Sunset frowned as they looked around the castle, she picked up her communicator as it buzzed. Hunnigan frowned “Sunset, where are you?”

Sunset grimaced “We are in a castle that belongs to Los Illuminados, I’ll communicate with you soon.”

Hunnigan nodded “Alright Sun…”

Sunset put her communicator away and turned to Cadence “I believe our communication with Equestria has been compromised, we are on our own now.”

Cadence grimaced “Well that’s just great!”

Sunset grimaced “Indeed.” The two moved on to see the merchant, after collecting some more money Sunset bought a larger attache case upgrade. She then bought Riot Gun, Blacktail and Semi-Automatic Rifle while selling her Shotgun, Pistol and Rifle to make space.

Sunset and Cadence then moved on picking up some rifle ammo up on the way, Sunset sniped a few cultists Ganados wearing black robes. Just as they moved forward, an explosion bombarded the area. Sunset glared at the catapults, after several minutes they had cleared out the area of Cultists and collected the treasure within the area.

Sunset frowned as she looked at an ancient cannon, she turned to Cadence “Help get this thing ready, if you don’t mind.”

Cadence frowned as she helped “What are we doing with this?”

Sunset smiled as they fired the cannon at the door “That.” Cadence nodded and the pair continued on, picking up a platinum sword as well as a few other goodies. They headed upstairs and clear out some Cultists, then more cultists come from downstairs after clearing them out and dealing with a higher ranked cultist in a red robe they head into another room.

They bump into Elmina “Sunset.”

Sunset sighed “Well it’s good to see a friendly face.”

Elmina grimaced as he felt his bags “Shit, I dropped the medicine I needed to give you to slow down the Plagas infection of your Princess friend.”

Cadence smiled “Me and Sunset can go with you?’

Elmina shook his head “It would be best if I go alone, they could track your Plagas.” After Elmina ran off, the pair cleared out the rest of the enemies in the area. They then used a gate key to head into a finely designed room with a balcony on it, a short finely dressed unicorn looked at them with a coy grin as his two mutant guards stood beside him “Well I was wondering when you wander through here.”

Sunset frowned “Who are you anyway?’

The unicorn grinned wickedly “I am Master Castellan, the 8th Castellan of magnificent architecture. Master Illuminados has honoured me with great power, it’s pleasure to welcome my breathin.”

Sunset growled “I am no family of yours, you Naponean look-a-like!”

Castellan laughed “You’ll be one of us soon.” He then left with his two bodyguards.

Sunset shrugged “Let’s ignore that pathetic fool and move on.”

Cadence grimaced “Agreed, these ponies have a few screw loose.” After ward they collect everything around including a prison key which they use to get in the prison.

Sunset sees an armoured Ganado with parasite on it’s back she sneaks down and kills it. She then pulled a switch and they move into another room, they head back upstairs into a corridor with flame-throwers as well as a few cultists. They clear out the room and move on, only to clear out more cultists. After several more battles with cultists as well as turning some cranks.

They enter a strange room only for a hook to grab Cadence bringing her to a wall which then several spikes rise between Sunset and Cadence as a set of metal restraints pin her to the wall and then wall flips around. Sunset grimaced “Shit!”

Sunset continues on ignoring her buzzing communicator. She had through a door killing several bug like mutants as well as collecting some items. After she drains the water she heads through several more area full of the bug mutants and Ganados. She then meets with Castellan “You know your cultists aren’t all that.”

Castellan grinned “We’ll see.” Sunset shrugged as she took out his cultists not long after he left with his guards.

Stormwind sighed “This is boring.”

Sunset frowned “Where have you been?’

Stormwind shrugged “I wasn’t needed you’re just killing more dumb cultists, even that guy over there won’t be a challenge. I am maturing quite quickly.”

Sunset smiled “Well that’s good, now let’s clear out the rest of this place and rescue Cadence” Sunset then grimaced “Why does this feel like a recurring theme?’

Stormwind shrugged “I don’t know.” Sunset continued through taking out more Cultists as well as collecting a Goat Ornament and other treasures in the area. Sunset then found herself looking through a maze, she cleared out all the wolves as well collecting a lot of treasure including two halves of a Moonstone.

As soon as she entered she felt a gun put to her back “Put your hands where I can see them.”

Sunset sighed “So we are doing this now?” She turned around quickly twisting the Draconequus’ arm the wrong way only to dodge a kick and pulled out her knife putting Hidden’s neck before she could catch her gun “Knives work better in close quarters, try it sometime.”

Sunset took the gun “So, you survived. I thought you had died, you were a friend and the next time we meet you put a gun to my back.”

Hidden sighed “I thought you would attack me since you know who I’m working with, so I decided to attack first.”

Sunset frowned “Look, I don’t care you work for Badass Sunglasses. Boulder Puncher would but I am not him, I have a mission as do you. I will stay out of your way and you will stay out of my way. That way we will have no problems, we can have a nice chat in Canterlot later after this is all over.

Hidden nodded “Will do, see you Sunset.” Sunset turned around to continue her search for Cadence as Hidden jumped out the window. Sunset then collected everything in the room, She headed into a room to see the Merchant, she sold a bunch of treasure and upgraded her weapons.

Sunset went through a few rooms, she shot a wine glass and a room opened. She headed into the room and approached the chest. A cage dropped down along with several Cultists as well as another armoured Ganado with a parasite on the back. After clearing them out and grabbing the treasure in the chest she moved on.

She blew off a cultists head off only for a strange bug to pop out she then blew it off and it the bug ran at her, she shot “New Plagas type huh, neat.” She cleared out a few more rooms picking up a rocket launcher as she went. She then entered another room of the merchant where she got a bigger Attache Case.

She then headed through a room only to see Elmina run through holding a syringe “I got I, S…”

Sunset’s eyes widened as a huge tentacle pieced through his body, Master Illuminados moved forward taking the Syringe he was holding. Sunset growled “Illuminados.”

Illuminados shrugged “I assure you, Castellan will bring you the same fate.”

Sunset ran over to Elmina “Stay with me, I can heal you.”

Elmina shook his head “His parasite has poisoned my body with a toxin that will prevent magical healing” he coughed up blood as he gave her some medicine “these will slow you friend infection.”

Sunset screamed as Elmina gave his last breath “Elmina!” She stood up growling “Illuminados, you will pay!”

She stormed over to the centre of the room in rage when she heard a familiar voice call out “Help!” She looked down to see Cadence being held back by metal bars, she pulled out her rifle and shot the metal bars, Cadence smiled “Thanks, Sunset I can’t wait to get out of here.”

Sunset shouted “Cadence, watch out.” She lined up her rifle shooting at some of the Cultists.

Cadence growled “I’m sick of all this shit!” Cadence went into a mad rage killing any Cultists who got close before bursting through a set of doors.

A minute or two later Cadence burst out on the upper floor “Killing these bastards is cathartic.” She met up with Sunset, she gives her a Serpent Emblem “Take this, I believe it is important.”

Sunset smiled “You did well Cadence.”

Cadence blushed slightly “Thanks, I don’t get complimented that often.”

Sunset nodded “You’re welcome, now let’s get moving.” The two went back to some the areas and collected some items including a powerful magnum handgun, the Broken Butterfly. They then collected a Lion ornament and a bunch of other goodies while killing multiple groups of cultists.

They enter a door on the left to end up in a room with spikes on the roof, Castellan grinned “Let’s see if you can survive this?”

Soon the spikes start falling only for Sunset to shoot the four glowing gems “Is that the best you got, Naponean?!” Castellan scurried away in fear, Cadence entered the next room first only for the door to seal as a drill machine comes for Ashley, Sunset shoots both drivers and the door opens.

They grab a Queen’s grail and then head into another room where they slay several armoured knights with Plagas in them. They then used both grails to open a door and after passing through a hallway ten they end up in a large room where ten bug mutants sweep up Cadence while another twenty attack Sunset. Sunset cleared them out only so see Cadence, she grimaced “Fantastic!”

Sunset then shot down a nest full of goodies, she then lowered a bridge which jammed, a few gunshots got it down. She then pulled out a pair of binoculars only to see Cadence being taken into a castle by Castellan, Sunset growled “Shit!”

After clearing out several groups of enemies and taking everything she could from the area, she entered a fancy room to see Castellan while his two massive servants had two spears in front of Cadence. Sunset growled “Return Cadence to my side!”

Castellan laughed as he pulled a lever “Don’t you know when to quit?” Sunset frowned as she dropped down to see a pit of sharp rocks over an underground area, Sunset rolled her eyes as her horn glowed “It’s like he doesn’t know I’m a powerful unicorn.” With a flash of light she appeared next to the rocks, she then shot a Bell which rung in Castellan’s ear.

A few moments later Sunset picked up her communicator, Castellan grinned “You are quite adept Miss Shimmer but now that I have sent my right hand after you, your time in this world is a end.”

Sunset joked “Your right hand comes off?” Sunset chuckled as she put away her communicator. A massive ground based bug mutant then attacked Sunset, Stormwind grimaced (Be careful that is a Verdugo, they are incredibly…)

Sunset’s eyes glowed red and with one mighty swing she tore the beast in half “You were saying?”

Stormwind looked over their body “We’re stronger than I expected, wow.” They took the Crown Jewel it left behind and left. She then headed into a series of underground caves, she took out all the villagers in the caves including one with a chainsaw. Then using dynamite she entered what appeared to be a giant forge where two giants similar to the ones she fought earlier.

She pulled opened the flaming pit in the centre with her magic and then levitated the two hulking beasts into it without a word. She then fought several more bug mutants before teleporting past some traps, collecting the Royal Insignia and after combining it with the Crown jewel and crown to make the Illuminados family crown she headed to the surface.

She then took a mob of villagers guarded a locked shutter which had a message about a sacrifice on it, she then entered a tunnel clearing out several villagers including two with chainsaws. She then took a key to the mine, she had a series of long battles she gets a stone of sacrifice which she sued to access a lift heading back to the castle.

She entered a cathedral looking area and after a clearing the area of cultists as well as pulling a few switches a door opens. As she heads towards a giant statue of Castellan starts chasing her, she mused as she ran “It seems Castellan really hates the fact he’s short, hmm maybe I should tease some more with so he makes a mistake.”

She then escaped the building across a bridge only to confront Salazar and his one remaining body guard, Castellan grinned “It’s pleasure to see you again Miss Shimmer.”

Sunset frowned as she threw her knife into his hoof “Well the feeling is not mutual!” The remaining Verdugo guard threw the knife back at Sunset only for her to catch it in her claws.

Sunset grimaced as the little stallion ran off with his large bodyguard behind him, Sunset then cleared the entire area quickly before jumping on another lift, she then headed up another lift passed by a merchant, she entered a room to see Castellan “You friend has been taken to an island, as for you it all ends here.”

Castellan merged with his minion and a huge monstrous Plagas, Sunset grimaced “At least with him down, there will be one less monster in the world.” She out a few sniper shots in the extended Verdugo face’s eye, which then revealed Castellan as it’s core which Sunset fired her rocket launcher at killing the beast one and for all.

She then headed over to this platform acquire some more funds, she descended using yet another lift to see Hidden Image on a motorboat “I know where the island is, I have my own business there and I have room for another passenger.’

Sunset smiled “Thanks Hidden.”

Hidden nodded “If you end up getting a syringe from Saddler, I need it. Elmina was supposed to retrieve it for me.”

Sunset nodded “Elmina died trying to get it to you, very well for a our shared friend.” The two remained silent for the rest of the trip.
