Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

You know how the Crusaders usually have problems here and there with their older sisters? Well, this time it was the sisters' turn to get on the nerves. Seems the local Derby stirred up some rather competitive feelings among the older mares, and all of them basically took control over the Crusaders' respective projects for making carts. The whole thing ended up as a disaster, and the Crusaders gave their elders a stern telling off. It's always hard to see family squabble like that, but I can't really say that I blame them for being upset.

Now, I like Rarity and Applejack and Rainbow, but they were kinda being overly-controlling. This was supposed to be a fun time for the kids, but it ended up as anything but fun. Thankfully, they all recognised that and ended up helping the Crusaders in the way they actually wanted. So yeah, all's well that ends well. I'm no racer, but that actually looked like a pretty neat race to go through from up here on my little hill.

Here's hoping we have fewer disasters next year this happens.
