Dear Diary,

Today, I get the day off, so I'm spending it out here in the lovely Sugar Cube Corner. They've got this new milkshake they've been wanting to try out, and as the helpful dragon that I am, I couldn't wait to offer my humble services to taste it. And let me tell you, it's one of the nicest things I've tasted in a long while. I really wish I can learn to make something like this one day, because this is just way too good to not be made again and again. I suspect Pinkie had a hoof in it, given how sweet the thing tastes, and if so, remind me to thank her for it later.

It's been pretty quiet here in Ponyville today, and really the only thing worth talking about is how Rainbow went over to this Daring Do convention. I like the books, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I could ever go to one of those things. Days on end with nothing but other fans, talking about the same thing. Hey, if they like it, more power to them, but it's just not for me. I'm much happier just sitting back and enjoying a milkshake thank you.

And speaking of which, my stomach is telling me that one wasn't enough, so it's back to the counter I go.
