The next morning.Lonny and Applejack were up at the crack of dawn,along with the rest of the family.They all did they're morning chores,Lonny and Big Mac got ready for work,had breakfast.Lonny kissed his mare goodbye and he and Big Mac went to the barracks.After checking in and getting their coffee and doughnuts from the coffee room.Lonny and Big Mac sat at their desks and typed up their case update reports and check a few things over.

Around 10am Sergeant Jerry Coogan walked upstairs with Rarity,who was wearing designer jeans,shirt,and a sport jacket.Coogan pointed to Lonny and Big Macs desks,and Rarity thanked him and walked up.

Rarity said,"Good morning Lonny,good morning Big Macintosh.Are we as you say,Ready to roll??"

Lonny replied,"We are when you are."

Big Mac said,"Eyup."

Lonny let Captain Goldtalon know that he,Big Mac and Rarity were leaving for "Boops for Stuff",and soon all 3 were in their way to a commune/cosmetics factory.

Big Mac opened the passenger door to "The Jav" and asked,"What'll it Rarity??Back seat??Or shotgun??"

Rarity replied,"Oh back seat.I know as Lonny's partner you always ride in front,so I shall ride in the back."

Rarity sat in the back,Big Mac got in on his said of "The Jav".Lonny started the V8 engine and soon,all 3 were on their way.

Rarity asked,"Lonny darling.Do you suspect anypony at "Boops for Stuff"of being involved in that young mares murder do you??"

Lonny replied,"We're just gonna ask some questions about her."

Rarity then said,"I know you and Big Macintosh are just doing your jobs,but if anypony there is responsible.It would be so heartbreaking."

Big Mac said,"Eyup.That it would Rarity.That it would."

About 40 minutes later,The 3 reached a commune.And they saw an avocado colored earth pony.His cutie mark was a bowl and tortilla chips. at the front gate in a makeshift guardshack,with a t-shirt the said,"SECURITY GUARD"

Rarity said,"This is it."Boops for Stuff"Let me talk to Flax Seed and Wheat Grass first."

Lonny and Big Mac both nodded and the red earth pony exited the car and let Rarity out,she went up to the guardshack and spoke the the guard.

The guard said,"Hello.Welcome to "Boops for Stuff"My name is Guacamole Dipper,but you can call em "Mole."How can I help you??"

Rarity said,"Hello there Mole darling.I am Rarity Belle.Would you please tell Flax Seed and Wheat Grass,that I would like to speak to them.They know me."

Mole look at the human and the red earth pony and saw their badges on their belts and replied,"Yeah OK.One moment."Mole picked up the phone in his shack and said,"Hey Flax.....Yeah man......There's a Rarity Belle here to see you and Wheat.......And she brought a couple of Fuzz with her........OK man....I'll tell her.....Right."

Mole hung up and said,"They'll be out in a minute,just wait here."

Rarity replied,"Thank you so much."

Flax Seed and his mare Wheat Grass,2 ponies who looked like something out of an old earth movie from the 60s walked up and Wheat said,"Rarity.Hello.It's been a long time."

Rarity hugged her friend and said,"Hello Wheat darling.How is everything going??"

Wheat Grass replied,"As busy as ever.So who are theses gentlecolts??"

Rarity replied,"These are friends of mine.That is Sergeant Lonny Williams.And That is Detective Big Macintosh Apple,They are here about Blu Buttercup.I'm afraid she was killed a couple of nights ago."

After a few more minutes.Rarity came back to "The Jav"and looked at Lonny and said,They said,you could come in"

As Rarity.Lonny an Big Mac walked up to Flax Seed and Wheat Grass,they were properly introduced,they were given a tour of the place.And were given a pitch about how "Boops for Stuff"prides itself on using only natural ingredients and how they use only production means that won't hurt the enviorment.And about how Rarity helped them to increase production,and market their products.Then they met an earth pony named Tempeh.Whose coat was cream colored,and his mane was long and green,like he mother natures gift to all mares.And he started talking about soy this and soy that.After the tour,the group all sat on a table in the back porch of the main house.

Wheat Grass asked,"So.Is it true??Blu was murdered??"

Lonny said,"Yes.I afraid so."

Flax Seed asid,"Whoa.Like that is such a letdown man."

Lonny asked,"When was the last time you spoke to Ms.Buttercup??"

Wheat Grass replied,"About six months ago.She worked with us as a model."

Big Mac then said,"Miss Grass.We found that she was gettin 4000bits a month,from this company.Can ya'all explain that??"

Wheat Grass said,"Oh that.You see she invested some of her money with us,and I guess for her it paid off."

Big Mac then asked,"And ya'all haven't seen her since??"

Flax Seed replied,"No man.I mean Detective.Not for awhile."

Lonny handed them a business card,and said,OK.Well if you think of anything else.Please call us at Ponyville Barracks."

Wheat Grass replied,"Allright.Thank you for coming.Please come again."

Lonny.Big Mac and Rarity said goodbye and left.On the drive back to Ponyville.Big Mac noticed something in the rear view mirror on the passenger door,and said in a concerned voice,"Lonny."

Lonny looked in his rear view mirror and replied,"Yeah.I see it too."

Rarity asked,"What's going on Lonny darling??"

Lonny said,"There's somepony in a "Corona"who's been following us since we left "Boops for Stuff".

Rarity asked,"Are we in any danger??"

Lonny replied,"We're gonna try to prevent that.Rarity,get down in the back seat.And stay down,don't get up until I tell you."

Rarity said as she lowered herself in the back seat,"You don't have to tell me twice."

Lonny drove "The Jav"onto a dead end street,and hid in an alley and waited,Lonny grew his 44 and Big Mac drew his 38.As soon as the car passed them.Lonny gunned "The Javs"engine.Big Mac put the magnetic red police overhead light on the roof,and sped up,unitl they had "The Corona"boxed in.Both detectives opened their doors and used them as cover,just as they were taught in the academy,and pointed their guns at the other car.

Lonny yelled."YOU IN "THE CORONA"POLICE!!!TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE!!!THROW THE KEYS OUT!!!!PUT YOUR HANDS OUTSIDE THE WINDOW!!!DO IT NOW!!!!"

Big Mac also yelled,"DO AS MAH PARTNER SAYS!!!OR WE'LL BLOW YA TA KINGDOM COME!!!!!

The driver complied and threw the keys out of the cars driver side window.And driver stuck it's hands outside the car.

Lonny yelled,"WITH YOUR LEFT HAND!!!OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE!!!STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE WITH YOU HANDS ON THE BACK OF YOU HEAD!!!!INTERLOCK YOUR FINGERS!!!"

The driver complied and stepped out of the car.It was a female pegasus,with a light blue coat,and brown mane.Her cutie mark was white swirils.

Lonny then said,"Do not move.Or we will kill you.Do you understand??"

The pegasus replied,"Yeah.I do"

Lonny said,"Bro.Cover me."

Big Mac replied."Eyup."Then moved,keeping his gun trained on the pegasus,moved to a better position to "The Javs"right front fender.Lonny then moved up put his gun to to his chest,and grabbed the pegasus,then did a pat down search,afterward.Lonny pushed her head down on the trunk.

Lonny put the muzzle of his 44 and said,"You move.You die."Then gave Big Mac a quick nod.The red earth pony then moved up to the "Corona" and checked the car for other occupants.There were none.

Big Mac said,"Clear."

Lonny then put his gun back in his holster and put handcuffs on the pegasus.

Rarity asked,"Lonny.Is it safe to come out now??"

Lonny said,"Yeah.It's safe now Rarity."

Rarity came out of "The Jav" and watched her friends work.

Lonny then said,"OK.Out with it.Why are were you following us??"

The pegasus said,"I'm a cop.I'm undercover.My badge is in the trunk,under the spare tire."

Big Mac retrieved the cars keys and opened the trunk and found a black billfold and a 32 caliber automatic,and opened the billfold.Inside was a badge and identification card.

Big Mac said,"Hey brother.Take a look."

Lonny looked and looked back at the pegasus and asked,"Who in hell are you??"

The peasus replied,"I'm Special Agent Slippery Stream.Consumer Protection Service.Office of Criminal Investigation."

Big Mac asked,"So.What in tarnation is this all about??"

Agent Stream replied,"It's about product tampering,and the death of a young mare."
