Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today was really special for us, because Princess Celestia actually came over for a visit! No big occasion or serious business, just her coming over and spending time with everypony. Twilight was thrilled of course, but, as usual, she couldn't help but get overly-stressed about the whole thing. Celestia probably knew that, but she was just too happy to just be there and enjoying her time with us all. It was great catching up with her. I don't think I've been able to have a proper talk with her for ages. Oh, and let's not forget the spread. There was loads of great food put out for her, and Mr and Mrs Cake really gave it their all.

That's not to say there weren't problems though. I hear Fluttershy actually took Celestia's pet bird to her home without asking. I know the thing looked kinda sick...okay really sick, but still, she really should've asked first. And given all the commotion I heard across town I'm guessing the bird was more trouble than she was expecting. Twilight came back to the library recently, and I've gotta say, she looks exhausted. I don't know what she went through, but she probably doesn't wanna talk about it. Maybe I'll make her some tea, get her to relax a bit. She'll like that after a day like today.
