Dear Diary,

We all knew she would come back one day, and now she has. Starlight Glimmer. Oh, I know I haven't talked about her before, but she was the one responsible for the first friendship mission Twilight and the others were sent on. Anyways, she came back and used some super-old magic to go back in time and mess with history so Twilight and her friends never met one another. Me and Twilight followed her, but every time we tried, we failed, getting sent back to the present. And what's worse, every change made back then created this terrible alternate history where all the bad guys we've stopped actually won! There was Chrysalis, Sombra, Tirek, you name it!

Thankfully, after going back and forth who knows how many times, we managed to show Starlight just how damaging her actions were, and after another tense moment, Twilight was able to talk her down and convince her to stop doing what she was doing. We all came back to the present, and after a long talk, Twilight's decided to take Starlight on as an apprentice. I know, it's a pretty dangerous thing, given her actions, but if Twilight is willing to trust her, then I will too. So, let's see, that's Luna, Discord, Sunset Shimmer and now Starlight we can add to the list of friends who once tried to doom us.

Oh, and speaking of Sunset, Twilight got another message from her after we came back, so she charged back through the mirror to help with whatever was needed. It was a pretty short trip though, and Twilight was back quickly afterwards. But I gotta say, she looked like she'd just seen a ghost. Whatever she saw over there, I think it'll take a while before she's ready to talk about it.
