After a Blue and White "Galaxy"Royal Canterlot Police patrol car took Agent Stream to the barracks,with Big Mac riding with them.It was actually Agent Streams idea,to maintain her cover,was driven back to Ponyville Barracks.Lonny drove Rarity back to her shop/home.

Lonny asked,"You sure you don't want sit in when we talk to Agent Stream??I'm sure Captain Goldtalon will OK it."

Rarity replied,"Oh no thank you Lonny darling,but I for one have had enough excitement for one day.I think,I'll stick to making fashions,but do let me know what happens when you and Big Macintosh solve the case"

Lonny said,"OK Rarity.You got it.And thanks for your help."

Rarity said,"Oh it was nothing,although I do have one question.Do you think What Grass is lying about about the money??"

Lonny asked,"What makes you say that??"

Rarity replied,"Well.I have some of my customers who work in Finance and Investments,and they have always told me,that investment payments are done through brokerage firms or investment banks.Not Payroll companies."

Lonny replied,"Now that's interesting.Rarity.You should have been a cop."

Rarity giggled and said,"Thank you for the kind words Lonny darling,but designing fashions and helping Twilight solve friendship problems,is exciting enough.Well I better go.I need to get back to work.Ta."

Lonny waved bye and drove back to Ponyville Barracks.When Lonny arrived,he went upstairs and met with Big Mac and asked,"OK.So what's happening??'What did you tell the uniforms about Agent Stream??

Big Mac replied,"Ahh told em that we caught her with a concealed weapon.They bought it."

Lonny then said,"And Rarity told something interesting.I think Wheat Grass is lying out of her tufu eating ass."

Big Mac said,"Eyup.Ahh got that vibe too,"

Lonny then asked,"You brief The Captain??"

Big Mac answerd,"Eyup.He's on the phone with Consumer Protection,and he ain't happy either."

Lonny said,"Well you'd be pissed too.If you were captain,and "Roys"came into your barracks without consulting you."

Big Mac replied,"Eyup."

Lonny asked,"Speaking of which,Where'd you put Agent Stream??"

Big Mac replied,"Ahh had her put in interrigation.Newman's watching her."

Lonny said,"Good.Let's go have a chit chat with her,but first lets get the Captain."

Big Mac replied,"Eyup."

Just then Captain Goldtalon came out of his office,and said.Let's go and chat with Agent Stream.

Lonny and Big Mac and Goldtalon went into the interrigation room and sat down opposite from Special Agent Slippery Stream.

Lonny said,"Allright Agent Stream.Tell us.Why R.C.P.S.has you undercover in a cosmetics factory??"

Stream replied,"First tell me what you guys know."

Big Mac said,"Nope.Thats not how it works.First.Ya'all tell us what ya'all know,and then we tell ya,if we feel like it."

Goldtalon then said,"You talk,or I don't care if you are a Roy.I'll book you ass for interfering with an official police investigation,obstruction of justice and anything else The D.A.can think of."

Stream said,"Fine.It all began about 8 months ago.In Baltimare.A teenage earth pony mare.16 years old.High School student.Cheerleader.Debate club.Drama club.Had everything going for her future.She was even in line for a scholarship.Until when she came out of the shower,she put some "Boops for Stuff"all natural Fur conditioner.The fur on her whole torso was burned,right down to her skin.Second and Third degree burns.She died from cardiac arrest while she was in the burn unit at Baltimare Community General Hospital.Baltimare P.D.called us in.Our lab found out that there was sulfuric acid was in the conditioner.We told them to keep it out of the press,and I was sent in undercover."

Lonny asked,"So.what have you found out so far??"

Stream continued,"In the course of my investigation.I found out,that "Boops for Stuff"is cutting corners and putting acid in the fur conditioner.Turpentine in the cold cream.Feces in the mud packs.And you don't want to know what else.Look.My agency doesn't just want to slap them with fines,We want to have them prosecuted,and locked up.For a long time."

Lonny then asked,"What do you know about Blu Buttercup??"

Stream replied,"We know she spent time there,and we know about the money she was getting.Thats is all I know about her.I only found out about her death,when you 2 and Ms.Belle came to "Boops for Stuff".And that is everything I know.So let me ask you.Who do like for the murder??"

Lonny replied,"Well my partner and I think Wheat Grass is lying,and that big pony Tempeh maybe our prime suspect.Our M.E. says that Blu Buttercups killer was very tall and had great upper body strength."

Stream said,"Well.Tempeh is very strong,so he's one I would suspect.And here's another little tidbit.Wheat Grass and Tempeh are having an affair."

Big Mac asked,"And Ahh wonder how Flax Seed fells about this??"

Stream replied,"Flax Seed's brain has turned to oatmeal,from all the dope he does.He smokes weed,pops pills,and Celestia knows what else."

Goldtalon said,"I spoke to your boss.And I told him it would be in your best interest to work with us."

Stream said,"OK.How can I help??"

Goldtalon said,"You will be released on your own recognicense.Go back to "Boops for Stuff"and you will keep in touch.Got it??"

Stream replied,"Understood Captain."

Just then there was a knock on the door.After Goldtalon told the person on the other side to come in.Officer Jenny Newman a human female came in and said,"Excuse me Captain,detectives.Sheriff SilverStar is here from Applelossa.He's here with the victims parents."

Goldtalon replied,"OK.Thnks Newman.Wait outside for a minute."

Newman went outside and waited.A moment later Lonny.Big Mac.Captain Goldtalon.And Agent Stream came out of the room.Goldtalon looked at Newman and said,"Newman.Take Ms.Stream and process her out.She's being released O.R."

Newman said"Yes sir."

Newman took Stream downstairs and processed her out.Meanwile Lonny and Big Mac and Goldtalon,went back to the squadroom,and Lonny and Big Mac went up to Sheriff SilverStar.He wore a suit and tie,his Star was on his belt as was his 2in barreled 38 revolver.Blu Buttercups parents were waiting on a bench in the hallway.

Lonny shook hands and said,"SilverStar.It's good seeing you again."

SilverStar Shook hands with Lonny and Big Mac and replied,"Lonny.Big Mac.How are ya'all??"

Big Mac replied,"Everyponys allright SilverStar.You remember our boss.Captain Goldtalon??"

SilverStar shook Goldtalons claw and replied,"Of course.How are ya Captain??Ya'all know the reason Ahh'm here??"

Lonny said,"Yeah.You brought The Buttercups to claim their foals body."

SilverStar said,"And somethin else."

SilverStar handed Lonny a package.And said,"Mr and Mrs Buttercup gave that to me."

Lommy opened the package and found a jar of "Boops for Stuff"cold cream.And there was a letter.Lonny read it out loud.

"Dear Ma and Pa.

If your reading this,then that means something bad happened to me,and I didn't survive.

This jar has stuff in it that I knew about and when I stopped takin money to keep quiet,because of that young mare in Baltimare who died,I coudln't remain queit anymore and was going to the police,but I knew I would be dead before that could happen.So I'm giving it to you.

Please give it to Sherrif SilverStar.He will know what to do with it.

I am so sorry for the pain my death is going to cause our family,but always know,that I love you all so much.

Please tell Red,that I love him.I hope to see you all in The Great Pasture.I will be there waiting for you.

After Lonny read the letter.Captain Goldtalon spoke up,and said,"OK.Apple.You sign out an unmarked "Galaxie"and take Sheriff SilverStar and The Buttercups to The M.E.Williams.You take that jar over to the crime lab and see what Spy Glass can find."

Lonny replied."Yes sir."

Big Mac replied,"Eyup."

Lonny and Big Mac have a chat with Special Agent Slippery Stream.And find out some interesting things about "Boops for Stuff"and the secret ingredients that are in their products.

And Sheriff SilverStar arrives with the victims parents and get a package.

And just so you know.The term "Roy"or "Roys"is slang for Royal Law Enfrocment Agents.Like we here in the U.S.call Federal agents "Feds"So i went with it.
