Everything is going so poorly, that I, the Narrator, start off with a problem. Anyway, *ahem, ahem* now, the story starts off with a certain purple unicorn waking up... "SPIKE! DID YOU LEAVE THE ANTI-MATTER MICROWAVE ON LAST NIGHT?!" yelled Twilight Sparkle. She woke up to find that the kitchen had been devoured by a black hole named Tom, who seemed to always come when someone had left the anti-matter microwave on for too long. "Sorry Twilight, I was watching a movie, and I wanted some popcorn," said Spike. "Don't worry, I just need to repair the kitchen." said Twilight Sparkle, "Welp, time to go on the next adventure!" "Okay, have fun! I will be upstairs, see you later," said Spike. Five minutes later... "I HAVE TO DO AN EXAM ON THE EFFECTS OF DARK MAGIC! AND I'M NOT READY!!!" shouted Twilight Sparkle, "Ohhhhh no," whispered Spike, "Aha! If i use dark magic, I can know the effects of dark magic! It's the perfect plan!" said Twilight Sparkle, "This is gonna be a long day," said Spike. He sighed, knowing the chaos that was yet to come... "Wait, what about Pinkie Pie?" said the Narrator's friend, "Oh fine, wouldn't be any harm learning about her morning." Pinkie Pie woke up groggily, however she was excited to make her most favorite food... Cupcakes of course! However, making cupcakes is a dangerous task, with the most rare ingredients, some even found in the Everfree Forest! But Pinkie was prepared for the task. However, making cupcakes is not a task to do alone, who should she come with? She pondered with this thought for awhile and decided to go to Rainbow Dash, because of her excellent flying skills. She went in a hot air balloon to Cloudsdale, however it took her a while, as she went in the wrong direction fifty times. She went towards Rainbow Dash giant Mansion, only to learn that the door was locked. "Oh well, guess i better find her later!" said Pinkie Pie, as she realized that her hot air balloon had flown away without her. "What about Applejack?" said the Narrator's friend, "Oh fine, if you want." Applejack had done hard work the day before, so she was pretty tired when she woke up. "I'm going to take a nap," said Applejack, not noticing what she said, she got up to make breakfast, she was going to make pancakes that day. "First, add three eggs," read Applejack, she put in three whole eggs into the mixing bowl, "then add a spoon of milk." she read. Applejack added small carton of milk and placed it on top of a spoon, she then dropped the spoon into the mix. "Then add flour." she read again, she added some flowers into the mixing bowl, she skipped over a important part of the recipe, and accidently started reading Pinkie Pie's Cupcakes recipe, "then bake for an hour." she read, she put a ten hour timer on the oven,, Two hours later... "Why do i smell smoke?" said Applejack. "What about Rarity?" said the Narrator's friend, Oh well, if you say so... it was a dark and stormy morning... "OF ALL THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED TODAY, THIS IS THE WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!" said Rarity, "Why?" said Fluttershy, "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH!" "AHHHHHHH!" screamed Fluttershy, "YES 'AHHHH!' I HAVE TO REMAKE MY DRESS FROM SCRACH!" "OH NO! THAT'S TERRIBLE! BUT THIS IS REALLY HURTING MY THROAT, CAN WE STOP SHOUTING NOW?" "Of course, Fluttershy," "Also, all my animal friends are running away from me, and it's really upsetting because they usally don't mind being around me. But now they do!" "OF ALL THE THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TODAY, THAT IS THE WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!" yelled Rarity, "YEAH!" shouted Fluttershy. Meanwhile, somewhere in Ponyville... "There are not enough MUFFINS! Do you know how much boss likes muffins? We are going to be fired!" shouted one of the mail ponies. Suddenly, a mare in a tuxedo, tophat, and sunglasses, busted through the door, with a muffin in one hoof, and a... muffin in the other, took off her sunglasses to reveal... "Muffin?" said innocent Derpy, generously offering a muffin to each of the mail ponies. However, one of the muffins dropped off of her hoof and toppled onto a duplicater. Then it started to rain muffins (this would have been a muffin dream for Derpy). But the favourite food of the magic sharks in the river of Ponyville, is muffins. As Derpy watched magic sharks soar through the sky, she knew that this was gonna be a long day. "Sister, the Sun is refusing to get up, can you send the Moon to talk to it?" said Celestia. "Sorry sister, the Moon is refusing to rise as well," said Luna. Celestia and Luna were in the Mane Hall, there were flowers inside pots between the curtains, and the curtains were made of magic silk, and the doors were made of solid gold. "How are we supposed to do our jobs if we can't do them?!" said Celestia. "I don't know." "Spike! I found the most horrible dark magic, but I'm going to need your help to cast it." said Twilight Sparkle. "I dunno Twilight, this seems like a bad idea on all levels," said Spike. Meanwhile, at the Boutique... "OF ALL THE THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TODAY, THIS IS THE WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!" said Rarity, "YEAH!" said Fluttershy, Meanwhile, at Sweet Apple Acres... "Hey, what's with the Fire?" said Applejack. Meanwhile, at Cloudsdale... "HOW AM I GONNA GET BACK TO PONYVILLE?!" said Pinkie Pie. Meanwhile, at the Ponyville post office... "Oopsies!" said Derpy. Meanwhile, at Canterlot... "HOW ARE WE GONNA DO OUR JOB?!" shouted Luna. "HOW DO YOU THINK WE ARE GOING TO DO OUR JOB?!" shouted Celestia. "I DON'T KNOW! DO YOU?!" shouted Luna. "NO! I DON'T!" shouted Celestia. "Well, let's look in the library!" "Good idea!" They went into the library, to find a book on dark magic, "Wait, is this the book of dark magic? Let's read it!" said Celestia, "spell of ice cream depletion that's not it! the spell of sun and moon stopping, aha! That's it!" said Celestia, she read further, "Wait! There is no counterspell?! And the only one who can stop it is the one who cast it?! How are we gonna stop this now!?" "I have no idea." said Luna.

"Actually, last time you did something bad, she didn't banish you, so you are probably fine, " said Spike. "Yeah, but this is really bad! Dark magic, WOULD banish you from Equestria," said Twilight Sparkle. Celestia's royal guards knocked down the door, they were both pegasus, and had gold armor. "Princess Twilight Sparkle, if you see someone casting dark magic please tell us." "Why though?" said Spike, because of the expressions on their faces. He could tell they didn't know how to respond, "okay then, bye!" said Spike, They left the room. "Um, why are there magic sharks outside the castle?" asked Twilight Sparkle. "No idea." Meanwhile, at Cloudsdale... "Oh hi Pinkie, what are you doing here?" said Rainbow Dash. "I got stuck up here when I came to ask if you wanted to make some cupcakes!" said Pinkie Pie. "Okay, want a ride down to Ponyville?" she asked. "Sure!" Rainbow Dash started flying Pinkie Pie down to Ponyville. "So... How... Are you... Doing?" asked Rainbow Dash, awkwardly. Suddenly, she accidentally flew into a mountain. BAM. "Youch! That hurt!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash. She got very dizzy and fell to the ground, luckily, right inside Ponyville. "Well, here's your next stop-" said Rainbow Dash, flying away. "WAIT!" Pinkie interrupted. Rainbow Dash came to a stop at the sound. "What is it Pinkie?" asked Rainbow Dash. "I came up to Cloudsdale to make cupcakes with you! Would you like some?!" said Pinkie Pie, holding a cupcake with blue sprinkles and icing. "Sure Pinkie!, I would love one!" Rainbow Dash ate the cupcake. "So, what do we do now?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Now," her voice took on a darker tone rather then it's cheery one... "WE GO ON A EPIC ADVENTURE FOR CUPCAKE INGREDIENTS!" shouted Pinkie Pie. Her cheery tone resumed, "BUT FIRST, LUNCH!" she said. Rainbow Dash realized that she was really hungry, so they went to the cafe. Meanwhile, at the Carousel Boutique... "Oh this is most simply DREADFUL!" said Rarity, on a fainting couch. "I have to agree Rarity, but first, have you considered lunch?" asked Fluttershy. "No, but now that i think about it, I do feel awfully hungry at the moment," she said. "Let's go to the donut shop, if that's okay with you," said Fluttershy. "That sounds simply delightful! However, I do think that we should work on this dress afterwards, what do you think?" said Rarity. "Good idea! Let's go! I have a map of Ponyville so we don't get lost. I'm going to lead the way if that's okay with you," she said. "Okay!" said Rarity. The cafe was full of customers, all because there was a new special flavor on the menu, "super blueberry lemon surprise!" However, Rarity's favorite was something else, and Fluttershy just didn't really go to the donut shop as of late, so they all decided to go and get one "super sugar filling donut" and one "lemon pop donut." "Hello, can I have one super sugar filling donut, and one lemon pop donut?" said Rarity. "Sorry, we are all out of those flavors today," said the donut seller. "WHAT?! YOU NEVER RUN OUT OF THOSE FLAVORS!" yelled Rarity. "I'm sorry, just seems customers enjoy those flavors most," the donut seller shrugged. Meanwhile, at Sweet Apple Acres... Applejack was having a hard day, she had already failed at breakfast, and she had to make lunch. She decided to make a sandwich, so she read a cookbook, "first add a slice of bread," "shred? Oh! It must mean spaghetti!" she said, she added some spaghetti to the plate, "then add a tomato," she added a whole tomato, "then add a piece of cheese," it looked blurry. "Oh! It must mean 'then add a piece of pizza!'" she added a piece of pizza to the bowl, "then add lettuce." "Ah! That must mean at a piece of paper!" she added that, and more spaghetti. "Um, I'm not sure if that's edible." Meanwhile, at the Equestrian Post Office... "Um, boss?" said the mail ponies. "What is it?" asked Derpy. She had gotten into some bad situations, but this one had got to be one of the worst. "We are hungry, can we go get some lunch?" they inquired. "Sure," said Derpy, "can I come?" "Yeah!" they said, in chorus. "Sadly, we have to fix the magic shark problem." The mail ponies smiles instantly vanished. "Okay..." they said. 'This can't be too hard, right?' Derpy thought, 'Yeah, I just have to stop thousands of magic sharks. By myself.' Meanwhile at the Royal Canterlot Castle... "HOW CAN WE STOP THE ONE DOING THIS, IF WE DON'T KNOW WHO'S RESPONSIBLE?" shouted Luna. "I don't know! Wouldn't they like, reveal themselves, or be like 'hey! We are evil! if you don't give up Equestria, we will (insert villain plan here)' wouldn't they do that?" said Celestia. "Sister, some villains choose to be more... secretive, with their plans. Not every villain is going to go to our castle and say 'muhahaha! i'm evil! give up Equestria or I will (insert villain plan here)' it's just not predictable!" said Luna. "I guess that's true, sister, we may just have to wait. In the meantime I am making pancakes now." At the castle, Twilight and Spike are considering... "Spike! We might be sent to the Canterlot dungeons! OR WORSE! THE MOON!" said Twilight Sparkle. "Twilight! it's going to be fine!" "NO IT'S NOT!!!" Meanwhile, at the cafe... "I'm so dizzy..." said Rainbow Dash. "Don't worry it's fine!" said Pinkie Pie. Meanwhile, at the donut shop... "WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE FLAVORS WE WANT THAT ARE RUNNING OUT?!" shouted Rarity. "I don't know, but it's sure inconvenient," said Fluttershy. Meanwhile, at Sweet Apple Acres... "WHY CAN'T I MAKE A DECENT LUNCH?!" Meanwhile, at the center of Ponyville... "Um... well this is a problem" said Derpy. The rest of the mail ponies sighed, "it sure is." Meanwhile at the royal Canterlot castle... "This is not good! We need to protect Equestria sister!" said Celestia. "I need pancakes right now to protect anything," Luna sighed. "I dunno Twilight, lunch seems to be a pretty needed activity for y'know, nutrition." said Spike. "Well it's already the afternoon WHICH MEANS WE ARE LATE!" Twilight paused for dramatic effect, Spike just rolled his eyes. "We can still eat lunch you know." mumbled Spike. Suddenly, the guards from before smashed the door. Again. "Oh come on! I just finished building that!" moaned the construction worker, who had been walking away. "Were you just standing outside the door?" asked Spike. The guards thought about it for a second, and came up with an answer. "Um... Yes." they said, thinking about changing their answer. "Um... No." they said again. "Um... Yes-no." they said. They decided to go with that. "So, we came to tell you, princess Twilight Sparkle, that a evil villain has cast some dark magic, please be on the lookout for powerful unicorns." "ABANDON SHIP!" shouted Twilight, she took spike and ran for the hills. "We're not even on a ship." mumbled Spike. Turns out, there was no hills, so she just ran into a wall. Twilight sighed. Meanwhile, at the edge of Equestria... "I'm so tired Pinkie, can we just go home?" Rainbow Dash asked. "No! We can't just turn back now!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "Fine, what the next cupcake ingredient?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Ancient dragon's tears of course!" exclaimed Pinkie. "Okay, where's that?" she asked. "Right there!" Pinkie Pie pointed to a big mountain with a dragon in it that was breathing magical fire only Starswirl could remember the name of. "This one is easy!" she exclaimed. She took out a bottle and holded it under the dragon, the dragon roared with pure fury, in fact, so much pure fury that tears were starting to suddenly exist out of thin air all around it. Pinkie pie started to gather as many tears as she could, then it was all filled and she closed the cap. Rainbow Dash let out a sigh of relief, " I thought that something bad was gonna happen for a moment-" suddenly, Pinkie Pie tripped and the bottle cracked, all the tears flew out of the jar, until there was one left, "Guess we are only gonna be able to make half as cupcakes today." she said grimly. "Well we could go to the Mane Room of Illegal Spells to cast a duplicating spell!" offered Rainbow Dash. "True! Let's go tonight!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "Sounds good! See you there Pinkie!" said Rainbow Dash. "I'm sure there is no side effects." she thought. Meanwhile at the Carousel Boutique... "Not to be mean, but when can we be done?" said Fluttershy, "I don't know, hopefully soon." After a few minutes of pure boredom, Rarity was reaching towards the sewing machine as the chair she was on toppled over and created a domino effect across the room, first the shelves, making all the yarn fall out, then the mannequin, who then suddenly, toppled over the dress she had made, making her have to start all over. "Awww." they both said simultaneously. "If only there was a way to go back in time to fix this!" Rarity exclaimed. "Um, there is..." said Fluttershy. "Where is it, darling?" asked Rarity. "Um... It's in the Mane Room of Illegal Spells in Canterlot..." said Fluttershy, weakly. Rarity gave her that 'why do you know that...' look. "What? I read the blueprint for the castle because I didn't want to get lost..." said Fluttershy. "Well let's go there, tonight! We don't want to have to get caught because we did it in the afternoon, do you, darling?" said Rarity. "Okay, see you there..." said Fluttershy. Meanwhile, at Sweet Apple Acres... Applejack went to get some apples, so she went and bucked the baskets, then the apples vertically ascended, 'wait, what? Apples fall when i kick the trees, not vertically ascend!' she thought, she was confused by this change of events, so she just went back to sleep hoping everything would be fine. It was not. She woke up from a nightmare and continued trying to get the apple trees to make sense. It still didn't work though, so she went to Twilight's to try and find a way to stop the apples from vertically ascending, Applejack knocked on Twilight's door, Twilight Sparkle opened the door, and was surprised it was Applejack, and not the royal guards that had gone through the door. and it was not only her that was relieved that it was Applejack, as the construction pony was getting tired from having to fix the door fifty times. 'finally, somepony actually using the door knob.' Thought Twilight Sparkle. "What is it?" Twilight Sparkle asked. "My apples are vertically ascending, and I need your help." said Applejack. "Okay, I know just the spell to fix that!" exclaimed Twilight Sparkle. "There's just one problem..." "What is it?" asked Applejack. "We will have to go to the Mane Room of Illegal Spells in the Royal Canterlot Castle..." Twilight said. "Okay, well as long as we don't get caught, were fine, heh, right?" said Applejack. "Yep!" said Twilight, "see you there at midnight!" "Okay!" said Applejack. Meanwhile, at the Equestria Post Office... "All this crazy stuff is making me hungry," said Derpy. "Sister, so far no one has caught anyone using dark magic." said Celestia grimly. "I hope soon the culprit will be found, and Equestria will be at peace again." said Luna. "I hope so too, sister." "You know, sister, have you ever felt like the whole world looked like a cartoon?" said Luna. "Now that you said that, yeah, it kinda does." "And that maybe everything that's happening could just be a fiction, based on a cartoon?" said Luna. "I know, right?" "Anyway, enough deep thinking, we have a world ending villain to stop!" said Luna. Meanwhile, at Twilight's castle... "Spike! There is a reason to wear the tight uniforms!" exclaimed Twilight Sparkle. "Except for looking like a shadow?" asked Spike, Applejack nodded. Meanwhile, at Sugarcube Corner... "Pinkie, now that I think about it, what if the dark magic has side effects?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Don't worry! I'm sure it's fine!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "And how are we gonna use the magic?" asked Rainbow Dash. "... Um, I have experience in using unicorn magic as an earth pony..." said Pinkie Pie. "Do you have a manual on how to do it?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Yes actually! here it is!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie, she gave Rainbow Dash the manual, "Thanks!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash. "No problem!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. Meanwhile, at the Carousel Boutique... "So, this is how we are gonna be able to make the dress easier?" asked Rarity. "Um, I think so." said Fluttershy. "Anyway, um, do you like the disguises?" she asked. "Um... they are very... pretty..." offered Rarity. "Thanks!" said Fluttershy. Meanwhile, at the Equestria Post Office... "This is gonna be so fun!" said the mail ponies. "I agree!" said Derpy. They put on fancy disguises as to not be recognized, Derpy wore a pitch black suit, that blended in with the shadows, and all the other mail ponies put on their own fancy disguises. Meanwhile at Canterlot... "Sister... I'm getting this strange feeling that something really epic is going to happen tonight." said Celestia. "I understand sister, I just can't wait for tonight for some reason!" said Luna. "I hope it includes us, because today has been really boring, aside from, you know, us not being able to control the sun and moon." said Celestia. "Well, it's getting late, good night sister." Spike said. "Okay, Twi, let's go in," said Applejack. "WAIT!" exclaimed Twilight Sparkle. "What is it?" the others said. "The guards are here!" she exclaimed. She stood still as a statue... "Hey! I think I heard something over here... Oh wait, it's just the statues making noises again." The guard walked away, and Applejack let out a sigh of relief. "Let's go through the window," said Applejack. "Actually, does anyone have something to break the window?" "Yes, I have a hammer," said Spike. "How do you have that?" said Twilight. "To... Y'know. Break this window..." said Spike. "Anyway, counter spell! Here we come!" Meanwhile, the group of cupcake bakers develop a plan... "So, what's the plan?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Let's go through that window!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "Hey! I think i heard something over here... Oh wait." Rainbow Dash looked at the "newly formed statues." "Don't worry! Those statues make noises all the time, trust me." Pinkie Pie whispered. "Okay, then I guess it's just the statues making noises again." said Rainbow Dash, "wait a minute. Why are they by the window?" Pinkie giggled. "That one is wearing a hat like Applejack!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Well I have an idea," Rainbow Dash said. "What's the idea-" suddenly, the "guards" broke the window, and went through it. "Well, I guess that works too, I guess..." said Rainbow Dash, they went through the window too. They found a guard whining by the curtains. "THE CURTAINS ARE TACKY! I CAN'T BELIEVE THE GUARDS HAVE TO LIVE BY THESE DREADFUL CURTAINS!" said the guard. "I never knew that the castle guards whined," whispered Rainbow Dash. "Well, um, maybe we could, um, go to another hall..." whispered the other guard. "Oh, I'm sorry for scaring you, darling." the other guard whispered. "Well, let's go Pinkie! I think I see the Mane Room of Illegal Spells right there!" she pointed somewhere. Meanwhile, at the hall... "Um, Rarity, I think we blew our cover." Fluttershy whispered. She pointed at two guards. "Quick! Run!" exclaimed Rarity. They ran through the hall and into the Mane Room of Illegal Spells. "We found it!" exclaimed Rarity. "Now let's get that time spell!" "Um, where do we find it exactly?" asked Fluttershy. "Oh." said Rarity realizing that the Mane Room of Illegal Spells was kind of huge. Suddenly, they heard a guard speaking. "It was under universe changing spells!" exclaimed a guard. "We just need to go to the Starswirl time spells category," said Rarity. "It has it's own category?" asked Fluttershy. "Yep!" exclaimed Rarity. "Um, well, I guess let's go there then," said Fluttershy. Meanwhile, also in the Mane Room of Illegal Spells... "Let's make code names so that we know who is who without getting caught!" said Derpy. "I will be Rubber Ducky!" exclaimed one of the mail ponies. "I will be A-fellow-guard!" another exclaimed. "I guess I will be Apple." another said. "Wow! This is super fun! So, what are we supposed to be doing again?" asked Rubber Ducky. "I think we are supposed to be finding a spell to get rid of the magic sharks!" said A-fellow-guard. "Okay, A-fellow-guard!" exclaimed Derpy. "Let's go and find the spell!" However, no matter how hard they looked, they couldn't find the spell. "Maybe we should look in the counter spell section!" they looked. However, instead of finding the spell, they found three guards. "Oh no! We need to hide or we will be caught!" exclaimed Derpy. They hid: A-fellow-guard hid under a bookshelf, Rubber Ducky hid behind a potted plant, and Apple hid behind a table with a bowl of fruit on it. Luckily, the three guards walked away, but not without taking the counter spell book, which they desperately needed to fix the magic shark problem. "Oh no!" said Derpy. A-fellow-guard stood up to face the three guards. "Hello, I am A-fellow-guard, and you are going to give me that book." said A-fellow-guard. "Well uh, we need this book because, uh, we need it to save, uh, Canterlot, from a uh, tentacle monster." said one of them. "Right Applejac-guard?" the other guard nodded. "Well I do too, so, uh..." Meanwhile, in the Mane Hall... It was getting close to morning, but that didn't stop Luna from having to make dreams. But, at the moment, she couldn't help feeling like she was being left out of a super epic pony battle or something of the type. She learned that the sun and moon were moving on their own, but that didn't stop making Luna feel like something terrible was happening. Meanwhile, Celestia, was still having to fix the problem. Soon Celestia would have to do her daily check of the Mane Room of Illegal Spells, it was not just her who knew that... Meanwhile at the counter spell category of the Mane Room of Illegal Spells...
