Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Rainbow Dash had a bit of trouble today. An old friend of hers came to Ponyville to visit. At first, things were really good, but then there was some trouble. Most of us didn't notice it, but then things kind of exploded when Pinkie Pie threw a party for her. She just yelled at all of us, and it really hurt. It was only after when we learned what she'd been doing around town. I was shocked that someone like that could be friends with a pony like Rainbow. But I guess people change, and maybe Gilda used to be different when she and Rainbow were younger.

But, that's not the only thing to happen recently. Seems Rainbow and Pinkie decided that it'd be a good idea to start pranking people, and I was one of them. I couldn't stop hiccuping for hours after they were done with me. I really hope none of those scrolls ended up anywhere bad, I'd never hear the end of it.

So yeah, it's been kind of a rough day for everypony. But I'm glad Rainbow and Pinkie are happy again. And the party went pretty well too. I had a lot of fun with it, but I should probably expect that of Pinkie's parties by this point.
