Starfleet Season 2 (Rewrite)

One morning, Professor Brain was scanning Sapphire’s magic with his magic scanner. Alongside her were her Elements of Harmony. The team wanted to scan her to see if she would have any other magical abilities they should know about. Princess Luna was present as well.Pinkie, Applejack, Lightning and Starla were there too. Pinkie was bouncing in place. “Oooh, this is so exciting. “ Pinkie bounced around the lab and while she was doing that, part of her mane caught a beaker filled with purple liquid. “Oooh, what’s this?”

“Pinkie!” Professor Brain snatched the beaker away from Pinkie and placed it on the table. “That’s not something you should be playing with. This is my shrinking potion.”

“Shrinking potion?” Lightning asked.

“Yes, it’s a magic potion that makes anything that touched it about three inches tall. The lab boys just finished it. And it shouldn’t be messed with.”

Pinkie nodded. “So what’s up with Sapphire?”

Professor Brain went back to the machine. “Well, according to the scans. When Sapphire and the Elements combine their magic, her magical output is increased tenfold. Making it almost as strong as Grand Rulers’ Uniforce attack.” The ponies were amazed.

Brain shut down the machine and Sapphire sat up. “So is it safe for me to continue using the Elements?” she asked.

“Yes, there are no serious side effects of using the Elements magic as well as your own.” Brain replied. Sapphire sighed and then felt a tickle in her nose. “A-A-Achoo!”

She sneezed and a small bolt of magic came out and blasted the beaker with the shrinking potion sending it into the air. “Watch out!” Applejack cried. Pinkie, Lightning, Starla and Applejack scattered. Sapphire sneezed again and this blast broke the beaker, spilling it onto Grand Ruler and Celestia!

“Oh no!” Brain cried. All at once, the two royal ponies glowed and in an instant shrank down to three inches.

“Woah nelly.” Applejack said.

Their majesties gasped at their now shrunken shelves. “Galloping Galaxies!” Lightning said.

“I’m so sorry.” Sapphire said. Lightning held out his hand and their majesties climbed into it. Lightning brought them up to the others. “I’m so so sorry. I didn’t meant to.” Sapphire said.

“It’s alright Sapphire. We know you didn’t mean it.” Celestia reassured. Luckily, their voices didn't turn high pitch like they normally would when someone gets shrunk.

“Professor, please tell me you made a cure for this.” Luna pleaded.

“I can make an antidote to the potion, but I need some time.” Brain replied.

“How much time?” Lightning asked.

“Er… about… three days.”

“THREE DAYS?!” Everybody exclaimed.

“I’m afraid so.” The team and Luna were worried now. “So what are we gonna do with their majesties?” Pinkie asked. “We can’t leave them alone like this, who knows what or who could accidentally step on them.”

“Pinkie’s right.” Applejack agreed. “Wait, can’t they still cast their magic?” Applejack asked.

“I’m afraid not. When they shrunk it diminished their magic abilities to nothing.” Brain explained. “Oh great, so we’re tiny and magicless.” Grand Ruler groaned. Luna held out her hand and her sister and brother-in-law climbed into it. “Guess, I’ll have to placed you two in your room until the Professor finishes the potion.” she suggested.

“Bu-But what about our royal duties?!” Grand Ruler exclaimed in worry.

“I shall handle your duties while you both are out of commission.” Luna stated. “Do not worry. Now let’s get you both to your room.”

Their majesties sighed and had no choice but to let their little sister takeover their duties for the time being. Luna entered their majesties master bedroom and placed them on the bed. “Now you both stay here while I perform your duties.” Luna ordered.

“Hey, you can’t tell us what to do, sister. We’re in charge!” Celestia said. Luna gave them both mischievous grin. “Sorry sister, but I’m the big sibling now.” Luna smirked. Celestia and Grand Ruler growled, knowing she was right. With that, Luna exited the room and closed the door. Their majesties sat on their bed, “So what should we do now?” Celestia asked.

That’s when her husbands’ stomach growled and he placed a hand on it. “Well according to my stomach, we should get some breakfast, first.” he said.

“But Luna locked the door. How can we get to the kitchen?” Celestia asked. Grand Ruler looked around the room and saw the window… which was open! “I have a plan.” he smiled.

Celestia saw the open window as well, but felt a little nervous. “I’m not so sure that’s such a good idea, darling.”

“Do not worry, darling. Everything will be alright.”

Celestia groaned, but she went along with the plan. Holding hands, their majesties flapped their miniature wings and lifted into the air. Wobbly a little and first, the two managed to land on the window sill. “Phew, that was harder than I thought.” Grand Ruler said.

“Yeah. Now, let’s just get to the-” Celestia was cut off when a gust of wind came in and lifted their majesties into the air! “WOAH!” they cried. They grabbed each other’s hands as the wind current carried them high over and out of New Canterlot. “Galloping Galaxies, this is bad.” Grand Ruler whimpered. “Agreed.” His wife added.

Down below, nobody could see the miniature royals flying through the air, but that didn’t mean pokemon couldn’t spot them. The wind current carried the two into New Everfree Forest where, finally, Grand Ruler grabbed a leaf from a tree. “Phew.” he sighed when suddenly the leaf broke off!

“YAHHH!” Grand Ruler used the leaf as a parachute, catching their majesties and they both gently floated to the ground. “Thank goodness that’s over.” he sighed.

“Ummm… darling. You do realize we’re miniature, in New Everfree Forest with no way to get back to New Canterlot.” Celestia pointed out.

“... Oh… right.”

“HELP!”

Meanwhile, Luna headed back to the bedroom where she left her sister and brother-in-law. “Sister, Brother-in-law, are you two doing o-” she gasped in horror when she saw they weren’t on the bed anymore. “Celestia? Celesto? Where are you?” she checked under the bed, nothing. The small spaces in the room, nothing. Then she looked at the open window and groaned, “Oh dear.”

Luna immediately wrote a letter to Lightning and the others, telling them the situation. She sent it and in seconds Lightning and the entire team were present. “We’re here, Princess.” Lightning said.

“Thanks goodness. I believe my sister and brother-in-law may have gotten out of the room, through the open window and now they may be lost.” Luna explained. The team gasped, “Don’t worry, Princess, we’ll find them. Noctowl, Lycanroc, let’s go!” Sapphire summoned Noctowl and Lycanroc (Midday Form).

“Noctowl.”

“Lycanroc.”

“Noctowl, Lycanroc, we’ve gotta find their majesties. They’ve been shrunk and now they are outside somewhere.” Sapphire ordered. Noctowl and Lycanroc nodded. Noctowl flew out the window while Lycanroc rushed out of the room and the palace. “Let’s go too, gang.” Lightning ordered. The team nodded and they all headed out in search for their majesties, hoping to find them safe and sound.

Back in New Everfree, their majesties were walking through the New Everfree. The grass was two inches taller than they were, making it impossible for them to see above the grass. They couldn’t use their magic to help them. And worse than that.

*GROWL*

*GURGLE*

They were both really hungry, having not eaten breakfast. Celestia’s stomach growled and she rubbed it. “Oh dear, I’m rather famished.” Celestia said. Grand Ruler’s stomach gurgled too and he winced. “Me as well. We better find something to eat soon.” Grand Ruler added. Suddenly, the two felt the ground shaking violently. “What… the…?” That when a muzzle came through the grass, staring at them with hungry eyes. A familiar wooden muzzle exhaling a green foul smelling odor from it’s mouth. Timberwolves. “If these Timberwolves don’t eat us, first.” Celestia whimpered. “RUN!”

Their majesties rushed through the tall grass with the wolf pack hot on their tails. The wolves tried to bite them, but they managed to swerve out of the way. “First, we get shrunk, then we get lost and now we’re about to be Timberwolf breakfast. Can this get any worse?” Celestia cried.

Suddenly the two fell into a mushy, light brown substance. “Mud!” Grand Ruler cried. They tried to pull their legs out of the sticky mud, but it was too thick for them. “Oh dear.” Celestia whimpered. To make matters worse, the Timberwolves caught up with them. The three wolves licked their lips. Their majesties held each other in fear. “This doesn’t look good.” Grand Ruler whimpered.

The wolves moved their heads towards the trapped couple when a light blue mass smacked into the lead Timberwolf, knocking it away from their majesties. “Tini Dra.” Another figure appeared and blasted the other wolves away with it’s fire attack, making them run away in fear, along with their leader. “Deino.”

The two pokemon turned towards their majesties. Dratini extended it’s tail to their majesties. “Dratini.” Their majesties grabbed the tail and Dratini pulled them out of the sticky mud and back onto solid ground. “Thanks that the rescue.” Grand Ruler said.

“Yes, we are most grateful.” Celestia said. “Now could you two help us get back home?”

Dratini cheered happily and picked their majesties up with his tail and placed them on his back. He hopped onto Deino’s back. “Tini, Dra.”

“Deino.” And Deino started walking through the forest. Unaware that a certain team was watching them from afar. Jesse, James and Meowth were looking through their binoculars and spotted the tiny rulers. “So the royal have some small problems, huh?” Jesse said.

“Yeah and they can’t use their magic either.” Meowth said.

“The perfect opportunity for us to grab them and give them to the boss.” James said. The friends laughed evilly.

Luna and the team asked around New Canterlot if anyone had seen their majesties. Sadly nobody had. Noctowl returned from his flight and sadly cooed, shaking his head, “Noctowl.” Lycanroc was sniffing the ground for any scent of their majesties, but he came up with nothing. “Lycanroc.”

“Nothing huh?” Sapphire asked.

“Ooooohh, dear.” Luna whimpered.

“Don’t worry Princess, we’ll find them, we promise.” Starla said.

“Right, we never give up.” Sapphire said. Noctowl nodded and went back out for another search and Lycanroc too.

Deino and Dratini were still continuing through the forest. Their majesties stomach growled again, catching the attention of Dratini. “Dratini?”

“We’re alright, Dratini.” Celestia said, but her stomach gurgled again. “Just a little hungry.” Dratini scouted the tree and found an apple hanging from one of the branches. “Dratini!” He hopped off of Deino, stopping him in his tracks. “Deino!” The little serpentine pokemon slithered towards the tree and climbed up. It reach the branch with the apple and grabbed one in it’s mouth. He pulled it off the branch and gave it to their majesties. “Dratini!”

The apple was the size of a bowling ball to their majesties. “Uh… thanks Dratini, but umm… it’s a little big for us.” Grand Ruler replied gently. Dratini tilted his head to the side and then realized how big the apple must have looked for their majesties. Placing the apple back on the branch. Dratini sliced the apple in half with it’s tail. One half fell down the tree and into Deino’s mouth, while the other he gave back to their majesties. “Thank you Dratini.” Their majesties ate their fill as Dratini slithered back down the tree and climbed back onto Deino’s back.

Just as Deino was about to start walking again, two humans and a cat landed in front of them. “Deino!”

“Dratini!”

“Well, well, well, look what the dragon types dragged in.” Jesse said. “Meowth!”

“On it!” Meowth held a gun and it fired a hand with a bottle in it at their majesties. . The bottle had a cork to seal it. The cork opened and the bottle scooped up their majesties and the cork sealed it, trapping them inside. The hand brought the bottle back and Jesse grabbed it. “Hehe. Gotcha.” she said. “Let us go!” Grand Ruler demanded.

Meowth laughed, “No way and you two can’t do anything about it.”

“Deino!”

“Dratini!”

“Huh?” Team Rocket looked back at Deino and Dratini. Deino bashed into Meowth, sending him flying towards Jesse and James. He crashed into them and the bottle flew out of Jesse’s hands and even deeper into the forest!

Fortunately, Noctowl was flying over the forest when the bottle flew right past him, surprising him “Noctowl!” He took a closer look with his owl vision and saw their majesties. “Noctowl!” He quickly flew back to Sapphire and the others. “Noctowl!”

“You found them Noctowl?” Sapphire asked. Noctowl nodded. “Let’s go gang.”

“Right.”

The bottle crashed on the ground and rolled along the forest floor. Their majesties were tossed around inside. “WOAH! OOF! OW! WOAH! OOF!” Finally, the bottle stopped against a rock and the two fell onto the glass. Their heads were spinnings from the dizzying ride. “Uggggh…. Are you alright, dear?” Grand Ruler asked groggily.

“I.. think so.” Celestia groaned. The two of them shook off the dizziness and staggered to their feet and looked around. “Looks like we’re even deeper in New Everfree Forest… great.” Grand Ruler groaned.

“Now what?” Celestia asked.

“We’re gonna have to move this bottle in order to get somewhere.” Grand Ruler replied. Grand Ruler and Celestia pushed against the bottle, rolling it off the rocks and slowly rolled it through the thick forest. After a few minutes, the two of them decided to rest on the edge of a cave. Rolling a bottle with their miniature bodies was harder than it looked. “So… do you think we’re any closer to getting out of here?” Celestia asked.

Grand Ruler sighed, “I doubt it. At this rate and our size, it may take us days to get home.”

The royal couple sighed. “Well, we better get moving again.” Celestia said. The two were about to keep on moving when….

*GROWL*

Their majesties froze. “Darling… was that your stomach?”

“I’m afraid not.” They heard the growling again and saw a tanish leg next to the bottle and saw red fur above them.

There was only one creature whom matched this description.

“.... Manticore?” Celestia squeaked.

“Manticore.” her husband agreed.

And not just any Manticore. This was the same one who tried to eat them before! The big cat roared and swatted the bottle, sending it flying through the air. “YAAAAAHHHHH!” their majesties screamed as they held each other. The bottle bounced along the ground and came to a rest. Their majesties landed on each other. “Ooooh, that hurt.” Grand Ruler groaned. The Manticore’s roar was heard again and saw the large beast charging towards them. “Move!” Celestia cried. The two ran inside the bottle, making it roll quickly across the ground with the Manticore hot on their tail. “What do we do now?” Celestia inquired.

Grand Ruler looked and saw a river up ahead. “Quick, into the river!”

“Are you sure?” Celestia asked.

“If it’ll keep us from being this cats’ lunch, then yes.” The two drove the bottle into the river and it floated away. The Manticore stopped at the river's’ edge and roared in anger. Their majesties slumped to the floor in relief. “Thanks goodness.” Grand Ruler said. “Now we can catch a break.”

Celestia nodded but looked ahead of them and her face turned from relaxed to frightened. “I don’t think so, my love.”

“Why?” Grand Ruler asked. Celestia pointed ahead of them and he saw what had Celestia so worried. Rocks and rough waters ahead. “... Oh dear.”

“Now what?”

“Prepare for a bumpy ride, Celestia.” The bottle entered the rapids. It was tossed and turned all over, barely missing the sharp rocks. Their majesties were thrown all around in the bottle. Luckily, the bottle didn’t break. And what they thought would be the end of the rough ride, they caught sight of a waterfall ahead of them. “Hold on, darling!” Grand Ruler cried.

The bottle went over the edge and plummeted into the waters below. It resurfaced a moment later and washed up on shore. “Well… that was rough.” Celestia commented.

“Indeed. Let’s hope we’re in the clear.” Grand Ruler said.

Unfortunately, the two of the heard loud footsteps heading there way. “What’s that?” Celestia asked. The creature revealed itself to be a hydra and not just any hydra. It was the same one they encountered before. The hydra spotted the bottle and one of it’s heads picked it up in it’s mouth. “WOOOOAAAAAHHH!”

Noctowl spotted the hydra with the bottle in it’s mouth. “Noctowl, Noct!” he cried.

“Hurry guys.” Sapphire urged. The team nodded and rushed over to the scene.

The three other heads saw their majesties in the bottle. Their majesties held each other in fear. The three heads looked at each other and grinned evilly. Their majesties didn’t like the look of that. The middle head tossed the bottle into the air. “WAAAAHHH!”

… And it ate the bottle!

“Galloping Galaxies, it ate them!” Buddy cried.

“Oh my, that’s not good. How are we gonna get them out now?” Fluttershy asked.

“I can contact my sister and brother-in-law with a special spell. From there, we’ll figure out what to do.” Luna said. She lit her horn and began the spell.

Their majesties opened their eyes but couldn’t see anything except each other’s eyeballs. “Where are now?” Celestia asked.

“Unfortunately, I would say we’re in the hydra’s stomach.” Grand Ruler replied. Celestia gulped nervously and lit her horn at the tip, providing the two of light. All they could see was the part of the bottle and the green stomach acid. “Galloping Galaxies, what are we gonna do?” Grand Ruler asked.

Celestia’s horn glowed and made a screen appear in front of them. “Sister, Brother-in-law, are you alright?” Luna asked.

“Luna! Are we glad to see you.” Celestia said. “We’re okay, but we’re trapped in the hydra’s stomach.”

“We know, we’re gonna get you both out of there.” Lightning said. Suddenly, the two of them were thrown to the side. “What the- What’s going on?” Grand Ruler inquired.

Sapphire looked up and saw the hydra walking away.”The hydra’s on the move, let’s go!” she snapped. The friends followed the hydra while their majesties were rocked inside. “Hang in there, your majesties, we’ll think of something.” Buddy added. “Any ideas?”

“Maybe we can make the hydra vomit?” Rainbow suggested.

“But what could we give it?” Starla asked.

“Well we better think so something fast before the bottle and their majesties are digested.” Artie said. The hydra stopped walking and looked around the area. “Sister, Brother-in-law, are you alright?” Luna asked.

The two of them were on top of each other from the rough ride. “We’re okay, Luna.” Celestia stated.

“We have a plan to get you both free.” Lightning replied.

“Thank goodness.” Grand Ruler sighed.

“Alright, Sapphire?” Sapphire nodded and used her magic to create a disgusting looking cake for the hydra. It was made from dead fish and other decayed animal parts. “This should do it.” Sapphire levitated the cake up to the hydra. The hydra looked at the cake, confused, but it smelled appetizing so it ate the cake in one bite.

No more than one minute later, the hydra’s face turned green and he started gagging. “Get ready, Rainbow.” Sapphire called. Rainbow saluted and flew up a good distance away from the hydra.

Inside, their majesties held onto each other as the bottle was rocked around in the acid. “Hold on, darling.” Grand Ruler said.

The hydra shot a large amount of vomit from it’s mouth and Rainbow spotted the bottle flying towards her. She flew towards it and grabbed it. “Got it!” she cried. The friends cheered as she brought it down to the others. Luna used her magic to clean it and Rainbow’s hands free of hydra saliva. “Celestia, Celesto?” Luna called.

Their majesties looked up with relief at the sight of their younger sister. “Luna!” they cried. The friends were very happy their majesties were safe and sound. Lightning took out the cork and their majesties climbed out of the bottle and into Luna’s hands. “Thanks goodness you both are alright.” Lightning said.

"Deino."

"Tini."

"Huh? What was that?" Buddy asked. That's when Deino and Dratini made their appearance. "Deino, Dratini!" Sapphire called.

"Who?" Rainbow asked.

Deino and Dratini looked at their majesties and their majesties gazed back at them. "Thanks for your help." Celestia said. Deino and Dratini nodded. Sapphire grinned at the two, "I guess you helped them, that's really nice of you both. How's Scoutland doing?"

Deino and Dratini looked surprised at her question, but they didn't reply. They both simply turned away and dashed back into the woods. "... Talk about two mysteries." Artie claimed.

"Yep. We'll meet again." Sapphire said.

"Anyway let's get you two home." Lightning added. Their majesties smiled until… “Cause now me and Lightning can yell at you both for being foolish.” Luna hissed, making an upset facial expression along with Lightning.

Their majesties laughed and smiled nervously. This would not end well.

After about fifteen minutes of getting scorned by Luna and Lightning for their little stunt, their majesties were soon back in their bedroom with the window closed this time. Luna came in with a plate consisting of chicken, steak, potatoes and bread. “Here’s your dinner.” she said. She placed the plate on the bed. “Thanks Luna.” Celestia said.

Even though the food was WAY larger than they were, their majesties managed to eat until they were full. Luna chuckled seeing her sister and brother-in-law asleep near the plate with full stomachs. Luna gently picked the two up and placed them on the pillow and made two mini blankets for them and covered them. The two of them had a long day and needed a well deserved rest. "Sweet dreams." she said. She took the plate and quietly left the room.

She went to the balcony and lowered the sun and brought forth the night.

Two days have passed quicker than expected and Professor Brain presented the antidote to the shrinking potion. "One small drop for each." he said as he poured one drop on their majesties tiny selves. In a bright glow the two of them returned to their rightful size. "It worked!" Pinkie cried. The team and Luna were relived to have their majesties back. "Good to be back." Grand Ruler declared.

"Yes, yes it is." his wife agreed.
