Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, I got the whole castle to myself. And by now you're probably guessing why. Yep, Twilight's out of town. Specifically, she's out with Fluttershy on a friendship mission. That's right, she finally got her wish and has been sent out on one of these missions for the first time since they started! I hope she and Fluttershy manage to do whatever the table wants them to do, because unfortunately, the thing can't speak to be more clear about it. Well, I guess I can safely say that with certainty since, while I was alone with it, I actually started talking to it to see if it talked back. Please don't tell anypony I did that!

Anyway, with me all by myself, I've got some work to do. Twilight ordered in a whole load of new books for her library, and I've gotta try and get them where they need to go, all while reorganising several books that were strewn about the last time Rainbow came over. I know she loves a good adventure story, but does she really have to make such a mess while she's reading them?

Ugh, anyways, this is work I can probably do blindfolded at this point, so I doubt it'll take too long. Catch you later, Diary.
