Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, Rainbow Dash had a bit of a problem. You see, she got involved with doing some heroic stuff earlier, and the praise sort of went to her head. She started doing stuff all over town to try and recapture that feeling, but after a while the ponies just started getting tired of it. In the middle of all this, there was a new hero on the scene. The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. A bit of a mouthful, I know, so let's call her Mystery for short. Anyways, Mystery started getting all the praise, and Rainbow got really jealous of her, so she started going after her.

Then, at the end of it all, it turns out Mystery was actually our friends! Yes, all of them! Seemed they got just as tired of Rainbow trying to act like a hero this whole time, so they tried to bring her down a peg. It was quite a scoop! Oh, that reminds me, I was acting as an awesome reporter the whole time, but nopony wanted to buy my newspaper. I guess it would probably have helped if I'd made more than just one page per issue. But hey, you live and learn, right?

Still, all this superhero stuff makes me want to read the latest Power Ponies issue. It should be coming out soon. Hehe, wonder what it'd be like if Twilight and the others were superheroes? That's be something.
