Chapter 7: Celestia's Decision

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Celestia frowned as doctors were carrying the ponies out on a stretcher, Spec Op Spark was standing there while Captain Mist had just returned. Captain Mist looked she was about to tear into Sunset but as soon she opened her mouth, Celestia frowned she didn’t like to play on the fears of her ponies but this was an one of the exceptions “I hope you’re not planning on blaming this on my student, are you?!”

Captain Mist froze“I’m sorry Princess but she did injure all of my trainees so bad that they are going to be in hospital for months.”

Celestia grimaced “I believe that is my fault, I failed to account for my students mental state. In fact due to that you are going to teach her personally, she clearly is not capable of traning with others. And if I hear even a whisper, a rumour of you being overly aggressive to my student you’ll learn why I earned the title Solar Fury, do I make myself clear?!”

Captain Mist gulped “Crystal.”

Celestia nodded “Good, now I have somewhere to take Sunset it’s important and she will be back tomorrow for training.”

Sunset looked up to Celestia “I’m sorry but…”

Celestia frowned “No it was my fault for not paying enough attention.” She then smiled “As for where we’re going, well I believe it’s time to meet the stallion who sired you.”

Sunset blinked “Really?” Celestia nodded with a smile, the two got into a carriage with four Pegasi guards at the front, Sunset frowned “What is he like?”

Celestia giggled “I didn’t know him for more than a heated evening of passion, in truth this is as much for me as it is for you.” The carriage landed in front of a quaint light blue wooden building with a bright red tiled roof, Celestia and Sunset trotted towards the door , Celestia knocked on it with her hoof.

The door was opened by a light green Earth Pony who bowed “Princess Celestia, it’s an honour to meet you.”

Celestia shook her head “This is a personal matter, I an here to speak to Sunshine Doo and his family.”

The mare shuddered slightly then took a deep breath and smiled “Tremor Doo at your service, my husband is this way. Also our daughter will be paying us a visit later.”

Celestia smiled “It will be fine.”

With that the two ponies entered the house, Sunshine Doo’s eyes widened as Celestia and Sunset were sitting across from his wife Celestia grinned coyly “I’m sure you told your wife about your escapades?”

Tremor raised an eyebrow “What does she mean?”

Sunshine rubbed the back of his head “Well remember when I told you that Princess summoned me to her room during heat season?”

Celestia laughed “That was a fun.”

Tremor’s eyes widened “That really happened..”

Celestia grinned “Yes and I popped out a little bundle of joy, meet your step-daughter Sunset Shimmer.”

Sunshine’s eyes widened “You had a foal with me...”

Celestia giggled “Yes, I was in heat after all.”

Just then they heard the door open, they heard a raspy voice “I’m home dad, I’ve had a long day.” A pegasus mare wearing a helmet with three holes in it her mane multiple shades of gray and she was wearing a green jacket.

She trotted and bowed in awe “Princess Celestia.”

Celestia shook her head “Relax, no need for formalities you’re family, it’s a pleasure to meet you what’s your name?”

The mare smiled nervously “Daring Doo…” she then blinked “wait family!”

Sunset smiled holding out a hoof “Well it’s a pleasure to meet my half-sister, I’m Sunset Shimmer. Princess Celestia is my birth mother and your father is also my father, I know it’s a lot to take in.”

Daring looked at her father as shivered “Is this true?”

Sunshine smiled “It is my daughter, it was a big surprise to me as well. I had no idea it had happened either.”

Celestia rubbed the back of her head “Well, that is kind of my fault. I hid my pregnancy and put her up for adoption, it was not ideal but I did not have the time to raise a foal, it was mere happenstance that allowed us to meet again as she was incredibly magically gifted filly and thus became my personal student.”

Sunset shrugged “I am kind of glad she did, I had ego issues for years just for being her student. If I was told I was her daughter earlier, it would have been disastrous.”

Sunshine frowned “Does she have a job other than being you student?’

Sunset frowned “I was going to be an Officer of the Law but after Squirrel City, I’m undergoing Spec Op training so I’ll be quite busy.”

Daring Doo grinned “Maybe I’ll send you a message if I end up in any real serious trouble, adventuring is quite dangerous you know.”

Sunset gave a mock bow “I’d be honoured.” The family laughed as they each other’s company for the rest of the day.
