Sunset left and got back on the boat heading across the lake, he entered a cave with a blue lantern. She collected some goodies and sold some treasure to the merchant before, she then heads through a couple of doors to see an Alicorn's face on the moon.

As soon as she exited she saw a villager standing there, she grimaced as the villager’s head exploded as some strange parasite popped out of the stump. It stuck out a blade protruding from a long fleshy appendage, Sunset blew it away with her rifle “Well this just keeps getting better and better.”

She then headed through, taking out a village on a high platform. After she collected everything on the platform, she shot down a few chained boxes allowing her access across the dam. She looked at a lever and looked to the waterfall rushing nearby, she pulled the leaver which caused the waterfall to vanish, she then heard the sound of villagers running towards the dam.

Sunset ran over and was able to stop all of them from crossing with multiple shots from her pistol. She then leapt across collecting an amber ring on the way, she found an insignia that looked like it would fit in the church door, she then headed through a set of double doors.

She then got on a boat where she returned to the merchant’s shop, she sold the ring and continued on only to see a bunch of villagers trying to hold a door closed but they ultimately failed as a huge bipedal monstrosity emerged. It killed the villagers and turned it’s eyes on Sunset, Sunset heard a voice in her head “Be careful.”

Sunset didn’t notice but her irises were now a dull red. The huge beast rushed at her but she dodged in a rapid blur she tore the beast legs as it ran past before firing several rifle shots and then to dodge as it’s swung. She then jumped onto it’s head firing multiple shotgun shells into it’s face, then a huge parasite emerged from it’s back. Sunset grabbed the parasite and ripped it out of the creatures back, the beast then collapsed dead on the ground.

The voice from earlier let out a sigh of relief “Thank goodness it is dead.”

Sunset growled “Who are you and where are you hiding?!”

Sunset was pulled into her mind to see a green pegasi pony with a dark blue mane, a parasite similar to what popped out of the villagers heads on her flanks, she smiled “My name is Stormwind and I’m a Plaga Parasite. one of those that out of everypony’s heads. I inhabit your body!”

Sunset’s eyes widened “You mean I am going to end up like them!”

Stormwind shook her head “No, you see I am like this because your metal skeletal structure is made of bio-metal and integrated me into your system. It makes you faster and stronger as well as having a greater reaction time, also if you focus you can sense Plagas within others and once I mature control those infected with submissive Plagas while being immune to domination from others with the dominant strain but you can still be controlled while immature.”

Sunset frowned “I see.”

Stormwind frowned “For now we should focus on rescuing Cadence.” Sunset nodded as she left the mindscape, Sunset collected everything in the area including the gold the beast left behind.

Sunset then left the massive area through a set double doors re-entering the area around the church. Stormwind commented “There are a few Plagas infested dogs up ahead, they are called Colmillos and they aren’t strong they are fast.”

Sunset raised an eyebrow “How do you know that?”

Stormwind rolled her eyes “We Plagas know every form we can take, it’s in our biological manifold. If we didn’t we would mutate uncontrollably killing out host, your best bet would be your shotgun.” Sunset ran forward, the dogs had tentacles coming out of their back. She quickly took the three Colmillos and then headed to the church.

Sunset then placed the emblem on the door and it opened, she collected everything on the bottom floor before heading upstairs. She hopped onto the Chandelier using her magic to steady it so she could jump over to the other side, she tried to open the door to nearby door only to find it was locked. She turned around to see a strange machine, controlling three pieces of glass on a window pane, one blue, one green and one red.

After rotating them each a few times she heard a lock open as the panes merged into one. She then headed towards the door and opened it to see a Pink Princess in the corner, she shouted “Cadence!”

Cadence shivered in fear “Sunset, why did they bring you here, to torment me.”

Sunset shook her head “I’m hear to save you, I’m sorry for how much of a bitch I’ve been to you but I’m not like that anymore” her eyes flashed red and she grimaced as she saw a Plagas inside Cadence “You have been infected with a parasite, I need to find a way to cure and then I can return you home. Maybe when we get back I can get to know my cousin better.”

Cadence frowned “What do you mean by that?’

Sunset sighed “Look you may not believe me so I can get Celestia to clear it up with you once we return.”

Cadence smiled widely “Can you take me to her?”

Sunset grimaced “I must safely get the parasite out of you first, then we can return home.”

Cadence slumped “I understand.”

The two exit the room only to see a strange Earth Pony in a cloak with several other cloaked ponies holding crossbows. The Earth Pony stallion moved forward “I am, Master Illuminados and I’ll take the Princess off your hooves.”

Sunset raised a claw “Fuck off asshole!” She grabbed Cadence and jumped through a window, she quickly grabbed everything and frowned “Come on Cadence we need to go.”

Sunset got a call “How’s the search going?’

Sunset frowned “Hunnigan, I have located Cadence but she has been infected by a parasite. I have to find a way to remove it safely before she returns home.”

Hunnigan nodded “Very well, we have a chopper ready to extract you just in case.”

Sunset grimaced “Keep it out of sight, better yet tell them to fall back. The locals are very hostile and may have unknown armaments.”

Hunnigan sighed “Will do, just now you will need to find your own way back.”

Sunset turned off her communicator and turned to Cadence with a smile “Are you okay?”

Cadence nodded “I’ll be alright but how will we deal with them.” Sunset got out her pistol shooting a cart which set on fire as it headed down the path demolishing several villagers. Cadence gasped “You killed them!”

Sunset grimaced “It’s what I’m trained for, Special Operatives are trained not to hesitate. We are called in to do what the regular force can’t do and we always works in pairs or alone.” Cadence gulped as she followed behind Sunset as she cleared out the rest of the villagers.

The pair then headed through the underground caverns, once they arrived back in the village a few villagers were there but Sunset cleared them out quickly. Cadence carefully followed Sunset as she cleared out bear traps, they entered the farm Sunset looked at a red container “Hide here Cadence while I clear out the area, there could be more villagers here.”

Cadence nodded as she got in, happy to not see any more killing that faded quickly as however as she heard the sound of gunshots a as well as screams. Sunset returned telling her the coast was the clear, Cadence followed Sunset towards a door which Sunset simply leapt over before opening it from the other side allowing Cadence in.

They met up with a merchant, Sunset gathered some upgrades and headed forward as they were about to move past a cabin they saw that villagers were swarming in mass from either side. Sunset frowned “Let’s go into the cabin.”

Cadence nodded “I agree.”

As soon as the pair entered Elmina pointed a gun at them before sighing as he lowered it “Thought you were one of those freaks.”

Sunset’s eyes glowed red “We have Plagas in us as I’m sure you know so let’s cut to the chase my Plagas is fine but hers needed removing.”

Stormwind them piped up as Sunset’s eyes glowed green “I’m Stormwind, Sunset’s Plagas I’m here to help.”

Sunset grimaced as the red replaced the green “I didn’t know you could talk!”

Cadence growled “Sunset, why you didn’t tell me you had a Plagas in you?!”

Sunset frowned “Would you have trusted me if I had? I am trying to help that hasn’t changed and we have bigger problems such as the villagers outside.”

Elmina grimaced “We better board up the building and hold out in here.”

Sunset jumped out the window “You do that, I’ll have them all dead soon enough don’t worry.”

Before Cadence or Elmina could ask any further questions Sunset ran towards the villagers, Elmina shrugged “You heard the mare.”

Cadence growled as he pushed one cupboard in front of a window “What if she dies out there, do you even care?!”

Elmina shook his head “Have more faith, Special Operatives are trained to take out far greater numbers than that. Plus she has a Plagas that is powering her up without causing any trouble for her mental state. I can feel something about her Plagas it is different, more stable and more powerful she’ll be fine.”

Elmina finished pushing cupboards he beckoned her upstairs “Come, let’s see Sunset defeat those bastards.” Cadence looked worried at what she would see as she followed him, the two looked out the window to see Sunset moving so fast she was nothing more than a blur as blood exploded left and right as she tore through the crowd.

Within minutes Sunset her coat soaked with blood was standing in front of pile of corpses.The corpses dissolved as did the blood soaked into her coat, Cadence and Elmina flew down Elmina frowned “I have to get something to help Princess Cadence, in the meantime you should keep going. Just be careful of what’s ahead.”

Sunset and Cadence nodded as the two groups parted ways, Sunset and Cadence arrived at a switch. Stormwind frowned “To the left there is multiple Plagas and to the right is one large Plagas, which way should we go?”

Sunset turned the switch right “One enemy is a lot more predictable than many especially since we have to escort somepony.”

Cadence pouted “I can defend myself.”

Sunset frowned “Not against these enemies, they are really strong and they swarm. Look my duty is to keep you safe and while you are an Alicorn you are the Princess of Love. You live to spread love throughout the land, I live to fight and kill it is my way.” The two entered the area to see another of massive beasts Sunset fought earlier.

Stormwind frowned “By the way those are called El Gigante and they are incredibly physically strong…” (Wait what are you doing?) Sunset had taken control of her body and ran toward the El Gigante, she leapt onto it’s head and ripped it’s eyes out before placing a grenade in it’s eye socket she than ran onto it’s back as the explosion happened a huge parasite emerged from it’s back which Sunset ripped out with ease.

Sunset jumped down with a shrug “Those creatures are not all that, just cause some damage and their toast.”

Cadence frowned “Why don’t you use you magic, you have an enormous reserve of it.”

Sunset grimaced “Powerful magic requires time to prepare, in a big fight I prefer reliability over power.” They continue on arriving near a merchant where Sunset collected everything, she frowned as looked at retinal scanner “We’re not getting through here without a retinal scan hmm.”

Cadence sighed “We need to find another way forward then.”

Sunset frowned “Indeed.” The headed to what appeared to be a cable care station, as they board and headed down villagers started jumping on board, Cadence cowered in a corner Sunset quickly shot the villagers and they arrived at the other end.

Cadence grimaced “I am getting and less sympathetic to these villagers every time they attack us” she turned to Sunset “Is that a bad thing?”

Sunset shook her head “Not in the slightest.” The continued on, Sunset upgraded her weapons at the merchant and then the pair headed towards a strange barn.

Stormwind grimaced “There is a dominant species Plagas in there, Cadence should stay out of there.”

Cadence sighed “I’ll be waiting here, just be careful Sunset” she smiled “You have changed a lot became a better pony than I ever thought you could be.”

Sunset smiled as she entered the barn. She coughed “Urghh is this Slaughterhouse? Urghh I thought all of these were destroyed after the pony-griffon war.”

She dodged an one hooved swing, she turned around to see the Earth pony Villager leader towering over her. She kicked a drum of gas over and then shot it causing it to explode in flames, Sunset grimaced “Who placed a hydrogen drum in here?!”

She stood up only to see the mutated village leader, Sunset runs her eyes glowing red. She tears his body in half before ripping his fake eye out and the crushing his skull, she then collected everything in the room before punching through a part of the Slaughterhouse. She then approached Cadence with the fake eye “This is our ticket out of here.”

Cadence nodded “Let’s go back to the scanner then.” They returned to the scanner and opened the door. Cadence sighed as they headed toward the Ganados “More of these idiots.” Soon a massive truck with a villager began driving towards them taking out all villagers, Sunset shot the villager driving the truck with her rifle and the truck flipped over stopping on the ground.

Sunset frowned “Come on Cadence let’s get moving.” After collected everything in the area they arrived at a drawbridge in front of an ancient castle, they lowered the drawbridge unaware of what else lay in store for them.

I made this chapter longer as the story was going to stay here forever plus ss I can't put up chapters as often I would like them to be longer if possible.
