"Fluttershy darling, why are you taking me shopping for animal collars? Surely you don't need my input on this kind of thing."
The taller mare sank down, trying and failing to hide her blush behind her cascading mane. Her eyes scanned the ground. "W-well, you remember a month ago we were talking about that… thing? You know the one."
"Ah! Yes, the thing. Is that something you wanted to explore?"
Fluttershy nodded, forcing herself to fix her gaze on Rarity for at least a moment. "Mhmm. I was hoping you could help me pick out a cute… a cute collar."
The smile Rarity gave her nearly killed her on the spot. So soft, so genuine. She was radiant. "Of course! I'm so happy you want my help with this. I hardly know why a good girl like you needs a collar but I suppose that's to be seen, hmm?"

They walked in silence for a while, giving Fluttershy some time to collect her thoughts. It was nice having friends who didn't always need to talk. "Well, we're here." 'Here' was a very unassuming brown brick building in the outskirts of town. There was a single hoof-made sign hanging in front of the door announcing the name: The Lucky Stallion.
"I… Didn't know this place existed."
"Me neither until I started looking." Fluttershy was relieved when Rarity took the lead and pushed the door open. At the sound of the door chime the portly mare working the front counter put her magazine down and smiled.
"Well hiya! You girls lookin' for anythin'?"
"Yes, we were wondering if you could point us towards the eh… the collars and such."
“Oh sure, they’re gonna be right over there. Lemme know if ya need anything!”
‘Right over there’ in this instance meant tucked away in the back right corner of the store. Fluttershy was glad, honestly. Even in a place like this where everypony was there for a similar reason, it still made her feel… awkward. They made their way past a few aisles of various shapes, sizes, and colors of lingerie. She could almost feel Rarity turn her nose up at the displays. From what Fluttershy had seen her own personal collection put this place to shame.
As distracted as she was, she nearly ran into Rarity when she came to a complete stop. Had they reached their destination? No, it appeared not. Instead… a shelf full of riding crops and whips.
“Oh.”

When Rarity followed the line from hoof to item she chuckled. She brought it up to her face and turned it over in her hooves a few times, appraising it as she would a precious gem. The smile on her face only grew wider as she did. “Purple and white, hmm? Just can’t wait to be mine, can you?” Rarity turned to face her and slipped the collar around her throat. “Perfect.”
Fluttershy’s breathing nearly failed her as the collar touched the skin of her neck. Between what Rarity had said and the sensation of the velvet against her coat it took all her strength not to fall apart completely. She couldn’t help but whimper. When she came to she was back at Carousel Boutique. How long…? It was impossible to tell, given the blackout curtains pulled over the windows. Pinkie rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out. Apparently she just did not understand Pinkie’s motivation here. “Not make them drink it! That would be weird. I was gonna make some delicious pastries with it!”
“Ah, of course! Pastries. Way less weird.” Twilight was firmly in the ‘no milk’ camp for all of thirty seconds before she crumbled under the weight of Pinkies pleading eyes. “Fine, I’ll help. You said you knew where the book was, yeah? Lead the way.”
Four grams fenugreek, two grams blessed thistle, a quarter cup of sugar, a splash of fresh milk… Twilight liked making potions. Rare was the opportunity that she actually got to do anything with them that this was… kind of fun! Having Pinkie along for company certainly didn’t hurt either.
“So potion making is kind of like baking?”
“Basically! Just instead of putting the finished product in the oven you have a unicorn handy to activate the magic element of the potion while you, the imbiber, focus on the concentration portion of it.”
“Hmmm… So if you’re so good at making potions, why are you so terrible at baking?”
Twilight scowled. “Pinkie, do you want my help or not?”
Her marefriend giggled before straightening out the almost-perpetual smile on her muzzle. “Yes, I do.”
“Great. So drink this and then… concentrate on images of motherhood. Additional suggestions are flowing white fabric and running water.” To her credit, Pinkie absolutely knocked back the strange brew they had put together. She immediately screwed her eyes shut, forehead knotted in focus.
Twilight stepped back and focused on handling the magic portion. Her job was a lot easier - maintain a harmonic magical field around Pinkie in order to lend energy to the transformative aspect of the potion. A little moan escaped Pinkie’s lips as her body began to change. That noise was typically reserved for tender touches on the inner thigh so whatever was happening must feel… kind of good.
Pinkie’s eyes shot open and a mile-wide grin spread across her muzzle. “IT WORKED! YOUR POTION WORKED!”

Twilight rolled her eyes and trotted out with a tray full of muffins. “Here you are, compliments of the lovely baker there.” She floated four pastries out to each of her friends. They hadn’t even touched the table before Dash had eaten one, muffin cup and all.
She returned to the counter and stood next to her marefriend, surveying the carnage. They… really enjoyed them. Pinkies baking was always superb but this was something else. In the time it took her to walk back more than half of the muffins on the table had been laid to waste. Twilight felt an overwhelming wave of guilt crash over her.
“Don’t you think we should tell them?”
“YES! I can’t waAAAait . I actually can’t wait. EVERYPONY! I WANT TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!”
The room froze. Twilight felt like her life hung in the balance. Battling Tirek wasn't even half as nerve-wracking as this.
"PINKIE CONVINCED ME TO USE MAGIC TO GIVE HER TEATS SO SHE COULD PRANK YOU BY USING HER MILK AS AN INGREDIENT AND I'M ONLY JUST NOW COMING TO TERMS WITH HOW HORRIBLE THIS IS."
"I CONVINCED TWILIGHT TO HELP ME MAGIC SOME TEATS ONTO MYSELF SO I COULD PRANK ALL OF YOU BY REPLACING REGULAR, BORING MILK WITH SPECIAL PINKIE MILK! GOTCHA!"
The reaction in the room was… mixed. Rainbow Dash and Applejack took the whole concept in stride while Fluttershy was a little more bashful, finishing the muffin she was eating before shrinking down into her chair. Rarity cast a desperate glance around the room, the muffin she had been chewing already spat out on the table in front of her.
"Well, speaking for Fluttershy and myself I have to say I don't much appreciate this 'prank'. While the muffins were quite delicious it really is irresponsible to involve your friends in something they were unable to properly consent to. I'll be having a discussion with both of you later."
"I dunno Rares, milk is kinda hot so… what's the deal?" The look Rainbow received was enough to silence her completely for the next hour.
Pinkie looked like she was about to burst into tears and nearly did as she choked out an apology. "Y-you're right Rarity. I'm really sorry. I didn't stop and think about what I was doing or if it would hurt somepony I love."
Rarity’s gaze softened and a warm smile returned to her face. "It's alright, I think we forgive you. Now then, why don't we finish these muffins?"

Okay, so maybe she was a week early for the cider harvest. Two weeks. A month. Fine, so she was two months early but c'mon. Sweet Apple Acre cider was kind of a Huge Deal. Speaking of huge deals, Applejack was making a pretty big one about not giving up the cider that she knew she had.
"Dash Ah'm not gonna tell you again: we ain't got any cider!"
Rainbow Dash leaned in, a smug smile on her face. AJ would fall for her charms in no time. She was certain of it! "Listen, Applejack. I understand that you don’t want word coming out that you and your family started cider production early. I get it! All I’m saying is that we’re friends and that you can trust me! Your secret cider is gonna be safe with me.”
If the ears flattened against Applejack’s head were any indication she was starting to get genuinely mad about this. Rainbow Dash was about ready to cut her losses until… “Alright, Ah’ll let you in on a little family secret.” Applejack cast a few conspiratorial glances around the entirely empty barn. “We do have one barrel of cider. It’s been agin’ for a while now but Ah gotta say: It tastes awful . Kinda like… Like a mare in heats’ piss. Real nasty stuff.”
Rainbow Dash had to stifle a blush there. “Wow Applejack, you know what piss tastes like? I get that you’re country n’ all but don’t you think that’s going a little far?”
The look Applejack gave her would have vaporized a lesser pony but it was just enough to cow Rainbow Dash. “D’you want the damn cider or not?”
“Y-yeah, I’ll take the cider. Thanks AJ. Sorry for bein’ such a drag.”
The smile that crept its way onto Applejack’s face seemed almost sinister. “Don’t worry about it Dash. Ah know how you get over yer cider. Ah'll be right back.”
If Rainbow Dash was any less herself she would be worried. The phrasing Applejack was using, that look she had on her face before she disappeared into a back room in the barn… She tried to push these doubts from her mind and assume the best case scenario: there was a shitty barrel of test cider hidden in this barn that the Apple family didn’t want and she would get to drink the entire thing in one sitting. She’d be rendered basically comatose for the rest of the day afterwards but she didn’t have anything else planned besides this, so...
Applejack disappeared into the back of the barn just far enough to where she was certain Dash couldn’t hear her. That off-hoof comment about mare piss wasn’t entirely unfounded. She had been intending to use the restroom before Dash showed up but her desperate insistence to bring her cider that didn’t exist waylaid that plan pretty harshly. So… she’d find another way to relieve herself and her dear marefriend would suffer the consequences.
Applejack stood over the toilet, bracing herself against the wall with one hoof and holding the empty mug in the other. Once she was done with this that mug would probably have to be destroyed but hey, gotta break some eggs to prank your marefriend. She eased up control of her bladder and her piss came out in a clean, even stream. She made sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day but there was just enough yellow to pass it off as a shoddy cider. She finished up and made her way back to Dash, struggling her hardest to keep a devilish smile off her face.
Rainbow Dash nearly jumped out of her seat on the rickety old picnic table she had commandeered. “Applejack! There you are! I was worried you got lost there babe.”
“Yeah, the spigot was a lot rustier than Ah was anticipatin’. Ah got yer cider right here though. It’s pretty warm cause we figured it wasn’t worth refrigeratin’ on account of the fact that it tastes awful n’ all.”
“Listen, I don’t care what temperature it is so long as it-” Rainbow Dash stopped dead in her tracks. Her nostrils flared as the tart smell of fermented apples hit her muzzle. That much was to be expected. There was an acrid undertone though; it smelled kind of like... She gave the mug another good whiff to make sure she was smelling what she thought she was smelling. Her ears swept back against her head and a deep crimson blush spread across her muzzle. The tips of her wings shook themselves out on their own. Did… Did Applejack know?
Rainbow Dash took a sip as it was clearly what was expected of her, regardless of what Applejack did or did not know about the things she enjoyed in the bedroom. She was certain she had never shared this with anypony other than Shy and Twi. It tasted… sweeter than she was expecting. The warmth of the liquid and the subdued note of cinnamon made her loins quiver. Oh Stars that was good. She bit her lip as she set the mug down.
“So. Whaddya think, Dash?” Applejack seemed a little confused but it was clear she was trying to maintain a sort of braggadocious stance.
“It doesn't taste great but… I dunno. I kinda like it.” Without waiting, she knocked back a couple more gulps, some of her friends piss dribbling down her chin. She licked it up for good measure.
“Rainbow that’s - yer - yer drinkin’ pee, darlin’. Did you not notice?” Applejack seemed genuinely worried for her marefriend.
“No, I - I noticed.” Rainbow Dash sucked in a breath, trying to stabilize her nerves. It didn’t help that she was definitely aroused at this point but now Applejack thought she was loony. “I have… a thing. For piss. Which you accidentally kind of played into. I can like, dump this out and leave your barn and we can never talk about this again if you want, but. I figure now is a good time to come clean.”
Applejack wavered for a moment. Rainbow could see she was weighing her options, having a proper moral debate with herself. She turned back to face her marefriend with the debate settled and the verdict in hoof. “Ah understand. Ah got some particular tastes that Ah’m more than a little embarrassed by. So tell you what. You finish up that there 'cider' and then skedaddle cause Ah still got work to do. Come back in a few hours and Ah think Ah’ll have s’more for ya, straight from the tap. On one condition though.”
Rainbow Dash brightened up. Not only did Applejack NOT think she was a freak but she was willing to indulge her. Score! She finished up her drink before responding. “Whatever you want, babe.”
“Don’t come back 'till them hooves are nice n’ pretty.”
Rainbow Dash blushed something fierce before letting out a hearty chuckle. She winked in affirmation before taking off, leaving a wet spot on the bench for Applejack to appreciate.

“Thank you so much for going shopping with me!”
You lean into Fluttershy as the two of you walk down the leaf-covered trail back to her cottage. Her wing falls over your flank and a warmth fills your heart.
“Oh, don’t worry about it too much. Always happy to help, especially when it’s for my friends new kitten!”
“Yeah, I think she’s really gonna appreciate this bed we got her. Oooor she’s going to keep sleeping on my head.”
Fluttershy giggled. “That seems much more likely but hey, the thought is what counts. That’s what Rainbow Dash says at least.”
“I’m sure she does!” You’re both laughing now, your mirth bouncing off the barren trees. You’re thankful for the scarf you bought today. You didn’t have much warm clothing after moving to Ponyville and the thick wool is already putting in a lot of work. You tighten it with your magic idly.
Ponyville is… a big change from Las Pegasus. You were working there after getting your Cutie Mark. You loved helping ponies and customer service was kind of like that but you always knew there was something more. So you took the plunge and moved out to the country. Fluttershy was one of the ponies who first helped you get on your hooves, giving you plenty of work to do around her animal sanctuary.
You had become quick friends, going so far as to help hold things down when her and her friends went on their crazy adventures. It was pretty cool knowing an Element of Harmony but it was even cooler knowing Fluttershy herself. She did seem kind of worried tonight though.
“You’re… feeling okay, right?”
“Hmm? Oh yes, I feel fine. Why?”
“Well I just remember you being kind of apprehensive about going out tonight. I know things can be kind of scary, especially around this time of year but… I dunno. I’m here for you no matter what.”
Fluttershy smiled but the look on her face told you there was still something hanging heavy over her head. She avoided your gaze, preferring to look out at the setting sun instead. The rays filtering through the trees made her coat look like it was alight. She really was beautiful. “I’m not… I’m not that afraid of anything out there. I’m afraid of me .”
What? “What?”
“I want to let you in on a little secret but you can't tell anypony else, okay? Not even Twilight or any of the others. I mean it!”
“Okay, okay, you have my oath of secrecy. What is it?”
