Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Not everyone has relatives that are perfect. Everypony knows it, and we all accept it to one degree or another. But geez, Fluttershy's brother Zephyr has taken that to a whole new level! I was warned beforehand that he might not be the easiest stallion to get along with, but I did not know just how little I was gonna get on with him. We gave him some simple work, and what happened? That's right, I did all the work! And it seems we're not the only ones who had a hard time with him, as this has been going on all over Ponyville.

Look, I like Fluttershy, I do, but she really needs to get a handle on that guy. Oh boy, how anypony could be that much of a jerk while being related to a mare as nice as Fluttershy I'll never know! Ugh, calm down, Spike. Just breathe. This is Fluttershy's brother, her family, and you need to get a hold of yourself. She loves him, so there must be something decent about him. It might be hard to see...really, really hard to see, but it's probably there all the same.

All I know after this is that I really hope Fluttershy manages to find something for this guy to do, because there's only so much this town can tolerate.
