Chapters Chapter 1: Arrival
In a vast ocean of sky, a pony sat upon a floating island. The island had no supports and just seemed to float in place. As far as the eye could see, the only thing around were the clouds and the sky. The pony was confused. How had he gotten there? One moment nothing, and then the next moment BAM, he was there. Strangely he didn’t remember anything except his name and his cutie mark.
His name was Dreamur, and he had a deduced that he was a unicorn pony because of the horn on his head. Pretty obvious. His fur was also, a light brown. His cutie mark was a lamp with stars on it, resembling his childhood lamp next to his bed. Why couldn’t he remember anything? He remembered how to breath, the lamp, and all the basic necessities to survive. The only thing was that he didn’t remember anything about his life. Who was he, why was he here, and what did his cutie mark do? Most cutie mark meanings are easy to decode, but his was confusing. What the heck did a bucking lamp mean? Maybe, is helped him skill wise. There was no way to test that though because there was nothing around except sky and clouds.
The island was made of dirt, and was about the length and width of five ponies. Observing his island tiny he noticed a wooden chest near the edge. He recognized that chest. No, he recognized that type of chest.
Without warning, he was blinded by a bright light. He herd voices. When the light seceded from his vision, he noticed that he was in a house. Not his house. Somehow he knew that.
“Cmon Dreamur!” a young filly shouted from another room.
“Coming!”
Dreamur jumped behind a table just as another filly galloped through the room to the other voice. Why had his name been called? Why had someone else responded? Cautiously he peaked around the corner, and eyed the two fillies with suspicion. With surprise he noticed that one of them was him! A younger version of himself sat on the couch with his friend Button Mash. Hmm, he had just remembered that. It seemed that everything that he saw he began to remember. The memories hit him like a brick to the face. How could he had forgotten his friend Button! They had spent so much time together playing video games. They had maintained their friendship for so long until. Button had met another filly who’s name he couldn’t recall. All he wanted to do was spend time with that other filly. They still were friends but didn’t see each other much. He realized that they hadn’t noticed him right in front of them. They continued to play their video game. Dreamur began waving his hooves in front of their faces but they didn’t notice a thing.
“Hey, let’s pause this game real quick, okay?”
He tired to grab their controllers, but his hooves passed right through their controllers and through their bodies.
“What the buck?”
He turned around to see what they playing anyways. They were apparently dueling with swords in a pit surrounded by lava. One had a diamond sword while the other had an iron one. With his iron sword, Button hurled Dreamur in to the pit of lava.
“Cmon, that’s not fair. You cheated!”
“I didn’t cheat! I won fair and square and you know it. Let’s just try again, best out of three?”
“Sure, thanks!”
This time Button Mash threw his diamond sword into the lava, and went to get an iron one. Dreamur turned just in time to see him grab and iron sword out of wooden chest. The flashback ended. Dreamur was looking at the tv one second, then was looking out at the sky. He had finally figured it out. The thing on his island wasn’t just any chest. It was a chest from a game called Minecraft.
Note, Dreamur doesn’t actually see the stats on screen, only we do.

‘No No nooo”
Dreamur had quit Minecraft many years ago after he had become strangely addicted to the game. After spending two whole straight days in Minecraft VR, he had decided that he needed a break from the game. He had never played it after that. Maybe he should just accept his fate. Dreamur cautiously approached the chest.
In the world of Minecraft, physics are not the same as in real life. Blocks defy gravity, trees can grow instantly, and building is much easier.
He sighed rolling her eyes in annoyance, “let’s get this over with.”
He popped open the chest with his front two hooves, leaning over to see what was inside. He had been expecting common materials like water, lava, saplings, and stuff he needed to survive. What he got completely disappointed him.
It was one ender pearl. One...
“AHHHHHHHHH!”
Dreamur screamed until his throat was raw. Why did he always have to have the worst luck! There was literally nothing he could do with the one measly Pearl. He couldn’t even use it to go anywhere because there where no where to teleport! Ender Pearls could only teleport the user if it hit a target. Dreamur plopped down on the fuzzy grass, belly first. Why was he here? Why could he feel pain? How would he get off this island? Stop, he needed to stop and think rationally.
“Take in your surroundings,” he thought to himself.
Dreamur looked around cautiously at his tiny island. There was the chest that had the pearl and the dirt floor. He looked over the edge to see if anything was there. The island was completely made up of stone except for the top layer.
No trees.
Just dirt. Just Dirt.
“No food, no materials, and nowhere to go,” Dreamur sighed.
Maybe it would be the best if he just ended it all. He could jump of the edge into the unknown void. Would he die instantly, or fall forever, eventually starving to death? He gingerly approached the edge. Maybe he should just accept his death. There was nothing he could do anyway. Dreamur began to tear up. He didn’t want to die. He didn’t know if he had family or friends, but that didn’t matter. He was just afraid of death. Sniffing, he gazed out in the distance. All that was out there was sky. He noticed an annoying blur in the middle of his vision. He tried to wipe it away with his hoof, but it remained there. Realizing what that it wasn’t in his eyes, he exclaimed in excitement! There was something out there!
Dreamur’ s eyes grew wide as he realized that it was an island!
“Yes, I’m saved!” He shouted. “I don’t have to die.
“Wait, think Dreamur,” He thought to himself. “How was he going to get over.”
Observing the island in the distance, he noticed that it had a castle on it. There a bunch of animals, outside of it. It was much bigger than his own island, extending to about 40 by 40 blocks. It wasn’t that big compared to a normal castle. He eventually gave up trying to will his eyes to see inside the castle, and slowly, he lowered himself down on the grass staring up in the sky. Leaning his head against the chest, he heard his stomach rumbling. It was saying, “Give me food. Give me food!” And it was gradually getting louder, but there was nothing he could do about it. He closed eyes, with the cool surface of the chest on his head.
“Wait, the ender pearl!”
He pushed himself to his hooves with the assistance of the chest, and pulled out the glossy pearl. This one ball, could save his life. Dreamur frowned. He hadn’t thought about how far the island was. Ender pearls could only be thrown so far, and the island looked a little out of his throwing reach. Was there anyway he could get a little closer? Oh the dirt! If collected the dirt blocks, and maybe it would be able to extend just far enough.
Dreamur quickly got to work mining away the top layer of dirt block. After he was finished, he trotted over to the west edge, which was the side of the island facing the other island in the distance. He placed a block of dirt on the edge with much caution, so he wouldn’t fall off the it. Of course, the dirt block stayed floating in the air, just like the island, with its gravity defying physics. That was one of his favorite thing about the game. Without gravity on most of the world, it was easy to create amazing buildings and structures.
Dreamur sighed, he didn’t realize how much he had missed Minecraft until, he awoke on this island. Block after block, he gradually made his was closer and closer to the island. Even though it wasn’t much, Dreamur felt that the extra distance calm his nerves. Dreamur started at the island in the distance. It was much bigger than the one he awoke on. Readying him self mentally, he looked at the ender pearl in his other hand. It was the remains of an enderman once killed. Maybe the enderman’s death would give him a chance at living.
Dreamur was ready, he pulled back his hoof as far as he could, and chucked the pearl as far as he could. He had heard that when actions that your life depended on time seemed to slow, but he experienced none of this. The Pearl soared through the sky speedily, and after four seconds, It was halfway there. Dreamur could only watch as the life saving pearl zoomed down on the island. He wanted to close his eyes, but he knew he had to watch. Please. It had to hit the platform. Yes! He saw the ender pearl so close to the island. It was about to hit!
Dreamur noticed movement from the top of the tower. His eyes opened wide in fear, as he realized that it was a pony! He couldn’t tell it’s gender, but he could tell that it had a crossbow. At first he thought that the pony was trying to shoot him, and began to trot back to the island, but then realization struck him in the face. The pony was among at the pearl.
He finally understood what everypony else was always talking about. The Crossbow jolted as the quarrel was launched through the air. Time seemed to slow in his eyes. The Quarrel sped towards the pearl intercepting it right when it was about it hit the island. It was only a block away.
Dreamur faced that familiar feel as he teleported through the fabrics of his reality to another. He was spit out at the other side where the pearl hit the arrow. He was falling in the sky. Flailing his hooves about, he desperately attempted to grab a hold of anything, anything at all. Pain filled though is front leg as it struck the hard stone on the side of the island. How he was holding on to flat stone, he didn’t know. The pony body could do amazing things sometimes. Dreamur realized that he didn’t feel any pain from the enderpearl impact. That was a plus on top of the fact that he was still alive, but he was still fighting for his life. Oh no, the other pony!
‘Dreamur looked up in time to see the other pony finish reloading the crossbow, and aiming it at his head. So this was it then, huh? Arrows or void, none worse. Dreamur’ s eyes filled with tears as he realized that he was going to die. He’s never know who he was, or how he came here. This was it.
“Please spare me!” He cried as a last resort, but the pony didn’t relent. Dreamur hear the “twang” of the arrow, and let go of the hard cold stone.
Falling. Falling. Dreamur closed his eyes. This was it then , huh? Nothingness.
The pony on the castle turned away from the fallen pony, and walked back into the castle. The job was done, the Castle was safe. He left just in time, to not hear the electric buzz of a teleported being activated.
Skill: No impact damage from enderpearls.

”This one? Are you sure?
“Yes I have chosen him. He has a good heart. He can save them all.”
“Very well then. We will see the inevitable outcome of your decision soon.”
Dreamur woke to find himself laying down in a reclinable chair. It looked like it was designed during the time of Romans, but looked surprisingly in perfect condition. He lifted his head up to observe his surroundings. Big room, big doors, comfortable chair, large pillars, nice lighting, it was a nice room indeed. But how was he here and not falling it to the void? Maybe this was just his dream, and he actually was still falling and falling. Dreamur sighed, he was very traumatized. He sat up and stayed there, with his hooves dangling over the edge. He didn’t have to worry about getting hurt falling off of the chair, for It wasn’t built that high up. What had he heard? Some kind of weird dream he assumed.
He decided to stand up, and try to open the doors, but before that, a pink pony with curly hair, burst through the doors, and bounded into the room.
“Hello there new pony!” she exclaimed with a wide smile on her face, “I’ve been waiting for you to wake up for quite a while now, and I’m so glad your finally conscious. Now if you follow me, we can begin the tour!”
Dreamur tried to say something, but he was still recovering from the shock the pony had given him when she had unexpectedly startled him. The pink colored pony grabbed his hoof, and pulled him through the doors. The sun blinded him at first, but as his eyes adjusted, he gazed in amazement as he took in his surroundings.
“Wow,” he mouthed to himself.
He was in a beautiful courtyard, with luscious plants of all variations. There were sunflowers, poppies, and much more. The trees ranged from Apple trees, to Orange trees, and to even trees that Dreamur had never seen before! And the sun, the sun made it just perfect. He stepped forward, and noticed a fountain in the middle, with the sun reflecting off of it. It spurred water up of a fish mouth on the top. Stepping past it, he reached the border of the area, to realize that it was fenced of by a marble fence.
Peering over the edge, Dreamur saw nothing but sky. It went down forever he supposed. It was interesting to see clouds above and below him. The wind felt nice on his face and mane too. He could stay here all day. But the other pony had different plans.
“Common!” The pink pony whined,” I’ve been waiting all day, and I can’t wait any longer, just for you to stare out at the void. The void will be there later, follow me first.”
Reluctantly, Dreamur follow her off of the patio, and into two other doors leading to another building. It was right next to the building that he had woken up in. It lead to a gigantic room that looked like a museum. The roofs were extremely high, and the wall extended for a long way.
Dreamur stopped walking.
“Wait, before I follow you anywhere else, I just have a few questions.”
The pink pony replied, ”Well, I could but if we reach the informatory section of this museum, it would be much easier to explain everything. It is just right up there. There are many diagrams and pictures there, so everything will make better sense.”
“Who are you anyways?”
“Well, I am Pinkie Pie, the Curator of this museum. Before you ask what kind of museum this is, I will just tell you. It is a museum dedicated on teaching new ponies how to survive. Oh nice, we’re here! Let’s start now then. So, every so often, a pony appears out of nowhere on an island in a random spot in the world. We don’t know why, but it just happens.
We know about this because of our enderscope. It is an amazing invention, that allows us to sense when a new island is spawned with a pony. After many years, we’ve documented all 20 island variations, and programmed the enderscope to track when those builds appear instantly. Before it was made, we don’t know how many ponies must have died out there all alone. Of course, they could have survived by gathering materials from nearby islands. There are so many randomly generated islands that ponies don’t spawn on, that we are still discovering more of them!
1st
Now you see, we teleported you here using the same technology that the enderscope uses. Using ender power, we can teleport ponies to our museum, by concentrating the enderport device on the ender particles in your body. You see, in every ponies body, there is a small amount of ender particles. The enderport, which tracks on to those, can pull the particles with its host to it. Normally it takes from 20 to 30 minutes for it to get a hold of all of the particles, but it got all of your in a record of 5 minutes! Good thing too, because once anything falls in to the unreachable zone, they are almost certainly gone forever. They will fall until they starve to death. If you touched the other island, the teleportation progress would have restarted because if the target moves a certain amount of blocks, the enderport can’t “see” it anymore. Any other questions?”
Dreamur was speechless. That was a lot of information to take in all at once.
“No questions? “ Pinkie Pie asked, “oh well, might about talk about the history of our sky city.”
As they continued to trot through the lengthy room, Dreamur looked around at the interesting items on display, there was a dirt block labeled first dirt block spawned in this world. He wondered how they would know that. There were also things like replicas of all the kinds of spawn islands, and other islands too. He looked at them, and found the one that’ll spawned on. It was called “Chest of Fate”. He wanted to examine it in more detail but he could do that later, so he speed up and continued to trot alongside to Ms.Pinkie.
In the beginning, a pony named Blorckits was spawned on the survival island. That was the one with the wooden chest with things to survive. If any pony was careful, the island would be able to self sustain itself forever. Blorckits worked hard, and began to explore. Just like every other pony after him, he didn’t have any memories from his past. Slowly but surely, the pony expanded his island using his cobble stone generator, which he had build with the items in the chest. A precise source of lava and water would create a unlimited supply of cobble stone. The pony finally mustered up enough courage to explore other islands. Overtime, he discovered other ponies that has spawned in like himself. He felt obligated to help them, for himself being the veteran, and began to bring the ponies back to his base. Eventually the base grew and grew into a town, then a city. That is where we are right now! They collected and crafted advanced technology, such as the teleporter that saves so many lives. The history of our city is so amazing, and I’ll be sure to help you learn all about it during your stay!”
“Umm, yeah sure, sound fun.”
“Alright then, but first let’s go to the other pony we rescued. Normally most ponies wake much after you did, because the teleportation drains their energy. The body naturally regenerates more ender particles, so it’s okay. There are no lasting effects. Oh yeah, and the island you spawned is called “Chest of Fate”! I’m sure you were wondering about it, after you saw it in the glass casing. It’s super rare, and the item inside the chest is determined by the pony.”
Pinkie Pie told Dreamur to take a right turn, and they entered a hallway. There were two doors at the end, and He realized that it looked like the ones he had came through in the beginning.
“Are these the ones I came through earlier?”
“Oh no, the doors and patio look the same, but there is a different patient in the room at the end.”
They pushed past the doors, and to the patio. Dreamur started for a couple seconds, until he was ushered away by Pinkie Pie.
“Alright, let’s go see who the other pony is then,” Dreamur said. ‘Can’t wait to meet another pony!
They pushed past the second pair of doors, and entered the room. Dreamur immediately noticed that the pony was a mare. She was a unicorn pony like him, and her fur was pure white, unlike his which was light brown. She was laying down on a chair that looked like the one that he woke in, and the room looked the same too.
As they walked towards the mare, the jolted awake, and shot up. Her eyes widened in fear.
“Who are you ponies,” she asked uncertainly.
“Don’t worry,” Pinkie Pie assured, We’re here to help you. I’m Pinkie Pie, and this is Dreamur”
She looked over at him.
“Hello,” she replied sheepishly.
“Hi
“Well then,” Pinkie Pie said, “ you both must be ravished, so we have food in the kitchen if you’ll just follow me.”
At the promise of food, the two ponies followed Pinkie Pie through the museum to the kitchen. It took some time, because the white mare stoped to observe her surroundings more than once. Dreamur understood, that’s what he had done when he passed through it. The kitchen was through an administrative door, and was not small. Pinkie Pie told them that they could grab a bag of oats and milk for themselves and sit down to eat them. Dreamur chose plain oats, and grabbed them and sat down, and the mare choose the same.
“Hey, what’s your name?” Dreamur questioned.
She looked up from her bowl, and replied, “ Powder.”
“Hmm, that’s a cool name, I’m Dreamur.” He reached his hoof out to shake hers.
She took it, and gave him a firm shake.
Pinkie Pie had just returned from getting her confetii flavored oats, and said, “aw, isn’t that nice, making friends already? Now we can all be friends! The more the merrier!”
Dreamur and Powder smiled, Pinkie was just so energetic.
They listened to Pinkie talk about how much she loved friendship, until Dreamur decided to talk about the situation.
“So, what kind of island were you on?”
“Huh?” Powder questioned.
“Well, you know the island that you woke up on, what was there? I was on a small island with only a chest with an enderpearl. It was a pretty tough spawn.”
After a sigh, she replied,” well, I was on a small island like yours, and there was a chest on it with food and more materials that I didn’t touch. I just layer down on the floor and ate my food, until I blacked out and woke up on another island, although this one is much bigger than the other. It’s just so weird how it floats with out any supports.”
“I know right?”
“Wait, Dreamur asked, “did you forget all of your memories too?”
“Yesh, I was so confused!”
Dreamur smiled. He already felt closer to this stranger, just because of the experiences and similarities that they shared. He had almost forgotten that Pinkie Pie was there, until she dropped her bowl in to the sink, with a loud clatter.
“Alrighty!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed, “it’s time for us to go on to something important that both of you have to do.”
Dreamur got up and pushed back his chair, then levitated his and powders empty bowls into the sink. They followed Pinkie out the “Authorized Personnel” doors, and walked to the front of the museum.

A normal pony’s stats would be dived with 28 points.
The three ponies looked up at the ginormous doors. The doors reached the roof of the museum, and was about three stories high.
“They’re quite beautiful, aren’t they?” Pinkie Pie muttered, “When Blorckits founded this museum, he lifted these doors with his own horn all by himself. Just shows how strong that pony really was. The doors must at least weigh two tons.”
“What!” Dreamur exclaimed, “ That’s impossible, I can only lift about 50 pounds with my telekinesis.”
“Of course though,” Pinkie Pie replied, “He was using some of the many talismans that he had obtained. It was a
strength X, which are impossible to get because there is only one in existence.”
“What’s that?” Powder asked, as they pushed past the doors.
The ponies walked on a gravel path towards a small shack, while Pinkie Pie replied, “ Well you see, talismans are one of the many things that we found in the islands. Some islands have loot inside of them, and ponies raid them for it. The talismans, are kind of rare but not uncommon to see on a normal pony. They can aid the user with specific buffs, for example, strength talismans increase the user’s strength. The number after it, is how strong the effect given is. The strength five, can increase a ponies strength by five extra points. Each pony typically has an even amount of special points, divided between their different abilities. During your sleep, we scanned both of you, and you both have 28 special points, the average amount in a pony.”
“Well, how many talismans are there?” Dreamur questioned.
“So far, there are 100 known ones, but there are more being found all the time. We’ve only been here three years you know right?”
“No, you never told us that.”
“Oh sorry. We can talk about our society more later, but first we need to go to the rehabilitation center, so just go into the shack right there.”
“What that’s the rehabilitation center that we are going to stay in?” Powder asked in confusion, “it’s only the size of a room.”
“Hahah, no silly,” Pinkie Pie chuckled, “the shack is how we are going to get to the rehab center.”
They opened the door to see a giant translucent tube going out the back of the shack.
“Com’on, this will lead the the rehab island, I have to stay here, but there will be more ponies to help you at the other side.”
“Why can’t you come with us?” Powder asked.
“Well, I have to take care of the museum, a lot of other reasons. It’s okay though, I’ll see you when you come back up! Have a safe journey!”
“Meh, I guessed so,” Dreamur muttered.
Dreamur stepped up to the translucent pipe. Should he go in? It was to late to think about it, as he had already put his front hooves in, and felt it sucking at his body.
Oh well , he thought to himself. He stopped resisting, closed his eyes, and let it suck him in.
