The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter Nine

It was a quiet afternoon, Minra was alone in his room while Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity and Starlight were off visiting the Crystal Empire, meanwhile Minra was just laying his bed bored completely out of his mind.

“Sunshine, I’m so bored right now that I think I broke the record for the most bored pony in all of Equestria.” Minra told his dog that was fast asleep. There was a knock from his door.

“Hey Minra?” Spike asked.

“What is it?” Minra said getting out of his bed and opening his door.

“Well Discord, Big Mac and I were gonna play Ogres and Oubliettes, do you wanna join us?” Spike asked.

“Sure but I have one question what’s Ogres and Oubliettes?” Minra asked.

“Come on I’ll tell you on the way to the table room.” Spike said.

Spike explained the premise of the game as they headed to the table room.

“And that’s how it works, so you wanna join?” Spike explained.

“Of coarse!” Minra said excitedly.

“Good.” Spike said as the two entered the table room.

“Heya guys sorry for keeping you waiting, I hope you don’t mind if Minra plays with us?” Spike asked.

“Nope.” Big Macintosh said, he was a red stallion who had freckles, a light orange mane and tail green eyes and a sliced apple for his cutie mark Big Mac also wears a horse collar.

“Not a problem, so what’s your class?” Discord asked.

“My class is ranger.” Minra said.

“Okay, what else like what’s your name? Spike asked.

“Oh it’s Raku.” Minra replied.

“Okay, and what’s your companion?” Spike asked.

“It’s a hawk named Stein.” Minra said.

“Okay and one more thing Discord here likes to well make the games realistic.” Spike said.

“Eeyup.” Big Mac replied.

“Realistic how?” Minra asked a bit scared.

“You’ll see soon enough.” Spike said as he motioned to Discord while Minra gave out a small but still noticeable gulp.

With a snap of his fingers the interior of the castle changed to the world of Ogres and Oubliettes, with Minra in a cloak and camouflage clothing with a hawk next to him, Discord was in some sort of archer outfit that looks fairly similar to particular movie elf, Big Mac is in some armor with a horned helmet and a sword and shield, Spike was in some sort of wizard outfit with a scepter of some kind. Minra had a shocked look on his face and was freaking out a bit.

“Relax Minra, this is just a game you won’t actually get hurt.” Spike said.

“Eeyup.” Big Mac chimed in.

“Oh okay so what now?” Minra asked.

“Well our quest is to save a Princess named Princess Shmarity from the evil Squizard and his skeletal army.” Spike explained.

“Yea yea now can we get on with it?” Discord said.

“Okay after you.” Minra said.

The group traveled for a bit when they were ambushed by a group of skeletal ponies.

“Wait where’s Minra?” Spike asked.

“I think he might of ditched us.” Discord replied.

“Eeyup.” Big Mac said as they tried to fend off the army but was soon surrounded. The skeletons drew closer until three balls of smoke came from a tree and burst causing a smoke cloud to form, the next thing the three knew there were sounds of skeletons being dispatched and screeches. The smoke cleared to see Minra and Stein standing among the remains of the skeletons.

“What you actually thought I would ditch you?” Minra said chuckling.

“Well yea, besides where were you?” Spike asked.

“I was in the tree, because you know I’m a ranger and we do like being in high places.” Minra said.

The group traveled across the land, doing side quests.

“Oh thank goodness adventurers please you need to help, we were travailing when we were attacked by a tall slender pony type creature, it took my son, can you please help us?” One of NPCs asked but it was more like begging.

“Sure, where did this creature go?” Spike asked.

“I-it went that away.” The NPC pointed in the direction of a forest.

“Of coarse it did.” Discord said.

“Eeyup.”

“Stein I need you to be our eyes in the sky.” Minra told his bird as it flew off.

“Come on what are we waiting for?” Spike asked as the four of them charged into the forest with Minra taking to the trees and Stein searching the skies.

The group traveled in the same direction until Stein flew down to Minra.

“Did you find something?” Minra asked as Stein nodded.

“Good take us there.” Minra said as Stein flew to the direction where it found something with the three ponies and Discord in hot pursuit.

The four of them reached a clearing where they saw the tall slender creature holding the colt by a leg in the air with one of it’s tentacles. It was a pale white with no determinable facial features or mane or tail for that matter except for the four tentacles jutting out from it’s back with the colt in one of them and a grinning mouth that was full of sharp teeth and was drooling.

“What are we gonna do?” Spike asked.

“I’ll distract it, when I do I need you to chop that tentacle off, Spike you catch the colt and Discord keep the creature at a distance.” Minra said as the others nodded.

Minra rushed to behind the creature and shouted “Hey Ugly over here!”

The monster turned it’s head and growled at Minra when Big Mac charged out of the bush and chopped the tentacle off, then Spike caught the boy. It let out an ear piercing screech it then turned it’s attention to Big Mac and shot it’s tentacles at him but they were blocked by his shield. Discord shot arrows at it and with a final blow Minra stabbed it in the head with a dagger. The creature fell down with a thud. It was dead they had won, the four adventures escorted the colt back to his parent. The NPC gave the party a hundred twenty gold each. The group traveled more and came across all sorts of enemies until they fought and defeated one of the Squizard’s generals. After defeating it the four looted the body.

“Okay I think we should call it for today.” Spike told Discord.

“Very well.” Discord said as he flicked his fingers and sent themselves back to real life.

“Good idea, besides I’m going to the lake to try and transform into that big version of my dragon pony form.” Minra said.

“Okay see you later.” Spike said while waving at Minra.

“Well I don’t know about you two but I need a nap.” Discord said as he popped out of existence.

“So Big Mac got any plans?” Spike asked as he packed the game up.

“Nope.” Big Mac said shaking his head.

Minra trotted, to the lake to try to transform into his bigger dragon pony form. Once there he transformed into his normal dragon pony form then focused so he can transform into his bigger dragon pony form that occurred during the Draugr battle. Realizing that it had not worked Minra sighed, and grunted. At that time he heard three fillies giggling and noticed that the giggles were coming closer and as not to scare them he reverted back to his earth pony form. When the three got close he realized it was the CMC crew

“Heya Minra what are you up to?” Sweetie Bell asked.

“Oh I was just trying something.” Minra replied.

“Oh really what was it?” Applebloom asked.

“It’s nothing important but anyway what do you three want?” Minra asked.

“Well would you please come with us?” Scootalo giggled.

“Uh sure?” Minra hesitated as he followed the three fillies all the way to the CMC club house and went inside.

“Okay so what is this about?” Minra asked.

“Oh you know it’s just…make over time!” Sweetie Bell said with a malicious look on her face as she levitated some make up supplies.

“Oh and we have a camera to take pictures of our master pieces.” Applebloom said holding up a camera.

“What do you m-mean masterpieces?” Minra asked a little frightened.

“Oh we’re gonna give you several makeovers.” The three fillies said in unison and then giggled.

“Oh and don’t bother trying to flee there’s three of us and one of you.” Applebloom said while cackling like a classic villain.

Sweetie Bell, Scootalo and Minra looked at Applebloom with a look that said really.

“Too much?” Applebloom asked.

Too much the rest of them said in unison.

“Anyway time to get cracking.” Sweetie Bell said.

The three fillies plastered makeup all over Minra’s face then took a picture. Minra was not amused at this because there was blush, lipstick, mascara, among other makeup stuff.

“Next we’re gonna turn you into a fairy tail Princess.” Sweetie Bell said giggling.

This went on for a while, with several pictures of him in makeup.

“Okay all done, you may go now.” Sweetie Bell said.

“Good.” Minra said while wiping the makeup of his face. He left the CMC club house while the three fillies waved at him.

Minra was walking down the streets of Ponyville wondering what to do as he was now bored again but now realized he was hungry because of being the CMC’s hostage and playing Ogres and Oubliettes so he trotted to an ice cream shop where he proceeded to by his favorite flavor of ice cream, chocolate strawberry. After finishing his frozen food he strolled through the town when he decided to draw. So Minra trotted down to Twilight’s castle and went into the table room where placed some paper, markers and other drawing utensils and started drawing. Minra was quietly drawing when a sand blue unicorn mare with a pastel blue mane and tail, lavender eyes, who wears a magician hat and cape with stars on them and has a crescent moon and magic wand burst in.

“Starlight it is I your friend Trixie I am here!” Trixie exclaimed.

“She’s not here.” Minra said while still drawing.

“Excuse me, who are you?” Trixie asked.

“I could ask the same about you.” Minra said still not looking up.

“I am the great and powerful Trixie, and you are?” Trixie said with emphasis on great and powerful.

“Sorry haven’t heard of you, name’s Minra.”

“What do you mean you haven't heard of me, why I’m the great and powerful Trixie, how have you not heard of me?” Trixie asked.

“I’ve only been living here for five months, this is the first time I’ve heard of you.” Minra said looking up from his paper to see Trixie with a shocked and frustrated look on her face.

“Oh really you’ve been living here in Ponyville for five months so you still must of heard of me?” Trixie asked.

“Nope and it’s not just Ponyville but this world.” Minra said.

“Huh Trixie doesn’t understand.”

“I’m not from this world, okay.” Minra said starting to get annoyed.

“Uh Trixie thinks you’re crazy but won’t say anything, so where’s Starlight?” Trixie asked.

“She's in the Crystal Empire with Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack.” Minra explained.

“So Trixie came here for nothing?” Trixie asked.

“I guess so, sorry.” Minra said as he shrugged.

“Fine, but maybe you can entertain me until she gets back.” Trixie said.

“Excuse me?” Minra said raising an eyebrow.

“Entertain me, the great and powerful Trixie wishes to be entertained.”

“Sorry I don’t want to and you might want to watch out for Sunshine.” Minra said.

“Who’s Sunshine?” Trixie asked.

“She’s my dog.” Minra replied.

“Is she aggressive?”

“Only if you consider pouncing on you and giving you an unusual amount of licks aggressive.” Minra said.

“Please how big is she, the size of a Chihuahua?” Trixie asked smirking.

“No, she’s half wolf, if that doesn’t tell you how big she is then I don’t know what will.” Minra replied.

“Yea right.”

“Fine.” Minra said as Sunshine pounced on Trixie and started licking her.

“Gahh Trixie demands you stop licking me you, you, hey Michael or what ever your name is can you get your dog off of me.” Trixie said.

“Fine, Sunshine come.” Minra said as Sunshine walked to him.

“Ugh how dare your mut cover Trixie in slobber.”

“Well I did warn you.” Minra said.

“Hmpf, besides what are you doing here?” Trixie asked.

“Drawing.” Minra replied.

“Well then, Trixie demands you draw Trixie.”

“No thank you, besides I’m already drawing something already.” Minra said returning to his drawings.

“What are you even drawing.” Trixie asked inquisitively.

“An archer.” Minra replied

”Well if you want to draw somepony that looks good, the great and powerful Trixie will be just outside the castle in her caravan.”

“Whatever.” Minra said as Trixie totted away but soon came back.

“Trixie wants to know why you don’t have a winter coat?”

“I don’t need it.” Minra replied.

There was a silence between the two but Minra continued to draw.

“What do you want Trixie?” Minra asked as he sighed.

“Trixie doesn’t have any bits and Trixie is hungry and Trixie was wondering if you would be willing to by her some food.” Trixie said with a nervous smile.

“Fine, let me put my stuff away then we can go.” Minra said as he packed his stuff and headed to his room and came back.

“What took you so long?”

“Do you want food or not?” Minra replied.

“Trixie is sorry, lets go.”

“Okay.” Minra said as the two of them headed to Ponyville’s store once their he asked her what she wanted.

“Trixie desires a salad, some cookies, and a bottle of water.”

“Okay, wait here.” Minra said as he walked into the store.

After getting the three items plus a candy bar Minra went to a checkout isle where the cashier told him that the total was seven bits he promptly paid for the food and left the store with bag in mouth and a hungry Trixie was waiting.

“What took you so long?” Trixie asked.

“There was a line.” Minra responded as he took a candy bar from the bag.

“Wait, Trixie has to repay you for this.”

“Don’t worry about it.” Minra said as he walked away.

“Hmpf.” Trixie said as she walked to a nearby table and proceeded to eat her lunch.

When Minra got home he got his drawing utensils and went back to the table room where he had been and started coloring his drawing while munching on his candy bar. Twilight and the others walked in to the table room to find Minra drawing.

“Heya Minra we’re back how’s everything?” Twilight asked.

“Well I played Ogres and Oubliettes with Spike, Discord, and Big Mac, and then I was held hostage by the CMC crew and finally Trixie came by.” Minra explained.

“Why did Trixie come over?” Starlight asked.

“She was looking for you, because she was hungry and she had no bits so I bought her some food.” Minra responded.

“And what do y'all mean being held hostage?” Applejack asked.

“Trust me you’ll know when the they show you the photos.” Minra said shuddering.

“What ever do you mean?” Rarity asked.

“They gave me make overs.” Minra said.

“Really that’s hilarious.” Rainbow Dash said as she burst out in laughter.

“I’m glad you and Discord are becoming such good friends.” Fluttershy chimed in.

“Wait did you say makeup?” Rarity asked.

“Yea why?” Minra responded with a question of his own.

“Sweetie Bell!” Rarity shouted.
