My Little Pony: The Game

I returned to my last save in the Tree of Harmonies cave. I had spent the equivalent of another 4 months to gaining combat experience, something I lacked. I did this by fighting dozens of hundreds of comet powered Firebenders all at once, then I recreated the Clone War(without actually starting a new game) to give a boost to my understanding of grand tactics and politics, and I redid it for 10 years.

I can comfortably concur the world on my own, or by commanding a small group of soldiers.

I had thought about Iroh's advice over the course of my training, and I decided to follow it. I sent out a small pulse of magic with a specific target in mind. It returned and I charged up a teleport, looking over the cave before I blinked away.

When I appeared, I was surprised to see a destroyed and burning underground city. It looked Aztec in design and the cavern looked to be as large as the country side of Ponyville.

I heard the sound of combat, and quickly moved to find it. When I did I was surprised by what I saw.

An injured Queen Chrysalis was being tended to as Changelings desperately fired magic beams at a dragon. He was an electric blue and spikier version of Smaug from The Hobbit. He then exhaled and lightning shot forward, sending the defending Changelings flying back.

"Pathetic. You should be glad that I'm only here for your riches, otherwise I would have simply annihilated you all for being so weak."

So, this is why the Changelings invaded Canterlot during the wedding. It wasn't just for food, but they had lost their home as well, at least in this world.

The dragon inhaled again, and shot lightning towards Chrysalis, but I jumped in front of her, using Lightning Redirection to send the shot back towards the dragon, sending him flying back.

I looked over to Chrysalis, she had a look of both shock and hope on her face. She seemed unable to stand, and the Changelings tending to her didn't seem much better.

Looking back I saw the dragon standing again, glaring with a killing stare.

"Foolish unicorn. Don't you know who I am! I AM LIGHTNING BOLT ZOLT! GOD OF LIGHTNING!"

I suddenly had the urge to facehoof, but was distracted by another shot of lightning, which I also redirected towards to other end of the cavern, causing a huge stalactite to fall.

"So, foolish pony. What do you think of my power?"

"I think Nickelodeon is gonna sue someone." I said, getting a confused look from everyone.

Shaking my head, I used fire jets to launch forwards. I sent multiple shots of magic while softening the earth under the large dragon. Zolt wasn't fazed by the attacks and sent more shots of lightning at me. Instead of redirecting them immediately I caught and contained all of them while adding my own power to it.

Using Earthbending I lifted multiple pillars out of the nearby ground and sent them at Zolt, which didn't seem to hurt, but acted as a good distraction.

I then created multiple magic clones that all used Iroh's signature fire breathing technique, badly injuring Zolt. I then quickly checked his health.

Zolt:

Health: 1,800/4,000

MP: 400/6,000

...At this point that's pathetic. I landed in front of Zolt and absorbed another shot of electricity, bringing Zolt's MP down to 200.

I then used this opportunity to sink the ground Zolt was standing on, causing slight damage and angering him greatly. I then bent stone blocks to push up against his wings, keeping him from opening them.

I then landed in front of him as he charged up his next lightning blast. I quickly jumped up and ran around to the back of his neck and was ready to impress.

The pony was on the back of the dragons neck when he fired, and then large magic arms protruded out of her horn, and grabbed his ears and neck, forcing his lightning up. Suddenly the lightning started fading and turned to powerful flames, but they too faded. Zolt then fell to the ground, but quickly got up.

The unicorn then got off him and landed on the ground in front of him once again, but this time didn't seem to care about the dragon behind her. This made Zolt very angry.

"Don't you know who you're dealing with?! You insolent pony garbage!" Zolt screamed, and just as he fired another blast of lightning.

Nothing happened.

I watched as Zolt desperately tried to fire more lightning, but to no avail. After about a minute or so, he looked back down at me in anger.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME PONY!?" Zolt angerly spat.

"Shouldn't it be obvious. I took away your lightning. Now you won't be able to hurt anyone with it anymore, but I won't take any chances." I said, slowly going through what must of looked like a dance to the Changelings and the dragon.

Soon enough lightning crackled and shot off of my body, and I quickly focused it between my hooves. Then I shot the lightning directly at Zolt, an attack worth a thousand lightning bolts, hitting him directly in the face.

Time seemed to slow down, as an electric explosion pulsed out from Zolt's body as it was being destroyed by the lightning. I could not let the explosion spread, it would fly in the face of why I came here in the first place. I then created a shield that the lightning blew against, sending thunder across the caverns.

Then I teleported the barrier and the explosion inside above the ocean. Hopefully it wouldn't hurt anyone. I made sure only to teleport the lightning and barrier, so I could study Zolt's body later.

I then turned my head towards Chrysalis, who looked at me with a terrified face.

It was incredible. This pon- no! This goddess just defeated the legendary dragon Lightning Bolt Zolt without any effort. She blocked and redirected all of his attacks, and she took away his lightning, it was truly a sight to see.

But I was also very afraid of what she would so next. When she turned to me I was so scared, not only for myself, but for my Changelings. What would she do now? Bribe us, steal from us, and spirits forbid kill us!

She slowly approached as her muzzle turned to a smile. She stood over me as her horn lit up. I instantly felt like all of my wounds were just never there. I stood up and looked her in the eye.

I was still scared, she killed the dragon that put me down with ease. Her smile remained unchanged as she spoke.

"Hello. My name is Catalyseur, and I would like to offer my help to you." She said.

My introduction certainly shocked Chrysalis, if her expression was anything to go by. She then changed it back to emotionless in order to look more intimidating...

It wasn't working.

"What kind of help?" She asked, still suspicious of me. I merely let my love flow outwards, to which all the Changelings present almost gobbled up on the spot.

"It's clear you and your subjects aren't in the, best of positions. So I thought I could offer you assistance and make your Changelings more self sufficient and safe from future dangers." I said, shocking Chrysalis.

I keep letting my emotions flow as some of the Changelings present couldn't contain themselves anymore. Chrysalis was close to joining them as I saw the strain on her face.

"W-What's in it for you." Said the Changeling Queen, on the verge of gorging herself.

"My friends and loved ones in Equestria have betrayed me. While I have no intention of getting revenge, I need help in healing over that betrayal. I've heard that Changelings are masters of emotion and love, so I came here." I explained. At this point Chrysalis was salivating uncontrollably.

"*Sigh* Just go eat the love, it's going to waste just sitting there." I said, to which Chrysalis nodded and joined the rest of the Changelings in the feast.

This is going to be an interesting development.
