Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, Twilight and Starlight were able to use their combined magic to get the Cutie Map working again. Yeah, you might recall that I haven't talked about it in a while, but it seems that when Starlight used her nasty time travel spell, it messed the table up. But now it's working again, and what do you know, there's missions waiting for them. Who knows how long they've been waiting to be heard like this, but the mares have already gone. Specifically it's Rarity and Pinkie, and they've been sent to Canterlot. Not sure what they're gonna find over there, but I wish them luck with it.

As for me, I've got some cooking to do. You see, Rarity recently gave me a gift, this old cookbook her Mother once gave her. It has all these tasty-sounding recipes in it, and I'm pretty eager to get started with them, Not sure what I'll do, but I think I'll try something spicy. I've never done something like that before, so I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out. And hey, if Twilight and Starlight say its was hot enough to burn their mouths as they ate it, I guess we can put that one down as a "maybe" in future.
