“Hi…” I heard behind me, to which I feigned ignorance at the familiar voice as I noticed it was Chara, my Discord friend. I then used this ruse to excuse me letting a huge ass ripper out, right at him.

“Yes?” an old looking guy said before sniffing the air and frowning. “Did I leave a portal to hell open? Smells like hell here… Oh, it’s Connors asshole...not too big a difference, actually, just less demons ...” He then looked to me oddly. “Why in the name of me are you naked anyway? Shouldn’t you be off making your new bodies by now? I set you up with reincarnation.”
I frowned “Who are you?”
“wait are you God?” He deadpanned as he nodded. A huge sign coming into focus behind him saying, I AM GOD.
”Why did you make such a long-ass book for us to follow!?” Chara says frowning at the literal creator of the universe.
“Before you go on a…” he looked to his fingers as if doing quick math “Seven hour long rant, I just did the commandments, the rest was a bunch of yahoos making legends about me, I mean, dude, I talk to a guy and he thinks I want him to sacrifice his kid! I had to make him kill some goat, with me IN it.”
“no not the goat!” Chara yells out as tears prick at the side of her eyes.
God deadpanned and sighed. “Anyway, I see the problem, some guy at messenger services decided to take his vacation day before his first day at a new job. Pay cut for him, no doubt about it. [thirteen years later]
I was walking along the limits of Ponyville, where My family had moved after I was born. I was currently looking for my Big sister, which was amazingly enough Fluttershy of all Ponies.
“Shy?” I called out, looking for my sister as I secretly readied my gamer abilities, having a sledgehammer I… borrowed, ready to come into my right hand at a moments notice.
I soon heard Fluttershy’s crying and bolted towards her voice, finding a teenage dragon and his posse was tormenting her with their fire breath, burning her hair and wings ever so slightly, not enough to leave a mark, but still more than enough to hurt. She could see me and shook her head in a panic. “Forgey! Run! It’s not safe!”
The dragons turned to me and grinned “Heh, seems that the sweet piece of ass has a little brother. Maybe we can use him to convince her to have some fun?”
I narrowed my eyes before chuckling icily and taking out my sledgehammer from my inventory. “Your right. I am her brother… And I am little… But wanna know something?” I ran at the nearest dragon and crushed his kneecap with brutal force. “I’m not letting you lay one claw on my big sister!” As I said that, I followed up on the swing and crushed the dragons wings, crippling it and knocking it out from the pain.
I then was punched in the muzzle by the second of the six dragons, to which I simply spat a bloody loogie in his fat face before breaking his jaw and ripping off one of his horns with my bare hands.
I may have unintentionally removed a bit of his brain with it, to which I bit it off and spat it in the face of a third right before he breathed red hot fire onto me, making me grunt as I fought the urge to shout from the pain. One of the dragons looked to the boss, whom I recognized as a young Garble now. “Boss! He barely even flinched! What in Bahamut's name is this pony?!”
I looked at my stats and frowned, I was at half health, not good chances when the four left are fire breathers… I leapt at the one who doused me in fire and stabbed him through the eye.
Right as I was about to be flambe’d again, I saw a dome appear over us, a Unicorn mare about my big sisters age floating down from the Tree line casually as they chuckled. “So, you were going to have fun with the pretty mare, huh? Gonna hurt her baby brother so she’d cooperate?” She grinned at garble and the survivors glibly before staring straight into the leaders eyes. “Well, While he may have had some fun with you, it’s my turn to play, and you know what?” She giggled sadistically before hundreds of spinning arrows appeared around the dragons. “I break my toys!”
As she buffets the survivors, I observed the mare and smiled.

Garble promptly fled and was long gone before I spoke up. “Good thing he didn’t know you were full of shit.”
Fluttershy looked to me in shock, seeming to snapped out of her fear paralysis. “Forgey! Manners!”
I shrugged “Hey, I had three healing potions in my inventory ready to go.” i then pulled out one and took a swig, downing it in one.”
The mare looked to me oddly before smiling “Oysters and cabbage?”
I grinned knowingly, certain it was my old friend now. “Wanna whiff again?”
The man turned mare guffawed. “Naw, I think I’m good never smelling that again.”
I turned to the confused Shy and smiled. “We just found my best friend from before I was reincarnated.”
She frowned in confusion. “B-but I thought they were a he?”
I grinned “Well, he always wanted to be a girl. I never understood why, I mean dude, you gave up peeing standing up, for a future with periods.”
She grinned “I got magic for that.”
I shrugged. “Hey, I also get testosterone, so I get muscles easier.” I grinned and helped down Shy, who was staring at my new/old BFF.
“S-so… what should we call you now? My parents called my brother Fury forge, in hopes that it would calm him down… it...kinda worked?”
She smiled “Name’s Mana Burst, now… I was wondering, you single? I’d love to go out sometime.”
My big sister blushed hotly. “Wh-what?! B-but your my baby brothers age!”
I deadpanned. “I am literally only a year younger than you.”
She blushed even harder. “A-and… I’ve… never been on a date before… and My parents… they don’t know I like mares yet…”
I chuckled “They know… I may have been paid by them to get them your diary.”
Fluttershy paled. “W-why?”
I shrugged. “They needed to know, secrets aint healthy like that, and… I got an apprenticeship at the local smithy.”
She looked to me in a hurt manner. “B-but…that was years ago...”
I smile “Yeah, When they read it, I may have given them the riot act. They never told me they were going to read it. I just figured they were going to check the pages left, see if they needed to get you a new one yet, like the last time.”
Mana Burst chuckled “Yeah, I remember when I came out to my parents… They floundered for hours trying to give me the talk. Shining was cool about it, Twilight and Spike tried to get me hooked up with Cadence, but I wasn’t into her like that, besides, I saw Shining drooling at her, and herding with family would be…. weird.”
I nodded “Well, You two have my blessing, just know that if you hurt Fluttershy, I’ll shave you bald before throwing you into an ink vat.”
Mana Burst looked appalled “Who would hurt someone so perfect?! That would be like… like kicking a puppy, or drowning a kitten! It’s just not done by good ponies!”
We then heard a ringing sound as Mana Burst pulled out an alarm clock. “Shit! I gotta go!” She kissed Fluttershy’s cheek before teleporting away with a soft pop.
I looked to Shy and smiled as i saw her wings puff out in her first wingboner. “So, looking forward to that date?”
She nodded as a dopey grin covered her face.
[ten years later]
I woke up to find it was business as usual, Fluttershy was busy caring for some animals as I woke up, I went and got my breakfast, some hay bacon and friesop Ponyville as I waved goodbye to Shy and made my way to town, getting greeted by none other than my marefriend Pinkie, who was beckoning me over with a carefree smile.
“Hey, Forgey! I heard mana burst was coming to town again, this time with her sister!” She smiled at me as I walked up to her. “So, you going to want to double date again?”
I shrugged. “Who knows, I mean, I’d have to share your attention, and I’m a selfish kind of stallion~.” I said with a grin as I kissed her cheek. “By the way, how’s that new frying pan, working well?”
Pinkie nodded “Yes indeedio, my boyfriend-io!”
I then got a text on my phone from Mana Burst, once known as Chara. “Yo, you free?” it said.
I looked to Pinkie and smiled “Gotta take this, see you later?”
She nodded as I went to my smithy, unlocking the door and heading in, before promptly closing the shutters and locking the door. “Sup? Moon butt is coming downstairs, I bet?”
Mana Burst sent a nodding emoji, before sending me another text. “Get ready, Fury Forge, we are going to distract Night horse.”
I grinned and walked towards the back of my forge, right as I saw Twilights Procession make it to town, with Mana Burst and Spike riding with her. I texted her with a grin on my face “Have her come round town, got a gift for her.” I sent the text to her right as she turned Twilight to my shop.
“Hey, Fury Forge, this is my sister Twilight, I know you have met, but you probably didn’t recognize her due to the lack of books covering her face.”
Twilight blushed and huffed “Why are we here, Mana Burst? You know I’m terrible with weapons…”
She grinned “Because, Fury made you something, and I’d rather not diss the best craftsman in the world.”
I chuckled “What, you dis me? Naw, I’m the one who does the dissing.” Even if she came up with some of my better ideas for enchantments, I was the one who made them shine. Luckily, I had made an order a few months back for orichalcum, and got the materials just in time to make a horn diadem, made to encapsulate the horn in many layers of the magical metal, each layer micro etched with runes made to amplify magic absorption and output. One of these diadems had enough oomph to render the Alicorn amulet obsolete, and I just so happened to have made two.
I grinned at their awestruck faces. “I made one for each of you. Now, this is a freebie, Sparkles, cause your my best buddies friend.” My face darkened. “Don’t make me regret it by failing now.”
Mana Burst rejected my gear, pulling out her money. “At least let me-”
I grinned “ You can repay me by helping me gather materials after we deal with that ‘Nightmare’ of a bed head your sister has.” I put a special emphasis on the word Nightmare, as I looked to Twilight.
She frowned in shock. “You.. you know about Nightmare Moon?”
Mana Burst nodded “We’ve been planning contingency plans left and right, in case if the Elements are a no show.”
I sighed and clocked Mana burst upside the head playfully. “Way to keep it on the down low.”
She smiled jovially. “Hey, my sister kept my secret, why can’t she keep this one?”
I frowned. “Because, I may trust you two, but your brother on the other hand is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Hell, he’s duller than a sack of hammers!”
As Twilight puffed out her cheeks in an upset manner, Mana Burst tried to calm her sister down. “Hey, you can’t say he’s wrong, guy is great, but If I can get out of coming in through the front door at age ten, at six A.M… he’s damn stupid.”
Twilight huffed angrily. “I hate it, but you are right…”
I scratched my cheek.. “I was just talking about the time he tried sparring against me with a metal weapon, when I was using electric weapons… but also, why does he only do shields? That magic of his has so many more applications...”
Twilight sighed as she nodded reluctantly. “Okay…”
Mana Burst smiled to me. “So, feel like coming with us as we greet… ugh… Rarity?”
Spike looked to her curiously. “Who is Rarity?”
I sighed in annoyance. “The most frivolous, selfish, and self gratifying bitch in ponyville.”
Twilight smacked my arm with a cry of “Language!” before gasping in pain upon contact with my rock hard arm. “What is your arm MADE of?!”
Mana Burst smirked. “Pure concentrated muscle.”
I smirked as well. “Now, how about we head to where Rarity was supposed to be helping the construction crew set up for the Summer Sun celebration… she is probably just decorating.”
Twilight and Spike looked to me worriedly. “What is so bad about her?”
Mana Burst. “She pretends to be generous towards others as a manipulative tactic to advance her social position.”
I grunted “And she spends all of her free time insulting my works, saying that they were ‘drab’ And ‘Uninspired’. I have had to hold back your little sister here on several occasions, when she insulted Flutters. And I had to be pinned down by Pinkie and Mana Burst not to kill her when she called Pinkie a… I hate to even repeat it, but an ‘unrepentantly uncouth whorse.’ I literally wanted to burn down her shop, because she made Pinkie cry.”
Mana Burst grunted. “Well… I did curse her for a week with every pattern of cloth she uses in her dresses becoming purple and green plaid.”
Twilight looked to her in shock. “That’s what you were looking into curses for?! I thought you were...working on another project…”
I grinned and whispered into Mana bursts ear. “Skill level?”
She smiled. “Max.”
I chuckled. “So, Twilight, you play videogames?”
Twilight frowned, glaring at Mana Burst. “Much more than I like.” I grinned and pulled out my invite tab, which I have only used so far for Mana Burst and Shy, and sent an invite to Twilight. Her shocked face was priceless before she got her calm act back together. “So that’s why she hangs out with you! You are like her!”
I frowned “That, and we are friends.”
Twilight pulled out a notepad and looked to me “So… What kind of Gamer are you? Chara’s a mobility based magic caster… but I doubt you are, since your an earth pony…”
I smiled “I am a level 7500 Siege breaker. I have re-classed three times to the same profession.”
She frowned “three?! But Magic Burst had to be in those horrible dungeons non stop to get this far!”
I frowned. “Why are you saying that they are horrible? We get very strong because of them, and I get some otherwise impossible to get materials.”
Twilight frowned as well. “But they are so dangerous! One hit from those things almost killed Mana Burst!”
Burst grunted “I was a filly! And how was i supposed to know a Zombie from resident Evil could hit so hard!? At least I didn’t pick prototype, remember that one?”
I chuckled. “I Fight in a VERY different manner. I am built to take hits and send back death.”
Burst chuckled as we reached Rarities position. “Yeah, but you can’t even-” I grabbed Mana Burst and Twilight before I flung them aside as a bunch of scaffolding fell from above us.
Rarity Huffed as i held up the ceiling as Spike hurried out of danger. “And what do you two want? I can only pray it’s fashion tips, your ensemble is dreadful as ever!”
I grunted, knowing she left no evidence of her attempted murder. “I don’t think you should be one to talk, eh, Burst?”
Burst smirked. “Oh, this coming from mrs green and purple plaid?”
Twilight and Spike step in front of Burst, glaring at Rarity. “What in the name of Faust are you doing to my sister?!”
Rarity huffed. “I am certain I have no idea what you are talking about.”
I then stepped in, shaking off the scaffolding and ceiling chunks that fell on me. “So, Bleach coat, how goes the search for a normal looking wig?”
She looked to me in confusion. “Huh?”
I smiled evilly. “I will shave your mane off and turn it into a beard for a hippo if you ever do that again!”
She smiled. “You can’t prove it was me, so too bad!”
I grinned and walked to the far wall, getting a hold of an invention of mine and Mana Burst, a Camera. “So, I wonder how Celestia will react to this LIVE FEED being sent to her. I mean, it’s not like she will SEE YOU TRY TO KILL US.” i smirked. “Oh, and don’t forget, two of us are her personal students.”
Ririty paled and looked to the camera before leaping at me. “Give me that!”
I swatted her off, sending her sprawling. “Oh, and by live feed, iI mean it sent the whole thing to her guards.”
It was at this point that Shining Armor came in, and he was beyond pissed. “Care to explain why you tried to kill not only my siblings and nephew, but the ex captain of the craftsman corps?”
Rarity looked to him fearfully as I looked to Shining. “Oh, By the way, I hear you finally got promoted to captain yourself? Congrats. Was about to send you a free charm for that amulet I made you. Should make your barriers have some extra oomph.”
Shining, upon hearing this, practically geeked out as rarity tried to flee, only for me to fling a vase at her, knocking her out and soaking her in old water. “So, arrest her, and come by in about three days?” he asked.
I nodded “Sure thing man.”
Shining then looked to Mana Burst warily. “Care to explain why she was targeting you specifically?”
“We despise each other on a deep, and intimate level. The hate boners could NOT be stronger between us.“ mana Burst said with a shrug.
I just shrugged. “And I may have spoken out about the impracticality of her garments. I mean, really, the Gems could be used for much more important things than...that.”
Mana Burst smiled “Hey, at least we learned how to do her gem finding spell. The one damn thing about her worth a shit.”
I grinned “Language?”
Twilight chuckled. “I know my baby sister is beyond help.”
Mana Burst pouted. “Meanies…”
I grinned. “Next up, the music, being handled by the sister of yours truly.”
Twilight paled. “You have a sister? Please don’t tell me she’s all buff like you!”
I shook my head “Naw, she’s… well…”
Mana Burst whispered in Twilight's ear, to which she gasped. “Your sister is Fluttershy?!”
I nodded with a chuckle. “Well, she’s in charge of the music, let’s go.”
As we made our way to Fluttershy, I got a notification from my Gamer vision.

I pull up my stats and smile, seeing that the boost had applied correctly, with the gear I had made not causing any trouble whatsoever.
I smiled and chuckled as we reached Shy, her having finally gotten the birds to sing on key, Looks like the flute gave her helped after all. She looked to us as I cleared my throat, her face lighting up as she saw Mana Burst, running to her and tackling her in a hug. “You came to visit!”
I smiled and tapped her shoulder, gesturing to Twilight, Spike and I. She blushed as she looked to us. “O-oh! S-sorry…”
I chuckled as Twilight walked up to Fluttershy calmly. “So you are the Fluttershy my baby sister has been talking about?”
Mana Burst pouted. “I’m only a year younger! And I’m WAY stronger!”
She smirked. “Aww, is baby Mana Burst cranky? Maybe You should snuggle your ‘sweet yellow goddess’ to feel better?”
Mana Burst blushed a deep crimson. “Yes but not because you told me to!”
As the two lovebirds snuggled, I nudged Spike into View. She gasped with wonder. “A baby dragon?! Oh my goodness, so cute!”
Spike deadpanned. “I am male, I am handsome, not cute, and I am already thirteen years old. I am by no means a baby, I just have shrunk due to SOMEONES crappy aim.”
Mana Burst huffed. “It should wear off soon, I mean, I barely put any mana into it.”
Spike’s veins bulge with anger as he waved a fist at Mana. “It better! I look like I belong in a freaking day care!”
Fluttershy looks to Spike and frowns. “That’s not very nice, little mister, say you are sorry!”
Spike looked to Fluttershy Bluntly. “From this distance, there are ten different ways I could kill you.”
Spike was soon smacked by a rather irate looking Mana Burst as Fluttershy hid behind her, quaking in fear. “I trained you because you need to protect Twilight, not so that you could harm my girlfriend.”
I then finished looking at Spike and smiled “How about I make you some armor after the celebration? My shop is closed for the day, but I could make you some choice gear.”
Spike grinned at me, excitement in his eyes. “For sure!”
Twilight looked to me cautiously. “And let me guess, your charging extra to cover the horn diadems.”
I raised a brow. “Eh, no. I’ll charge you a discounted price, since this will just be training armor for until he comes into his own as a fighter.”
Spike looked at me in confusion. “Training? You saying I’m untrained? My aunt trained me ragged on any and all creatures weak points!”
I shook my head. “True, but I saw how you carried yourself all the walk here. You need some of my training too. Your aunt may have taught you pressure points and speedy death delivery, but what if you can’t hit those points, or your fighting something without those pressure points you have become so dependant on now? You need to get a weapon, and get good with it.”
Mana Burst nodded “He’s right, I can’t help you there as I know nothing of dragons fighting styles. Only reason I even knew the weak points was that I got a few good scans of you.”
Spike sagged as he looked bummed at this revelation. “So I am a weakling even at full size?”
I chuckled as we made it to the Golden oaks Library. “No, What I’m saying, is that you have a great foundation, and it’s my turn to help you, starting tomorrow.”
Spike looked hopefully to Twilight, who nodded reluctantly. Mana Burst then stopped Twilight and smiled to Twilight in an apologetic manner. “Now… before we head in, just know Pinkie pie, Fury forges girlfriend, is VERY affectionate towards him. He kinda helped her out with some serious hang-ups, and she kinda… well… she loves him a lot. So If you wanna pursue this little crush you have on him? Ask Pinkie first.”
Twilight blushed a deep crimson as they walked in and were greeted by the entire town shouting “Surprise!” as the lights came on. Pinkie strolled on in in a happy manner from upstairs, then slid down the handrail before leaping and landing on my shoulders. “Soo, Forgey? How was my landing?”
I smiled and thought a moment. “You get an eight outta ten, would of been better if you did a twirl or a flip in midair first.” I then chuckled. “And nice choice on the chimi-cherry-changa spread, as well as the floral pattern panties.”
Mana Burst tried to smack me in the back of the head with a cry of “Pervert!” only for Pinkie to leap off of my shoulders, catch her hand and flip her into a wall. She smirked “No one hits my stallion while I can help it!”
I smirked. “No one but you, and that’s for private time.”
Pinkie smiled. “No, that’s different, it’s our hips doing it.”
Mana Burst shouted from the wall, apparently having the wind knocked from her lungs.”But… anime instincts! Must… smack... pervert!”
I deadpanned. “There aren’t any kids here, and the perversion is welcomed by Pinkie.”
Pinkie nodded “It’s true! I love my Forgey Worgey Georgie!”
I grinned. “And by the way, she’s a trained martial artist. Puts Dashie to shame.”
Pinkie grinned. “Yuppers! Trained with master Gloompalm from the Umbra Legata when Forgey went to meet them!”
Mana burst looked to Pinkie with respect. “You actually learned from them?! Those guys are crazy strong! They beat me to shit, and I’m crazy broken!”
I chuckled. “The Umbra Legata saw something in Pinks, something worth fostering. I don’t know exactly what they saw, but I know that I’m happy that Pinkie learned a way to protect herself if I’m not around at the moment.”
Rainbow Dash, who had looked to me curiously as she saw Pinkie fling Mana Burst like nothing, then flew over to us at the mention of her being better than her at martial arts. “Hey, what do you mean Pinkie is better than me at fighting? And what the hay is an Umbra... whatever you said.”
Mana Burst, who was helped out of the wall by Fluttershy and still had trouble catching her breath, silently pointed to me, as Shy glared at Pinkie. Pinkie gave no shits as she whistled a little tune.
I smiled. “Well, the Umbra Legata are a tribe of people who have adapted to living in the shadow realm. Sort of a Limbo dimension where all the dark goes when there is light shining.”
Twilight looked to me in shock. “But they were supposed to have withdrawn from Equestria centuries ago!”
I shrugged. “I may or may not have found an old temple of theirs in the Everfree, turns out, they just had some… affairs, that needed to be dealt with.”
Rainbow nodded slowly. “So… what is this Gloompalm thing?”
I smirked. “It makes Equestrian martial arts look like shit. It literally is the second most lethal and dangerous martial arts style in the world.” I chuckled. “The path to awakening even the basic use of this style, is called the Halls of Hypnos. They are only accessible by dreaming, and they make you face the deepest, darkest secrets of your psyche… the things that you don’t want to admit to yourself, you have to see every horrible thing you were ever tempted to do, or thought of doing, and come to terms with it.”
Rainbow Dash eyed Pinkie and frowned, a look of respect igniting in her eyes. “You went through that, Pinkie?”
She nodded. “It… it wasn’t easy, but I had Forgey by my side the whole way… he never so much as winced, he stayed with me the whole way…” She smiled. “I love him.”
Mana Burst frowned at this revelation, seeming uncomfortable with this topic as she regained her breath. “A-anyway, you mind telling them about those guys? I… I gotta take care of some stuff.”
Fluttershy and mana Burst walked off as Twilight stuck with me, Pinkie, and rainbow. I couldn’t see Spike until I looked up to see he was sitting atop a bookshelf. Dude was reading as he just ignored the party goers. I shrugged and looked to Twilight. “I assume you want me to tell you what I learned from them?”
She nodded excitedly before I chuckled. “What? It’s an almost forgotten culture! I would be a horrible scholar if I left such information alone!”
“Sorry,” I said. “But you look like Pinkie when I asked her out the first time.” I shrugged and thought a moment as Pinkie walked after Mana Burst, a worried look on her face.
[POV Mana Burst]
As Forge mentioned the Halls of Hypnos, millions of thoughts flooded my mind. One, being that I knew my darkness quite well, due to me being a reincarnated human. The other, being that I was certain I’d never let anyone see my darkness, even if I had to face it alone. Third and final, not only did I hope to never face my dark side, but I was also conflicted with the desire for the power of this school.
“Hey, you okay?” I heard a voice behind me say in concern as I turned to see Pinkie of all mares. Where did Shy go? Upon seeing my confusion, she smiled lightly. “Oh, I apologized to Shy, and she went to get drinks for you two.”
She then sighed. “Look, your scared of your darkside, right? I’m going to be frank with you, it is… not fun. And before you get all specific, with you saying it’s other people seeing it? Stop the Semantics. I know what it’s like, you want to hide what it is, but trust me, you can only pass the test with someone with you, and it’s better with someone you trust. So all i’m going to say about it is this: Think of the good times with your loved ones, for every bad thought, counter it with a good thought and a little acceptance.”
She smiled. “If you see a thought of that time you wanted to hurt someone? Think of a time you helped a friend feel better, and say, ‘Yeah, I’d hurt someone to help loved ones.’ the big deal, the whole kit and kaboodle of it, is that you have to come to terms with your own shadow, before you can use others.”
I smiled hollowly. “ Pinkie, it’s not that I don’t know my shadow, it’s that I know it too well.”
She sighed and flicked my forehead. “Then tell me, professor. How come you aren’t already a Gloompalm? Because you know it too well, or you are trying to hide it from others?”
I sighed. “Not letting others see it…I can only see fury doing that with me, and he’d look at me-”
She smiled. “I know Fury Forge, and I gotta say: that’s total crap.” She giggled at my shocked face. “What? Expect me to be all bubbles and sunshine? That was an act that Forgey helped me get over. Sure, I still love to bring happiness and joy, but...I don't DEPEND on others for my own now.”
I smirked. “Well, at least he helped you out with that, huh?” I chuckled. “Now he just has to get you to lose about thirty pou-grk!”
Pinkie had chopped me in the throat before suplexing me easily into the bob for apples. “Fatality.” She said, before walking away, Fluttershy coming back with an amused grin. “You should know by now not to call mares fat. Remember what happened with that one minotauress who turned out to be a professional wrestler?”
I raise my hand feebly as I lay in the bob for apples.”Worth it…” I then chug a health potion from my inventory and toss it before hugging Shy. “Mine.”
Fluttershy rolled her eyes and kissed me. Tasted like cinnamon and vanilla, as always.
[POV Twilight]
My eye twitched as I looked to Pinkie Pie suplexing my baby sister into a tub of water and apples, before she walked up to me. “She called me fat.”
I sighed as i took my notebook and put it away upstairs, before coming down and heading with everyone to the site of the Summer sun Celebration. Curiously enough, Fury Forge and Mana Burst were nowhere to be seen.

It had been one year since my apprenticeship with the town blacksmith ended and she left me in charge, basically. Apparently I left a helluva good impression on Iron Hammer, as she lets me have most of the proceeds from my work. Either that, or I don’t understand how bits work after twelve years.
Fat fucking chance of that, what with my parents being retired co-ceo’s of the weather factory. I mean seriously, those two could spread bits further than they could icing on a cake… Aaaand now I’m craving sweets.
I grumbled grumpily as I put up a sign on the smithies window, stating that I would be back soon, and was gone for lunch. I hated that even though I didn’t need food to live, I still had cravings. I eventually made my way to the town square as I saw Applejack and her parents, along with Big mac, walking through town. I smiled at the sight of them, and waved to them before sighing, still trying to figure out what happens to them, to try and protect them.
I grinned at the memory of my cutie mark, that showed up last week. A red hot shield, with a hammer beating on an anvil behind it. While my parents were concerned about my having a shield as a cutie mark, which often meant military service of some sort, Shy and Mana burst couldn’t be happier for me.
I made my way to the newly opened Sugarcube Corner as I was quickly seated by none other than Pinkie Pie herself. “Hiya! What can I get for you today?”
I rubbed my chin in thought for a second before sapping my fingers, a smile on my face. “I’d love a chocolate eclair, please, cream filled.” God was I was glad Mana wasn’t here, lest she make some weird lewd comment. Damn girl could not appreciate the deliciousness that was cream filling for donuts. “So, you new around here? Or did I just miss meeting you for this whole time?”
Pinkie pie giggled as I waggled my eyebrows. “Well, I’m new here, just came as an apprentice to the Cakes. Why you asking? I mean, you must’ve seen my invite to my welcome to Pinkie party I threw Ponyville!”
I shrugged. “I saw it, but it was on a day I had work, so I couldn’t go, sadly.”
Pinkie rubbed her chin now. “Hmmm… how do I make up for that…”
I smiled “Go out with me on a date?”
She blushed a deep red. Seems she was not used to being asked out. “B-but doesn’t the mare ask out the stallion usually?”
I shrugged. “Who cares about societal norms?”
Pinkie was about to respond, but I then heard a scream of fear coming from outside and ran outside to see what it was, finding some Diamond dog assholes trying to capture some ponies, I looked to my gear screen and frowned, knowing that if I was to switch to my combat gear, I’d put my life as a blacksmith in danger, what with how the Royal Guard has been conscripting anyone who can swing a sword.
I grunted as I saw AJ and her family hiding under an overturned cart, and knew my decision was made.
I ran at the Diamond Dog forces and switched to my gear set made from the materials I bought with my own wages, nothing grand, just some steel armor and a hammer and shield. I yelled at the Diamond dogs in a loud warcry. “OI! Mutts and Bitches is all you lot are, how about you come bother someone who can fight back?!”
*Skill achieved! Battle cry: Insult and anger the enemy to keep their focus on you, can also be used to frighten and intimidate dramatically weaker enemies.
The D-dogs looked to me angrily before I readied my shield, charging into them with an enraged battlecry. The dogs quickly circled around me and sent in their soldiers first, so as to let their mages and Rogues take potshots at me from afar. I growled angrily and bashed the nearest soldier in the face with my shield, breaking his nose as I caved in the jaw of another with my hammer.
I looked to AJ’s family and shouted as I threw the D-dog with the busted jaw at a mages fireball, frying him nicely. “Why are you staying here?! GO! RUN!”
The family nodded and ran away, me using a piece of busted D-dog armor like a throwing knife to kill the mutt that went after them. “Oh no, your fight is with me, fucking inbred mongrels!”
As I fought them, I felt my power increase, I glanced to the pop up screen that flashed by, seeing that I had unlocked a class system, earning the Adventurer subclass and the bonuses of my pre selected class. I grinned and looked to the D-dogs, who had already been reduced to ten in number from their previous twenty. “COME AT ME YOU MANGY CURS! NO ONE IS GETTING HURT WHILE I’M HERE!”
There was a massive energy surge that I felt in my bones as a figure I never thought I’d meet appeared in a sizzling crater. It was Celestia, who simply looked at the Diamond dogs, and the blood all over the square, as well as the dead D-dogs, and her mane ignited. “You swore that no ponies would be taken, that was our deal, you said that you would never take slaves, and that you would simply dig for gems and hunt predators… I judge the as guilty, guilty of deceit, assault, and breaking of the treaty. I thus am within my rights as sovereign, to execute you as I see fit.” She smiled and simply raised her hand as if to snap her fingers. “So BURN.”
She snapped them, and the remaining D-dogs burned to ash from the inside out before my eyes, the very ashes being reduced to nothing by the wind.
I looked to Celestia and smiled. “Thanks for the hand, I don’t want to know what would have happened if I… well… If I let any go.”
Celestia eyed me curiously. “What’s your name, my little pony? I do not recognize you, yet you handled those Diamond dogs like a professional, helping the civilians escape while keeping the combatants focused on you.”
I shrugged. “I did what any self respecting person would do, I stood up and defended what mattered.”
Celestia raised a brow at me. “But Applejack barely even knows you, when I arrived she said that you saved her out of the blue.”
I smiled. “Just because it doesn’t matter to me, doesn’t mean it isn’t important. If I let those mongrels go, they would of either orphaned or killed AppleJack, who is part of a family that I supply tools to. Also, I just refuse to stand by while someone could get hurt.”
She nodded thoughtfully before she smiled in a slow, careful manner. “So,would you be interested in joining the guard?”
I shook my head quickly. “Not a chance, I just finished my training as a smith and got my own shop. No way I’m-”
She smirked “Guards get three times your expected wages as a smith.”
I took her hand and shook it. “Deal, when do I start training?”
She grinned as we teleported to what looked like the local barracks. “Right now!”
[Day of Nightmares Return]
I was waiting at the edge of the Everfree, my armor on and my weapons ready, I had been sharpening the edge of my twin-shield when The girls and Spike came up to us. I waved nonchalantly as I activated my voice up enchantment. “Greetings, girls. Celestia wanted us to come with.”
Twilight looked to the two of us in shock. “Th-the hands of Celestia… You two exist?!”
Rainbow dash looked to Twilight curiously. “And just who the hay are these hands of Celestia ponies? They friendly, or should I rough them up?”
Twilight grabbed Rainbow Dash by the tail with her magic and yanked her back. “If you so much as flick them, you will be putting us in grave danger.”
RD looked to her incredulously. “Whaddya mean? That guy in white looks like a pompous-”
I promptly drew my hammer and smacked a nearby boulder with it, cracking it into shrapnel that impaled the trees behind it, a whisp of the Nightmare’s mane flying away into the forest. “There was something spying on us…”
RD then looked to Mana Burst. “Ok, I see that the guy in white is tough now, but that mare looks like a strong breeze will knock her over.”
Twilight then whispered into RD’s ear about the one campaign I thought she didn’t know about. The Damascus riots. RD looked to Twilight in shock.. “That was them?! I thought The Minotaurs fought a dragon horde!”
I shook my head. “Nope, I fought their front line and commanded the soldiers as my partner here fought the mages and rogues.”
I nodded. “And my partner here, they have been responsible for the Storm king being dethroned early. I provided the distraction by fighting their armies and commanding a small band of mercs.”
RD’s eyes shrunk to pinpricks. “THAT WAS YOU TWO?! I heard about that! It was a suicide mission, but two heroes won the day, fighting the armies and the king himself! The castle is nothing but rubble now!”
Pinkie giggled. “Don’t forget the scorched earth!”
Spike nodded. “They have a sheet of heroics longer than a hydra's body. The white hand here handles most of the official fights, whereas the black hand handles the dirty jobs, some people say that her armor used to be white too, but all the ash and soot from her demo jobs has left it stained.”
RD looked to AJ and squeed. “This is so awesome! I think I found a new idol!”
AJ smirked. “And Ah think I have too, that White Hand feller seems to be stronger than a bugbear hopped up on ragevine!”
RD smiled. “Yeah, but the Black hand is so much cooler! She just blasts through all the wards put on the Storm king's castle like nothing! Not even the princesses-”
I cleared my throat. “Actually, me and a squad of Diamond dogs dug under the unicorn horn dust compacted pillars responsible for the wards. I planted enough TNT to blow the supports, and set them off as she fired, they were about weak enough that a filly could pierce the wards after I blew the wards. Not to say that she was not impressive, the Storm Kings palace was lined with dragon hide, and reinforced with special magic eating crystal. She basically overloaded the crystals to the point they exploded.”
Fluttershy was off vomiting in a bush as RD and AJ looked not too far off, with equal parts rage and hatred mixed in., meanwhile Twilight and Spike were looking to us in horror. “Please… tell me that you made that monster pay, that dark magic uses the souls of ponies as fuel…”
Mana Burst shook her head slowly, shaking with rage. I then spoke on her behalf. “No, he and his elite soldiers got away, we are still looking for him.”
She then spoke in a barely audible whisper as the words formed for them to see. “I will personally bring him to Thanatos himself to pay for his crimes.”
They gasped in shock, knowing that Thanatos’s realm, Tartarus, was used as a prison for the most elite of evils, and that was just the uppermost levels. Endless pain and suffering for the souls of the damned lay further within.
I grunted. “We’ve both been there. Thanatos makes a lovely salad. And I am still hounding him for his Brownie recipe.”
Pinkie looked to me with a gaze that was equal parts caution and curiosity. I immediately got what the look meant, she was wondering if she should tell the girls who I was, and if I was doing that for her. I shook my head just slightly enough for her to notice, then said. “Someone I love very much deserves that recipe.”
Fluttershy was looking at us fearfully, most likely due to the fact that we were being equated to a horde of dragons in destructive capability, I decided to stop the gossiping right then. “We have work to do.”
As I turned to Mana burst, I motioned for her to follow me, “We know a shortcut, it’s less safe, so we will be going with just us two, we’ll hold the moon bitch off your backs, just get to the castle, okay?”
Twilight looked to us in surprise. “Your not coming with us?”
“No. We are going to keep her busy, you six get the elements.”
Mana Burst smiled and the words. “Age before beauty” appeared before her, to which I snorted and cuffed her in the shoulder.
As our two groups parted, I looked to Mana burst. “Teleport away, oh partner mine.”
Mana rolled her eyes before teleporting us to the castle, I looked ahead to find Nightmare Moon was… eating some sort of pastry? “...What the fuck?”
Nightmare looked to us passively as I frowned at her level. It was at the cap. Depending on her reclasses, we could be in DEEP shit. “And what, pray tell, are you two doing here? Come to avenge your tyrant princess?”
Mana smirked as she sent a volley out from behind me, Nightmare ducking and weaving them like they were barely moving for her. “Nah, I’m just here to kick your ass, and maybe save the world.”
As I looked to nightmare Moon, I had to admit, she was damn sexy, but she had nothing on Pinkie.”Personally, we both love the night way more than the day, buuuut… the sun keeps life on the planet possible. So… yeah, gonna have to fight ya.”
Nightmare moon scoffed as she grabbed one of Mana Bursts arrows, snapping it like a twig. “Like we should listen to Celestia's pawns. Come then! Face us as true warriors!”
I quickly drew my Twin-shield and hammer before I stepped in front of Mana, taking the first hit from Nightmare, which was a large blast of dark energy. I smirked and replied with a flame augmented light ball straight for her ribs, sending hr sliding back few feet. Now, if I had known that her dress was not fireproof like her body, I may have reconsidered.
As it was, we were now fighting a night fixated goddes who also happened to be buck naked. “P-PERVERSE WRETCHES! WE SHALL ENJOY CRUSHING THEE UNDERHOOF!”
I grunted as I blocked another blow to the shield. “Sorry, not a hoof man.. Some help would do wonders pard!.”
Mana burst teleported behind the loony lunar-bitch and slammed a drill of pure mana augmented with light energy into her back, but barely even scratched her enough for a flesh wound.
Mana huffed. “I know this is rich coming from me, but your powers are bullshit!”
I grunted as I looked to Nightmare Moon, who was looking rather… peckish, what with the fact that she was looking at my provisions sack at my belt. “...You want my food?”
She suddenly nodded, dismissing all that happened like a happy puppy. I smirked. “Sit.”
She flopped into a chair she summoned from shadows.
Mana burst was busy cussing up a storm as I formulated a plan, realizing that this was a POSSESSED Luna, who had spent a thousand years without food. “Have a biscuit.” I pulled out one of Pinkies chocolate overload cookies, before tossing it to her.
She ate it like she had just discovered what food was.

I smirked at the pop up I got, as Mana burst redoubled her cussing. “This is Bullshit! Total, fucking, bullshit! The first enemy I could not bulldoze, and you do THIS to ME?!”
I then thought a moment, before taking out another biscuit, this one made with peanut butter. “Now get out of the nice moon mare, and roll over!”
As the nightmare symbiote leapt from Luna, I tossed it the biscuit, it smacking its lips after snapping it up, as Mana Burst snapped herself. “THAT’S IT! GOODBYE CASTLE!”
I quickly slug Mana in the jaw hard enough to knock her out. I drag her over to the side and sit there with the unconscious mares and the now friendly symbiote pupper. Did I mention the Nightmare Symbiote acted like a dog?
...It really did.
I looked up to see that Celestia was coming down from above, and smiled down kindly. “I knew you could do it, Twi-Wait what?”
I smile at her. “Hiya, I think Twilights across the bridge, if I timed it right. I also have a plan to awaken the Elements for later, don’t worry, but could you teleport Mana burst outside the castle? I need it to look like they were beaten by the nightmare.”
Celestia frowned and did as I asked. “What is your plan?”
I grinned. “I take the Nightmare symbiote into myself, and they use the elements on me, after i augment the Symbiote so that the Elements don’t kill it.”
Celestia's frown deepened. “Why would you save the symbiote?! It is evil!”
I smirked. “I tamed it.”
She deadpanned. The dead in her Pan, was INTENSE. “You tamed it. You… TAMED...it?”
I nodded, before kneeling and picking up the symbiote in my hands, it wagging its rear like a tail and even making a distorted arfing sound. Celestie massaged her temples and sighed. “And you knocked out the two of them… why?”
I shrugged. “I think the separation without the Elements knocked her out, and mana wanted to blow the place sky high.”
She nodded sagely. “Right… she was denied a fight and threw a tantrum… I don’t know why I suspected anything else...” She then sighed and shrugged. “Okay, I’ll leave it to you.”
I nodded and looked to the symbiote, smiling. “Join with daddy, little buddy!”
The symbiote arfed happily before diving into my chest, my armor taking a darkened, Venom-like appearance. I began practicing my evil laugh as I thought out the plan, sending it to my Symbiote, who I will now name Squishy.
I could feel Squishy enjoyed the name, and smirked as the mane six, with Spike replacing Rarity in the group.
I smirked and began to spasm erratically like the Taken from Destiny. I then utilized Squishy’s voice distortion to speak in an extra unnerving manner. “Night… Last… Eternal…”
Fluttershy and Pinkie looked to me in shock as I winced internally, regretting that I had to lie to them. I looked to them and forced a realistic chuckle as I stomped on one of the elements on the ground, specifically Laughter. “No more struggle, my dears, let the dark seep in!”
Twilight looked to her friends and frowned. “No, you might destroy the physical bodies of the Elements, but their spirits live on, in us! The Loyalty to stay with your friends, no matter the hardships, the Honesty to lead your friends down the right path as you share Laughter to keep the sorrow at bay!” As she said this, Pinkie, RD, and AJ levitated into the air, their elements forming.
“The Kindness to forgive our sins, the Generosity to help those in need, and the Magic that ties them all together! WE WILL SAVE YOU, JUST AS YOU SAVED THOSE DEAR TO US!”
At that, the rest of them levitated into the air, their eyes overtaken by a white light as I was frozen to the spot by an unseen force, as they blasted me, I moved Squishy to my inventory, safe from the blast of rainbows.
I then got a pop up, stating that I had finally finished a quest that I had since coming to this realm.
*Elements of Harmony Awoken, mission complete! Side objectives complete: Tame the Nightmare, rise in influence, defend equestria.
Reward #1: Guardian of the Elements unlocked. Now are linked to the force of Harmony, along with Mana Burst, allowing you greater access to your gamer skills, levels of I.D. create and escape past ten unlocked. Calculating… I.D. create/escape reached level 20.
Blacksmithing and Augment skills cross mutate, Sage smithing unlocked: now can inlay arcane runes into smithing projects.
Reward #2: Nightmare Symbiote is now a pet, will gain experience in battle and grow stronger as it accompanies you, loyalty unshakeable.
Reward #3: Can now summon guard regiment: You can outfit and train your own personal guard regiments, and call them to your position magically. These will be counted as Denizens of the world, or as a gamer would call them, NPC’s.
Reward #4: Flight spell unlocked, now capable of soaring in the sky like your pegasus brethren, but without those pesky wing boners!

I smirked as I looked over my rewards, only for my attention to be recaptured by the six mares, who were looking to me anxiously. I nodded “Well done, my services here are no longer needed-”
Pinkie threw a large rock at my helm, making a loud gong. “Not so fast mister! Take that helm off right now, or so help me I will tear it off!”
I paled and quickly reached for my helmet, knowing that Pinkie and clothes removal was a recipe for disaster. “Alright! Alright!” I removed my helmet, only for the girls and Spike to gasp in shock.
“FURY FORGE?! It was you?! What about being the town blacksmith?!” Fluttershy said, as I rubbed the back of my head.
I smiled sheepishly “I MAY have hired all those part timers for my vacations as a ruse.”
Twilight and Spike froze for a second. “Wait… if you are the white hand of Celestia… then the black hand outside must be…”
I nodded “Yeah, pretty much, had to knock them out so that my plan could go off without a hitch, they got mad about the fight being so quick, and kinda….wanted to blow up the castle.”
Twilight Deadpanned. “I am cutting their candy privileges. FOR A WEEK!”
I en let out Squishy, who had taken the form of a goopy little puppy. “Also, I think I tamed the nightmare symbiote. Had to fake being possessed so that you’d awaken the Elements.”
Fluttershy and Pinkie looked to me in hurt shock. “Y-you lied to us?”
I sighed. “Yes, but it was for a good reason. You all need the elements, it will be a major need in the future. Let’s just say that some certain prisoners are getting a bit… antsy.”
Mana Burst walked in with a huff. “You better let me have a magical Slugfest with the next guy.”
I smirked, knowing of the pony holiday. “You mean that spring holiday?”
“No you bastard!” She frowned and folded her arms. “I meant I want to legitimately fight the next bad guy!”
Fluttershy frowned at squishy. “What does he eat?”
I frowned. “Squishy is a she, I thought.”
Squishy then sent out a thought wave to me, apparently the link between us is magical, who knew. “Squishy has no gender, is goo.”
I then relayed this to Fluttershy, who then nodded slowly, deep in thought as Luna woke up.
Mana Burst fumed with her eye twitching “Stop ignoring me...or I swear to Faust, I will go-”
I wrapped up Mana Burst in a surprise bear hug and shook her side to side. “Relax buddy, the day is saved! And I promise, next big baddie we face, you get to fight.”
Fluttershy then paled. “W-wait… NEXT?!”
Mana Burst was about to speak in her sage voice, when Squishy whimpered and thought at her. “Squishy get hugs? Squishy want be friends.”
Celestia then appeared in the room and looked at Squishy in horror. “THIS WAS YOUR PLAN?!” She looked to me in rage. “That thing corrupted my sister!”
Mana Burst frowned. “I am fairly certain Squishy is like a symbiote, they amplify everything you give them, including emotions.”
Squishy nodded sadly with a whimper. “Was baby, not knew was doing bad... super sorry…”
Celestia froze. “Wait, this… this is squishy speaking?”
Squishy nodded. “Momma Luna make me learn how talk! She sleepy when landed, said she have to lek ture aunty Celly! Say that she was making a friend, and sissy overreact, cause look scary!”
Celestia paled considerably as she looked to her immortal sister, who had spent a thousand years on the moon due to her jumping the gun, and was just waking up, “Hide me. Please.”
I shook my head “No can do boss, I can’t get between you and yer sister, Especially seeing as how I have her baby in my arms.” I froze then, looking to Pinkie. “I didn’t make it though!”
Pinkie shrugged. “Eh, I figured that, I mean, you did say you were going to marry me before ya popped my cherry.”
As everyone blushed at that, Celestia looked to Mana Burst and made a puppy dog face. “Free chocolate if you hide me?”
Mana burst looked pensive as she weighed her options. “Up it to free chocolate for life, and you have a deal.”
She frowned but nodded as Luna yawned and sat up, Mana Burst opening her inventory and cramming Celestia into it before she could open her eyes.
I sighed, and as Luna looked to me questioningly, reached into our SHARED inventory and pulled out Celestia, depositing her at her feet, As Celestia looked to me like a traitor, I grinned “I made no such deal, and Mana Burst DID hide you, so you are out a ton of chocolate, AND stuck with an angry Luna.”
As Mana Burst started to water at the mouth, I chuckled as Celestia sprinted for her life after casting a paralysis spell on Luna. “LIFE FOR THE COWARDLY!”
I then mixed a speed potion and paralysis cure in a cup before feeding it to Luna. She then promptly tackled Celly and grabbed her by the wings and tail. She said something about... “Mashed Alfalfa for every meal, for a week.
Mana Burst frowns. “Overkill?”
Luna shakes her head. “No, I can keep her looking fit for suitors, I just have to sugar the alfalfa to obscene levels.”
Celestia cries out. “SAVE ME!!!”
I grin. “Make sure to use lemon as well.”
Mana Burst then adds. “And cast anti sweetening spells on the alfalfa.”
Celestia then cries out “WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!”
I grinned “Payback for all those games of strip poker you forced me to play! I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PLAY POKER!”
She frowned. “Remember that mission you sent me on? I’m a demolitions and assassination expert… NOT SOME FLIRTY FLOOZY FOR BLUEBLOOD!”
Celestia then paled as Fluttershy leveled her STARE at her, and Pinkie simply began flexing her hands menacingly. “What did she do?” They asked in unison with disturbing grins.
I smiled at Twilight, who was certainly experiencing a .exe crash. I simply poked her in the eye gently. “OW! What was that for?!”
I grinned “I want you to enjoy this next part.”
I pulled a bullhorn from my inventory and shouted into it “ACTION!” Right as I did that, the mares present that had relationships to us all Tackled Celestia, before they teleported to what I assume was canterlot. I then clapped my hands “Bravo! Such righteous justice! Such poetry! I might just cry!”
