Sunset woke up the next morning, this time Cloud Kicker was already up. Cloud smiled “So how did yesterday go with Apples?”

Sunset brushing off the least bit of sleep turned to her “Good, they are very kind I even got to make with Rainbow Dash.”

Cloud let out a sigh of relief “That’s good I…”

She was both interrupted by a knock on the door, Sunset trotted to the door to see a purple dragon panting “I’m sorry, I overslept and couldn’t come with you.”

Sunset smiled as she gave Spike a hug “It’s okay Spike, you’re still a growing dragon and that means you need to rest. Now I think I should take us out for breakfast, I’ll be back later today Cloud.”

Cloud nodded “That’s okay” she then gave her a coy grin “Maybe we can have some fun tonight?” Sunset blushed as she left her current residence, while Spike had confused look on his face.

He was about to ask what that meant when his eyes as he saw, at least in his eyes the most beautiful thing in the world. A mare with a white coat and a perfectly styled purple mane, his jaw dropped in awe. Sunset, not noticing her companion’s obvious infatuation frowned “Rarity, are you here to debate with me about my stance on Canterlot.”

Rarity shook her head with a sigh “I took some time to think about what you said, I have been so obsessed with the dream of marrying a prince. I have always adored the thought of living the life of a noble, that the thought of what the truth was hurt.”

Sunset shook her head “We should always value the truth over a well crafted lie, because eventually that lie will break and bring us down.”

Rarity nodded “You are right, you are wiser than I am” she then asked “Do you mind if I get some measurements so I can make you a dress, I have fitted quite a few other ponies before. Pinkie has a few of mine as does Fluttershy but I have tried to get Rainbow Dash and Applejack to try but neither are interested.”

Sunset shrugged “Sure, you can can take my measurements.” She then frowned “Well for Applejack, design something hardy and tough. It must have pockets to store tools that she can use for her farmwork, something that can draw out her natural beauty while still being functional. As for Rainbow Dash it must be flashy and over the top while being tight and streamlined, she flies often so it has to reduce drag as much as possible.”

Rarity eyes widened “You have only known them for a few days and were able to discover what would work for them so quickly. We can talk more at the boutique.”

Sunset grabbed the lovestruck dragon in her magic as she ran after the galloping unicorn. They entered the Boutique, Rarity took a deep breath as she collapsed on her couch “Maybe I overdid it” she then looked at Sunset who was not even winded “How are you not tired?!”

Sunset shrugged “I’ve been trained to be stronger than most unicorns, in fact I gave Applejack a run for her money on the farm.”

Rarity blinked “Wow…” she shook he head as she forced herself to her hooves “I believe I need to take you measurements, can you stand up here for a second.” Sunset shrugged nonchalantly as she stepped up onto the stand, she turned to Spike “Do you mind helping her?”

Spike smiled widely “Sure!” He turned to Rarity, Rarity smiled as she have him a list of items she needed, he ran off eagerly.

Rarity smiled as the young dragon began supplying her with materials, her horn glowed as she began giving Sunset measurements. Rarity asked “So I’m curious do you have ideas for what you would like to wear?’

Sunset nodded “I would like two leather jackets, one brown and one black. I hope the use of animal hide doesn’t bother you.”

Rarity frowned “While it’s not something I would use commonly, it give the rough and tumble look that I assume a pony like you would find desirable. It may take me a while but with these measurements I could come up with something.”

Sunset smiled “Thanks.” It took twenty minutes but soon they were finished, before Sunset was able to leave her ear swivelled as she heard a faint knock on the door “It seems you have a guest.”

Rarity opened the door to see butterscotch mare smiling meekly “Um it’s our Spa Day, am I disturbing something?”

Rarity smiled “Fluttershy, you aren’t bothering me at all. I had just finished up Sunset’s measurements.”

Sunset asked “Do you mind if I join you, I must admit I would like to know more about you two?”

Rarity smiled "I’m sure that would be okay, right Fluttershy?” Fluttershy squeaked as she hid from the unicorn. Her eyes widened however as she saw Spike and flew past the two of them began bombarding him with questions about himself.

Sunset smiled as she levitated Spike onto her back and the group of four headed to the Ponyville Spa the sound of the excited chatter of Spike and Fluttershy filled the air. As soon as they reached the Spa, Sunset frowned “Spike can I trust you to return to Cloud’s place without getting into trouble?’

Spike saluted “You have my word.” He ran off as the three entered the building, Rarity smiled “Aloe, Lotus we brought a guest.”

Aloe smiled “I see, so would you like to have us do?”

Sunset looked lost, Rarity smiled “How about we start with a horn filing, then a massage followed by some time in the spa room?” Sunset simply nodded uncertain of what to do, they were lead to a series of chairs.

Sunset asked “So, Fluttershy what do you do most of the day?”

Fluttershy whispered nervously “Well I am Ponyville’s animal caretaker, a lot of ponies come to me for animal related problems.”

Sunset smiled as another mare entered and began to file her horn“Impressive, it must take a lot of work to become that good at dealing with animals.” After the horn filing they were lead, to a few table Aloe was taking care of Rarity while Lotus was massaging Fluttershy.

A third mare entered, Lotus gestured to the third Earth Pony “This is our cousin, Lavender Essence.”

Lavender smiled “It’s pleasure to meet you all, now I must get to work.” She began massaging Sunset who moaned as Lavender’s skilled hooves began to hunt down all the knots. Lavender raised an eyebrow “I have never met a unicorn with this much muscle nor this many knots. I know hard working Earth Ponies who are not this built.”

Sunset frowned “I have been trained to defend Equestria, by myself if necessary.” Lavender smiled as she continued the massage, the group after massage entered the spa room to relax and unwind.

Sunset frowned as she turned to Rarity “There is something I want to ask, you know how I am living with Cloud right? “ Rarity nodded, Sunset sighed “Do you know any restaurants that would be suitable for a date?”

Rarities eyes widened “You’re going on a date with Cloud, wow um I’m not sure how that’s going to go she always has been loose and…”

Fluttershy let out a low growl “That’s not fair Rarity and you know it! Cloud may be a little more liberal than you or I but that it is not our place to judge, not to mention our friend here is going on a date with here and wants our advice!” She then smiled at Sunset “My advice is the Shining Soiree, it is a fairly quiet place perfect for a date and doesn’t require a reservation.” Sunset smiled as she soaked herself in the spa thinking of her date tomorrow.
