The boat arrived on the island Sunset and Hidden got off on a large rocky beach, Hidden smiled “Wish you luck.”

Sunset nodded “I wish you the same, good luck in you mission as well.” Hidden nodded as she fired a grappling hook scaling the cliff.

As soon as she got onto the island she saw two Ganados wearing combat vests and carrying proper weapons, Sunset frowned “Combatants huh, so these guys do have a military.” She quickly killed the pair before shooting out a search light. After shooting she emerged to see a massive combatant with a gatling gun, she shot him five times in the head with her rifle bringing him down.

She then killed a few more combatants, she looked up to see several combatants escorting Cadence somewhere. She entered the room and after a light based mirror puzzle Sunset then ventured along more crags lit up by the mirrors killing combatants as she went. Collecting a golden Lynx treasure as she went, she then upgraded her gear at the merchant.

She then entered the research facility, she then cleared out several hordes of Combatants, she collected the Red Stone of Faith and moved onward. She entered a strange operating room full of machines, she past a room with a strange grey creature on the table.

She entered another room with a few dead combatants and a Plagas on it. She grabbed a key card only for they grey creature to knock down the door, Stormwind grimaced “Activate your powers!” Sunset’s eyes glowed red and she could actually see there were parasite in it’s body, she took three shots with her rifle killing the parasite and the beast collapsed onto the floor dead still. She then headed out only to see two similar beasts, she took them out in a similar manner to the first, she then entered a crane control room only to see combatants entering through the crane area, she picked up the combatants with the crane and dropped into a hole.

She then headed forward hearing Cadence screaming but the door was barred. She then headed into another room, it was similar to the other grey creatures but had metal spikes in it. She shot the three parasite but it kept moving, she frowned as she shot it in the leg and saw a final parasite which after shooting the creature gave up.

Sunset then used the key card to enter the room, Cadence turned around only to wrap Sunset in a hug “I’m glad to see you again, those bugs were icky and I never want to be captured by bugs again.”

Sunset smiled “Looks like I have to teach some self defence skills when you return.”

Cadence smiled back “I would like that.”

Just then a parer aeroplane bumped into Sunset’s head, she picked it up to, it read

I have discovered there is a waste disposal vent, you can use that to escape.

Sunset smiled “Looks like we have our way out.”

The two headed to the waste disposal vent, Cadence grimaced “Do we have to go down there?’

Sunset grinned “Yes.”

Sunset pulled her hoof and the two dropped into the hole. Sunset landed on both claws, Cadence shirked as she landed on a spiky thing “Ow.”

Sunset turned around and quickly pulled Cadence of the creature before it could move and ignited it with a simple fireball “That was close, those things are nasty.” After heed through the area taking out another one of the grey creatures, they then enter a room full of lava with a wrecking ball and a door blocked with a boulder.

Sunset frowned as they approached a control room Sunset then heard the sound of Combatants, Sunset turned to Cadence “Can you operate the wrecking ball while I handle these idiots.”

Cadence smiled “I’m on it.” A few minutes later after all the combatants were cleared and the boulder removed, the pair headed through a door only for Sunset to clear out two more grey monsters.

Then the two of them opened a shutter to see a large bulldozer, Cadence smiled “I know how to operate one of these, my parents had one of these on the farm.” Cadence jumped in turning the machine on, Sunset jumped on the machine only to here Combatants shouting. She repelled two trucks and hordes of combatants until a truck slammed into the bulldozer knocking it over.

Sunset and Cadence entered the room, only to see Master Illuminados standing there. Sunset roared her eyes glowing red only for him to lift his hand forcing her to the ground, he then grinned as she forced Cadence to follow him. Sunset cast a small tacking spell on Cadence and stood up after he left, Stormwind growled “A thirty more minutes and we would have been immune to his control, fuck!”

Sunset frowned “It’s not your fault, we’ll get her back and kill that bastard. We need to save Cadence.” Sunset then entered the next room and took out a group of combatants.

Sunset frowned as she entered a room only to dodge a knife swung a her, she looked up to see a familiar Pegasi “Hellion Spark, I thought you were dead!”

Hellion frowned “It’s been a long time comrade, you heard I died in a carriage crash two years back.”

Sunset’s eyes widened as she joined the dots “You were the one who kidnapped Cadence… you were my partner you bastard. I mourned you, I will make you pay!” Her eyes glowed red as she rushed at him, but her speed far exceed his partially due to the Stormwind but also due partially due to her heritage. He was barely able to block each swing with his own knife.

She then knocks the knife away and puts the knife to his neck “Are you ready to…”

Hidden frowned “Sunset, I know he has pissed you off but he is of use to my mission so could you not kill him?”

Sunset scowled at him “It’s your lucky day, Hellion.”

Hidden grimaced as Sunset left the room “I was worried I would find you two fighting but then I come to find you totally outclassed. You were supposed to claim the dominant Plagas, not mess around with Sunset!”

Sunset gets a call on her communicator, she frowned as Illuminados spoke “Enjoy the reunion with your friend.”

Sunset frowned “I thought he was dead, turns out he was just a dick.”

Illuminados laughed “Quite, you have done marvellously thus far. In truth you have impressed me, there are a few more challenges before you can fight at my side.” Sunset end the call as she continues on navigating her way past a laser trap, once she enters fine room with a throne in it, she then acquire an Elegant Headdress and continues on.

Sunset then presses a button on the back of the throne and descend down a lift, she then visits the merchant in a massive underground cave upgrading her weapons, she then arrived at the edge of a large cliff overseeing a large floating rig full of crates. She then gets on a cable car only for something to pull the cable care causing her to fall onto the rig below.

She frowned as a huge beast, the lower half like a bug while the upper half more like a pony with a long tongue sticking out of it’s mouth. She fired several bullets into it, then ran around activating two switches causing the section of the rig to become unstable and not long after she got onto the second part of the rig the first part fell into the darkness.

Sunset did the same with the next two parts of the rig, she then jumped on a metal wire and climbed up it as the massive beast fell with the rig. Sunset got off and approached a door only to for the creature to re-emerge with a pair of giant claws on it’s back.

Sunset fired multiple shots with her Broken Butterfly while keeping away from the beast eventually laying it to rest. After collecting everything in the area, she then arrived at a lift taking her to a location with a ladder. She climbed up only to face combatants next to a barrel which she blew up, killing them all.

She then grabbed a blue gem and combined it with the Golden Lynx, she then headed up a ladder and kept going until she saw Hellion sanding there. Sunset growled “Where’s Cadence?!”

Hellion glared at Sunset “Behind that door, but you need three Insignias to open it, one is to the north, one is to the east.”

Sunset growled “An you hold the last one, so be it! Let’s end this!” Hellion started shooting his machine pistol a her but her eyes glowed red as she dodged his gun fire while putting bullets back into him. After various battle, Sunset had collected both a snake Insignia and a goat Insignia. She headed into a tower past some drones, she got to the roof only to see Hellion standing there with a massive mutated leg, Sunset growled “Come down and face me!”

Sunset dodged as Hellion leapt down slamming his mutated leg into the floor where his opponent once stood, Hellion then turned around and rushed at Sunset. She caught his mutated leg and ripped it off with ease, Sunset then grabbed his head with a growl “Die traitor!” She ripped his head off and grabbed the final Insignia, she then returned to the door opening it with the Insignia.

As she headed through she got a message on her communicator, Illuminados grinned “I must thank you, in truth I was meaning to dispose of him.”

Sunset frowned “I’m beginning to understand you, you are cautious and calculating. You knew how flimsy his allegiance was and kept a cautious eye on him” she then grinned “You know it’s too bad you’re my enemy, I have a feeling in a different life we would be good friends.”

Illuminados chuckled “Agreed you are a fantastic adversary, you Plagas has matured now which means you are beyond my control. I am eager to see which one of us will be victorious.”

Sunset growled “I’m still upset about Elmina, he was a good friend!”

Illuminados laughed “You know we worked together, in fact he was friend of mine as well. His death weighs on me even now, I can’t afford to show it as I lead this I must show conviction in everything I do. I await you soon.”

Sunset ended the call, she then approached a fort taking out the combatant guards and moving past with ease. She then bumped into Hidden, Hidden frowned “Are you okay?”

Sunset nodded “I’m fine my mission has been rough.”

Hidden grimaced “Mine too.”

Sunset frowned “Look I really don’t have much time left, so I got to go.” Sunset burst into a run, she then takes out a one of the grey monsters and after managing to open a set of double doors she found herself in a room with Cadence in a machine.

Illuminados stood in front of the pod “I see you came for here” Illuminados shrugged as she stepped aside “take her and then meet me up on the roof where we can decide the future of this world.”

Sunset held out a hoof, Illuminados nodded as he held out his hoof as well and the two shook hooves. Sunset frowned as she took Cadence with her “See you up there.”

Illuminados nodded as he looked up to see a glimpse of a mismatched creature “I have to deal with a nuisance.”

Sunset nodded as she left the room, Cadence woke up as they headed into a lab. After picking up some notes and blueprint stuffing them into her case around her neck, she smiled “I believe this will remove the Plagas parasite from your body.”

Cadence smiled “I trust you Sunset.” Cadence laid on the table as she was strapped in, Sunset activated the machine Cadence gritted her teeth as electricity coursed through her body, Sunset watched until the Plagas eventually died on the screen. Cadence got up “That fucking hurt!”

Sunset nodded “Now it’s time I take out Illuminados, I made him a promise to have out final confrontation on the roof.”

Cadence nodded “Bring him down Sunset.”

They exited to see a large elevator which Sunset boarded, Sunset emerged to see Hidden Image hanging with a rope tied around her waist. Illuminados frowned “My apologies but she was snooping, feel free to cut the rope.”

Sunset cut the rope off, Hidden grimaced “Thanks Sunset.”

Sunset turned to her “Don’t interfere, this is between me and Illuminados.”

Illuminados grinned as it began to rain thunder striking the ground “Today we decided the fate of the world!” His body began to deform as a huge eyeball appeared in his mouth and four massive legs emerged stomping onto the floor.

Hidden dissapeared as Sunset rushed at Illuminados , dodging his legs while shooting his body. Soon an eyeball opened and Sunset jumped onto it tearing into with her claws, Illuminados monstrous form couldn’t handle the assault and collapsed. Illuminados’ battered pony form smiled “Thank you for keeping you word, I may have failed but I can die happy knowing I gave my ideals everything I had, wish you a good life.”

His body dissolved into a puddle, Sunset picked up a vial. Hidden jumped down, Sunset frowned “I should destroy this but for the sake of Elmina take it. Make sure it ends up in good hooves.”

Hidden nodded taking the Dominant Plagas as she passed him some keys “I will, I have rigged this island to blow because we can’t have anyone else find out what they have here. These key operate a jet-ski which you can use to get off this island.”

Sunset smiled “Thanks Hidden.” She ran off as Hidden hopped on her own transport which flew off into the distance.

Sunset jumped down the not even bothering to use the elevator, she turned to Cadence “We need to go, the island is going to blow!”

Cadence’s eyes widened “Then let’s go!” The tow mare moved as fat ad they could and got on a the jet-ski. Sunset jetting out of there, dodging the falling rocks.

Cadence groaned “I’m just glad that’s over.”

Stormwind piped up “Agreed, I can’t wait to see the world off that island.”

Sunset smiled a Cadence “I better get you home safe.” A chopper hovered over them shouting “That was a good show!” The two climbed onto the chopper that headed back to Canterlot.

As soon as they got off, Sunset frowned “Where’s Princess Celestia?”

Raven was standing there, she sighed “Ever since you left she has been worried sick, she has left her room to do anything other than raise the sun.”

Cadence blinked “Auntie would never do that, she is too responsible.”

Sunset grimaced “Raven, Cadence and I must see her.”

Raven nodded guiding the pair to Celestia’s room, the two entered to see Celestia sobbing on the bed. She then wailed “I’ve lost my niece and now I’ve lost my daughter as well!”

Sunset nodded to Raven as she cast a soundproofing spell, she then slowly got on the bed and wrapped her front legs around Celestia “Mum, I’m home.”

Sunset let go to allow Celestia to turn around Celestia began to weep “I was so worried, why do you have to keep putting yourself in danger like this?”

Sunset smiled weakly “I have a duty to protect Equestria, I am on this road now. It’s what you taught me and took me a long time to understand it.”

Cadence coughed “Um excuse me but I’m confused, what’s going on?”

Celestia dried her tears with a small smile as levitated a photograph of an orange unicorn filly “This is my foal, do you know who this is?”

Cadence blinked in shock and confusion but then as the seeds of realisation were panted in her mind, she looked between Sunset and the picture her eyes widened “You’re Auntie’s daughter!”

Sunset smiled “I’m sorry for treating you so badly for so many years, I’m happy to call you cousin if you’d have me.”

Cadence smiled “I be happy to have you as a cousin.” The three ponies hugged, each filled with joy at being united.
