nebula.” Princess Celestia said crying.

“Shinning are you alright?” Princess Cadence asked her husband.

Holding his head Shinning Armour groaned and said. “What happened, my head felt like it got hit by several of Flurry Heart’s magic bolts.”

“Also what are we doing in Ponyville?” Shinning Armour asked.

“It’s a long story, but for now you should rest.” Princess Cadence said while holding Shinning Armour.

“So Nebula how did you turn evil?” Princess Celestia asked her brother.

“Well one night I was stargazing when an asteroid crashed near me, I did the dumbest thing ever and went to investigate the strange space rock when some sort of black cloud oozed from the rock and latched it’s self on to me turning me into…well you know the rest.” Prince Nebula explained.

“Oh okay but why were you stargazing, without any guards nearby?” Princess Celestia asked.

“I snuck out, it gets tiring being royalty, like I don’t think I’ve ever had a break from my royal duties.” Prince Nebula said lowering his head.

“Believe us Nebula we know what it’s like and no I’m not mad I’m just happy everything is over and that we have our little brother back, there’s so much stuff we have to catch you up on.” Princess Celestia said.

“Everyone I want to apologize for what I did, I’m so ashamed I hope you can forgive me.” Prince Nebula said while digging at the ground.

The ponies nodded their head.

“And I want to thank the twelve of you, cause if it weren’t for you then I would still be under the control of that cloud.”

“Don’t mention it, we’re just glad you’re back.” Minra said.

After everypony went back to their homes Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna threw a celebration for the return of their baby brother.

“Nebula this is your adopted niece, Princess Cadence, her husband Shinning Armour, her sister in law Princess Twilight Sparkle and her daughter Princess Flurry Heart.” Princess Celestia said as she introduced her and Luna’s brother.

“Wait there are five princesses now?” Prince Nebula asked.

“Yea there’s your niece Princess Cadence who’s in charge of all the love in Equestria, then there’s Princess Twilight Sparkle who’s in charge of all the friendship in Equestria, she even has her own school of friendship and finally Flurry Heart who was born an alicorn.” Princess Celestia said.

“Wait born an alicorn, how is that possible?” Prince Nebula Questioned.

“Well we don’t have a clue either.” Twilight responded.

Minra had asked Fluttershy if she wanted to dance.

“I-I would love to.” Fluttershy said taking Minra’s hoof.

The two Ponies danced as Twilight was playing with her Niece.

“Sister I’m glad everything turned out alright.” Princess Luna told her sister.

“As am I.”

After a while Minra and Fluttershy decided it was time to have their first kiss. The two ponies could feel each-other's warm breath on their lips as they leaned in. The party soon ended and all the ponies who attended either went home or went to their guest rooms to sleep except Minra who was out stargazing in the castle’s garden when Fluttershy came and asked if she could sit with him, after responding with a yes Fluttershy soon leaned her head on his lap while Minra stroked her mane.

“Hey Minra?” Fluttershy asked.

“What’s up?” Minra responded.

“Do you ever miss being back in your home world?” Fluttershy asked.

“No not really.” Minra responded.

“Really but what about your family, your friends?” Fluttershy asked.

Minra’s expression grew dull, as he told her that he didn’t have any, because his parents abused him and because of that he became antisocial, never trusting anyone, an outcast at his school until his parents were arrsted and he was able to get a place of his own where after a couple of years he gut transported to Equestria. Fluttershy sat up and immediately hugged Minra.

“That’s in your past, you have friends now, possibly even a family, now just focus on the future.” Fluttershy said while crying.

Minra hugged her close while tears were falling down his cheek.

“I know and I wouldn’t trade it for anything especially since I have you.” Minra said.

The two ponies soon fell asleep in each-other's arms in the castle’s garden. Princess Luna saw the two but instead of waking them she simply put a blanket on the two ponies.
