Sunset yawned as she felt the sunrise, she felt a wing wrapped around her. Sunset carefully used her magic to remove Cloud Kicker’s wing and after a quite shower as well as a small meal. She exited the house with her saddlebags, she saw a yellow filly with a red mane that’s counterpart in many worlds would have been her greatest tormentor.

The filly smiled “Mah name is Apple Bloom, Mah sister sent me to find ya. Ah’ll show ya the way to Sweet Apple Acres.”

Sunset raised an eyebrow “I’m guessing your sister is Applejack, right?”

Apple Bloom nodded with a smile “Yes she is the best sister ever. Come on she’ll be mad if we’re late.” Sunset chuckled as ran after the filly who galloped away, her eyes widened as she saw the huge fields of Apple trees in every direction.

Apple Bloom ran over to Applejack “I brought her!”

Applejack smiled “Good work Apple Bloom” she turned to Sunset “It’s good to see you, are ya ready for some hard work?”

Sunset smiled “Yes, I’m no strange to working hard.”

Applejack let out a small chuckle “Good, if you weren’t ready ya wouldn’t be much help here. Now Ah’m going to teach ya how to apple buck.”

The two approached Apple tree, Apple Bloom eagerly ran over and placed a bucket under the tree. Sunset carefully analysed every aspect of Applejack as she reared back and slammed her hooves a faint glow of green moving into the tree and then all the apples on the tree glowed with green energy for a split second before they fell into the bucket. Sunset grinned “That was impressive, can I have a go?!”

Applejack moved over to another tree “Sunset, this one is a young tree so go ahead. Just remember don’t use too much strength or else you’ll damage the tree.”

Sunset walked to the tree and lowered her upper body to the ground. She took a deep breath before letting out a cry “Hiya!” Her hooves slammed into the tree the apples glowed full of green energy and flew into the bucket. Applejack and Apple Bloom’s eyes widened as the tree the shot up doubling in height in a instant reaching the height of the other trees.

Applejack blinked “Um how did you do that?”

Sunset frowned “Well I can tell you the how but don’t ask why I can, it’s personal to my family.”

Applejack frowned “I understand, family is important.”

Sunset smiled “Okay well the reason Earth Ponies like yourselves are so good at farming is because you have your won special type of magic that connects you to the land. I have magic like that too for family reasons.”

Applejack nodded before smiling as she turned “Apple Bloom, do ya think ya can provide enough baskets for the both of us.”

Apple Bloom grinned “Ah can do that, don’t worry about it.”

Applejack turned to Sunset “Let’s get started!”

Sunset grinned “Let’s compete, whoever bucks the most trees is the winner.” The two didn’t need any more words as their eyes met each other in challenge. They began bucking trees left and right, they were so caught up in their little competition neither of them noticed the rainbow maned pegasus fall out of a tree.

Rainbow Dash frowned as she flew up “Applejack, why did you…” Her jaw dropped as she saw the ponies moving form on tree to another as Apple Bloom was barely keeping up with two apple bucking machines running through the orchid.

The two got to the end, Applejack panted “Ah got one…more than you.”

Sunset who was also panting “It was pretty…close all the…way through, that was tough.”

Rainbow flew over with a grin “That was awesome, I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Sunset took a deep breath earlier “I’m sorry about how harsh I when we first met, I just have seen so much fighting and death. With the stuff that the Wonderbolts do one wrong move means death, I was worried with your cocky attitude you would end getting them killed.”

Rainbow grinned “It’s no problem, in fact you helped I am not really good at the whole thinking thing but you got me to think about my actions.I hope to see you again soon."

Applejack shook her head “She was probably napping in one of tree we bucked, anyway Ah think we should go inside and have some food.”

Sunset frowned as she saw Apple Bloom fast asleep on the ground, she stood up on her hind legs and lifted the little filly snoring softly in her forelegs “I believe we pushed her too hard, she needs some rest.”

Applejack smiled “Ah’ll introduce you to the family, come on follow me.” Sunset and Applejack headed towards a large red barn-building.

Applejack entered with a smile, Sunset blinked as she saw the massive red Earth Pony stallion. Applejack turned to her with a wry grin “Ya surprised that Big Mac is so large, it’s not surprising most ponies are the first time.”

Sunset nodded “I have not seen a stallion not mutated by something large be that big, he could topple some of the monster’s I’ve fought with his sheer bulk.”

Granny Smith called out “Can one of ya help me set the table, food will be ready soon.”

Applejack nodded “Ah’m coming Granny Smith.” Sunset sat there and after the food was ready she spent the rest of the day with the Apple family before heading to Cloud’s place to rest.
