Dear Diary,

Today I got a letter from my good buddy Thorax. Now, I'm normally pretty stoked to hear from him, but it seems he's been having some hard times over at the hive. Turns out that he has a brother, and more than that it's a brother who's not the easiest to get along with. Apparently, he was one of the drones Thorax tried to talk with me about during his last visit to Ponyville. The ones refusing to accept the new ways. Now, most Changelings have accepted it now because of Thorax's firmer stance, but looks like this brother of his isn't budging. I can understand. I imagine Ember ad a hard time bringing other dragons in line when she said they weren't supposed to be enemies of ponies anymore.

Still, I wish Thorax would have sent me this letter sooner than he did, because Starlight and Trixie have only just left to go and visit him themselves. I would have warned them that they might meet this brother of his. Still, perhaps I shouldn't be too worried. Starlight's pretty powerful, so chances are she can handle herself if she comes across him. I wish he and thorax would be better at seeing eye to eye though, because I don't like that my friend is having trouble in his own family.

Guess I'll just have to keep an ear out for how this goes for him.
