A Plea for Help

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

The store's main sign to the right of the telephone poles read:

Happy Time Petstore

All decapitated pets 50% off!

How....disturbing.....Then I Immediately though about Fluttershy. She was breaking down into tears after I glanced at the sign. The water from her eyes dripped off from her snout, that leaked into the pores of the ground. Her friends and I surrrounded her, as they patted her on the back with glances of anxiety and uneasiness. The sign out of all of us...affected her the most. This evil force was clever....It knew our personal backgrounds and played a game of physiological warfare within our minds. I squatted near Fluttershy and held out my arms to her. She looked up with drenched, watery eyes and pounced right into them immediately. She looked up to me with a weak, squeakiness within her voice.

"Ry...they wouldn't do anything that terrible to innocent pets....would they?" She asked in apprehension.

Rainbow Dash trotted over and looked into the display case for the animals inside the pet store. Thankfully, there were no evidence of puppy or kitten skeletons....with missing skulls inside the case. It was just...a very fucking sick joke.... I made a short announcement to the group.

"This evil presence from within this town....is desperately trying to break us all down. We cannot allow such an influence over us. Girls....you must resist this evil....like I did trying to save you..." Rainbow Dash interrupted with her motivational speech.

"I can see what the tall guy's trying to say to us...We gotta be strong willed. Do not let anything break you down from this point forward. We've survived hell and back, and we can sure do it again girls!" Rainbow dash boasted with confidence in her voice. She turned her head back to me and grinned, as I smiled back to her in recognition. Rainbow Dash always embodied fantastic leadership skills. I told her if something were to happen to me, to take over the situation. Good, that saved me from another generic motivational speech....

The little girl's voice was crystal clear to all of us after Dash's speech. The voice said....

"Will somebody please help me?"

That made us all cringe in fear, as Fluttershy lifted herself off from the ground.

I wanted to investigate from where the source of the voice was calling us from....It appeared as if the girl pleaded for our help, from the building to the left of the pet store. I readied the 870 shotgun, as we prudently made our way into the building. We walked into...what seemed like an old 1950's styled restaurant. Two fridges to the left of the kitchen area, an knocked over food shelf with more unopened cans of soda, two hot iron grills to the far left, and a few packaging boxes with a strange small blue spherical objects that hovered in mid air....

This was not like the soulspheres that we've previously encountered. However.....the spheres that I've sensed where the souls of...tortured clowns....calling out to us in this imprisoned ghost town for what seemed like an eternity. The souls were round and solid. I threw them in my backpack for later. We jogged into the serving kitchen area of the building, where a set of small, grotesque clown statues that differated from the menacing pointing clown statue. These were....probably the poor souls of the clowns that were located within my backpack from the other room. Also....the source of the little girl's voice eerily emitted from the small clowns. One of the statues was a white small clown, where dried up crusted blood poured from it's eye sockets, and it's arms extended outwards pleading for release. The other clown was on top of a wooden wine cabinet that held a small bloody organ in it's left arm. It's right arm extended toward us.

A blue cylindrical object, that emitted a faint yellow glow from inside of it, rested on a serving dashboard from within the resturant. I picked it up for closer viewing, while the girls came close to me to inspect the small object. A demonic clown peered in from outside of the resturant, and launched a electro-static ball at us. I dropped the blue object over the counter and ducked for cover. The blue object rolled off of the other side of the counter, where it fell on the floor with a small trail of smoke leaking from its glowing vents. The object erupted like a grenade, leaving a shockwave of confetti and multi colored sharpnel that collided into the demonic clown. The demonic clown exploded into a pile of gibblets. I spotted more of these clown grenades underneathe the counter. I carefully backpacked the rest of the grenades inside my bag. We left the resturant and made our way into the opposite store, parallel of the pet store.

We crossed into an old lamp store.....just strictly selling old 1950's styled incandescent lamps around us. A few clown souls littered the floor, as I picked them up and tossed them into the backpack. There was nothing else of use for us within the store. All six of us trotted out back into the street. More colorful walls blocked our path, as we retraced our steps all the way back the T intersection.

We've traveled to the left street this time around. Two demonic clowns launched their electro-static balls as we sprinted down the road. I casted a clown grenade by their feet. The multicolored sharpnel erupted and pierced their brown lifeless skin. They both gushed into a pile of gore as we continued on. A new enemy floated above our heads, lowering itself to all of the commonition of the firefight.

It was a....red balloon. However, this balloon wasn't like any ordinary balloon....that you would see being given out by some pedophile to little kids at a carnival.....The balloon had a faint smiley face markered on it. So...what's so horrifying about that you might ask? As the red balloon got closer to you, the smiley face warped into a demonic gaunt looking skull with dim yellow glowing eyes, with an immense mouth that attempted to gnaw you to death. Rarity took good aim with her 1911 and discharged a single round off. The red balloon collapsed onto the ground, as what looked like a tortured translucent clown soul, escaped from it's prison inside the red balloon and darted off in the upper atmosphere.

We jogged to the bottom of the new T intersection, into another brick building with a colored wall located just to the right of it. More collapsed rebar and a old styled pendant type light was in the main room, which lead us to a rising staircase to the second floor. The far room to the opposite of the staircase contains more ambient blue clown souls, a few old boxes of Winchester 12 gauge buckshot, and a green balloon. Rainbow swiped at the balloon with her combat knife, where another bottle of the healing blue liquid collapsed to the floor. Applejack threw it in her bag, as we made our way out of the house.

Rarity lead the way for us into a green, lead painted home. We've cruised together up the flight of steps, located within the main room, to reveal a series of empty liqour bottles and a few full soda cans that were complete flat from age. We continued to the left of the bottles, where an inanimate bloodied skull and a section of the interior wall emitting psychedelic colors veered through from the clown realm. The bare floor also contained large cracks, seeping into reality from the clown realm as well. The bloodied skull jolted with life, from a swift evil force that radiated through the town. It bonced over to me. Twilight stomped on the skull, where it imploded into small fragments. I looked over to the left of the flashing psychedelic colors, to peer out of the second floor's window. We've noticed a series of small floating balloons, to a pattern of ascending multicolored blocks, that led into a small flashing gap into a second story floor. We've returned to the outside the green lead painted home, to reveal a small pathway that led us into the upper gap of the second story.

The girls pursued onward on the pathway, where I halted everyone, and spotted something in the windowsill of the building to the right of us.

"Hang on girls....I see something...from that windowsill on the second floor of that building...." I glanced to the right windowsill of the building, where the girls looked in my direction. I peered over to Rarity.

"Rarity, dear...Can you aim for that clown statue in the windowsill, please?" I asked her politely while I pointed to the window.

"Oh of coarse I can Darling...with elegant precision." She said in response.

Rarity sprung out and aligned the sights of the pistol at the small clown statue resting on the windowsill. She squeezed off a round that struck the small clown statue in the left leg, where small fragments of living flesh and bone skattered from the inside. The window collapsed on itself from the round striking the glass. A door opened to the front building on itself, as Rarity kept the pistol at bay to her right side. We treaded carefully into the entrance of the building. Bare wooden floor boards, with small sections of carpet deteriorating from age stood before us. We made our way onto the second floor, where the bleeding clown statue was contained. A portrait on top on the staircase...of that intimidating clown with the red hair, faded suddenly into a shade of purple. A faint yell of agony emerged from the picture. The portrait of the clown faded into pure black.

We crossed into the room to the right of the clown portrait. I've spotted striking similar features from between the clown in the portrait, and the menacing pointing small clown statues. The statue laid in a pool of blood with it's leg completely blown off, from a well placed shot from Rarity. A bookshelf to the right of us was overcrowded with books. Twilight darted to examine the collection. A few red balloons, filled with sharp chunks of bone shards and cartilage, floated in mid air on a wooden counter near the windowsill. A black balloon with a faint pair of red eyes overlooked us to the right of the wooden counter.....

I progressed over to inspect the red balloons filled with gore, where all of a sudden....the black balloon with red eyes morphed into a hideous monster. The balloon transformed into a translucent large floating brown clown, with large white milky eyes, and a inhumanely large grotestque mouth that chattered from spasms. The jaw of this monster enlongated to the base of its chest. It carelessly skimmed by one of the red balloons filled with gore, as it erupted like a bomb that bursted into fragments of gore and bone sharpnel. The thing bellowed in a faint painful moan, as it morphed back into the black balloon.....without the gazing features of the red eyes from the dead center of the balloon. I shot the balloon, where it imploded into a giant blood ball and painted the room with blood. I grasped the strings of the clustered gore balloons and handed them over to Twilight. She saw the pratical uses of the gore balloons from the incident. We made our way back out into the streets once more.

We traveled to the left narrow alleyway, that we orignally intended to travel down into before I stopped the group. As we continued on our way, toward the psychedelic flashing gap from within the building, I spotted a few more abnormal oddities to the left of us. A few trees nearby a puddle of that colorful clown fluid, emitted an unnatural vibrant green, yellow and purple shades with violent and blue vines.

I leaped into the small gap, with Rainbow Dash right behind my back with her combat knife clutched in her teeth. The two of us assisted the rest of the girls into the glowing, balloon textured, vibrant flashing room. Rainbow slashed at a few green balloons, that dropped a few useful supplies. I spotted a new type of weapon on the floor of this so called 'fun' room....

I picked up an otherworldly weapon, that looked like it was engineered from the clown realm. The base of the weapon rusted with a dull green color, with dried up bloodstains covering the exterior of the weapon. The muzzle of the barrel was imprinted with the same colorful materials from the clown realm. A frowning clown, with blood spewing out of it's hollowed eye sockets, mouth, and earholes...was painted on the base. The clown souls trembled and tumbled violently out from my backpack, and rose near the odd weapon....

It collided into the painted frowning clown on the weapon. The weapon absorbed the clown souls from my bag. I squeezed the trigger within a safe direction away from us. A large, tumbling kidney like projectile flung out of the muzzle, and acted like a grenade. It splattered into the soft earth into chunks of gore and bone fragments.

I handed the weapon over to Applejack, and placed a few more blue souls inside her backpack. After the weapon was gorged with clown souls, we made our way down into the 'fun house', though a maze of rooms. The enviorment gave me a migraine from all of the psychedelic lights, fading in and out of reality. A demonic clown, a few bloodied skulls, and a new type of rival awaited for us inside the main room of the fun house. Applejack launched a kidney projectile, while I tossed a clown grenade into the room. A mixture of bone sharpnel and molten hot confetti obliterated a few of the monsters.

A flying metallic clown skull, connected to a tubular machine from it's spine, launched a quarter sized swirling green magic ball at us. I've pushed the girls back and dolphin dived into the ground. Rarity took out the little flying beast, as the room was cleared from all of the monsters. Another sleeping clown switch inprinted on the wall awaited for us. I slammed the back of my 870 buttstock into it. The sleeping clown switch awakened with red eyes and razor sharp teeth, as something moved from outside.....

We've traveled back onto the streets from a new exit, located inside of the fun house though narrow corridors. A few clown smokestacks, made from the same material from the base of the unnatural tree, emitted carnival melodies though it's enlongated protruding tubes. We've entered inside a house located in front of the exit, where a few bloodied skulls awaited for us from inside the house. We spotted a few clown souls, for Applejack's gore grenade launcher. The next house onward contained a backyard, where a bloodied skull invigorated into life, from dried up corn stalks contained within a miniature garden. Rarity squeezed off a few rounds in the skull.

An old rusted 1950's tricycle sat in the middle of the backyard garden, that probably belonged to some poor kid that fell victim to the clown invasion of this town. All six of us traveled across the streets, into a house parallel from the house that contained the tricycle. A small clown statue grimly pointed at us from within this home. Rainbow Dash proceeded to throw it onto the ground in sheer force. It landed head first, as tiny brain matter skattered all over the floor. The pendant lightbulb from the next room...popped suddenly by itself, as we left the house to venture back into the streets. Another green painted house waited for us. A red smiley balloon floated from the outside of the entrance. I pointed the shotgun to the balloon and fired off a shell, as it imploded with a clown soul that escaped for freedom. Two large demonic floating clowns glided toward us. Twilight tossed a gore balloon that drifted toward the pair. The clowns moaned in pain, and morphed into black balloons. Dash swung at the balloons with her combat knife.

We ventured into the house from where the monsters emerged from. Spots of the otherworldly clown realm dripped through large holes inside the main part of the building. More flashing psychedelic circus stripes, faded in and out of reality inside the room. On the opposite end of the room, an M16A1 laid on a desk right next to three 20 round aluminum .223 magazines. I charged the charging handle and chambered a round into battery inside the bolt carrier. I gave the 870 to Dash, while she handed the combat knife to Fluttershy. The last house on the street block only contained a single box of 5.56 ammo, that I've placed inside my bag for later.

The road to the right of the fun house was our next place to explore. The sleeping clown switch we activated from eariler on, lowered a room that flashed with vibrant circus colors. A few clown demons and bloodied skulls charged after us, as I tossed a clown grenade that cleared the room within no time. We've decided to relocate the old telephone power lines, that traveled onward to old cabin into the woods. Four floating clown heads, with their tubular launchers at bay, were alerted by our presense. We unloaded on the small clowns while I got a feel for the M16A1.

You know....I have a theory for what happened in this town. I've guessed that....this was once a peaceful little town, where a bunch of suburban families looked for an escape from crowded cities like Phillydelphia and Manehattan at the time being. It must have contained ponies that co-existed here in peace, with evidence of humans being present here as well. So....why hasn't Celestia told us about it? Perhaps she had no idea. The old vietnam era gear that we kept running into...wasn't matching up as well...

We followed the path of telephone poles that lead us into the woods.....
