Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

The creepiest night of the year has come to us once more. Nightmare Night! No sign of Princess Luna this time, but hey, I'm sure she's busy scaring other ponies tonight, so I take comfort in the knowledge that, somewhere out there in Equestria, somepony's getting the living daylights spooked out of them. Oh, and speaking of being spooked, seems Fluttershy has an unexpected talent for it. She arranged this big old thing for all of us to get scared in, and wouldn't you know it, she actually succeeded! I don't remember the last time I've was that terrified! There were screams, running for our lives, it was horrific!

So yeah, I never thought I'd ever say this, but Fluttershy is one of the best scarers we've ever known! At least, she was, until she learned that this night isn't really for her, She just didn't like scaring us as much has she did, even though she was good at it. I can understand, and hey, we're not gonna force her to take part in this. But boy oh boy, I'm gonna remember this Nightmare Night for the rest of my life!

Still, I hope she's having fun with whatever else she wants to do tonight. She deserves it.
