Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, I accomplished something I honestly never thought I would. I became the sibling supreme! That's right, the contest that me, Twilight and Shining have been waging since we were kids, and I finally won! Oh, I can't tell you how good it feels to finally get this crown, but it was no small thing, believe me. It took a lot of luck, as well as some help from a certain Princess, to pull it off. But at the end, I finally got it, and more importantly, I got something I've been wanting right along with it. Twilight and Shining looking to me as more than just the funny little dragon who's been living with them all this time. I'm family, and a valued part of that family too. I can't even remember the last time I felt this happy.

But it wasn't as if the day was all successful. There were plenty of hiccups, at least on everypony else's side of things. Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, they all had their problems here and there, but if I'm being totally honest here, it was actually kinda funny to watch. Me and Luna even had a good long talk about it over some tea when it was all done, and let me tell you, she laughed so hard when I told her all the stuff that went on today. It's nice to be able to spend some time with her. She's pretty cool when you get to know her.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a shiny new crown that needs polishing.
