Dear Diary,

You'll never guess what me and Twilight have just found out. Seems Shining Armor and Cadance are gonna have a foal! Yeah, I know, I couldn't believe it when I heard about it either. But there it is. Don't know when the little one is going to arrive, but I can't even begin to say how excited I am! And if you think I'm looking forward to this, you should see Twilight. The look on her face was just so perfect for the moment that somepony should have it framed and put on their wall or something. Then again, when you learn you're about to become an Aunt, I guess the reaction's pretty appropriate.

Still, I'm definitely happy for the two of them. I hope that, whenever their baby arrives, it brings them nothing but happiness. Oh, listen to me now, getting all sentimental again. But hey, I can't help it, at least not at a time like this. I wonder if it'll be a colt or a filly? Well, either way, I'm sure everypony in the family will just fawn and gush over it like there was no tomorrow. I k now I certainly plan to!.

Oh, and there was also a lot of stuff involving Pinkie acting weird because she found out ahead of everypony else and was trying to keep it a secret, but hey, the important thing is that she didn't spoil it for us, because this news was just way too good for that!
