Night of a New Moon

Luna POV

Walking in the the medical wing of the castle I make my way to the front desk looking for the night shift nurse. Ringing the bell a nurse comes out from a side room.

"Good evening princess Luna how can I help you?" she asks with a bow

"Evening to you as well. I came to see about getting a full panel done and health check for the little one." I tell her and point to Moon sitting a bench in the room. "and if you could can you get doctor Cross for me?"

"I can do that princess if you and the pup would follow me to a exam room then I will go get the doctor." She lead use to the room then left to get the doctor.

Waiting about five minutes the door opened and the doctor and a nurse walked in.

"Hello Cross how are you doing?" I ask the doctor

"I'm doing good Luna." Cross says be for turning to Moon "And a hello to you I'm Doctor Blood Cross and this is Nurse Stitch. Now before we start if you could tell use the basics for the records. Name, age, sex, and species then we can start."

"Name Moon Rune, I'm 16, female, lunar pegasus/wolf hybrid." Moon tells cross.

Cross pinches the bridge of her muzzle and sighs "Luna why do you bring me all the odd ones?"

I smile and look at her "What? your the best night doctor I know and I trust you."

"Fine! Miss Rune if you could strip down to your skivvies and sit on the bed we can get all the tests going." Cross says pointing to the exam bed.

Moon takes off her jacket, shirt and pants leaving them on the side of the bed. Getting a good look at her for the first time. She has light umber fur and wings with purple at the edge of each feather. Dark brown mane and tail with a purple highlight. Purple eyes with slit pupil's the sclera of her right eye is black but the left is white. She has the muscle build of a athlete or guard. Four large scars on the left side of her stomach running from her back to the front. Scar on her left cheek down to her jaw, one running over her left shoulder and a dozen or so on her left arm.

"*whistle* You young lady have seen a fight or two." Cross stated looking her over. Moon just shrugs. "Ok lets get a listen to your heart. Deep breath in then out."

I watch the doctor listen to her heart, sight, and hearing. Take her height and weight. She checks her teeth and a number of test that I don't understand.

"Now if you could stand in front of the scanning scree we will get your x-ray and magic system scans." Cross takes the scans then tells her to sit back on the bed. "Last we need to get some blood and a saliva samples and by the time we get all that the scans will be done printing."

As the doctor takes her samples the nurse takes notes. When finished the doctor and nurse look over the scans before putting them on a light board.

"Well as far as health go's you are in top health. You have a good amount of muscle for a 16 year old and a 6 pack that would put some of the guardsmare's to shame. Your tall for your age and around average weight. Your vision and hearing is good. The scars you have are a little worrying but you are in perfect health. Now your scans confuse me a little." Cross walked over to the scans and looks at them rubbing her chin. "Your bones are dense but hollow and if I have to guess it has to do with your wolf and pegasus heritage. Now as for your magic system. You have some thing close to a alicron but more complex."

"Is that bad?" Moon asked getting dressed

"No, it just means you have a extremely large magic pool." Cross tells her "Well with that done is there anything the two of you need to ask?"

"yea actually I do. If you could run a DNA test of her and my blood by morning that would be good?" I ask

Cross and the nurse look at each other then me "I can and I'm going to ask now. Is this a confidential matter that is not leaving this room?"

"S rank so only my sister and me." I tell them

"Got it. Have a good rest of the night you two and you young lady. Go take a bath you smell like death." Cross says leaving the room.

"So now what?" Moon asked

"Now I find a maid to prepare you a room for the night. But in the time that will take." I pause and grin "I and taking you to the royal baths."

Moon POV

Luna and I walk down the halls of the castle. We stopped by one of the maids on the way to the baths so a room could be made for me to stay in for the night. Luna told me that I would be getting a real room tomorrow. When we reach the baths she leads me inside only to find is more of a spa then a bath.

"Welcome to the royal baths. How may we help you this evening?" A mare in a white skimpy outfit asks

"Hello Lavender. Ill have the usual and young Moon is in desperate need of a bath." Luna tells the mare

"Well then Miss Moon if you would please put all your clothes on a basket we will have it washed as you are taking your bath. Once your done doing that one of the ladies will lead you to the showers and baths." the mare tells me

'The is the strangest baths ever' I thought placing my panties in the basket with the rest of my clothes. Walking out I'm meet with another mare in a skimpy outfit.

"If you could please follow me to the showers." She asks and leading me to them.

Getting in to the shower I give a sight "This feels good." I say to nopony in particular dumping a water over my head to finish rinsing off. I let the mare take me to the baths to relax.

With the bath over Luna shows me the way to my room. Entering the room I put my bag down and pass out in bed till morning.

Next Morning

The next morning I'm woken by a knocking on the door. Groggily I roll out of bed and walk to the door. Opening the door is a maid. "Can I help ya?"

"Um..I'm here to take you to breakfast Miss Rune." The maid tells me

"Right let me get some pants on. The Princesses might not like me showin' up with out them." I head back in to the room and put my pants one then leave with the made.

"So can I get your name las?" I ask

"I'm Feather Duster Miss Rune." She tells me

"Well Miss Duster it was nice ta meet ya but looks like we are at the dinnin' room. And las no need to call me Miss I'm ta young for that." We then part ways. On the way to my seat I swipe the cup of coffee and pot siting on the table. Luna enters the room with a platter of food in her magic.

"Um....sister did the maid forget my coffee?" Luna asks putting the food on the table.

Celestia just points at me "No"

I just blink as the pot is floated from in front of me and replaced with pancakes. We eat are food and talk about what is going to happen today at one point a maid came in and handed Luna a envelope.

"I have the results from the blood work Tia of you could put a soundproof spell up?" Luna asked and Celestia did. She opened it then handed it to her sister. "Well the test show that you have a 86.5% DNA match to me."

"So now what? Can we still go with what I asked last night or do I have to do the whole princess thing?" I ask them

"You can live a normal life. Go to school for the two years you need to be a guard." Luna tells me or is it mum now

"The only one's that will know that you are a princess are the ponies that you wish to tell and the royal family. You will be assigned a guard when you are not in school of the castle." Celestia tells me

"Right I guess we should be about our day then yea?"

Luna and some of her night guards took us to Celestia's School for the Gifted. I was told that school was out on brake and would be back for the second half in a week. I was led to a room and given 5 tests for normal studies and 4 for magic studies. When I was done with them I was taken to a training ground and tested for the basics. Partway in to the testing a teacher came running in and over to Luna.

"P-princess *huff* princess *huff* you have *huff* to see the test results *huff*" The teacher handed the papers over to Luna

Luna looks over the tests "Moon could you come over here for a moment?"

I jog over "Yea how can I help ya Princess?"

"I just got your test back and the only two you didn't ace are magic theory and magic rune theory." She tells me

The teacher puts her two bit in "With the results you really don't need to be in the general study of the school if you are going for the guard you would just need to be at school every other day for training."

"Well If I have the option I would like ta be in school for both so I can keep up with the rest of the school." I tell them

"Yes you can and Miss Rune I will have a class schedule in the mail to you for classes monday." With that she leaves and I get back to my test.

With all the testing out of the way Luna explains to me that I will be in the 3rd year classes. leaving the school we find Cadance waiting for us. She congratulates me on passing my tests and drags me to the shopping district of the city.

"Ok so our first stop is going to be furniture then the phone store and that lunch followed by clothes shopping. You will have so much fun." Cadance cheers "This is one of the best furniture stores in the city."

Looking at the place I pick up a alicron size bed, 4 book shelves, a nightstand, large dinning room set. On Luna's recommendation I pick out 2 desks, a family size sofa, 2 smaller sofas, 3 coffee tables and some sofa chairs. With the furniture done we go to a phone store.

"Hello how might I help you today?" a stallion ask when we enter.

"Yes we need to get a phone for Moon Rune could you help use sir?" Cadance asks

We walk to the counter as he pulls out two boxes "I have the Celestial S10 and the I-Moon 11."

"The I-Moon 11!" Luna and Cadance say at the same tome I just shrug.

"All right. Now what color phone and what apps would you like?" He hands me a slip of paper

"Could I get it in purple and with note pad and music apps please?" I hand him the paper back

He nods "Ok I'll be right back. Oh before I go do you have and devices with music you would like copied over?"

I shack my head no but Luna and Cadance hand him there phone and ask of he can copy the music from them.

He comes back holding the phones and a box "Ok This is your new phone and I copied over the music from the Princesses so you have over 10 thousand songs form every genres."

We leave the store and get some lunch. At lunch I look over my phones manual from cover to cover. After lunch we go to more stores for clothes then I know one could I had to make a compromise at some stores. Cadance tried to get me to buy nothing but dresses and skirts but we made a deal. I let her pick me out some outfits so I know have 5 or 6 skirts. The next stop was a uniform store so I would have them for school.

"Cadance I not gettin' all female uniforms I'll get one and four male." I tell Cadance

"Come one Moon! You are a girl you should dress like it at on school days." She counters

"And one day every other week I will." I look over to Luna "Can ya please tell her I ain't gettin' all female uniforms?"

Luna taps her chin thinking before smiling a smile that sends a chill down my spine "OK. Moon you get the uniforms that you want but starting now till the start of school you have to let Cadance pick your outfits."

"Fine!" I grown "Ach comharraich mo bhriathran bidh dìoghaltas agam." (But mark my words I shall have revenge.) I point at her then go with the seamstress.

When the seamstress has all my measurements I ask for a copy. Getting the clothes from Cadance I change in to a white button down shirt, gray skirt and black hooded jacket and just to get under her fur, I change into knee length sports short and sports bra.

Looking at the uniforms in my opinion are ok. The female uniform is a white dress shirt, black skirt, cream color sweater vest and black bow tie. The male uniform is a white dress shirt, black button down vest, black dress pants, suspenders and black tie.

As we go back to the castle I spot a store that looks interesting. "Hey ya think I could get some bits? I want ta take a look?" I tell them pointing to the store 'A Mares Dream'

Luna and Cadance blush looking at the store. "Cadance be a dear and go with her would you?" Luna says

Cadance looks at Luna like she was crazy and shacks her head "No no I'm going to stay here and wait. You can go."

As I watch the two going at it I take the bits from my bag "Ya guardsmare tell them that I'm inside after they get done with that little chat they got goin'" I point to a night guard before walking into the shop.

Looking around the store I spot everything that a mare could have fun with. I grab a basket and start going done each row. I pick up some play colt posters and magazines. In one section I pick up a dildo and a strap-on some two pairs fuzzy cuffs. In the accessories section I find a nice black double strap collar, purple lining and loop and dee. I pickup some piercing kits and earrings and a tongue piercing. Happy with what I got I go back and grab a extra poster of one wonderbolt captain, some fur dye and other tings for a couple of pranks I plan to pull.

Getting to the chaser she gives me a funny look "Can I Help you?"

"Na I found everythin' I was lookin' for and some." I chuckle

"All right let me see what you got and get you one your way." She takes the items in the basket out and rings them up "6 magazines, 5 posters, 2 dildos, one strap-on, 2 pairs of cuffs, 1 collar, 9 piercing kits, 1 tongue bar, 8 earrings, and a bottle of fur dye. Your total comes to 563 bits."

I pull out my bit bag and start counting "Here you go ma'am."

"Thank you for your business. I'll get you a bag for your purchase." She packs everything in two large bags the gives them to me.

Leaving the store with a wolfish grin I get back to the group. The princesses were still going at it which was funny It took me 30 minutes in the store.

"Hay pup whats with the grin?" One of the guards asked

I chuckle and motion for her to come over then show her whats in the bag. Her face lights up the moment she look in the bag.

"I-I h-have no words." She stutters trying to compose herself

"Don't think about it ta much most if this stuff I plan ta use to prank some ponies." I give a big toothy grin showing my fangs.

After the Princesses got done we all went back to the castle. Luna said that the room that she had arranged for me was ready so she took me to it. She led me to a part of the lunar wing. Entering the door she told me was my room I dropped my bags and jaw at the doorway. Looking around the place it was the size of a house with a set of stairs leading to another floor. When the last guard caring all the bags left the room Luna started to take me on a tour of the place.

"This dear is your apartment. On the main floor you have the living room, dinning room, kitchen, bathroom, and a office." She showed me each room before taking me up the stairs. "The second to fourth floor all have a large bedroom, walk-in closet and full bathroom. You are on the fourth floor with the room facing the city."

Opening the door I find some of the stuff that we picked up shopping. Luna teleported all the bags to the room told me that she would be back later for dinner so I had time to unpack.
