Night of a New Moon

Solaris POV

I used my magic to catch the filly when she passed out. Doing a scan I checked to make sure she was ok all I could get was that the stress and panic had come to at tipping point for her. Lifting her in to my arm I walked down from my throne so I could take her to the infirmary for a doctor to look at her.

"Sir." I looked up and found Shining Armor and the Elements staring at me.

"Yes Captain how can I help you?" I asked giving him a rehashing smile.

"Well um.. it's about the filly, Sir." He nervously shuffled in place and kept glancing from me to her. "Are you sure its safe to trust her?"

"As of this moment we know nothing of her other then her name. I'm going to take her to the infirmary to have the doctor's check her over and let her rest. I want you to send two of your guards to guard the door. She may be agitated when she wakes up. I know you all want answers as do I but we will have to be patient and wait till she awakens. I'm the mean time please find my brother and then all of you meet me in my study."

Walking down the halls of the castle I keep look down at her questions popping up as to who she is and were she came from.

Walking in to the infirmary the nurses and doctors all stopped and looked at me. Hello everypony could some one lead me to a room and have a doctor take a look at her?"

A nurse took us to a room and had me put her on the bed. I left telling the guards to escort her to me in the throne room when she wakes up. Before leaving I gather all her armor, weapons and bags.

Moon POV

Groggily I started to wake up slowly I looked around the room I was in. Seeing all the medical equipment led me to think i was in the medical wing. Pushing the blanket off I found that I was left in nothing but my underwear. Searching the room I found most of my clothes I couldn't find my jacket or battle skirt. My armor, bags and weapons were missing.

"Girls, Oi need ya ta go and find my stiff." I growled with an annoyed tone.

Nyx and Erebus came out from my shadow. "Leave it ta us sis well let ya know when we find da location." Erebus said and Nyx nodded as they walked back in to the shadows.

Getting dressed I walked out of the room only to be blocked by two guards in black armor with the symbol of a gold and silver sun and moon on the breast plate.

"Sorry little filly but we can't let you leave without putting this on." One of the guards said now knowing it was a mare. She held out a magic canceling bracelet.

I roll my eyes and snatch it from her hand and put it on. "Whatever."

"Now follow use we were told to take you to the throne room when you got up." The other a stallion ordered.

I bite back a retort and follow them to throne room. The ponies that we pass got out of are way fast. That could have been due to the fact my face read I was ready to kill somepony. I was far from happy having all my stuff taken from me and even more so treated as if I was a prisoner.

"Buckin' lap dogs" I muttered under my breath as we got to the throne room doors.

"Stay silent runt." The stallion ordered hitting me in the back with hit spear.

"Touch me again and Oi'll open da door by puttin' ya through it!" I snapped at him.

"Shut up and do as ordered!" He barked back and hit me once more.

Grabbing the front of his armor I moved him in front of the doors and round house kicked him in the stomach. The impact from the kick caved in his stomach armor in to the doors pushing them open and him to the other side of the room stopping and the stairs of the throne. I then stomp my way in to the room leaving the stunned mare.

"Buckin' dumb cunt!" I hissed.

Stomping us to the group of ponies and alicorn I stopped finding the sword at my throat. "Halt!"

I turn my head and find it to be Shining Armor. "Or what lad?" I asked in a board tone.

I was about to reply but was cut off. "Now now that is quite enough the both of you." Solaris said removing Shinings sword with his magic. "Now my dear may I ask why did you hurt that guardstallion?"

"Da twat keep hittin' me in da back with his weapon so Oi told 'im he keeps doin' it Oi was goin' to open da doors with 'ih." I told him with a small shrug.

"I see" he hummed looking at the downed guard for a moment then removed the guards chest plate. "Captain please have the guards take him to the infirmary and the rest of them leave the room."

"Sir?" Asked the dumbfound captain.

"You heard what I said Captain Armor. Now do as I've told you." Solaris said nodding his head.

"Sir yes sir." He said doing as he was told.

Solaris walked to a side door and asked the six ponies from earlier to come in to the room. When the six see me waiting in the center of the room they stop and just stand there.

"Now then with everypony other then my brother present why don't we get to know each other a little better?" Solaris said smiling and waving the others the come with him as he made his way over to me.

"Befor that could I get my clothes back and I dont mean the armor I mean the belts skirt and jacket?" I asked.

"No" Said Shining Armor.

"Yes you may." Solaris said.

"But Sir. I don..." Shining Armor stoped when Solaris popped my clothes in to his outstretched hands.

"Tapadh leibh Solaris" (Thank You Solaris.) I gave him a smile as I took then from his hands and put them back on and found something missing. "Um.. Do ya know were my collar is?" I asked checking all my pockets for it.

"*pfft* Yeah be happy you have what you have." Shining mocked.

"That was a gift ya bastard!" I yelled balling my hand ready to hit him.

"Umm.. " Solaris looked at me then nodded his head and popped it in to his hand. "Now before I give this back to you could you tell me what the gem in it is for?"

"Its a two way communication crystal set ta a private frequency." I say holding my hand out giving him a pleading look.

He smiled down at me. " thank you for telling me the truth." He handed it to me.

I generally held it giving him a thankful nod before putting it on.

The doors to the throne room opened and a night blue alicorn male alicorn walked in with a night guard. When the two reached the group the guard took one look at me and placed herself in between me and the alicorn.

"Hello brother. You asked you asked to see me?" The blue alicorn asked still looking sleepy.

"I did indeed Artemis, I thought you would like to meet Moon Rune here." Solaris said guiding me in front of his brother the smirking. "Your daughter that you never told me about Dear brother."

I froze on the spot as did Artemis but not the rest of the room "what!!"

"We.. we our sorry but what!?" Artemis asked using the RCV at the end.

"Yes you see when little Moon Rune passed out and I took her to the infirmary I had the run a few test and look for her next of kin. Lo and behold the results came back as you being her father."

"I... but.. I.. how?" Artemis was not the only shocked party at this point I was just as confused.

"Now how about we all go to the dining room and we sit down and talk...yes? Good." Solaris said ushering us to the dining room.

"What just 'appened?" I ask still overly confused.

"We two have no idea." Prince Artemis stated sitting next to me.

"Now brother, let us cut to the main topic of this matter shall we? When were you going to tell me you had a daughter?" Solaris pouted. "You should have told me."

"But we don't have a daughter!" Artemis started defensively.

"But you do the blood test showed that you are her biological father." Solaris continues to point out.

"Ok now hold up!" I say drawing the attention of the room. "Oi know my parents thank ya very much ya daffed foul!"

"Right sorry, I'm getting off topic. Now the ponies in this room are as you may know the Elements of Harmony and My brother Prince Artemis." Solaris said waving his hand over the group. "They are Butterscotch the element of kindness, Applejack the element of honesty, Rainbow Dash the element of loyalty, Elusive the element of generosity, Bubble Berry the element of laughter and Dusk Shine the element of magic."

"Well its nice ta meet ya but Oi need ta talk ta the Princes and only the Princes." I say staring at the two alicorns.

Solaris nodded to the group and they left the three of us to talk.

"K, so Oi'm goin, ta be blunt. Ya know Oi'm not from this world Sol so if ya could help me get home that would be cool." I asked hopping he would just outright say yes.

"Your right my dear I did know. And if you could tell me how you got to this world I will see what we can do." Solaris said. I spent the next half hour telling him about the mirror and the magic after touching it. "Could you take us to the mirror?"

"Yea" I got up and lead them to the room the I found the mirror in. "That's the blood thing." I said pointing to the mirror.

Solaris used his magic to scan the mirror. "It will take some time so figure this thing out. In the mean time I would like you to go down to ponyville in the morning, at least for the day."

"Oi *sigh* Fine." My shoulder fell in defeat knowing that if this is a male version of Aunt Tia nothing will change his mind.

I walk the halls of the castle trying to clear my head. Passing door after door and pony after pony I wound up stopping my the royal baths. Walking into the baths I find that unlike back home It has no attendants which I fine with me. Putting my cloths in to a basket I shower off then get into the large bath and let out a relaxing sigh.

"Hum..hummm"

Dusk Shine POV

'Who is that filly? The way she acts and speaks is almost as if she is board. On top of all that Prince Solaris was making jokes about her being Princes Artemis daughter.' I think as me and the gang heads to the royal baths.

"So did any of you colts see the way that filly was caring her self?" Elusive asked. "And her outfit was interesting a pleasant blend of function and fashion."

"Oh tell me about it I really need to ask her how she keeps her coat in such condition. With how buff she was she has to have a secret for it." Rainbow said.

When we got to the baths we all put our cloths in to baskets and head into the showers.

"~ My mother's pup dances in darkness ~"

"Hay does anypony hear singing?" I ask walking to the bath.

"~And sings heathen songs by the light of the moon ~"

"I do Dusk and I recken its gettin' louder to." Applejack says.

"~ And watches the stars and renames the planets ~"

"My what a lovely voice." Elusive says getting a nod from the rest of us.

Reaching the bath we stop seeing the filly Moon Rune standing in the center of the bath swaying and singing the song we were hearing with her back to us.

"~And dreams she can reach them with a song and wings ~

~ My mother's pup curses too loud and too often
My mother's pup laughs to hard and to long
And howls at the moon and sleeps in ditches
And clumsily raises her voice in this song ~

~ Now we all are brought forth out of darkness and water

"Wow" I was at a lose for ward and so were my friends as well.

Moon Rune looked over her shoulder at us and I got ready for her to scream seeing six stallions standing there naked just staring at you.

"Well this is surprisin'." Moon Rune said confusing me.

A brief moment of silence she spoke up.

"If the lot of ya are gettin' oin tha bath ya might as well. Standin' and lookin' at only makes ya look foalish." She said tuning around to face us.

"Oh, Oh my" Butterscotch said covering his face with a wing.

"Ahh!" Berry, Applejack and Elusive yelled.

I turned the other way and covered my face.

*splash*

I looked to the guys and saw Rainbow missing from the group.

"So I must know what do you use to keep you coat in such lovely condition?" I could only gasp hearing Rainbows voice behind me.

"Rainbow Dash, you know better then to look at a naked lady!" Elusive yelled.

*snort* "Yea the lot of ya to have to worry about seein' me naked. Oi work with guards so we shower together." I could only wounder if the gourd really do that or if was wherever she was from. "Now as ta your question. Oi just wash and brush every mornin' and boom my fur is like this all I do lass. Ya don't mind if Oi call ya lass do ya?"

"Girl Please, I swing both ways so your fine." Rainbow told her.

I just keep my back to them and eyes shut. The others finally gave in and got in to the bath with them but I held my ground. I could hear the laughing after somepony whispered something. I could feel some thing soft and wet touching my chest and the others snickering. Cracking open my eyes I look down and meet Moon's eyes looking back at me.

"Dusk, are ya ok? Ya don't look well." Moon asked pressing herself closer to me.

"I.. Um.. um.." I take a step back and she follows.

She takes a step back reveling her body to me so out of respect I look up. "Dusk ya know ya can look at me right Oi don't give a shite."

"No no I think I'm good thank you!" I tell her backing up even further away from her.

"Ya might want ta stop backin' up lad." She snickers.

"Wha.." I don't get to finish asking what she meant when I fell in to the tub.

"HAHAHAHAHA"

"See not so bad in the bath now is it Dusk?" Moon teased.

Moon POV

The guys an I spent time talking about this and that and we all got ready for dinner. Entering the dinning room I spotted Solaris and Artemis at one end of the table. Princess Cadance with Shinning Armor to the right of the Princes with a empty seat. The guys take up spots as I take the one by Artemis.

"Moon I know that I asked that you stay in ponyville for only a day but if you could I would like you to spend the week?" Solaris asked giving me an apologetic look.

Sighing I give him a nod. "Oh Oi'm goin' ta need my bag If Oi'm staying for a week it has a change of cloths and so on in it."

"I will have It returned to you in the morning." Solaris said

Next morning

I was outside waiting for the chariot to ponyville when the sound of wings got my attention. Looking over head I could see the chariot flying over head getting ready to land. Once landed I watch as the two pulling it unhitch and start loading the bag that were on the platform. I was going to let them be till I saw my bag and stopped
them from loading it with the rest of them.

The guys and the Princes came down and got any last minute stuff out of the way. I got a small list of things I was to avoid doing. We took off and I looked at the country side thinking about Mum, Aunt Tia, Scoots and Midnight. The lot of them must be worried that I just up and vanished. Flying over the Everfree I spot the old castle and freak out the others by jumping off the chariot. Landing I take a quick look around and then head to town.

Getting to town I see a gathering in the center of town and head over to see whats going on.

"Ok ponies we have a missing filly in the Everfree and we need to go find her befor she gets to lost of hurt. Her last know location was the Castle of the two brothers." A stallion said pointing to a big map for all to see.

"What does she look like?" somepony asked

"Why would she go off on her own?" Said another.

Hearing all that I know they were talking about me. "Yea, Ya can call off the search!!" I yelled getting the attention of the group. Looking it over I could tell that the male to female rate was flipped from back home.

"Well that is not what we were expecting. Ok everypony you can all go home."

The crowd left only leaving the elements and me.
