SoarinDash Shorts : Family

2 months later....

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was sitting on the living room couch next to Soarin, and we were trying to decide names for the twins. I was now officially pregnant for 11 months, my stomach had already reached its full size, babies would only have a few weeks to be born. And I was still a little nervous about all this, of course this was going to be a big change in my life, but luckily Soarin is always there to support me, saying that everything would be all right.

"Well I think .... Raindrop Dash and Junior Dash would be great for our little girls" I said, rubbing my stomach on the couch softly.

"They're good names but .... I was thinking about Speedy Skies and Sora Dash" Soarin said

"They're great choices, too, but I prefer Junior Dash, that would be a great name for our little baby" I said.

"Dash Junior? Seriously Dashie?"

"Are you disagreeing with me?"

"Of course not sweetie..." he said with a shy smile

"Well, then we better think of other names" I said and Soarin nodded.

"How about .... Shooting Star Skies for one of the babies?" Soarin suggested

"I liked it, and for the other it could be .... Ragtag Dash?" I said and Soarin smiled.

"It's perfect" he said.

Then he approached me and also started rubbing my huge belly.

"I can not wait" he said.

"I did not either ..." I said

"They're going to be a beauty like Mother" he said.

I blushed a little at that.

"Hehe, but they're going to be just like their father" I said, stroking Soarin's cheek.

"I love you Dashie, I love you more than anything else in the world. You and the two babies you're carrying" he said kissing my head. I leaned closer to him and laid my head on his chest.

"I love you too Clipper" I said.

After that we spent the rest of the day snuggling with each other, rubbing my belly and talking to the colt.

Next day at Wonderbolt headquarters ....

(Soarin POV)

Today was practically the best day of my life, do you want to know why? So I'll tell you.

This morning, Rainbow Dash and I were at Wonderbolt headquarters discussing some things with Spitfire, when unexpectedly the thing that we least expected at that moment happened.

"So that's it Crash, in a few months you can be back in practice.In speaking on the subject, how are the babies?" Said Spitfire

"They're fine, soon enough Soarin and I will be busier than ever" Dash said as she began stroking her stomach gently.

"Yeah, oh now remembering we had a practice scheduled for now, right Spitfire?" I said

"Yes, are you ready? Dash can watch if you like" she said and we nodded.

With that we started to walk to the training ground.

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was sitting on the bleachers watching Soarin and the other Wonderbolts. For a moment Soarin passed me, and I winked at him who happily returned it.

Suddenly a sharp pain came on my abdomen, and I began to cringe in pain.

"Argh! ...... ooooooo, argh!" I groaned

Soarin was the first to notice me in pain, so he quickly left the lineup and flew up to me.

"RAINBOW DASH! Are you okay?" He asked me in a worried tone.

"Argh! .... Soarin .... Babies ..... are coming .... Argh!"

His eyes widened the minute he heard me.

"WHAT?!" He said

Then the other Wonderbolts approached us with worried expressions.

"Crash, are you okay?" Fleetfoot asked

"Guys do not give you time to explain, she os about to give a birth! I need to get her to the hospital quickly!" Soarin said as he approached me and took me in his helmets.

"Well, I wish you both good luck" said Spitfire.

With that Soarin began to fly quickly towards the hospital Ponyville.

At Ponyville Hospital ...

(Soarin POV)

I burst into the hospital with Rainbow in my arms and ran to the front desk.

"Please, I need a doctor here! My wife is about to give birth!" I said desperately.

A doctor quickly walked up to me and said

"Oh all right sir, nurses fast! I need a stretcher to the delivery room here urgently!" The doctor said

"Shh, do not worry Dashie you'll be fine" I said trying to reassure Dash as she lay in the hospital bed.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!" Dash suddenly let out a scream so loud that the whole hospital could hear.

"Miss Dash, are you ready?" The doctor asked as he put a mask on his mouth.

Dash looked at me and I gave him a nod of approval, so she turned to the doctor and nodded.

"Very well, when I say three you begin to push with all your might" he said.

Dash nodded again and I leaned closer to her and held her helmet firmly.

"Okay, come on, 1,2,3 now Miss Dash!" The doctor said

With that Dash began to push with all his might and uttered a huge cry.

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!"

"Okay, one more time Miss Dash"

"Argh! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!"

"Do not worry Dash if you need to take a break or need anything I-" I was cut by Dash

"No, I can do this!" She said in determination as she moaned and sweated heavily.

"Come on, Miss Dash! Once more I can see the head!" The doctor said. With that I began to push again with all my might.

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" I screamed to a point that the first foal was out.

"Nurses help here!" The doctor shouted as he handed the colt to one of the nurses who took it to be cleaned.

"Almost there Miss Dash! Just a little more"

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!" Dash let out a last scream until finally the second colt was out.

"Wwwwwwwaaaaaaa" a foal's crying was all Dash needed to have a smile on his face

"Congratulations, Mr and Mrs. Dash, you now have two beautiful and healthy fillies!" The doctor congratulated us as he handed the second colt to another nurse so he could be cleaned.

"You got Dashie, you brought two little miracles to the world! I'm the luckiest stallion of all!" I said as I leaned into Dash and kissed her softly on the lips.

"Yay ..."

After some time our friends and family came to give us congratulations and congratulations to a point where they had to leave and leave Dash and myself alone with our fats.

"Dashie .... They are beautiful" I said in admiration of my new daughters.

"Yes ..." Dash said weakly as he held the two filth in his arms.

The first filly was blue-baby, her mane was rainbow and her eyes were purple, we decided to call her the Ragtag Dash. The second filly was cyan blue, her mane was three shades of blue, and her eyes were blue, we decided to call it Shooting Star Skies.

They really were a beautiful sight for me and Dash, we could not be happier than at that moment.

"Wow ... Two fillies .... This is going to be a long way ..." Dash said firmly holding the two babies in their hooves.

"Yes, but together we can make it work smoothly" I said, looking at the trolls.

"I hope so ..." Dash said softly. Then the trolls looked up and smiled at their mother, their first smile.

"Hi girls, how are you? I'm your mommy and that's your daddy" Dash said, pointing at me.

I leaned closer to her and sat down next to her on the bed.

"Hey girls, I just want you to know that your mommy and I love you guys so much, and we're not going to let anything bad happen to you, let's protect you no matter what, do not worry" I said, stroking the twins's mane. who happily smiled at me and I returned the very happy smile.

After a while I lay down next to Dash with the twins in the middle of the two of us, and we just watched our fowls in silence. Until there came a point where Dash began to close his eyes falling into a deep sleep.
I smiled at her and kissed her gently on the head, after which I wrapped another blanket in the twins and they snuggled deeper into me and Dash as they slept.

"I love you three, more than anything else in this world.I will never abandon you or let anything happen to you" I said softly as I leaned down and kissed the twins and Dash on the forehead. After that I also started to close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep just thinking about what a new day could bring ....
