Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, disaster struck Ponyville! Applejack, after going to take part in a rodeo over in Canterlot, has just sent a message saying that she's not coming back home! Nopony knows what's going on, so Twilight and the others have gone over to find out what happened to her. I hope nothing bad happened. Everypony's really worried about her, especially her family. I went over to see if I could maybe cheer them up, but they were all so sad that nothing I could say to them had any effect. Apple Bloom was on the verge of crying the whole time I was there. It was next to impossible not to feel as bad as they did during all that.

I really hope Twilight and the others can find her okay. Ponyville just isn't the same without Applejack in it, and her family even more so. Still, something weird is up with her, I'm sure of it. Applejack loves her home, and her family too. She wouldn't just up and abandon it unless something really bad had happened. Oh, now look at me, now I'm getting myself worked up again. I need to calm down. Twilight can fix this. She always fixes these things. I have to have faith that she can sort this out.
