Death coldView OnlineA cold StormDeath coldDear Princess Twilight, It sure was a long day for all of us. And I know that you would like to hear about every single detail about what happened so I won’t hold back! There were some quite interesting news about Flaming Star ponying up and him beating up some bullies. Everyone was talking about it today, as if they’d forgotten that we won against Crystal Perp just the day before! But it was after school that we saw the storm building and felt the chill from miles away. The weather had been nice since that morning, then suddenly the freezing wind was dead cold. It was just at this time that Steely Armor came to us. “Hey, that is not a normal storm!” “Well, yeah, I can see that and we are just in the middle of fa-“ Rainbow Dash was answering but she got cut off buy Steely Armor. “No, I mean it’s magical!” We were all shocked when he said that. “But how can you say that?” Twilight asked, stepping forward. “My ability, it lets me to see magical auras. And that storm has a lot of it!” That’s when I tried asking for help from you by writing in the journal. But by the time you answered we were already packed up and ready to go. Steely Armor insisted on coming with us and Flaming Star decided to come along and watch over him but they couldn’t fly or run as fast as us or Rainbow Dash after we suited up. So they couldn’t keep up with our speed and they got left behind, which was what we intended since we were certain they couldn’t handle it. The Storm was right on top of the Mall. But what was shocking wasn’t the storm, but the frozen people in the area. They hadn’t dressed for this kind of weather. Neither had we. “W-what happened here?” Fluttershy asked, her voice shaky because of the freezing weather of the place. I decided to give her a heart-warming answer. “I don’t know, but we’ll find out and make it stop!” “You b-b-better d-do it fa-fa-faster ‘cuz I’m freezing t-to death!” said Rainbow Dash as she was hugging herself hard, as if that would keep her warm. “So what did Princess Twilight say?” Twilight asked me. She and the girls seemed kind of confused when I repeated what you said about the Widigos! “Too bad none of us has any fire magic,” I said as I blew into my hands to try and warm them. “And this is one time I wish my canons fired something other than confetti!” I didn’t know what answer I could have given Pinkie Pie, so I stayed silent. It was then we saw her: a lonely girl in the middle of the Mall. She was walking slowly, and seemed to be cold. “Hey!” I called out to her, “could you please tell us what exactly happened here?” But as she turned around I saw that her face was faded, that it barely had any color. I called to her, “Are you all right?” “StAY BacK!” “What?” “STAY BACK!” She shot some kind of a beam at me but I managed to dodge it. I guess fighting against Flaming Star has taught me something. Heat the ChillView OnlineA cold StormHeat the ChillDear Diary, Today was just SUPER MEGA WEIRD! Just after school finished, the weather decided to change on its own and say “Herpy derpy, I’m gonna be stormy and cold today and you can’t do anything to stop me.” Seriously, this morning was the sunniest day I’ve ever seen in Fall and then all of a sudden you will see giant storm clouds in the distance. Anyway, after that Steely inspected it. It turns out to be a magical storm which isn’t something new considering how messed up things were yesterday with me transforming. But yeah, after that we informed the girls about it. They just changed their clothes in front of us. (Now that I think about it, it sounds creepy...). I mean, they touched their necklaces and transformed as well as changing their clothes to a superhero kind (that’s better) and after that they flew away to the storm like it’s nothing. They didn’t even wait for us. “So what do we do now?” Steely asked. I gave him a look and the clue. “Are you thinking of what I’m thinking?” “Racing?” The look he gave me was like “Yo, out of every time you beat me this is the time I’m gonna beat you!” So we got ready: he and his toys and me and my body. 1 2 3 GO! We chased them down all the way from school to the Mall. We couldn’t catch up to them but we could close the distance. Which we did, just before I crash-landed on ice. Yeah, ice. I was shocked too, but when Steely and I looked around, we understood what a freezing hell we were in. Everything was covered in ICE! From every structure to every person. Now you see why I say it was SUPER MEGA WEIRD! We stepped inside the frozen mall, staring at every frozen thing in there, wondering what has happened here. “You got anything on your sight?” “Yes. In fact, I can see the girls right th-“ He then got shot by a beam that froze him there. And I just couldn’t believe what has happened, so I shouted “STEELY!!!” as I stared at my frozen friend. I took off my gloves and warmed myself to melting his ice. But just after I got started, Twilight Sparkle came to me. “Hey, Pinkie and Rainbow are frozen, too. Can you please help?” “Yeah, sure, but I have to fix him first.” “But we need them now!” “And he needs me now!” “If you help them, we can fix all of this. Trust me.” “Why should I?” “Because that’s what friends do!” When she said that, I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t decide. “Hey,” she said, “I promise we’ll bring everything back to normal.” “......FINE!” Then I went over to them. They were frozen in a weird way, like I couldn’t make out what they were trying to do but I tried to just focus on melting their ice. When I was done, I just went back to Steely right away. I really felt bad for leaving him hanging. But when I was still in the middle of the process, a blast of rainbow came and turned everything back to normal. A cold heartView OnlineA cold StormA cold heartAs i turned back to take a look on what had happened, I saw Flaming Star at the end of the hallway with the frozen Steely Armor. “How did they get here?” I asked but I forgot that I had a bigger problem. “Watch out!” Rarity shoved at me and held a crystal barrier in front of me which blocked the other beam that she shot. She didn’t hesitate for a second and shot a beam directly at Rainbow Dash afterwards. She managed to dash out of the way but she couldn’t stop afterwards and crashed into Pinkie Pie, then they both slid all the way right next to the one they wanted least. She just froze them right away. “S-Stay AwAy FrOm Me!” she said and walked away. She wasn’t fast but we needed to take care of other things rather than go chasing her. But we couldn’t lose her either. “Rarity and I will go after her and try to tone her down, you try to find a way to get them out of ice.” Then I pointed towards Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. She wasn’t so fast; we caught up to her really easy, but she didn’t let us get close a lot. She shot another beam at us, thanks to Rarity it didn’t hit us. So I thought I’d try and talk to her again. “We don’t want to hurt you, we are here to help you.” “YOU! HeLP? Who ArE You to HELP me!?” She constantly shot beams at us, which told me how serious she was. I told Rarity to get closer so I could touch her, but she wasn’t sure that was good plan. “Do you really want to do this, darling?” “Yeah, just get me to her.” So we got closer and closer, till I could actually touch her but we needed to let go of our protection for that to happen. We also needed to time this correctly. Just when she held back a little I took the chance and took hold of her hand. Her hand was cold, as if it was ice! I saw that she broke her mirror. I saw her working in a clothing shop but she wasn’t nice to people; her co-worker gave her commands non-stop and it was just cruel. I saw that she found a crystal, it was like the geodes we found in the Crystal Cave at Camp Everfree. Just when she picked it up the crystal went through her chest; after that everything started to freeze. Then she froze her co-worker. And everyone she saw. After I released her hand, she said “ Don’T TouCH ME!” and then shot another beam at me. But Rarity kept me in cover. “She really hates people being around her,” Rarity said as she got close to me. Then I realized what her problem was.” “Hate. Exactly! She hates herself so she also hates others, too.” As Ii said that she fell to the ground and struggled to stand up. “Should we help her?” Rarity asked me. She seemed weak; why? Then the idea came to my mind. “If her heart is filled with hate, it is likely for her to freeze, too. That’s why she is so cold and weak. She isn’t freezing from outside, but from inside. It isn’t a power she chooses to use on others … OK, maybe it was once … but right now it’s killing her, too!” The rest of the girls showed up afterwards. We didn’t have much time so I just told them to get close. We all sat down around her. It was then that Fluttershy said “H-hey, wh-what should we do?” I remembered that you told me the only way to destroy windigos magic is with love. “We need to give her love, or else her heart will freeze. Everyone, hold each other hands and think of what we mean to each other. I don’t know if it will work, but I can’t think of anything else. She’s getting colder and colder.” We all did as I said. But this time I felt a warm feeling through me. As I opened my eyes, everything was back to normal. But then I asked myself “What happened to her?” We all looked at her face; it was bright and alive. After a while she opened her eyes. We all stepped back to give her some air. She stood up and thanked us. I could tell something was different about her now. The first stormView OnlineA cold StormThe first stormPrincess Twilight! This is an emergency! There seems to be a giant storm coming from the Mall that is freezing everything! This is too serious! Sunset Shimmer, There are some mystical creatures called the Windigos that spread cold and freezing weather. They feed off of hatred, and the more there is the colder and worse the weather will get!
