Chapters Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
FLASH SENTRY THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN ISSUE #2 REBOOTED: ELECTRO! Written by: SpideyFlash
It was a cold, stormy, rainy, night in Canterlot City. Droplets falling onto the ground, cars, everything! Non stop. A lot were at home, enjoying the nice warmth inside away from the showers. The only sound that could be heard were car horns as the streets were clogged at this time of night. It was after all a busy city day and night. Not to mention how bright the city still looked at night, all the street lights, buildings everything lit up the city in multiple colors at night.
But somewhere deep underground in the city, a place that is so secluded and was not even able to be accessible to the average person. This was a place that did morbid experimentation on the human race.
A scientist was on a computer, on the monitor, it displayed a diagram of a human body inside a huge glass cubical tank. "Big Man are you sure you want this to go through?" The scientist turned to man in iron like coloured skin and pupiless eyes, wearing a blue suit.
"Yes.." He had a very deep and somewhat raspy voice, "Unless you want to opt out Zek?"
Big Man turned to a blonde headed young man who wore a suit that could store over 500,000 volts of pure electricity and who was trapped onto an gurney, held by strong straps, almost as if they were metal handcuffs, "No!" He replied almost a bit abruptly, "Go through with it." This was Zek Skytroller, a young man who resorted to a life of crime, he became a goon for Tombstone when he was only at the age of 15, it was crazy!
"Well you heard the man." Big Man smirked, "Do it!" The Scientist glanced back at his computer and started to type on the keyboard, he typed a command that he needed to execute the whole experiment. When he pressed the enter button, there was no turning back for Zek.
The Glass tank closed, trapping in all the air, soon the huge glass case slowly became entombed in a metal casing! Inside Zek, still trapped onto the operating table was surprisingly calm, but that would all change. The experiment commenced and already Zek started to sweat. It was starting to get muggy in there, very muggy. Obviously The Scientist and Big Man knew what was going on through the computer monitor but they did not have the luxury to watch it with their onw eyes right in front of them.
Zek clenched his fists, there was a slow pain starting to rise within him, from toe to head. He gritted his teeth, the stinging pain was worsening. Then sparks started to materialize around him ,those sparks were lightning sparks. The tank became cold but then it became hot again, then cold, then hot, the two temperatures were fighting with each other, one always prevailing over the other.
It was almost like he was in a cloud with all the positive and negative charges of electricity were working with each other. Zek started to scream, his body was in more pain that he could bare. Then it began, his body became to change, physically! Zek was still screaming, it was like he was burning but it left no burn marks....
Then it stopped. It all stopped. He'd finally been relieved of what felt like torture, but things felt different, he heard a bit of a faint crackling noise, it was not annoying to him but it could be labeled as a bit irritable. The Metal cage rose up slowly, and it revealed a normal looking Zek, still strapped onto the gurney.
"How do you feel?" The Scientist asked.
Zek was freed from the retched gurney, he walked off slowly, feeling a bit weak but he could feel some new found strength. "I.... feel great....sir", he panted.
"So did it work?" Big Man asked, crossing his arms.
"Let's find out!" The Scientist gestured his hand, pointing to a spare monitor connected to a desktop, "Zek see if you can use your new abilities and shoot the desktop."
Zek raised his hand in a jerky motion, he raised it up to his field of view, he took a deep breath, then it happened. He shot Electricity out of his hand! The crackling noise became more and more louder. He destroyed the whole computer! "How about that doc?"
Big Man smirked, "Than the experiment was a success! Thank you for your accommodations tonight Mr. Breaker!"
Mr. Circuit Breaker grinned, "Anytime, anything to rid this city of Mr. Fisk.
Meanwhile, in the center of the city, a certain web slinging kid is off trying to stop a robbery, pursuing a car in the rainy streets of Canterlot City. God I better hurry up! If mom finds out I left the house at this time of night I'm toast! This was Flash Sentry, otherwise known as the Spectacular Spider-Man!
"Oh Man who even robs a place at this time of night!" He fired a webline onto a building midswing. He was exhausted, not from chasing the car but from what he's been through today. At school he's been nonstop working on so many projects that's kept him up at night. Along with that he and Sunset haven't had one of the best relationships, it started off fine but as Flash's Spider-Man career was taking up his social life they've been in more arguments than ever before. The hardest part was he still hasn't told Sunset about his alter ego.
"HEY ARE YA SHOOTIN HIM?" A masked lady who was wearing a ski mask glanced back at her two partners in crime, "BECAUSE THIS PIECE OF SHIT IS REALLY HARD TO DRIVE!" They'd plan a getaway, shooting anyone who tried to compromise the situation. But they had not prepared for Spider-Man, not really expecting to show up at midnight.
The 2 masked robbers with very big muscular body frames were sitting in the back, they loaded their automatic rifles and were about to begin shooting Spider-Man again. The popped their heads out the door windows and pointed their guns at Spider-Man, "Oh you gotta be kidding me!" Spider-Man let out a sigh as he braced himself for a noisy encounter. They started shooting at Spider-Man, but unlucky for them Spider-Man had seen this movie too many times and began to dodge them, shooting long strands of webbing left and right as fast as they could adjust their guns. "Come on fellas this is just pathetic!" Spidey scoffed.
They ran out of bullets in their clips and had to reload again, this is when Spider-Man decided to go for the car. He let go of his webline that he'd been gripping onto tightly and dived towards the roof of the car. He landed on the roof making a huge thump noise upon his landing.
This caught the attention of the robbers, "Shit boss what do we do?" One of them asked feeling a bit frightened that they were gonna get their asses handed to them.
She wanted to go back their and start hitting her two partners ,"ATTACK HIM YOU DIPSHIT!" But she decided to yell and keep her gaze on the road. Both of them looked at each other and just shrugged, after all they didn't really have much options, well except aborting the mission and turning themselves in.
The Robber hadn't been watching however and he was suddenly hit by Spider-Man's shoes, completely knocking him out. Spider-Man flew in through the door window and sat beside the other, very terrified robber. "Howdy!" He saluted the robber with both his fingers before driving a punch in his stomach and knocking him out. He then focused on the driver, "Mam!" He pointed at her and arched his back invertedly , "I need to make a quick trip at the police station, do you think tha--" The lady who was still focused on the road pointed a pistol at Spider-Man's head.
"Actually how about I take your ass to the morgue where I can leave your dead body there!" She snarled.
Spider-Man rolled his eyes under that mask, "Jeez talk about villain 101!" He shot a strand of web at the gun, tugging it away from her grasp and into the back seat. "So uh.. can I least see your license and registration?" Spider-Man sarcastically shrugged.
This irritated the lady, she let her arrogance get the better of her and she started go for Spider-Man, trying to grab him while sitting in the front seat. This was obviously a dangerous move, this prompted Spider-Man to act fast. He jumped out the door window again and onto the roof of the car and looked ahead of him. There was a intersection just coming up and it looked as though the woman was about to turn right. So like a spider could he began to shoot webbing at the next turn, creating a life sized spider-web that was the width of the two buildings that stood across the street from each other.
The car got caught by the huge web, stopping it in it's tracks, the police had just arrived by the time the car was caught so there was no hope for the criminals to be caught. The lady was beyond furious and watched as Spider-Man stood on the hood of the car waiving. "WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, I'M GONNA SHOVE MY HAND SO FAR UP YPU A--" He shot a web in her mouth and stopped her before she could speak her foul words.
"Look I'd like to stay and teach you manners but I kinda have to go!" Spider-Man mockingly shrugged before leaping off and firing a web line, swinging off into the distance.
As Spider-Man began to swing off into the distance the Police started aiming their guns at the Web Slinger."SPIDER-MAN YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!" Spider-Man had heard that what the officer had snarled didn't plan to act on it, he'd been hearing police utter those four words to him for months now! This was because the Daily Bugle was slandering him for doing the things he did, it was ridiculous to Spider-Man, sometimes he wished he could just have it easy as Spider-Man, but the media said otherwise.

Flash had jumped into his room, luckily his mom was asleep this whole time so he was safe. He took off his mask and threw it across his room feeling annoyed after what'd happen tonight before finally collapsing on his bed and staring at the ceiling, not even bothering to take off his jacket and costume.
He began to collect everything that had happen today, everything he'd done,What a day! I start it off with busting a carjacker then go to school only to sneak out to go fight 5 muggers mugging a guy. Then I get home to do my work only to be here! Drenched in water and feeling completely tired He sat up looking a bit annoyed, "When am I gonna have time for myself!" Flash had started to become more and more annoyed with how things have been for him. When he had became Spider-Man he had no idea of how much it consumed his life, he started to feel like it was all he was. Just some guy dressed in a costume fighting criminals having no time for himself. It was almost like the world was doing this to him on purpose.
"When can I be Flash Sentry for more than half a minute!" He got up off his bed and strolled over to the window to watch the dark rainy scenery outside. "I know that I'm supposed to keep the promise I made to myself but damn! could things get any harder for me right now?!" There were times Flash thought of quitting, where he could throw Spider-Man away for good and never deal with him again. But he couldn't, every time he thought about the idea he discarded it almost immediately thinking about his father and how he'd gotten into the place he is today.
Flash looked away from the window, beginning to feel mad, angry, furious even, his whole day had been a shit-show for him and not to mention nothing good came out of his heroic act earlier tonight ."Every time I do something good, this goddamn city doesn't even appreciate it! It's not fair! I don't even get a thank you from anyone they all think I'm some sort of lunatic psycho thanks to J.Jonah and The Daily Bugle! Ugh why do I even work for them. Hell why do I even bother being Spider-MA--" Flash stopped himself, his eyes begging to widen to what his final words were.
"What are you saying to yourself Sentry!? myself! I made this choice and I have to stick by it! Even if it means if I hate it sometimes" Flash was trying to cope with the severe stress he'd been under, but it was hard. Managing his life was something that was way too difficult ever since he took up the mantle of Spider-Man, in fact being Spider-Man was a choice he made right after his father died, he wanted to protect everyone in Canterlot and not let his father down, after all he lived by the words 'Great Power comes Great Responsibility'
Author's Note
Anyways this is the first chapter of Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man, again this image is not made by me, it is made by John Romita Sr. who makes really good looking Spider-Man art :].
So in this Chapter I reintroduce Zek but as a criminal now, he was intended to be a person who worked close with Doctor Connors but I discarded that idea after I had one of those weird brain moments where I think of something better than the actual intended thing I was gonna do.
So I also show Flash, post-Goblin fight. I'm showing how he still does his job as Spider-Man but I'm also showing how he's starting to feel about his new way of life, thinking about whether or not he made the right choice becoming a full time super hero.
I'm gonna try and write Flash a bit differently, kind of like an Episode II or III Anakin Skywalker in this book, where he's kinda whiny and what's one thing but can't have it due to his way of life. In this sense I guess it's Flash wanting to be Flash Sentry but instead his schedule makes him be Spider-Man.
If you'd want, I'd also like to see what you guys would might want from the story, like not really long things like a whole chapter written out but like just any small idea you would like to see happen.
Tell me what you think of this and the original!
Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
Flash had gotten up from bed, "What happen last night?.." his head was a bit hazy as he was trying to adjust his eyesight towards his surroundings. Then Flash gasped, he remembered one thing that had bother him for a bit, "My Powers!" Flash looked to a soda can left on his desk. He extended his arm out and made a horn shape, sticking out his index and pinkie finger while setting his middle and ring finger on his palm, luckily some webbing came out of his wrist and a strand of webbing caught the can.
Flash sighed in relief, "Well at least it wasn't permeant!" But it got him thinking, how did his powers fail him the first time, If I'm not mistaken, My whole genetic code was altered after that Spider bite, there's no way it could change, could it? It was such a weird concept that he was trying to wrap his head around.
Flash got out of his bed and stood up on the floor. It was another school morning and though he had a bad night, he managed to get up just before school started.
Then Flash remembered something else that was just as big to him, "Sunset...." then it all came back to him even more. The night before he was too freaked out and panicked by his power failure. "It's really over.." Flash could feel a lump in his throat. He sighed, feeling disappointed in himself, "What have you done Sentry?" He asked himself, "You made a promise to Sunset and you lied!"
Flash left his room and went into the washroom to brush his teeth and brace for the day.
Only about 10 minutes later he was fully changed, in a black sweatshirt, some khakis and white air forces he had gotten for his birthday. He went down stairs, not vaulting the banister like he usually did everyday not feeling as cheerful today and still feeling downright weirded out by his power failure. His mom was cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
"Hey kiddo!" His mom greeted him, "I made your favorite! Pancake and eggs!" She handed him a plate that had his favorite breakfast dish and he headed to the Livingroom.
Flash smiled, at least his day was starting off good.
"Oh that reminds me!" His mom rushed to the living room to tell Flash some important news, "My sister was wondering when exactly you're planning to visit her this summer." Flash has some family in Japan that hadn't seen him in over a decade, so they had planned for Flash's family to come during the winter break but after his father had died it kinda caused the whole trip to be postponed and it was discarded all together, but after some resurgence of interest from Flash he begged his mother to go to Japan and after a few weeks she had reluctantly agreed.
"Well... I can't go now" He joked a little, "But maybe in July or August, one of the two."
"Well when you get to that decision then talk to her."
***
Flash had gotten to school after finally finishing breakfast. He walked through the crowded hallways, a challenge that he faced almost everyday of his life. Soarin was away and Sandalwood was on a field trip with his class, Flash was actually on his own today. "Man this is gonna blow!"
Then he saw her, Sunset. But she wasn't alone, she wasn't with her friends, but she was with another boy, Curly Winds! Flash's eyes widened, his mouth hanging open, looking shocked, he watched as Sunset and Curly Winds share a kiss. I don't believe it! She's in love with CURLY WINDS!?
When they broke it off Curly Winds headed to his class and Sunset headed to hers, and in doing so she headed towards the direction Flash was standing at. She got mad, not really glad to see her ex, "What?" she put her hands on her hips and leaned a little forward, making Flash backup a bit.
"You-..re dating Curly Wind--"
"So what huh?" She cut Flash off, "were not even a couple anymore!"
Flash took a deep breath, "Look, if it's about last night I'm sorry I couldn't make it."
Sunset snarled, "You know you don't have to keep up that good boy act anymore, because as far as I'm concerned, you're just a lying beta male!" She pushed her index finger into his chest and stormed off past him. Flash meanwhile almost felt like he was gonna burst out crying, those words really hurt. She glanced back at him one more time, "You know he was actually there for me when I cried that night! But you! You were off probably doing something that you probably consider fun!" She continued to storm off.
Flash, looked to the ground and jammed his hands in his pockets. "I've lost her. I've lost her forever." Flash felt his heart break, the lump feeling in his throat starting to worsen. His eyes felt a bit wet, like tears were really gonna stream down his face.
He walked off to class not wanting to be late, this was probably one of the worst feelings he's felt in a while.
A big man with an almost huge body frame walked into Big Man's office, "Big Man" The man nodded.
"Kingpin." Big Man nodded back, "How's your new position in the mayoral office?" Kingpin, A.K.A Wilson Fisk was also a crime lord, having in control one of the biggest crime syndicates in Canterlot City, he was also one of Tombstone's allies.
Kingpin smirked as he took a seat, "Not bad! But I'm not here to talk about Politics."
"Oh? Than what have you come for then?" Big Man asked, beginning to poor some wine into a glass.
"I've come to you to discuss to you about your newest project" Kingpin took the glass and started to swirl the red liquid around before taking a small swig, "Electro was it?"
"What about it?"
"Well it's just..." He took a pause and took another swig of wine, "When I said take out Breaker, I meant kill him in cold blood and who knows maybe even his child, not waste funds on some walking battery." The reason Kingpin was bringing this up was because he was suspecting that Circuit Breaker was the Green Goblin, he knew that he was against him and he knew his dark secrets he hid from the public. Unknown to Kingpin though was that Micro Chips, Circuit Breakers son, was the culprit.
"Don't worry about it, we'll take out that crooked bastard, after all he came back from Europe a couple of weeks ago, and that kid you were on about won't suspect a thing, we got someone imitating as him, I think it was Dmitri."
"Well I hope so." He got up from his seat and began to walk off, "But remember." His voice became a bit more threatening, "If you mess up, you won't see the light of day."
Big Man smirked, "Of course Wilson." Kingpin left the room leaving Tombstone sitting there, feet rested on the desk, "Arrogant Prick.." He snarled.
Class had ended, but Flash's day was far from over, he was called in by one of his friends Mrs. Brant at the Daily Bugle, "Sentry, take a seat!" Flash was in Mr. Jameson's office and sat down.
"Sentry! I called you here today to tell that... you're fired!"
"What?! Why!?" Flash was baffled to hear such news.
"Look at these pictures you've given me, there not news worthy!"
Flash tried reasoning, "Well I thought the Bugle could show a different side of Canterlot for a change."
"Sentry! You need to understand that the only reason I hired you in the first place is because that masked weirdo will only pose for you for some reason."
"Look Spider-Man won't let me take his pictures anymore, you've turned the whole city against him!" Flash accused.
That brought a smile to Jameson's face, "Something I've never been more proud of in my life, well besides John."
Flash pleaded, "Come on Mr. Jameson please, I need the money."
"Yeah, well the president once went bankrupt and look how's he doing."
Flash sighed, there was no way he could win an argument against Mr. Jameson, "Fine.. you win" He pulled a picture of Spider-Man out of his bag, it was of him swinging mid air, preparing to fire another webline, and it looked to be towards the Camera.
"This looks awful! 100 bucks." Mr. Jameson said
"300" Flash bargained.
"250, okay byee!" He gave Flash the check and waived him off.
Flash walked out of the office and towards Betty's desk, handing her the check, "Hey Betty."
"Hi Flash!" Betty Brant, otherwise known as the most upbeat intern at the Daily Bugle, well she was at that point, when she saw the check she kind of frowned, "Ohh.." she glanced up at Flash, "Flash this isn't going to cover the advance I gave you weeks ago."
Flash's shoulders dropped but his face was rather expressionless, "Right." He took the check back and put it in his pocket. Betty felt really bad, she had started to notice that Flash was becoming less and less cheerful by the day.
"Hey, don't be so down all the time!" She patted him on the back making him smile and Flash began to leave. He just wanted to go home and just lie in bed, the bad luck streak was just continuing to rise more and more.
He got out of the building and began to walk down the street, I just don't get it. Why does everything always go south for me? The great steel jungle that is known as Canterlot City was pretty loud when you're merely walking down the street, but that didn't interrupt Flash in anyway.
I hate to say it but this has been probably he worst year of my life! Flash walked across a cross walk and continued to walk down the sidewalk. Dad's...gone, The city is always in need of me even when I'm just trying to relax, My best friend turns out to be my biggest enemy and now Sunset's left me to date the one guy I hate!
Flash was having a hard time dealing with all the things that has happened just this year, it was something he's never thought he'd experienced something like this before, for better or for worse. Gosh, Now that I'm thinking about it the only few things that I look forward to now is Graduation and Japan
Flash made his way to the Subway station, the easiest way for him to get home, Man sometimes I wish I could talk to someone who was living the same life as me, heh. Maybe we could even grab lunch together or something if it was a girl. Flash stood there until the next train would arrive for him to go on.
…...
Author's Note
And that was chapter 4 of FSTSS, I know it was a bit of a filler, but I'm trying to move this story along and jumping right into action after that last chapter would be a bit too wild so I decided to just write this.
So not really much I could say he but maybe Flash finding out about Sunset seeing Curly Winds only a day after their breakup, I don't remember why I chose Curly Winds in the original but I just went along with it.
Tell me what you think about this and the original in the comments and hey maybe even leave a like I don't know

Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
The Big House Rumble!/Another Big City Chase
Electro was summoned by the Big Man to come into his office, he stood a few meters away from his desk, crossing his arms, "What's wrong?" He asked tapping his foot on the ground.
"I have something big for you" Big Man informed, "This isn't some robbery either so listen up!" He clapped his hands twice which signalled a goon of his to turn on a projector. The projector displayed an image, or rather blueprints of Canterlot City's federal penitentiary.
"The Prison?" Electro was a bit confused, "What do you want me to take out their power or something?" Electro began to create small sparks out of his hands displaying a bit of his powers.
Big Man shook his head, "No not exactly." He got up and pointed to the security room of the prison, "I need you to disable the security system and free all the criminals, not that they're my concern I need you to bring back two specific prisoners..."
"Who would be....." Electro said, trying to finish the sentence.
"Flint Marko and Alexander O'Hirn!" The projector then displayed two prisoners, both had big and muscular body frames, one had short brown hair while the other had longer black hair. "They were both associates of Kingpin at one point and both played roles in Filthy Rich's attempted assassination at the Canterlot Towers. They were arrested a few months ago after being found guilty of attempted murder."
Electro looked a bit uninterested, "Why would you need those two cavemen?"
"Because I have certain... plans for them." Big Man smirked, "Now get going!"
Electro rolled his eyes, not really wanting to go but at the same time having really nothing to do, "Okay... whatever." He shrugged and left the dim office room, heading for the elevator.
It was a Friday night in Canterlot City. It was a bit humid, even for the beginning of May. Of course it was the usual, busy streets, a lit up city, downtown and lot's of people out at night doing whatever they could. Flash was at home alone, his mother had been beginning to date people again and tonight she was on one of those dates with a guy that she refuses to reveal the name of to Flash.
Flash was on his computer, chatting with a familiar face. "So you're really coming back to stay here for a bit in June?"
"Yup, it took a bit of convincing but my old man agreed to it." he was in a voice chat with Micro Chips, otherwise formerly known as, The Green Goblin! After Flash had defeated Goblin, or rather Micro Chips, his father took him to the UK to leave Canterlot behind and start a fresh, new, rich lifestyle there.
"Aw That's Great!" Flash smiled.
"Yeah. Micro Chips chuckled, "So uh since were talking, how's life back at Canterlot been for ya?"
Flash's smile became a bit of a half smile, "You know, it hasn't really been so.... good, so to speak."
Micro Chips looked a bit confused, "Why not?"
Flash took a deep breath, "Sunset broke up with me."
There was a pause for a moment, Micro Chips processed those words that had just come out of Flash's mouth, Oh. The four words Flash had just uttered came out a bit spontaneously, "Well... I don't know what to say, but what I do know is that well.... you could still be friends with her, I mean take it from a guy whose parents got a divorce, I mean they still talk to each other and they even became friends.
"I'm not sure it's gonna be that easy. Sunset has been really, really mad at me, I mean I can't even talk to her it's that bad."
"Dude, don't worry about it, things we'll eventually cool down at some point. Anyways I gotta go, uhh keep it easy and all that." He hung up on the video chat.
Flash took Micro Chips' words into consideration, I mean he's never had a girlfriend but he did make an obvious point, but then again Sunset was a completely different person compared to Micro Chips' parents.
But then, his phone went crazy with notification bells, breaking his deep thought. "That can't be good!" Flash picked up his phone and unlocked it as fast as possible, the notifications were coming from a new app. Flash read the headline and his eyes widened as he read it. In Big Bold words, it read...
FIGURE THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE ELECTRIC ABILITIES HAS BROKEN INTO THE HISAN FEDERAL PENITENTARY. STORY CONTINUES TO DEVELOP BY THE HOUR
"WHAT?! OH MY GOD THIS IS BAD!" Flash forgot about everything and was trying to collect all his thoughts, "Wait, has electric abilities!" Flash took a moment and realized that the name 'Electro' might be behind all of this "Okay it just got worse! How am I supposed to go up against him again!"
The last time Flash had gone up against Electro he had nearly lost his own life, but then he came to an obvious realization, "Wait what kind of Science Major am I? Rubber doesn't conduct electricity, and if I'm not mistaken Rubber Gloves apply to that same rule."
Flash rushed downstairs to the kitchen. Once there he made it into a cabinet where his mother kept some cleaning supplies, "And...…. here!" He grabbed out a pack of rubber gloves, "And If I'm also not mistaken I have rubber boots here somewhere."
Flash ran to the front doorway and opened a small closet containing some footwear, he rumbled through the cornucopia of shoes until he found them, two Rubber Boots. Flash looked at the clock, he was only aloud to be out until 10:00 and it right now it was 8:00, "Okay Flash! You only have two hours to do this, stop Electro and put all the criminals back into their jail cells." Though It did not sound as easy once Flash let all of that sink in, he had to at least try.
Meanwhile at Hisan Federal Penitentiary, a huge prison which stood on it's own land, away from the city, Electro was making his way through the Prison, electrocuting one cop after another. "God this is honestly just so boring!" Even the swat team were having a hard time trying to shoot him down.
Electro was casually walking past each cell, a lot of inmates were acting crazy in the prison, calling Electro names, calling each other names, slamming each other into walls, the most wildest things that didn't kill each other. "Not to mention this disgusting building, my god if I could I would kill every last inmate in here right now!"
"HEY YOU! STOP RIGHT THERE!" An officer ran towards Electro pointing his gun at him.
"Cute!" Electro jeered, Electro stopped the confrontation from happening by electrocuting the officer with a very minimum amount of electricity, but like they say, big things come in small packages and that small amount of Electricity was able to kill the officer instantly.
Electro walked for a bout ten more minutes, trying to navigate the prison until he found it. The Security room! "Well it's about damn time!" Electro charged some electricity to his feet to create a powerful charge. Raising his foot up he kicked the door open, breaking it off from the wall.
A Bunch of security guards were in the room, turning around, they all pointed a bunch of machine guns at Electro, "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER YE BASTARD!"
Electro smirked , "Jeez that's some pretty heavy artillery for such a common guard!" Electro let out a powerful charge of electricity, killing even more security guards. They all fell to the ground in unison much to Electro's amusement. He walked past the corpses and headed to the control panel.
None of the controls were labeled which left Electro to wonder how it operated, but not really thinking about it he just short circuited the entire thing and in the process, disabling the control system. "Well time to look for Alex and Flint!"
More and more armored trucks arrived at the Prison with more and more swat officers arriving at the scene. What they didn't know was Spider-Man secretly hitched a ride, hiding at the back of the boat.
Getting on shore Spider-Man looked at the huge penitentiary. "So this is where everyone I arrested goes to, huh neat!" Then something caught Spider-Man's eyes, a huge hole in the wall like fence, it looked like something had crashed into it. "Looks like this must've been how Electro got inside.
Spider-Man walked through the hole and the first thing he saw was a bunch, no! not even a bunch it was like 5 herds ad more of Officers and Prisoners fighting each other, his eyes widened, he'd seen protests on TV before where the protestors would go up against the cops but he'd never seen anything like it in real life, "Woah! That is... something!" Spider-Man continued to make his way to the actual building it's self, seeing another hole that was most likely created by Electro, he ran towards it in hopes of catching him this time around.
Spider-Man made his way inside and say only a few Prisoners following Electro, the place had been completely emptied out, probably because the prisoners were all trying to escape. Spider-Man got a look at two of the prisoners following Electro, he recognized them, it was Alex O'Hirn and Flint Marko, the two goons he briefly fought at Canterlot Towers. "Oh no! It's those two!" Spider-Man began to get some flashbacks of that night, what he considered the most craziest night of his life, but this may come in close second.
Looks Like I better intervene before they get out or something! Spider-Man reached into the pockets of his jacket and pulled a rubber glove, because it covered the wrist area of his suit, he only brought one so he could shoot webbing with his left hand. Spider-Man had also replaced his normal sneakers with heavy duty Rubber Boots, he was gonna have to rely on a lot of kicks if he wanted to win this one.
Without any hesitation, Spider-Man leapt into the air and landed right in front of Electro and his big gang of criminals, "Hiya Fellas!" Spider-Man saluted with his two fingers, "So uh having a slumber party or somethin? What's going on?"
"You again?" Electro was a bit shocked (No pun intended) and pointed at Spider-Man, "I thought I killed you!"
Spider-Man shrugged, "Sorry Pal! It's gonna take a lot more than some electricity to kill me!" Spider-Man leapt over Electro and began attacking the prisoners. "Oh yeah, I hate to be a party pooper but I'm gonna have to throw you back in your cells!" Spider-Man kicked a prisoner in his stomach, doing a bit more damage with the addition of his boots, it sent him flying back into a wall, knocking him out.
"UGH! Get him!" Electro demanded. He then turned to Alex and Flint who were about to jump into action "But not you two, you two go find a place to hide or possibly escape!" The nodded their heads and ran for it, without Spider-Man noticing.
Spider-Man's spider-senses went off, a huge prisoner was about to grab him, but luckily he dogged it in time, "Wow! So much for keeping your hands to yourself eh?" Spider-Man jumped up and punched the man in his face and shot a bunch of webbing in his eyes, making him stumble back.
Three more prisoners screamed charging, at Spider-Man, prompting him to turn around. Spider-Man used some quick thinking, he picked up the huge Prisoner that laid on the ground and threw him in the direction of the three prisoners charging at him. The body made impact with the three prisoners, knocking all four bodies to the ground, with the big prisoner laying on top of them.
Spider-Man turned around and did not see Alex or Flint in sight. But he did see Electro, starting to float in the air, "Alright so what's the deal? First you need some tech and now you're going to a prison?"
Electro shrugged, "Meh, I get bored sometimes." Electro shot a bunch of electricity at Spider-Man, only to be blocked by Spider-Man's rubber glove. This slightly surprised Electro, "So looks like you found a way around the lighting strikes, you're smarter than I thought."
"Well I am a bit of science whiz!" Spider-Man jumped in the air and towards Electro without any warning, and this time he had somewhat of an upper hand, Spider-Man punched Electro under his chin and sending him flying up and into a ceiling.
Electro then began to fall but he rebounded himself in time to gain back control of himself.
"How do you like that? This time I can punch you!" Spider-Man sneered.
"Oh wow! What an accomplishment." Electro began to shoot more volts of electricity at Spider-Man, but this time Spider-Man being much more smarter and more calmer dodged the electric bolts and jumped onto a wall, clinging onto it. Spider-Man extended his arm out and was about to shoot a webline.
But then it happened again, nothing came out of his wrists, "Oh no! Not now!" As Spider-Man was trying to shoot a webline Electro gained the upper hand and shot electricity at him, making him fall onto the ground. "Gah! If I keep getting electrocuted like this I'm gonna end up like toast by the end of the night!"
Then his Spider-Sense went off, Electro was about stomp his foot into Spider-Man's head but luckily in time Spider-Man rolled away, narrowly dodging it. "You know, you're starting to become a bit of a problem, you know that!"
"Well, I have knack for getting on people's nerves!" Spider-Man leapt in the air and attempted to shoot another webline and this time to his relief it fired out of his wrists. Spider-Man swung towards Electro, extending both his legs out, Electro was met with rubber boots crashing into his face and sending him back even harder into a wall, this time creating a hole in the wall and sending him outside into the prison courtyard.
Electro got up, shaking his head a little but it wouldn't end there for him, Spider-Man swung through the hole he created, letting go of his web line he dived towards Electro and landed a roundhouse in his cheek.
Electro was getting understandably annoyed, "Okay! No more Mister Nice Guy!" Electro got up and began charging as much electricity as he possibly could, more than the first time he fought Spider-Man. "Okay Spider-Man, TAKE THIS!" He let out a huge whiplash of lighting.
Spider-Man's eyes widened, "Oh my go--" Spider-Man jumped to the side and dodged the huge yellow beam of lightning. But Electro continued, treating it like it was a whip, trying to hit Spider-Man, but he kept jumping out of the way. "Oh come on Electro don't be such a sour puss!" Spider-Man fired a strand of web at a basketball, "Here let's play some ball, me and you!" Using the webline he threw the ball at electro, only for it to be destroyed by him with the help of the raging electric whip.
"No more games web head!" Electro caught Spider-Man off guard, finally hitting him mid air.
Spider-Man was too slow to deflect it and the lightning was not letting him live it down, I couldn't even write down the words that could describe the pain Spider-Man was feeling through his body, Spider-Man was sent flying back into a cement wall that acted as the fence of the whole prison, he crashed through it and fell to the ground.
Spider-Man was moaning in pain, half of his whole jacket was completely destroyed, the second time it's happened in his whole Spider-Man career. Spider-Man however gained the might to get back up again, the battle was far from finished. Spider-Man limped through the hole again and saw Electro kneeling. "This is my only chance! If I attack him, I might be able to finally end this.
Electro was a bit weak, he'd exempt almost 75% of all his electricity, but luckily he had a plan B. "Okay! Unit B Now!"
Spider-Man started sprinting towards Electro as if the blast didn't affect him in anyway. But then his Spider-Sense went off, he turned around and saw a bunch of armored vehicles come his way. But the drivers weren't police officers nor swat officers, the trucks weren't even from the Canterlot Police Force at all. Unknown to Spider-Man, they were Big Man's men.
Spider-Man leapt out of the way but that would be his biggest mistake because those vehicles were Electro's getaway. Spider-Man gasped, "Oh No!" He watched as Electro was being taken away and drove off, "No not this time!" Spider-Man shot a strand of webbing at on of the vehicles as it began to drive off. Not thinking straight at all, he took off his rubber glove so he could should more webbing instead of relying solely on his left hand. He completely forgot about who he was going up against.
Not long after Spider-Man was snagging onto a web which was stuck onto a speeding car. The Car was barreling through the narrow streets and was not far from the city. Spider-Man was having somewhat of a hard time trying to hang on to his web but he kept his composure.
Spider-Man thinking fast, arced the web strand upwards and let go of the webline all together, he landed on the roof of the armored car though the driver could not tell. Spider-Man, though he could punch through metal and bend steel pipes, took a different approach. He funneled his fist through the driver window and grabbed the driver out of the car and threw the driver out, shooting some webbing under him.
Spider-Man jumped onto the next car, at that point they were entering the city, police chasing the last 3 cars. Spider-Man was almost out of control, he was so hellbent on chasing Electro he wasn't even thinking right. Spider-Man with no hesitation shot a bunch of webbing onto the windshield of the car. The Car was getting out of control but Spider-Man jumped onto the next car before seeing the fate of the other car and it's driver. Spider-Man landed onto the next armored car, but before he could even act on it, he was hit by a traffic light, knocking him off the car.
"No! NO!" Spider-Man staggered to his feet and fired a webline onto a building, it didn't even phase him that his Spider-Sense didn't even tingle. Spider-Man began swinging through the city hellbenteshly, he was not gonna give up and lose Electro for a second time.
Spider-Man found the few vehicles, raging through the road. Spider-Man began following them shooting out webbing as fast as possible.
But then, it happened again. "No.. NO NOT AGAIN!!" Spider-Man couldn't shoot a webline, "NO! NO!" Spider-Man began falling to the ground at fast speeds. "COME ON!" Spider-Man was still trying to fire a webline, but nothing, nothing was coming out of his wrists.
Spider-Man fell to the ground and landed in a puddle. He sat upright and took off his mask.
Author's Note
Okay so a bit of a wild chapter.
So in this chapter I instead make this battle in a prison, or a penitentiary, it's something that has been done in a lot of Spider-Man storylines. Usually I now do 2 fights per story but this one might end up having a few more I don't really know, well I do so I lied.
So in this chapter Flash uses his smart brain and realizes that Rubber does not conduct electricity and decides to fight Electro with rubber gloves, also something that's been done a lot in Spider-Man storylines.
It was kind of an interesting place to do the fight partly because It never crossed my mind till now.
So something interesting that I did, and by the way I'm putting a spoiler over this because it reveals some stuff about issue #3, Spider-Man kind of acts like Serpent, or rather his uncle, by attacking some drivers in what I believe he would do in similar fashion, especially in the chapter Flash's First Day in Tokyo
So at the end of the chapter Spider-Man loses his two most important abilities, Spider-Sense and web slinging, and this time it's gonna lead to Flash doing something more serious and I bet you know what it is
Tell me what you think about this and the original in comments below, hey maybe like I don't really know 🤷
Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
Flash took off his mask, "Why is this happening to me?" He tried to shoot more webbing but nothing was happening. Flash was more confused than ever, why was all of this happening to him. "No, No I can't really be losing my powers? am I?" Flash got onto his feet and walked up to the wall.
Looking right up at the wall he was gonna prove a point, that he still has his powers. "Okay come on Spider-Man!" Flash put one hand on the wall, and then another one, and then another one, he was climbing the wall!
But then, he felt the static electric connection he thought had with the wall was went away. Spider-Man started feeling his hands slipping, His eyes widened. He tried to stay clung onto the wall, but it was no use, his hands slipped away from thee wall and he plummeted right back into the puddle."
Flash was in disbelief, even his wall crawling ability was gone. "No, no, no, no... "he felt tears starting to swell up in his eyes, he just sat against the wall putting his wet hand over his face. "Why? Why has everything been going so awful for me?" Flash had finally broke down, all the stress, all the events taking place everyday, everything had finally caught up to him and it broke him completely.
"First Dad, then Sunset and now this" Flash had lost almost everything important to him, "The City hates me, The Bugle is giving me a hard time for my pictures, and my whole life has just become nothing but a Spider-Man centric life." That word echoed through his head. 'Spider-Man'
He stopped crying for a moment and looked at the mask he left on the ground, "Spider-....Man?!" He said softly, like the word was almost hard to say. Sniffling one last time he picked up the mask, he looked at it for a moment he came to many
realizations, and all of them had something to do with that name.
Spider-Man?! SPIDER-MAN!? He started to become more and more angrier with that name, "Spider-Man has been the root of all my problems! Dad died because of him, I've missed all of the best moments in my life because of him, SUNSET!? She's gone and the only thing I have to blame is Spider-MAN!?" He was beginning to sound like J.Jonah Jameson in a way. Speaking of which he heard his voice, it was coming from a billboard.
"Spider-Man Is a Criminal! He's a Menace! He always seems to leave destruction in his path. Millions have been fooled by his so called 'good-guy act' I say that we have him arrested! He must be brought to justice! SPIDER-MAN MUST GO!"
Flash was in disbelief as well, people really thought of him like that, like Spider-Man was a criminal mastermind behind all of the so on so crime that he stops. Flash took those words into consideration, he could hear boo's of citizens walking by the billboard as it displayed the picture of Spider-Man Flash had given Jameson. "Maybe.. he's right! Maybe.. Spider-Man needs to go."
***
It was one day since Flash chased Electro down the street, he was walking to a nearby alleyway to dispose of something, a suit, his suit, his Spider-Man costume! He had finally become fed up with everything Spider-Man has done to him.
What was I thinking. I was never ready to take up a mantle of something as serious as Spider-Man. When I became him I was just in over my head! Flash walked up to the trash can and took the lid off. And let's be honest, I'm growing up now! I'm gonna off to college in less than a few months and it's time for me to put this old toy down for the rest of my life. And maybe me losing my powers was just a sign to finally open my eyes.
Flash took a deep breath, he was letting go of something which had a big impact on his life, one of the biggest impacts. I'm sorry Dad.... I'm not ready to hold the responsibility of being a hero. He let go of the suit and put the trash can lid on top of it. He looked at the trash can one more time before walking off.
"I'm Spider-Man .. no more"
This marked the end of a chapter in Flash's life, no more would he be responsible for stopping crime in it's path, no more will he incur the hate that he gets by the civilians of Canterlot or J.Jonah Jameson and no more will he ever have to take pictures of himself to help a newspaper sell it's printings. It was gonna take a while for him to adjust to life again but he knew ultimately this might be the best route to go. He was no longer Spider-Man and once again was just Flash Sentry.
It was a busy Monday morning in Canterlot City, like always, The Bugle was obviously a part of this trend in the city. J.Jonah Jameson and Robbie Robertson, an African American high class editor who was at around and that seemed to be in his 50's J.Jonah's status, were talking about some newspaper analytics. Things hadn't been so good for them this month as sales were down, even their Spider-Man newspapers weren't selling as much
"Jonah this is bad!" said Robbie shaking his head in disbelief and disappointment, "We haven't been selling like we anticipated."
"IMPOSSIBLE!" J.Jonah yelled, "HOW ARE WE NOT GETTING ANY PAPERS SOLD!" He took a deep breath, "Looks like Spider-Man become old news! He might not be so profitable anymore!" But at that moment, they were gonna get the most news worthy material in probably their whole lives.
"Mr Jameson! Mr. Jameson!" Betty called out running to his office.
"Not now Mrs. Brant!" Jameson put his hand out, gesturing her to leave so him and Robbie could think.
However Betty kept insisting, "But Mr. Jameson it's serious!"
Mr. Jameson kissed his teeth, "WHAT!?" He turned his head to see a garbage man holding a paper bag , "A Paper bag?! You called me for a Paper BAG!?" He was less than impressed.
Robbie, who was a much more calmer person took the bag and opened it, his eyes widened when he saw what was inside, "Uh.. Jonah you might want to take a look at this." whatever it was it caught even Robertson by surprise.
Jonah took the bag, "Gimme that! And I swear if this is another dead Pidgeon I'm gonna arrest somebody" But this was no Pidgeon. He took a look in it and his mouth gawped open immediately, "No way!" He took out a red mask with white lens pieces and a webbing pattern on it, otherwise known as The Spider-Man mask, "Where did you get this?" Jameson demanded.
"In a trash can, you know what my job requires me to do!" said the Garbage man in a blunt tone.
Jameson smiled, his eyes widening in excitement, "I don't believe it. He's quit." Jameson started laughing, "HAHA! HE QUIT! I MADE SPIDER-MAN QUIT! I FINALLY RID THE CITY OF THIS MENACE!" Jameson started celebrating. He felt so accomplished for finally getting rid of Spider-Man
The Garbage man broke his celebration by asking for some sort of payment, "Uhh yeah! So uh don't you think I deserve a handsome payment or something?"
Jameson stopped celebrating and looked at the Garbage Man, "Okay... $100"
"Are you kidding, that's way too low for something like this! I could make more off of eBay, kiss my ass!"
Jameson rolled his eyes, this guy was more stubborn than he thought, "Okay $500, Mrs. Brant give this man his money and tell him to leave!" The Garbage man rolled his eyes and left the room with Mrs. Brant. Meanwhile Jameson was ecstatic about the sudden turn of events, "This is gonna be big Robbie! Real Big!"
Robertson let out a sigh and took out the rest of the costume, it was a full dark red and cyan blue body suit. He held it up looking at it, "What made you quit Spider-Man, what made you quit."

Author's Note
Okay so this is Spider-Man no more in FSTSS, this was kind of a hard chapter to write because I coudln't simply write it as, "Flash threw his suit away and left"
This was a big moment in Spider-Man's career, the time he finally quit being Spider-Man and went on with his life, obviously he took up the mantle again which obviously Flash will do because most of you probably realize there's a third issue, and a plaaned fourth one and so on.
I really wanted to write this in the original but I decided not to, but after I wrote the second issue I realized there was gonna be no way I could so that's kinda why I rebooted the second one, now that I think about it it was only supposed to be the second one which would be reeboted but clearly that wasn't the case
Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
Flash woke up out of bed on a nice, sunny school morning. "Oh man! I haven't felt this way in months!" He glanced at his alarm clock and was in disbelief, "7:30! Aw I got so much time!" Flash sat upright in his bed and stretched his arms and legs. He then got out and headed to the washroom to take a shower and brush his teeth.
Not long after Flash came out, fully clothed in a Black jacket and white t-shirt underneath, "Good morning!" Flash slid down the railings without getting hurt at all, he was just filled with so much happiness and excitement.
His mother, Sabrina, who was cooking breakfast glanced at her son, she smiled, "Well someone looks tp be in a happy mood today!"
Flash nodded, "Yup!" He chuckled a little, "I just got a good feeling about today, that's all!"
His mother laughed, "Well then you can start your happy day with a sunny side breakfast" She got him a plate of two sunnyside eggs, two sausages and toast with some blackberry jam smeared on top, "Eat up!" She patted him on the head and kissed him on the forehead before walking back to the kitchen to cook a breakfast up for herself.Flash stared at his breakfast with a smile. He took his fork and gobbled up the breakfast he'd been given.
Once he was done everything he grabbed his bag and headed for the door, "Okay Mom! I'll see you after school!"
"Bye!" She said from the kitchen, Be safe!" Flash closed the door behind him and began to walk to school.
Flash walked through the neighborhood on that sunny Monday morning and Flash was headed off to school but here's the thing, his life was completely normal again. It was like everything was washed away and he was a new man. It was like the song Tequila was playing in his head.
The past day was probably the most relaxing Flash ever had in a while, he finished loads of work he would've never thought he could a few weeks ago, he's been getting much needed and kind of deserved rest and he hasn't had to worry about a thing in Canterlot City, heck even Electro wasn't his problem anymore, the police could take care of him for all he cared, all's he knew was that life was gonna get easier from here.
Flash crossed the street and was near the fence of his school, that is until he heard a bunch of police sirens go off and go past him, Flash looked as the cruisers were speeding off, and all's he could do was just nod his head, "Man looks like somethings never change." He chuckled a bit, it probably wasn't the most appropriate reaction but at the same time he was gonna enjoy every last minute of what he considered 'freedom'
Flash walked towards the school, but that was where he was met with a foot tripping him. Flash fell to the ground, but he just rolled his eyes, he knew who the culprit was. "Sorry geek! I didn't see you there!" Curly Winds laughed, "Oh yeah, guess what, me and Sunset are officially public, think of it as something you could've had." He laughed and walked off.
Flash got up but he just simply shrugged, he still had Sunset on his mind but not as much anymore, at times he almost couldn't care less about Sunset's feelings about him now. Flash just sighed, "Yup things will never change."
But things got better for him when Sandalwood caught up with him, "Hey man! long time no see" he and Flash did one of their secret handshakes, "Dude listen, I'm kinda sorry about not hanging with you that much, Fluttershy and I have really hit it off and kind of had a lot of alone time after class, if you know what I mean?" Sandalwood had a smug smirk.
Flash rolled his eyes, "Y'know I don't think I want to." He chuckled a bit, "Anyways it's cool, I'm just happy for you."
"Aw Hey thanks man!" Sandalwood smiled, "So uh? Y'know anything about Micro Chips yet?"
"Well he said he was coming back sometime in June, sucks though, we might not even get to hang out together a lot in the summer."
"Why?" Sandalwood asked looking confused, "Are you going somewhere or something?"
"Yup!" Flash replied, "I have some family in Japan I'm gonna spend sometime in the summer with"
Sandalwood's shoulders dropped, his mouth gawped open, "You have family in Japan."
"Well yeah!" Flash said looking at Sandalwood like it was a no brainer, "Did I not tell you back in September I was gonna go there?"
"Well yeah... but I didn't actually know you had relatives."
Flash chuckled even more, "Well know you do." Flash and Sandalwood then stopped in their tracks when they saw a crowd gather around when they had made it inside the school, "Hey what's that?"
They walked towards the crowd making their way through, Flash and Sandalwood saw Soarin also standing at the front of the crowd so instinctively Flash and Sandalwood went up to him. "Hey Soarin."
Soarin turned his head, "Oh hey! So you guys hear the news yet?" That was a bit of a spontaneous statement Soarin uttered, especially because he hated the news.
"News of what?" Sandalwood asked.
Soarin pointed at the Monitor the crowd had been staring at, "Look!" Flash and Sandalwood stared at the screen, one being shocked and one being not as surprised, Huh, well how predictable.
A female news anchor sat at a table looking at and read what was on her paper, "And now for the real news of the hour, The local vigilante known as Spider-Man reportedly discarded his suit and end his career as the cities quote on quote 'Hero' The monitor began to display pictures of Spider-Man, all of which Flash had taken, though he was credited as being the photographer in small white text below no one actually read it. Than it began displaying some videos of Spider-Man swinging through the streets, "These reports have made their ways into headlines after Chief Editor of The Daily Bugle John Jonah Jameson Jr. released pictures of the vigilante's costume which was allegedly found in a trash can.
Flash smirked a little and chuckled, "What a surprise."
"In a statement he said, 'I am very proud of the web slinger actually, finally seeing how he's been a menace and throwing into the towel, though his actions cannot be ignored and I would be more comfortable with his arrest, this is the step in the right direction', Though it is true that the city can finally relieve themselves of this vigilante, there are still arguments supporting Spider-Man and proving that he's a good guy prompting policemen not to seek out the masked vigilante as they cannot just go arrest him without any actual proof, now I couldn't really tell you if he is good or bad but what we should be arguing about is the age old question, who was behind the mask!
Flash though was a bit irritated that the media thinks of him as a bad guy did think about that age old question, he knew the answer to it but should he release it to everybody else, Nah. That would probably garner unwanted attention!"So Flash discarded the idea.
"Man I can't believe he's really gone!" Soarin took a deep sigh, "You know it just makes me wonder why he gave up." Flash and Sandalwood both nodded in agreement, but then Soarin came to an obvious realization, "Wait Flash! You take pictures of him right?"
Flash's eyes widened a little bit, he didn't expect someone to actually know that despite the fact he's credited in half the newspapers, "Well.. yeah! Why?"
"Well have you ever talked to him before? Surely he would've told someone before he made a big decision like that."
Flash could've easily said yup and make up a story where Spider-Man indeed told him that he was quitting but that'd be too suspicious and would go along to well with Soarin's initial idea, "Well...yeah but I mean he didn't exactly tell me anything about quitting, half our conversations were just about getting pictures.
"And he didn't try to reject your offers and what not?" said Sandalwood.
"Well of course he did" Flash had to think quick, "It was a bit weird. He seemed mad when I asked him about it, he then told me that 'No more pictures, that pansy Jameson has turned the city against me' , and he swung off."
Soarin stroked his chin, "Gee I think the guy was dealing with some serious stress." Flash's eyes widened, they were basically figuring out one part of the puzzle, Oh my god Flash you better have not set yourself up for anything!
"wh-What make's you say that?" Flash asked with a stutter.
Luckily it didn't seem to phase Soarin at all and he continued, "Well, it's just a hunch but maybe Spider-Man just started to feel like protecting the city was too much to handle and he just quit, I mean I've never felt that type of stress before but I mean, well in a way we could maybe... relate to Spider-Man, I mean I don't know what he has going on his life." Soarin was trying to wrap his head around his own idea but just discarded it, "Nah it's probably nothing, maybe he just got tired or something."
Flash felt a sigh of relief, Thank God! The all began to walk to class while some stayed and watch the footage, most notably the Equestria Girls.
"I don't believe it!" said Sunset, "He's actually gone!?" she was in disbelief.
"Well it's not irregular for someone to give up on something." said Twilight, "But yeah it is still a bit of a shocker."
"Yes I do suppose it is rather a shame that he's quit, but I agree with Twilight, giving up on something is in the human nature." Rarity agreed.
Rainbow Dash who had though her parents were ones to despise Spider-Man, did grow to at least acknowledge him, "well maybe it's for the best. I mean people really, really don't like him!"
Applejack crossed her arm, "That no good Jameson is probably whut drove Spider-Man outta this city! Man I oughta give Jameson what he deserves!" Rarity put her hand on her girlfriends shoulder, prompting her to cool down a bit, "Whut? I can't voice my opinion" Applejack shrugged at Rarity.
Fluttershy agreed with Applejack, "Yeah! That Jameson is a big meanie!"
Pinkie Pie just shrugged, "Well who knows, maybe he's been through some experiences like losing his powers or something and along with that dealing with the many stresses that this city has to offer prompting him to stop being Spider-Man and throw away all his costume, permanently quitting. But hey that's just a hunch" Pinkie Pie shrugged and smiled.
The rest of the main seven seem to disagree, especially Sunset, "Yeah I lost you when you said 'many stresses'"
The Bell rung which meant classes were about to be in session which made the rest of the crowd walk towards their classes.
Meanwhile in classes, the talk about Spider-Man wouldn't simmer down, it was crazy, Flash was sitting in his desk opening a textbook to hide his uneasy face, My god! I knew this was gonna generate some news but I didn't think Spider-Man was still gonna be the talk of the town, this is outrageous!
Classes began eventually after the bell rang and the teacher walked stormed inside the room holding her textbook, "Alright Class, turn your pages to page 253" Instructed the Mrs. Cheerilee, "Let's continue our lesson yesterday."
Meanwhile, Electro now being fully recharged again and now holding more electricity than ever brings both Flint Marko and Alex O'Hirn to The Big Man. "I've found Maro and O'Hirn" The three of them walked inside with a bunch of goons holding Marko and O'Hirn at gunpoint behind their back, just in case they'd try anything stupid.
"Good." Big Man tapped his fingers, "Boys! Leave us." He ordered. The goons left the office leaving Big Man in a room with Electro, Alex and Flint. "So... how was your street voyage?"
Flint however wasn't having any of it and demanded Big Man to cut to the chase, "Okay ya freak why'd you drag us here? We know that you're involved that bastard Kingpin!"
Big Man smirked, he'd expect an introduction like that from one of Kingpin's former lieutenants, "I want to offer you a proposition"
"What kind of proposition?" Alex asked.
"I want to offer you a, 'special position', a type of job Kingpin never offered you!"
Flint looked less than impressed, "What's in it for us eh? Last time we got ourselves involved in this type a' business we got fucked in our asses!"
"That's why I'm giving you something better than Kingpin, I will pay you handsomely for your duties, and I will provide you with some additional power."
Flint and Alex who assumed power was a share of the city and having control of a part of the city were also hesitant to take up the job offer, but at the same time they would never get this type of opportunity again so they took a gamble with Big Man's offer, "Okay.... I'm in!" Alex hesitantly agreed.
"Yeah you know what count me in too!" Flint followed.
Big Man smirked wickedly, "Good. See me in a few weeks from now, I have some plans for you, but until then you two should lay low for a while." Big Man's two new 'employees' nodded and left the building, they knew of a place where they could hide out for a while and headed to that area.
That left Electro in the room with Big Man, "So I heard about your little interaction with Spider-Man yesterday." Electro's eyes widened for a moment and then he frowned, almost looking like he was gonna burst out in anger, to him he felt humiliated he was almost beaten by some goofball wearing a costume.
Electro began to speak, "Yeah about that I--"
Big Man however interrupted Electro with some shocking, (again no pun intended) news,"Too bad that's the last time you two will ever see each other!"
Electro looked confused and arched an eyebrow, "Why?"
Big Man took a deep breath, "He gave up!"
Electro's whole tone changed, from confused to shock, "What?"
"Yup! He's given up on being Spider-Man, haven't you seen the news?"
"What do you mean he's given up? and what happened on the news?" Electro demanded.
"Well earlier today The Daily Bugle reported that they had received Spider-Man's actual costume, and there hasn't been any sighting on him today at all, he's done" Big Man chuckled a little, "You know this might make things easier for us now, with the bug out of the picture there's no one that could stop us, not even the authorities!"
Electro however felt like he and Spider-Man had some unfinished business they could've taken care of, well mainly him, he wanted to kill Spider-Man and end him with his own hands. But this, there was not even any words that could be told to describe Electro's sheer bewilderment of Spider-Man's sudden change of heart, "Why? Why would he quit like this?"
Big Man shrugged, "Maybe he realized that it was pointless to go up against Canterlot's crime. I mean who knows, maybe right now he's crying in a corner or something, I don't know."
Flash was walking to the Sweet Snacks Café with Sandalwood, school had finally let out and Flash hadn't felt any better, he was less stressed than before and he got all of his work done just before the day ended, he was finally back
to the consistency he once lost as being Spider-Man.
"Aw man! Mr. Cranky Doodle is killing us with all these math assignments!" said Sandalwood as he and Flash walked inside, "When are we gonna even use trigonometry in the real world anyway?"
"Well.... maybe if you become a math teacher." Flash joked.
Sandalwood thought about that statement, "Touché Flash, just Touché"
Flash shrugged jokingly as they made it to the line, "And besides what's there to even hate about Math? Sure it can get tricky but still if you view it in a different way it could be fun, like viewing as a game or a puzzle."
Sandalwood chuckled, "Well I think you're the only one who actually thinks of it that way."
"What about Micro Chips?"
"He's Micro Chips Flash, he probably thinks of Math as baby food, it's to easy for him and you."
"Well you seem to like Physics." Flash pointed out.
"Well yeah but that's only because it's actually interesting enough for me to actually learn about, and besides Math to me is just a bunch of numbers."
The two continued to have a debate about Mathematics and Physics, to see which one was clearly the better one, that was until the two made it to the front of the line, that's where Flash had the biggest surprise of his life, "What.... is.... that?" Flash looked at a red sugar cookie, with icing art resembling Spider-Man's face.
Doo Wop, a waitress who had amber skin, purple hair and wore a waitress uniform turned to the surprised and a little shocked Flash, "Hmm? Oh these! Well there Spider-Man sugar cookies silly."
Flash's shoulders dropped, he knew he set himself up for a stupid question but he needed to make sure he wasn't losing his marbles, "But.. why?" Flash asked feeling very confused.
"Well it's our establishments personal way of saying 'thank you Spider-Man!'" Doo Wop informed, "Y'know after the news got out that he quit and all that." Flash felt so surprised and confused, the whole city hated home as far as he knew, why would everyone all of a sudden just start appreciating Spider-Man now that he's gone?
"Would you like one?" She smiled, handing him a cookie, "It's free!"
Flash snapped back into reality, "Huh?! Oh! um.. sure I'll take one! Oh could I also get an iced latte?" She handed him and went over to a brewer to make an iced latte, she came back holding the cold beverage.
"That'll be $2.56" Flash handed her the money and sat at a booth, waiting on Sandalwood.
He set the latte on the table top and looked at the sugary Spider-Man treat he'd been given. It was a dark red cookie, meant to represent his hoodie, with light red icing to serve as the mask base, with the added black frosting as the web pattern and black lens outlines, and cream cheese frosting as the color of the lens pieces.
"Man.... they really did a good job with this." Flash smirked a little as he stared at the cookie, but too bad he wasn't Spider-Man anymore to really appreciate it, still though it was a little nice knowing that some people did appreciate Spider-Man. Flash took a bite out of the cookie. There was nothing really significant about it besides the design but it did taste pretty good and it was decently chewie.
Sandalwood got out of the line and was about to head towards Flash, only to see Fluttershy sitting with her friends at one booth, they were usually open to let Sandalwood to hang out with them whenever he could, he looked back at Flash who was one booth ahead of them, he knew he shouldn't just ditch Flash to go hang out with his girlfriend, but at the same time he wanted to go see her so badly.
He ran up to Flash, who was taking another bite out of the cookie, "Hey Flash, I know this might make me sound like a bit of a dick friend but... do you maybe think I could go hang with Fluttershy and her friends?"
Flash looked behind him and saw Fluttershy and her friends, they were all eating together and doing some homework, it made him widen his eyes a little when he saw Curly Winds sit at the same table, but he understandably let Sandalwood go be with her, "Sure", Flash shrugged, "I was gonna head out anyway."
Sandalwood smiled, he was lucky to have such a good friend who understood people, "Oh my god! Thanks bro, I owe you one!" Sandalwood went off to the booth behind Flash and covered Flutterhsy's eyes to surprise her, Flash smiled a little, at least one of my friends are having good luck. He headed for the door.
At that moment, something really awkward was about to ensue. As Flash opened the door he accidentally walked into someone as he walked out, this caused the drink he was holding in his hand to nearly fall to the ground if it wasn't for Flash catching it.
"Sorry I didn--", as Flash looked up to see who he bumped into his eyes widened. Sunset Shimmer, the girl who dumped him really harshly, stood there with the same surprised expression. Flash hadn't even talked to her in a few days, it was honestly weird seeing her in public again. "Oh-- Uh...… Hi?" Flash was nervous out of his mind, the last time they talked Sunset was really reelin it into him, but Flash honestly didn't blame her in anyway.
"Uh..... Hi." She replied back in the same nervous tone, it was just as weird to see her ex standing right in front of her. They stood their for a few seconds, looking at each other nervously.
"Uh..... I'm just gonna go...." Flash arched his back upright and began to walk away from the scene rather quickly, it was weird he was crazy for Sunset only a few days ago, now he was more nervous to be around her than he was before they even dated.
Sunset watched as he left, watching him leave so quickly made her feel a little awful inside, all the words she said to him were coming back to bite her in the ass. She shook her head, she was with Curly Winds now, that's the boy she would focus on, she took a deep breath and walked inside.
Flash finally slowed down and started walking normally, he took a drink out of his latte and calmed himself down, What's wrong with you Sentry?!Flash was now personally attacking himself, You see the girl who you use to date and you act like an awkward moron?! Flash had no idea why he acted out like that around Sunset.
***
Flash had gotten home, he hung up his black hoodie and walked to the living room, "Mom I'm home!" Flash walked inside to the living room and got greeted by his mother.
"Hi Flash Sweetie! Good day at school?" She ran up to her son to hug him.
"Yeah!" He sat on the couch and let out a sigh, "Mom could I ask you something?"
"What is it?"
"Well...….." Flash trailed off for a moment, what he was about to say was really awkward.
"Hey, you can tell me." His mother encouraged Flash to speak up, wanting to know what troubles him so.
"Well.. me and Sunset kind of bumped into each other today."
"Oh, well I don't see why--", She stopped for a moment, taking in what Flash said she realized why he was feeling awkward, "Oh, OH! So you two had a brief confrontati--- Oh! so I'm gonna take a guess that it was."
"Awkward", Flash finished, "It was really, really awkward, and I thought that I could talk to you about it to see how you would view the situation."
Sabrina stroked her chin, "Well, what made it so awkward?"
"Mom, I couldn't even form a human sentence to her, I just said Hi and stood there before walking off quickly, I don't why I cant talk to her the same anymore, y'know before we were dating."
"Well Flash... Dating and Romantic Relationships aren't a bed of roses, I mean way before I met your Father I had so many other boyfriends and flings, when I went through my first break up it was heart breaking for me, it wasn't exactly easy for me to see him the same again and things got weird in public, but after a while we became really good friends, and he introduced me to Lucas."
Flash took his mom's words into consideration but then discarded some of what she said, "Mom I'm--- I'm not sure it's as easy as that anymore, I mean" He let out another sigh, "well you know how times change, people tend to change too."
Sabrina took a quick pause and asked him something that was probably still sensitive to him, "Flash, how did your breakup with Sunset even happen, what caused it."
Flash's eyes widened, he hadn't even tell anyone how things between Flash and Sunset become the way they did, "I'm not sure I want to talk about it, you might be disappointed--"
"Flash don't say things like that!" His mother interjected, "Just tell me how it happened, I'm not gonna ridicule you for it." She wanted to help Flash out but she needed to know the situation.
Flash took a deep breath, "Well, it happened the night they had their big show, when you dropped me off, As I was walking I heard police sirens down the road, I also saw.. Spider-Man swinging with the Police, I had my camera on me and I thought I could get pictures of him for the bugle, that was probably the most dumbest decision I'd ever made."
Sabrina was beginning to understand where it was going, "So you left to go take pictures and you ended up missing the show, didn't you?"
Flash put his hands on his eyes to cover the tears he felt were probably swell up, "I messed up okay!." His voice began to quiver, "I messed up real bad, now-- now she won't ever look at me the same way ever again!"
Sabrina put her arms around Flash, she knew he didn't mean any harm, at the same time she could've probably imagined what Sunset felt like as she was once in her place too, when one of her boyfriends missed a date or two, "Hey! People tend to mess up Flash it's not the most abnormal thing in the world, just... let that night be a lesson to you, a lesson to teach you not to--"
Sabrina stopped, she put her arms off of Flash and put it on her chest, Flash felt it and looked up to his mother, "Mom?" She began breathing heavily, like she was running out of breath. Flash had no idea what was going on. Sabrina staggered to her feet, clutching her chest even harder, she felt so much pain in her chest for no reason and it was getting harder to breath.
"Mom! What's going on?!" Flash was getting worried, he had no idea what was going on.
Sabrina took one last gasp before fainting, "MOM!" Flash ran to her and caught her before she could fall to the floor, "MOM! MOM! WAKE UP!" Flash was shaking her and trying to wake her up, but it was no use, she was motionless, "MOM!"

Author's Note
Okay so this is the 6th chapter of FSTSS Issue #2 Rebooted, so in this chapter Flash is trying to adjust to a regular life again, I add some reactions to people finding out Spider-Man quit.
I also show Electro's reaction, feeling unaccomplished and a bit disappointed but ultimately accepts the fact. Speaking of which I bring back Flint Marko and Alex O'Hirn, otherwise known as Goblins goons from the first story.
Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
Flash sat in a Hospital waiting room, it'd been almost 5-6 hours, Flash didn't even know but what he did know was it was night time. He was waiting there, anticipating for the results, to figure out what happened to his Mother. His hands clasped together, covering his mouth while leaning forward.
A Doctor came to Flash, "Are you Sabrina Sentry's child, Flash Sentry?"
Flash glanced up at the doctor and rose to his feet, "Yes! How is She? What happened?" Flash was paranoid and understandably hasty to know what happened to his mother.
"Calm down kid. She's going to be just fine, the operation went successfully!"
"Well what happened to her?" Flash asked with urgently.
"Well..." He took a deep breath as he what he was about to say was not easy, "She suffered a sudden heart attack"
Flash's eyes widened in shock, his mouth hung open, "W-WHAT?"
The Doctor put his hand on the worried teenager's shoulder, "I know this is all too much to take in Flash. But I assure you, she's okay now."
Flash wanted to take the doctors word for it but he still felt worried about his mother, nevertheless witness her heart attack first hand. Flash let out a sigh, "Can I see her?"
"Of course. Come right this way." The Doctor gestured Flash to follow him and they went to the room where his mother would be staying in. They made it to the room and stopped at the doorway, "Here's where she'll stay for a week or two, I'll let you in for a bit, but you'll have to leave in a few minutes."
Flash walked inside the dimly lit room, he saw his mother, laying in a hospital bed with a physiological monitor, he was a bit relived to see her sleeping peacefully but he was still much to worried about her, he sat at a chair next to the bed and held her hand with both of his. "Mom.... please....." He felt tears stream down his face, "I don't want to lose you too."
Flash wiped the tears off of his eyes and tried to stay strong, "I promise I won't let anything else happen to you." His voice quivered. Flash stayed there for a while not leaving his gaze from his mother for more than a millisecond, until he'd have to leave."
Flash laid in his bed, it was a cloudy Tuesday morning, he hadn't really gotten any sleep because he couldn't relax knowing his mother was in the hospital. How could I stay calm when Mom's in the hospital..... UGH! I don't even want to go to school!
But Flash discarded the idea of not going to school, he needed to, his mother would want that from him, not wanting him to jeopardize his chances for getting into Equestria State. Flash threw his blanket off of him and got up to get ready before school.
After 10 minutes or so Flash walked down the stairs, no longer being able to vault the banister, He grabbed a cereal box, a carton of milk and a bowl. Setting all of those items on the table, he pulled up a chair and sat down, Flash poured the cereal in the bowl and grabbed the milk carton. But there was a problem, "Are you kidding me?!" There was no milk in the carton, it was empty.
"Great, just GREAT!" Flash crushed the carton with his hands and threw it across the kitchen, "What am I supposed to eat now?" Flash poured all the cereal back into the box, not wanting to waist any or eat it without milk.
Flash checked his pockets, he only had a $20 bill, he was running low on money, "Shit!" He grit his teeth, "Clearly the bugle won't pay me anymore now that Spider-Man's gone! I'm gonna need a new job!" Flash, now on an empty stomach got out of the chair and grabbed a denim jacket, deciding to maybe buy something along the way.
Flash emerged from his home, locking the door behind him and walked to the sidewalk, he was full of sadness and anger, it was unbelievable, his hate for Spider-Man was almost nothing to him compared to this. Flash shoved both of his hands in the pockets of the jacket and began walking down the street.
***
Flash made it to school again, it was still a bit of a breezy morning, the sky still cloudy but it wasn't raining which was luckily a plus. But his day would start off on a terrible note. Walking into the school he was tripped by none other than Curly Winds.
"Hey Geek sorry I didn't see ya there!" Curly was with some of his lackeys who laughed at Flash.
Flash got up and looked at Curly, shoving him away! "Hey you know what why don't you go bug someone else Winds", Flash snarled and. He stormed off so he could get to class
Curly Winds laughed glancing away from him to look at his lackeys and then glancing back, "Oh-ho! Someone finally grew a pair of balls!" He continued to jeer at Flash, "Aww, Why so grouchy Sentry? Did your Mom not breastfeed you this morning?"
Flash stopped in his tracks, his teeth clenched together and his eyes widening, "What did you say?" He turned back around to Curly Winds who was approaching him.
"Okay let me say it word by word, Did...your...mom....not...breastfeed you" He shoved Flash back.
Flash snapped, He jabbed at Curly Winds face almost immediately after he pushed him! This Motherfucker has the nerve to say things like that! I'm gonna beat the living shit out of him!The Punch made Curly Winds stumble back but Flash did not end it there.
He dived towards Curly, sending him and Flash to the ground. Flash continued to punch him in the face, all of Flash's anger towards him was finally being let out on him. Flash didn't even care if he was hurting him. But the weirdest part of that was Curly Winds couldn't get up, it was like Flash was stronger than him.
But then Flash was pulled back, not by one Curly Winds' goons but by Soarin! Soarin held Flash by the arms and stopped him further from doing anything he'll regret, "Hey, HEY! Easy Flash! Easy! Calm Down! Don't do things that'll get you out of here ya hear?"
But also at that point, Vice Principal Luna had arrived at the scene, her and her sister Celestia had seen enough, "Both of you, my office NOW!" though a gorgeous lady, she was also stern and strong willed. Soarin let go of Flash and Curly Winds got up, the side of his mouth stinging.
***
Principal Celestia sat at her desk with things like a computer, a pen holder, papers anything and everything she needed to run a school was on that desk. Flash sat on a chair which stood right in front of her desk, with Vice Principal Luna keeping a close eye on him, standing beside the desk.
"I must confess Mr. Sentry I'd never expect to see you at this office for doing something so... well violent." Flash was silent, he was way too mad and disappointed in himself for doing something like this, Principal Celestia let out a deep sigh and shook her head, "Look. I understand the relationship between you and Mr. Winds has been very rough, and I also know you've had a hard time this year, losing someone isn't exactly easy to cope with, even for the most strongest people. But somehow, somehow you kept a positive attitude throughout the year and I must say I'm very impressed with you, but hurting another student, especially on school premises is not acceptable and cannot be overlooked young man!" Flash knew she was right, but what was he supposed to do, life had been throwing him into so many tough situations and it also seemed like Principal Celestia didn't want to harshly punish Flash, but she had to do something to discipline him.
"Tell you what, I won't give you any suspensions or expel you, and I won't give you any detentions. But I will have a punishment lined up for you after school, something that will teach you some discipline" Flash got out of his chair and began to walk off but Celestia had some last parting words, "Oh an Mr. Sentry!" Flash turned his head back, "This stays between me and you." Flash nodded with a blank expression before walking out of the office.
He walked past Curly Winds, both of whom didn't even acknowledge or say anything to one and other. Vice Principal Luna poked her head out of the door, "Mr. Winds! You can come in now!"
Curly Winds walked inside the office, sitting in the chair Flash had just sat on only moments ago, "Mr. Winds. I am very disappointed we have to see each other again."
But before Principal Celestia could finish, Curly Winds stood up, "Look, I'm a man and I'm man enough to admit I made a terrible mistake, but punishing Sentry for standing up for himself?! Look whatever it is surely you could make me do it instead, I mean, it's all my fault were here."
Principal Celestia smiled but ultimately disagreed, "As I do appreciate you for standing up for a student and try to take the hit, Mr. Sentry must learn that violence is not something we condemn here at Canterlot High! And besides, we'll have something in line to make the both of you end your silly squabble."
Meanwhile Flash was walking to class being super mute, his whole morning became a rollercoaster too fast for him to brace for. But then he was met with Sunset and her friends, she was mad, furious almost when she heard about the whole fight, it'd been circulating around the school, meanwhile her friends were not as furious but were a bit worried for Flash.
She spoke, "YOU HAVE SOME NERVE TO HURT MY--" But Flash walked passed her, not even acknowledging her, not even wanting to be by her, not wanting to hear one of her gloating sessions, or as he liked to think of it as,Sunset screaming out of her mind, he was too focused on too many things.
Sunset called out again, "HEY! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME SENTRY?!"
That was it. That was Flash's last straw, turning around he let all his anger get the best of him, "Oh my god you just cant shut up can you!" Sunset took a step back, she'd never hear Flash like this before. But she also wasn't about to take that.
"If this about me then why don't you--"
"Put a sock in it!" Flash angrily interjected. "If you want to talk shit about me. Than do it in your songs and go full fucking Taylor Swift on me! I won't even care cause honestly you're the last person besides your boyfriend I want to see right now. So shut up and LEAVE ME ALONE!" Out of anger he slammed the side of his fist into the locker. Putting a good dent into it. Flash stormed off, not even giving Sunset a glare.
Sunset stood there. Completely silent and a little shocked at what she just saw and heard from Flash.
Applejack rolled her eyes, "Uh.. Sunset he kinda has a point. Don't ya think you've bashed on him long enough?"
Sunset glanced at Applejack. "What?!"
Rarity let out a sigh, she too believed Sunset's little hatred for Flash had gone on long enough, "Honestly Darling, shouldn't you just stop by now, I mean he's had so much on his plate to deal with for a while, way too much for anyone to handle."
Rainbow Dash chimed in, "Yeah, I mean look at Twilight right now!" She pointed at Twilight who looked a mess, her eyes widened, her glasses crooked, hair all frizzed out and she looked very, very insane."
"4.0-NO 5.0 GPA! I....MUST.....UNIVERSITY!", Yeah Twilight was a bit of a mess mentally too, she was giggling very crazily.
Rarity turned back to Sunset, "Look what I'm trying to say is, leave the poor boy alone!" They all glanced at Flash who was at his locker, "He probably needs some more than anybody right now."
Sunset began to frown. Realizing that maybe she should back off.
Flash was walking down the street to go to the library, but as he did he stumbled upon a newspaper distribution box, He took out a quarter he had and inserted into the coin slot, opening the case and taking out the newspaper. The reason it caught his eye was because of what the headline said.
"CRIME RATE DRASTICALLY INCREASE OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS! WHERE ARE YOU SPIDER-MAN?!"
The headline newspaper basically talked about how crime in Canterlot City had increased since Spider-Man's 'Disappearance'. Flash frowned a little, the city was becoming a criminal hotspot without him and there was nothing he could do to stop them.

Spider-Man returns!/ A Heroic Spidey Montage
And Then he heard someone screaming in the distance, "HELP!" Flash's eyes widened, he looked around and his eyes made their way to an alleyway, he saw a man being beaten up, mugged, attacked in an alleyway by a two of thugs. "SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP!" The man yelped.
Flash gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, "Oh no that guy's in trouble!" But Flash stopped himself for a moment, he couldn't help him, he wasn't Spider-Man anymore he didn't have any powers. He looked down to the ground, "I can't... I'm powerless I can't do anything."
"NO!" Flash clenched his fists again, "I have to do something, even if it means I might die in the process" Flash looked back at the alleyway where the man was still being beaten up. He rushed towards the scene putting his hoodie over his head, he began sprinting faster, and faster and faster, heck I'm beginning to get a sense of Deja vu!
Flash ran across the street and towards the to the helpless citizen who was stilling crying out in pain. "HEY! STOP RIGHT THERE!" Flash exclaimed. The thugs all glanced at Flash but before they could say anything Flash leapt forward and drove a roundhouse into one of their stomachs.
"Oh I see, this kids just tryin to be a hero" The other thug mumbled to himself, "Okay well how about this!" He pulled out a switchblade and was about to swing at Flash with his back behind him.
Meanwhile Flash was swinging some punches of his own at the thug when suddenly something went off in his head causing his eyes to widen, something that he hadn't felt in a long time, My Spider-Senses.... They're Tingling! Flash turned around and saw the other thug who was about to stab Flash with the switch blade. Flash ducked and dodged the switchblade with incredibly fast reflexes. His powers, his powers are back! and Flash had no doubt in his mind.
The thugs eyes widened, "I-- MISSE--" But before he could even finish Flash kneed him in the 'babymaker', otherwise known as the male ball sack causing the thugs eyes to widen and drop the switchblade. He cupped his 'private areas' and got onto his knees squealing in pain. But then Flash kicked him in his face knocking him back and unconscious.
He turned back to the other thug who was trying to make a run for it, "Oh no you don't!" Flash ran towards him and leapt forwards again diving at him. In midair, Flash clasped both of his hands together and swung them at the back of the had of the thug, knocking him unconscious.
Flash landed, looking at his hands, his eyes, they felt like they were glowing.
"You saved my life!" Flash glanced off of his hands and to the man whom he just saved, "Please I must find a way to thank you somehow." The Man couldn't see Flash's full face as his hoodie covered his hair and some of his forehead.
"Uhh… no need to thank me citizen I'm just doing whatever I can to make this city a safe place!"
"Well.... I'm thanking you anyway!" He went into his jacket pocket and pulled out a $100 bill, "Here! Take this."
Flash shot his hands up, "No-No I don't want to take your money! I'm fine really."
"I insist! Besides I'm have more money than I don't know what to do with! Take it!" Flash with a skeptical face, hesitantly took the money.
"Hey stay out of these areas" Flash informed, "From what I know there's a lot of criminals hanging out here." The man nodded and ran off, leaving Flash at that same spot.
Flash then glanced back at his hands, all the signs were there again, the enhanced agility and speed, his strength and now once again his Spider-Sense. "Could it really be?" Flash glanced at the wall right in front of him, a movie he's seen to many times in his life.
Flash put his hand on the wall, and then his next hand, Flash took a deep breath, "This is where the fun begins!" Flash used both his arms and leapt high up into the air, Flash went past the top of the building, Flash felt that surge of confidence come back to him, the one thing that he lost after quitting as Spider-Man.
Turning himself around, Flash extended both his arm out, forming a horn shape on each of his hands, sticking out his index finger, pinkie finger and thumb. Soon came out a white, rope like material shooting out of his wrists. Flash's eyes widened and he grinned, the long strands of webbing stuck onto a flagpole.
"WOOO!" Flash screamed deliriously, as he swung through the alleyway, "I'M BACK!" Flash landed on the alleyway wall, running on it on an diagonal angle like it was a flat surface. Flash jumped off the wall and fired another webline, just with his one hand, which stuck onto a building, away from the alleyway.
Flash swung away from the alleyway and swung towards the building. In midswing he made a bold move and let go of the webline when it arced up, shooting Flash into the sky. He flipped in the air and looked at the city below him, he hadn't gotten this view in a while, he never knew how much he would actually miss it. "SPIDER-MAN IS BACK!" Flash began plummeting to the ground and onto a building top.
Flash landed on the building top with no pain whatsoever, he landed in a kneeling position, extending his other arm out to the side and his arm pointing at the ground as his whole palm was on it. Flash got to his feet, he was panting in pure excitement. But then he stopped, he let the three words he just uttered sink in for a moment, "Spider-Man... is back?"
Flash realized that it was his responsibility to protect this city! "Yes I have to be Spider-Man once again! The city needs me right now! How could I've been so stupid before! Without Spider-Man the city will be in constant danger and I made the promise to protect the city and be responsible with my powers! Even if it means I have to put all my personal needs and wants aside" Flash changed, he was now more dedicated than ever to be Spider-Man again and will do anything for the greater good!
Flash looked into the distance, he saw the Daily Bugle building, otherwise known as where his costume was being held at, "But first I need to make a quick pitstop."
***
Meanwhile at the Bugle, a bunch of photographers and media outlets were outside the display room of where they displayed Spider-Man's discarded costume. "Okay, OKAY! SETTLE DOWN!" J.Jonah Jameson demanded, "I know you all want to see this frauds suit but you have to bare with me here!"
"Mr. Jameson!" A reporter put a microphone near his mouth, "Kevin Johnstone from the Channel 9 news! What is the suit made of? and what is the condition of it so far?"
"Well you've seen the paper haven't you? The suit is fine! and as for the material.. I don't know it's probably latex or cotton or something!" J.Jonah Jameson opened the door to the Display room, also known as his office where he was met with a surprise.
"Jameson my favorite fan!" Spider-Man sat at Jameson's chair, leaned back with both his hands behind his head and his feet, rested on his chair, "Ya miss me?"
"SPIDER-MAN!?" Jameson screamed at the top of his lungs.
Spider-Man pulled the hoodie over his head back and opened his arms up, "The one and only" His green jacket sleeve that was once destroyed by Electro being fully restored. All the reporters and photographers went crazy all saying Spider-Man's name at once trying to get pictures of him and ask him questions.
"Woah!" Spider-Man jumped onto the glass celling of the office, clinging onto it, "Sorry folks! I just came by to say hi to my biggest fan and take back my property. Spider-Man climbed out of the glass ceiling using the way he took in.
Jameson's eyes widened, his teeth gritting he hadn't felt this much anger in years, "NOOO! THAT MENACE IS BACK! BACK I TELL YOU! I WANT HIM ARRESTED! PROESECUTED!" Jameson clenched his fists, "He can't be back!" He mumbled, "HE CAN'T BE!"
Spider-Man smiled as he heard that in the distance, Spider-Man was back! and back for good! But he needed to pick up the pace and get himself up-to-date about the crime activity in Canterlot City so far.
***
A bunch of robbers were robbing a bank, something that had become so much more easier now that Spider-Man was gone. "COME ON, COME ON!" A robber urged, "WE HAVE TO MOVE!" He was gesturing his hand at them, telling them to pick up the pace and leave with their money before the police could show up.
"I'M TRYING HERE!" Said one of the robbers, struggling to carry all the bags of cash.
But they were in for the surprise of their lives because Spider-Man swung in through the door! Making the doors swing open violently and letting go of his webline.
"OH SHIT IT'S THE WEBHEAD!" One of the robbers frantically pointed out
Spider-Man, mid air shot some webbing into one of the robbers eyes, "Aww you guys I'm flattered! You guys do still care!" Spider-Man mockingly joked. He landed onto the ground and looked at what he was up against. Glancing around the room he saw almost six robbers, well one of which was screaming as their was webs in his eyes. Looks like criminals have been taking advantage of places while I was gone!
"AHHHHH! " They all rushed towards Spider-Man, screaming, they didn't bother shooting him, they knew that he was able to dodge bullets, but running at him? that would probably be the worst mistake they made. "Oh boy!" Spider-Man pointed both of his arms in their opposite directions, pointing his right arm left and left arm right. He shot two strands of webs, both of which caught onto the faces of two other robbers.
Spider-Man tugged on both weblines viscously and then ducked, this caused both of the robbers to be thrown into each other head on! There heads both collided with each other knocking them both to the ground. "Wow you could say that you guys crashed into each other, HEAD ON!" Spider-Man sneered as he chuckled a little at his own joke, "Get it because both of them kind of hit each other with their hea--.
"OKAY PAL PARTY'S OVER!" A robber, someone who was much more bigger than Spider-Man, lunged towards him, attempting to dive on top of him. But, he made the mistake of even saying a threat because, along with Spidey's Spider-Sense, it prompted Spider-Man to jump out of the way, causing the big robber to crash into the ground, but it didn't hurt him.
Spider-Man's eyes widened, "If I stood there for a second longer I would've become human play-doh!" Spider-Man jumped back and clung onto a wall.
"WOULD YOU JUST STAY IN ONE PLACE YOU WALL CRAWLING FREAK!" The big muscly robber, staggered to his feet and began barreling towards Spider-Man. The tow other remaining robbers began to shoot their firearms at Spider-Man, thinking now would be a best time
Wow this takes me back to my old wrestling days! Spider-Man jumped off the wall and had to do the impossible, dodge bullets and take them out, but he was more than capable of doing that, why? because he's Spider-Man.
Spider-Man, in mid air shot a bunch off webbing at the two guns, blocking each of their muzzles and also stunning the robbers in shear shock. Spider-Man landed behind the two robbers who were shooting him earlier. Before they could turn their heads, Spider-Man used his leg and swept them off their feet.
Spider-Man glanced up and saw the big muscly robber was coming right at him. Spider-Man glanced up to the crystal chandelier up above. He extended both his arms out and fired two weblines onto the chandelier. "BATTER UP!" Spider-Man exclaimed as he leapt into the air holding the two firm weblines. This caused his body to twirl upwards.
This caused the huge Robber to run into Spider-Man's foot as he twirled in the air causing the robber to be knocked back into a wall. Upon crashing into the wall it also knocked the robber out!
Spider-Man let go of his two web lines and landed on the ground "HAH! MORON!" Spider-Man turned around and looked at the robber whom he'd shot webbing into his eyes when he swung through the door, "LOOKS LIKE SPIDER-MAN WILL BE NO MORE.. AGAIN!"
Spider-Man let out a sigh, "Man even when I'm gone these guys never learn" The Robber charged at Spider-Man, holding a crowbar thinking that he could end Spider-Man once and for all! But like all criminals Spider-Man deals with, he was wrong.
Spider-Man jumped back, as he landed he shot a strand of webbing onto the robber's chest, "HEY! I gotta an Idea!" Spider-Man proclaimed to the robber, "Let's play tug of war!" Spider-Man pulled on the web causing the robber to fall face first onto the ground. Spider-Man than shot some webbing on his hands and feet, keeping him pinned to the ground.
He turned to all the citizens inside the bank who were all hiding behind counters, pots, anything to protect himself, he saluted with both his fingers, "No need to thank me folks! I'm just doing my job!" He ran out the door and leapt in the air, firing a webline and swinging off.
Almost everybody erupted in cheers after being saved by Spider-Man. As Spider-Man was swinging he could hear the cheering in the distance, though it was a bit faint and muffled due to all the police cars squealing and the busy roads, it did bring a smirk to him behind his mask.

There were two criminal couple was on the run, one a slim teal skinned red headed woman wearing all black and wearing a black beanie to finish her ensemble was carrying a sack of jewelry on her shoulder and one a grey skinned, jet black hair and a medium build, being almost 6'3.
"Come on! move it Miranda!" The male robber demanded pointing his gun at officers.
"Well gee Michael! Maybe if you'd carry the bag you'd understand my struggles!" The female robber hissed.
"HEY STOP RIGHT THERE!" The officer was chasing the two robbers and was accompanied by two other officers, officer Hothoof and Officer Windy Whistles otherwise known as the parents of Rainbow Dash.
But unknown to the criminals on the run Spider-Man was swinging towards them in the same direction. Spider-Man. Spider-Man noticed the two running away from the police and he knew first hand, that he had to intervene. Spider-Man fired a webline onto a the top of a street light and swung downwards toward them.
"SHIT STOP!" Michael put arm out in front of Miranda as he saw Spider-Man making their way to them.
Spider-Man, still holding onto his webline landed on the ground, "Here hold this!" He handed the webline to Michael who was stunned by Spider-Man's standing right in front of him but then he got confused as he was handed the end of Spider-Man's webline by the webslinger himself. Spider-Man shot some webbing onto Michael's hand, the one that was holding onto the webline.
"AHHH!" Michael was sent flying up by the webline and was dangling in the air. Spider-Man chuckled a little, glancing up to the man with his hands on his hips Heh! They still fall for that trick even when they think they know me. Then his Spider-Sense went off he looked behind him and saw Miranda pointing the gun at him.
Spider-Man palmed his face briefly, "What was I thinking!" He sarcastically said to himself, "Everyone knows the rule is lady's first!" Spider-Man shot a strand of web right at the muzzle of the gun and pulled it out of Miranda's grasp. Spider-Man then began to look menacing to her, living up to J.Jonah Jameson's words.
But Miranda was unphased, though she looked like a pretty young woman to the naked eye, she was as tough as nails, "BRING IT ON YOU WEBFACED FU--" But before she could even act on anything, Lieutenant Windy Whistles tackled her to the grown.
"Yeah right not today you bum!" She was trying to handcuff the female criminal but she was squirming a lot, but eventually the even stronger Windy Whistles cuffed her hands.
Spider-Man walked past the two other officers but before he did, he patted the shoulder of Officer Hothoof, "He's your problem now Sergeant." Spider-Man fired a webline and swung off.
Officer Hothoof glanced back at the swinging hero, he actually smirked, "Good to have you back you bastard!" He and his wife actually took a liking to Spider-Man not really hating him anymore and deciding to overlook Jameson's words and acknowledge him as an actual hero, something they learned from their own daughter.

It was the beginning of the night, by now everyone knew Spider-Man was back, The Daily Bugle, though being known for printing a lot of Anti-Spider-Man propaganda was making even more sales than they were when they reported on Spider-Man quitting, they'd sold out so many printings. Small shops and businesses were also profiting off of it selling Spidey themed merchandise and food, even billboards were displaying all the Spider-Man footage they could get and pictures taken by yours truly. The whole city was in on the Spider-Man is back bandwagon.
But that's not to say that everything was still safe in Canterlot, though Spider-Man had managed to clean up the streets enough to lower the growing crime rate, crime was still a foot, like right now!
At a warehouse owned by a Sicilian Mafia crime family, a few representatives from Big Man's criminal network were making dealings with some Mafia crime family members, The head of the family Eddie Alessandro, his consigliere Luca Angelo and a few soldatos all were in a private room.
"Let the dealings proceed!" A goon of Big Man's said sitting on a chair behind the table in which The head of the crime family sat on the other side of, "You got the stuff?"
"Of course" Eddie said with a nonchalant tone and a very strong Sicilian accent, "But the question is, do you have your method of payment is the question?"
Another one of Big Man's goons, a criminal lieutenant, threw a three whole brief case! of cash onto the table, "Here, $120,000 in 20 Dollar Bills. Not to little, not to much."
Eddie turned to his consigliere and spoke to him in their native language, "Luca, conta il soldi! (Luca count the money!)" Luca opened up the three brief case and began to count the money, he was a mathematical genius so it didn't take him long to count the cash.
"Va tutto bene Eddie. Hanno portato la giusta quantità (It's all good Eddie, they've brought the exact amount.)"
Eddie smirked, "Then we shall let the dealings proceed!" Eddie snapped his fingers and one of his soldatos handed him a brief case full of Cannabis, but not just any Cannabis, this specific product is imported from Sicily but there was a special ingredient in them which gave the user enhanced strength, a new ingredient that has been cleared to be used in the criminal underworld.
Big Man's goon who was sitting on the chair, opened the brief case and looked inside. Inside were a bunch of small plastic bags filled with the 'special marijuana.' The color of the substance was a lot more vibrant and it glowed a little due to the serum that was injected into the plants.
"Impressive. Most Impressive!" The goon smirked, "May I?" he asked.
"Of course." He gestured his hand to the brief case which signalled the goon to grab a paper. Taking a small amount of the cannabis he placed it into the paper and then rolled up the paper, making a joint. He pulled a lighter out of his pocket and lighted his joint, he put it into his amount and took a smoke out of the joint, puffing out all the excess smoke. "Taste's smooth! I think we got ourselves a deal."
But what they didn't know was Spider-Man was just outside the warehouse and watched the hole interaction between the two, he'd gotten his intel after seeing that goon brag about bringing home some 'Special stuff! to the hangout' and he tailed him to this exact spot "Well looks like someone's selling dope in these parks!" Spider-Man snorted, "Looks like I better do something before this stuff could get into the city!
Spider-Man fired a webline onto an abandoned crane which was left their by some construction workers a while back. Spider-Man snagged the webline and began to swing towards the warehouse, but in midswing he realized something vital, Wait! Maybe I shouldn't just--
*CRASH!*
Before he could finish his mental sentence, Spider-Man crashed through the window of the huge warehouse, catching the attention of the mobsters and gangsters.
"Crash through the window." mumbled Spider-Man.
"OH SHIT! IT'S SPIDER-MAN!" A Soldato pointed out.
"Sorry fellas! Did I crash this party?" Spider-Man let go of his webline and then shot multiple strands of webbing at all the artillery of all 5 of Big Man's Goons and all seven of Eddie's Goons. He pulled all the guns away from everyone in the room and throwing them away into the broken hole of the window.
Spider-Man landed on the ground in his patented pose, "Come on tough guys? Didn't you watch any PSA's about the harmful risks of drugs? Those things could be dangerous!"
Luca, and everybody else didn't even take Spider-Man's words into consideration, Luca pointed at Spider-Man and screamed, "GET HIM!" signalling everyone to rush at the masked teen. This caused a distraction and gave Eddie the opportunity to run and that's what he did. Eddie, along with two other Soldato's rushed towards the exit and actually escaped, not even being noticed by Spider-Man, who was focused on the 12 gangsters rushing towards him.
Spider-Man leapt in the air and actually did something a bit risky by landing closer to them even causing them to be stunned for a moment. Spider-Man extended both of his arms to his right and left side, shoving one gangster with his right hand and punching another gangster with his other, knocking both of them back.
Spider-Man then dodged some attacks coming from the mosh pit of gangsters and he saw some chairs that caught his eye, "Hey guys? How about a game a musical chairs?" Spider-Man thought fast, he leaped in the air to get out of the bunch of gangsters and fired to weblines at the chairs that were left at the table where they had been doing their dealings. "You know what? I'm actually thinking of a game of catch!" Spider-Man swung the chairs at Luca and another one of Big Man's goons, knocking the goon out and knocking Luca to the ground! Spider-Man landed onto the table and then jumped backwards and landed onto the ground.
"Jesus they were right about this guy! He doesn't stay in one spot!" , said a gangster. They all began to rush towards Spider-Man now that he had jumped to the other side of the room.
"Man you know it never dawned on me that these guys have a lot of stamina!" Spider-Man glanced at the table that was right in front of him. He kicked it down to it's side and then getting onto the ground, he positioned the bottom of his feet essentially, underneath the table top. He uncoiled his legs quickly sending the wooden table flying towards The band of gangsters! This caused even more of them to be knocked back and even knocking out 3 of them.
Spider-Man gasped, My Spider-Senses are tingling! Luca had managed to get behind Spider-Man without him noticing. He swung his fist towards the back of Spider-Man's head but he missed as Spider-Man ducked and spun around, he kicked Luca's shin! Enough to trip him off his feet.
Spider-Man then webbed his hands and feet to the ground, "WHAT THE HELL!--" Spider-Man shot a web in his mouth to shut the consigliere up.
Spider-Man turned back around, there were not that much gangsters left standing and only a few, "Okay! So I mean if you guys just cooperate with me here, maybe we don't have to get hurt and we could--"
"GET THE FUCK!" Screamed on of the last standing Gangsters, rudely interrupting Spider-Man!
Spider-Man sighed, "Oh boy!" Spider-Man leapt fired a webline onto a railing which was a part of the upper deck of the warehouse. Spider-Man began to swing towards one of the Gangster thugs, he extended both his leg out and kicked a gangster into midair.
Spider-Man, midswing shot two webs towards his hands, these webs made impact with the gangster's hands and managed to send him back into a wall, the webs sticking onto the wall and suspending him from the ground.
Now there were only 2 thugs left, "Well I might as well do it the less violent way!" Spider-Man let go of his webline and ricochet off the railing of the upper deck section. The 2 gangsters who had been watching Spider-Man up until that point tried making a run for it, knowing very well they were no match for the web slinging hero.
But to their surprise, Spider-Man grabbed both of them by their collars, "What chowder heads? You guys are afraid of me now?" Spider-Man threw them into the air and he began to start webbing both of them up while they were in the air. Spider-Man could hear police sirens on their way, Spider-Man fired two weblines and was about to sling shot himself out of the scene but before he did he turned to one of the webbed up gangsters, "Hey can you guys say hi to my fans in the slammer? Thanks!" Spider-Man shot himself into the air and left the same way he came in.
The Police arrived at the scene busted through the front door, "STOP WE HAVE THE PLACE COMPELTLEY SU-rounded?" she stopped yelling into her megaphone when she saw unconscious thugs on the ground and webbed up thugs on the ground and one on the wall.
"Looks like someone here had their way with the place and Spider-Man is written all over it!" She mumbled a bit surprisingly and feeling really shocked.
Eddie stormed into Big Man's office with his two soldatos pointing machine guns at the silver crime lord, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!" He yelled in anger and frustration towards Big Man. A few of Big Man's bodyguards, also being criminal lieutenants pointed their guns all at Eddie and his two Soldatos, looking much more menacing but not even scaring Eddie or his Soldatos.
"Something troubling you Mr. Alessandro ?" Big Man asked in a nonchalant tone.
"YOU BET YOUR ASS THERE'S SOMETHIN' BOTHERIN' ME AND IT'S SPIDER-MAN INTERFEARIN' WITH OUR LITTLE TRANSACTION"
Big Man arched an eyebrow, "Oh?"
"THAT FUCKIN' BUG NEARLEY GOT ME ARRESTED NEVERTHELESS ALMOST KILLED!" Obviously Eddie was being overdramatic, he didn't even have any confrontation with Spider-Man so it'd be impossible for him to be arrested by him no less get him killed.
"Okay, here's what I think about the situation." Big Man snapped his finger once signifying his bodyguards to shoot.
Without and hesitations or second thoughts they all pulled their triggers to their guns and shot down Eddie Alessandro dead along with his two other soldatos.
He looked at one of the bodyguards, "You! Dispose of the bodies, put them in the incinerator for all I care!" He turned to the other bodyguard, "And You! Call Zek in right now!" He glanced back at the bodies and took a deep breath, "It seems that his little rival Spider-Man is disrupting business as we speak!"
Flash made it to his mother's room in the hospital, "Hey Mom!"
She was sitting upright reading a book and she was getting a lot better, "Oh Flash! What are you doing here at this time?"
Flash laughed as he walked up to his mom and hugged her, "To see you of course!"
She smiled, "Oh how sweet of you! Oh! You should've been here 5 minutes ago, your Aunt called in from Tokyo, oh she was so happy to know that you're coming over for the summer!" Flash giggled a little but his mom than began to frown a little, "Flash.... are you sure you want to go on this trip?"
Flash stopped laughing, why did she ask something like this, I mean she agreed to it, "Well yeah! I haven't seen Aunt Thunderstar in a while!"
"I know it's just..... Oh I juts can't imagine you being that far away for so long." Though it'd been months since Flash's Dad passed away, his mother still felt overprotective over her only son, but this was understandable, who wouldn't?
"Mom.... I know it's a bit nail biting for you bit I'll be fine on an Airplane, and Aunt Thunderstar said she would be picking me up!" Flash's mom felt a lump feeling in her throat seeing her son mature so much after everything they've been through together.
She put her hand on Flash's warm cheek, "Go home, you need some rest, sleep well" Flash nodded before hugging his mom one more time. He walked out the room to head home, it was a really long day for him.
Author's Note
Okay so this is eight chapter of FSTSS Issue #2 Rebooted: Electro, so this has been a bit of a shorter story and I tried to use as much brain power as I possibly could.
So in this chapter Flash gets his powers back after his brief stint of quitting as Spider-Man but after finding his purpose again he rethinks his decision and takes back the mantle. So I make him getting his suit back more to the comics than in Spider-Man 2 (2004) with him wearing it behind the closed doors of J.Jonah Jameson's office and than just greeting him when he enters his office to show the costume on display, giving audiences more than what they'd bargain for.
So this chapter took quite a bit to write as I wrote in a montage scene of Spider-Man cleaning up the streets while he was gone, and some implied behind the scenes fights, one of them leads him to cross paths with Big Man's gangsters which will undoubtedly set up more storylines in the future.
So I haven't really been writing a lot, not that I'm tired of it because I really enjoy just letting my imagination seep out into words but because of two main things, School and school work taking up my time table and The NBA Season just started and if you know I am a really big fan of Basketball and the NBA!
So You don't have to read the rest of this but if you like the NBA just like me than you can stick around just to hear my opinion on the season so far.
So I am an avid NBA fan, I like a lot of the players like Lillard, Jokic, Murray Embiid, Love, Siakam, Lebron, Leonard, George, Davis, Harden, Capela the list will go on for hours on end.
So I've watched a few games and I know it's pretty early but oh my god the Warriors have been such an interesting team to watch, now I'm not a Warriors Fan, I do respect a lot of the players but I couldn't really watch their games because of how boring it was to watch them dominate. But I've watched them so far this year and they are 1-3 so far, 1-3! It's like really weird to hear the Warriors are now the eleventh seat but it's a reality it's crazy.
Something else which is crazy is like the LA teams, bot of them have been really good this year with The Lakers doing surprisingly better now that AD is on the team, I've also noticed Lebron like not score as much anymore, It's weird but I think the addition of AD really takes some of the load off of him. And Kawhi on the Clippers (I'm kinda hurt cause I live in Ontario and he left the Raptors this offseason) It's been nice to watch him play with his new teammates but I think it'd be more exciting to see PG also share the court with him!
Speaking of the Raptors Pascal Siakam has been killer this year! Averaging 28 points! I'm really excited to see where the team goes this year!
Anyway that's enough about me babbling about basketball, tell me what you think about this compared to the original in the comments, hey maybe even like I don't know 🤷
Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
Electro and Spider-Man in the big city!
Flash, or rather Spider-Man swung back home, he let go of his webline and clung to the wall of his house and climbed through the window before anyone could spot him. He took off his mask and walked over to turn on the lights in his room, He'd been gone all day, fighting off criminals and seeing his mother. He wasn't as angry about fighting crime though, he found new love in being Spider-Man again and knew he needed to keep the city under control.
Flash, still wearing the costume as well as the clothing over it, walked over to the hallway where his gaze was met with his parents bedroom, he frowned, none of them were here one was in the hospital and the other was in a much better place now. He turned on the lights to the hallway before making his way downstairs and turning on the lights to the kitchen and living room.
He strolled over to the Television and turned it on, he switched past a lot of channels until he stopped on the movie channel, thinking he could watch movies until he fell asleep, "Well I haven't seen Star Wars in a while!" Flash leaned back into his soft, comfy couch, it was relaxing to be home and wind down.
But then his phone rang, he sat up right and took the phone out of his khaki short pockets. When he read the caller ID his eyes winded, "SUnset Shimmer?" He almost screamed but luckily he calmed down. Flash was a bit hesitant at first, they'd been through so many awkward things this year and he's pretty sure he shunned her today. Oh man she's probably super pissed about what happened earlier today.
Flash nervously gulped and answered the call, he took a sigh, "Yeah?"
"Hey....Flash." She didn't sound angry at him which was a good sign.
As soon as Flash heard that voice that he'd always listen to, he could tell something was wrong, she sounded a little sad, but before anything he had to get something off of his chest. He took a deep breath and began to speak, "Look.... Sunset about what happened at school... Is Curly Winds okay?" But she didn't say anything. Flash tried to ask again, "Uh Sunset?" He asked softly, "I'm sorry for what I did, but please I just need to know, is he alright?"
At that moment Sunset broke down into tears, Flash at that moment knew something was definitely wrong, "Hey... what's wrong?"
Sunset spoke as she continued sob, "Oh Flash, It's horrible." She sniffled, "Me and Curly, We Broke up!" She was choking up, she hadn't felt this sad in a while and it was the worst feeling ever.
Flash was a bit stunned to hear that news and he didn't know what to say, what to do, he didn't even know why Sunset was telling him all of this. "I...… I'm so sorry Sunset." Flash stuffed his one hand in his pocket upon feeling the cold breeze in his living room. "Do you maybe wanna talk about it?"
Sunset sniffled again, "I--- I don't know. It's.... I just I don't know. It's not really something I want to talk about right now "
Flash softly insisted, like his mother had when he talked about his breakup, "Hey come on now it's okay. I won't judge you I promise."
Sunset was almost in disbelief, even after yelling at him and insulting him, he was still being nice to her, she made a good choice calling him and just having a chit chat, "Well..... Okay!" She still was sobbing a little, "It was just a few hours ago.. we were in another fight, but this one was much more crueler and we were much more meaner to each other. We said things to each other and then he finally broke his silence and told me what he's been wanting to say to me for a while."
Flash arched an eyebrow, "What'd he say?"
There was a long pause but Sunset took a deep breath and wiped some tears off her face, her voice still quivering, "He told me he was---"
Everything stopped, the power completely cut off! Flash was startled, it all happen to quickly, "Hello? Sunset?... ANYBODY?" Flash looked at his phone, he had no Wi-Fi bars and no LTE bars, The Television shut off, all the rooms were dark with only the moonlight bringing in the only source of brightness and it was quiet.
"The power went off? But how?! We payed the bill this week!" Flash tried going to a light switch but it didn't work, then he tried turning on the TV but to no one's surprise it didn't turn on. "Well.... Maybe I could go into the town for a while, I mean it's not that late and I'm not gonna have anything to do for a while."
Flash went upstairs so he could change out of his Spider-Man ensemble. Leaping up to the banister and grasping the railing, he climbed over it and made his way into his bedroom.
Upon entering his bedroom, he realized that it was too dark inside, though his laptop did provide some light source the room was completely dark as he had left the lights on and close the curtains. "Well I should probably open the blinds or somethin'."
Flash walked over to his window to open the curtains, when he opened the curtains he was in the shock of his life, "What?!" Flash's house was not the only one to lose power, the whole street did! In fact the whole neighborhood lost it's power, "How?! This is impossible!"
But Flash looked into the distance, the city though it was far, Flash could still see some buildings as he did have a good view of the city from his bedroom, but.... it was dark, the whole city had no colorful lights or anything like it usually did, well accept for one. Flash could make out something glowing and it had a yellow color.
"What is that?" Flash was trying to figure everything out, "How did this happen, I talked to Sunset, the power went out, I check my window and the whole city has no power either and there's some glowing thingy in the distance!?" Flash sat on his bed, leaning forward and clasped his hands together, resting them on his mouth.
That's when it hit him, he gasped, "Electro!" Flash rose to his feet, "How could I've forgotten about that guy!" Flash had completely forgot about Electro shortly after becoming Spider-Man again, it must've been something he overlooked.
Flash clenched his fist, he could almost hear his dad speaking to him, "Y'Know! This maybe a good time to stop your dastardly enemy, you know the guy messin' with the city? Y'know ELECTROOO?"
"I have to put an end to this!" Flash grabbed his Spider-Man mask and put it over his headed downstairs, he needed to insulate himself one more time so he couldn't be affected as much by Electro's Attacks. "Wait a minute..."
Flash stopped himself. "Every time I try and fight Electro I lose my powers" Flash then realized it, Electro is the reason he lost his powers, it was like some sort of Frankenstein concept, every time he get's hit with one of Electro's violent Electricity beams and charges, he either loses his powers for a brief moment or maybe even a few days, weeks even.
Flash clenched his teeth though as well as his fists, "NO! I have to face him again! If I don't the whole city will be jeopardy because of me!"
Flash made his way back downstairs and grabbed another Pair of Rubber gloves, then he grabbed some scissors, he cut a bit of the bottom, just enough so his wrists weren't covered by them, this was so he could shoot webbing at Electro and still land a few punches on him, he also began cutting the tips of the gloves off so he could still climb on walls. He also found some rubber shoes, they were a bit lighter than rubber boots and were something Flash should've used during his first fight with Electro in the Prison.
"Okay Electro, let round three begin!" Spider-Man put his on his mask.
"YES, YES!" Electro laughed manically, "THIS SHOULD FINALLY BRING SPIDER-MAN RIGHT INTO MY HANDS!" Electro was the cause behind the cities whole power outage. He'd been called in by Big Man, he told him that Spider-Man had returned and that he needed to care of this pest.
But Electro needed to do something big, really big SUPER BIG! He worked under Big Man's orders but Big Man didn't exactly tell him what to do except to take out Spider-Man once and for all. So he took matters into his own hands and did something really big.
Taking as much tech from CircoVision as possible, he upgraded his costume, helping hold in as much electricity as possible.
Electro was on top of the tallest building in Canterlot City, taller than Canterlot Towers, The Sphinx! The huge and tall skyscraper in that stood as the tallest building in the city. At the top of the building stood a satellite tower, the structure Electro stood on top of.
The citizens of Canterlot City were held up in stores, little shops, anyplace where they could take shelter while others were fortunate enough to be at home and away from the city, the roads were still busy with vehicles, as some were trying to drive away from the downtown core and trying to go to safer areas of the city.
"Just you wait Spider-Man! I'LL FINALLY END YOU! ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Electro was insane, he was finally gonna have the chance to kill Spider-Man and what he thinks is his irritable reign on the city as it's #1 Crime Fighter. "COME AND FACE ME!"
Spider-Man was gonna make good on that promise, he was swinging through the dark city, hoodie over his head, "Looks like I'm getting close to my destination!" Spider-Man fired a webline at a crane and swung over and under it, the webline wrapping a round it. Spider-Man let go of his webline and fired another one, the bright glow of Electro was getting brighter.
Spider-Man let go of his strand of webbing and leapt forward, towards the wall of The Sphinx Tower. He clung onto the wall and skittered up the wall. He could see Electro, his hands engulfed in charges of Electricity. "Alright Electro I'm here!" Spider-Man proclaimed.
Electro glanced down still grinning wickedly, "Ahh! Spider-Man, I see you got my invitation!"
"Invitation?! I don't know, taking out the entire city's power seems a little overboard, don't you think?" said Spider-Man sarcastically trying to sound baffled.
Electro shrugged, "Well I needed something that stood out from normal invitations, and turns out it worked" He gestured his index finger to Spider-Man, signalling him to come at him.
Spider-Man leaped in the air making a grunting noise. At the same time Electro sent multiple charges towards Spider-Man. But Spider-Man had come prepared, wearing his 'homemade rubber combat gloves' and rubber shoes, he kicked the lightning away from him, though it was not really that much of a surprise to Electro.
Spider-Man fired a webline at the top of satellite tower which Electro stood on and he swung upwards as soon as he snagged it. Spider-Man swung towards Electro, outstretching his legs out and making his feet impact with Electro's face! This caused Electro to go flying into the air but he regained his balance and began floating in the air.
"AND WE HAVE OUR FIRST HIT FROM YOUR'S TRULY!" Spider-Man imitated a sports commentator before he fired another webline and swung towards Electro again.
Spider-Man let go of his webline when it was on an arc and then dived towards Electro, clenching his fist he got close enough to Electro, prompting him to swing his fist at Electro. But Electro caught his fist just before he could even land the punch on him.
"Yeah! Let's hope that hit will be your last!" Electro swung at Spider-Man with a punch of his own right to his stomach but luckily Spider-Man raised his leg and kicked the punch away. This stunned Electro a bit which gave Spider-Man a tiny moment to attack. Spider-Man used his left hand and drove his fist into Electro's stomach! This made Electro let go of Spidey's right fist and growl in pain.
"Don't worry there's plenty where that came from!" Spider-Man used his right fist and punched Electro in the cheek but before he could get off another attack. Electro stunned Spider-Man with some electricity and grabbed his leg.
He threw him down towards the ground which was a very, very long way down from how far up Spidey and Electro were. But luckily Spider-Man regained balance. He shook his head and fired a webline at a building with a flag pole on top of it. Spider-Man swung over towards the building and clung onto the metal pole once he made contact with it.
Spider-Man gazed into the sky, Electro was coming, and coming close, he was flying at a fast speed. "Come on Electro! Come to Spidey!" Spider-Man muttered to himself.
As soon as Electro go close to Spider-Man charged up two electric energy charges and was flying towards Spider-Man fast, "Hey Wall-Crawler!" He scoffed, "Take THIS!" He threw the charges at Spider-Man who was still on the flag pole, Spider-Man leapt off the metallic pole and jumped towards Electro.
"Right back at ya Bolts for brains!" Spider-Man shot two webs in Electro's eyes, blinding his field of view. Now's my chance! Spider-Man fired a strand of webbing at Electro's foot, "Hey while were up here, how about a little sky diving lesson huh?" Spider-Man, using his webline, threw Electro towards the ground and chased him, letting go of his webline he then begins diving towards the human electric capacitor!
Spider-Man got close enough and starts punching Electro as the both plummet towards the ground. But Electro then gained the upper hand, finally getting Spider-Man's blasted webbing off of him he kicks Spider-Man in the stomach, exerting a decent enough of electric charges to put Spider-Man in electric shock! Completely freezing him as he was stunned.
"Come on Spidey! I came here for a battle, not a game of tag!" Electro scoffed viscously. Electro flew up and grabbed Spider-Man by his mouth using only one hand. He then flew towards the road of Canterlot City bringing Spider-Man with him at fast speeds. He was gonna slam, no in tomb Spider-Man into the asphalt and try to end this fight as fast as possible.
He was getting close, real close but then.....
My Spider-Senses are Tingling! Spider-Man regained consciousness and kicked Electro's stomach, causing him to let go of Spider-Man. Spider-Man landed on the asphalt and glanced up at Electro clenching his teeth, "If I didn't have my Spider-Sense I would've ended up as a pathway for cars to drive over me!" Spider-Man glanced at the many vehicles still on the road.
Spider-Man fired to weblines at Electro's feet, using his super strength he began spinning him in circles, he began mumbling ring around the rosie, until he got to the final lines, "And we all go, DOWN!" Spider-Man slammed Electro into the asphalt and lunged towards him.
But Electro wasn't going down that easily, "Okay Web head, try these on for SIZE!" He began shooting multiple Electric energy balls at him and FAST!
Spider-Man's eyes widened behind his mask, "What can't this guy do!" He arched his back really far back dodging a few before jumping into the air and onto a street light but he wouldn't stay there for long. Electro continued to shoot his retched attacks, causing Spider-Man to go all over the place not letting him stay in one spot.
"At this rate I'll have more success than a baseball player using a golf club in a soccer game! I better move things, and fast!" Spider-Man fired a webline and began swinging away from Electro but in reality he was prompting Electro to follow him.
"OH NO YOU DONT! GET BACK HERE!" It worked, Electro started flying towards Spider-Man and began blasting more and more deadly electric charges at the web-slinger. Spider-Man luckily was able to dodge a lot of these attacks, swinging from side to side, up and down, he was not an easy target.
Spider-Man arced his webline a little and let go of it, he glanced at a door shop, selling primarily doors, this gave Spider-Man an idea, "Hey Electro!" He shot two strands of webbing and grabbed the a door, "Let's play house! How about you be the door and I'll slam ya!" Spider-Man used his weblines and threw the door towards Electro. But unfourtanetley he flew through the weak wooden door, breaking it to pieces and still tailing Spider-Man!
Man this guy is like a bull! He'll-- Spider-Man dodged a electric blast from Electro Probably still be charged up before the night is over. But then Spider-Man glanced up, he saw the Canterlot Water Tower! Of course! I shoulda thought of this from the start! Water+Electricty = Horrible outcomes!
Spider-Man using his brain realized that Electricity and Water did not mix well, Now I need to lure Electro over there! Spider-Man, like driving a car, turned right at the next intersection on Starswirl Avenue and towards the water tower. Electro followed, not even wasting that much electricity.
Spider-Man landed right in front of the Water tower, it was huge and Flash had no doubt in his mind that it would probably be a lot to pull down and onto Electro, Speaking of which! Spider-Man turned around and dodged one of Electro's static punches and counter punched Electro in the side of his body and kicked Electro back as hard as he can in the face.
"Okay come on! Spider-Man you can do this!" Spider-Man stepped back a few and shot multiple weblines at the base of the water tower and began pulling. But it was not budging! "COME ON!" Spider-Man groaned. he fired a lot more and pulled as hard as he can using all of the might he possibly could, but it was no easy task for the masked hero!
Electro got back up again and raged towards Spider-Man, "Oh come on!" Spider-Man held all the webbing with on of his hands and ducked his head to dodge Electro's attack, in doing so he made a bold statement by slamming his head into Electro's chest and then kicking him away even further.
Spider-Man looked back at the water tower and decided to shoot even more weblines, this time at the water tank itself and pulled, "Come on! COME ON!" He clenched his teeth as he pulled with all his might! Electro got back up again, doing.
He began charging up everything he had in him! While Spider-Man's back was turned, "OKAY WEB HEAD! LOOKS LIKE YOU TIME HAS COME!"
Spider-Man heard that but was too focused on trying to pull the water tower down, Come on Flash! You have to do this! For everyone in the city, for mom, for your friends! You have to end this! The water tower began to budge and started angling slightly downward but at the same time it was exempting all his strength, it was just too much for him to handle.
Than Flash heard the sound of his father's voice, remembering something he had once said to him a long time ago when he was a child Hey don't be so down on yourself kid! Things always don't go the way you wanted them to. But even so you'll eventually jump over the huge hurdle in your life and prevail, just always believe in yourself!
Spider-Man's eyes widened as he was pulling down the water tower, he had to do the one thing he never did as Spider-Man or in his life that often, believe in himself!
Electro rushed at Spider-Man with his hands charged up with the most powerful electric charges he had he laughed maniacally, "SEE YA IN HELL SPIDER-MAN!!"
"COME ON...….. SPIDER-MANNNNN!" The exhausted Spider-Man found some new strength in himself and pulled the water tower down! Spider-Man let go of all his webline and lunged towards Electro.
Electro who was still caught up in his pride didn't even notice the water tower coming down at him, "SO YOU'RE COMING EMBRACING YOUR OWN DEATH! WISE MOVE SPIDER-MAN BUT IT WONT DO YOU ANY GOOD!" But Electro was in the shock of his life when Spider-Man slid beneath him.
Then he saw a huge shadow casted under him, "What the hell...." He turned around and widened his eyes. "NO, NO, NO!" But Spider-Man turned around and leapt towards Electro.
"Sorry Electro! But looks like you need to take a bath!" Before Electro could even turn around, Spider-Man punched him in his back as hard as he could! Sending Electro barrelling towards the falling structure.
"NO! THIS CANT BE HAPPENING TO ME--" The Water tank fell over Electro along with the whole tower itself. Luckily no cars had been there or else it would've been a crude scene.
Spider-Man began running and leapt onto a building, "3, 2, 1" A huge amount of Water shot out of the water tank with electricity surrounding it. Spider-Man shielded his eyes as the electric water was probably gonna end up in his lenses.
Within a matter of seconds, The city got all it's electricity back, the buildings began illuminating light again, people exited the buildings they were held up in and watched as the city became bright and colorful again. Spider-Man looked at the street full of water and debris, "No doubt Jameson is gonna be breathin down my neck for this one!" Spider-Man also grabbed his camera that he had left on a street light, "Speaking of which if he doesn't like these pictures I'm gonna personally be baffled."
Spider-Man looked to the street and saw Electro, or rather Zek Skytroller laying on the ground, "Should probably take care of that too!" He leapt off the building and walked over to Zek. Kneeling down he felt the pulse on his neck, "Well he's still alive so that's probably a relief." But he webbed His hands and feet to the ground, "But he no doubt has to pay for the crimes he's committed!"
Spider-Man glanced away from Zek and fired a webline, swinging away from the scene and back home, Spider-Man finally defeated Electro!
Author's Note
Okay so that's the ninth chapter of FSTSS, in this chapter I create a different final fight between Electro and Spider-Man, it was kind of tough to figure out how I could play this one out but I kinda though, hey fighting across the city might work.
So In this chapter, Flash and Sunset kinda have a little talk like they used to when they were friends, but suddenly the power goes off and Flash is left wondering what happened. Thinking that maybe he could go to the city he discovers that the whole city has no power and it leads him to believe Electro is behind it.
Then I make Flash suspect that all the times he lost his powers Electro had something to do with it, like a Frankenstein effect or something so he tries to be much more cautious of the electricity though he still manages to get hit by a few.
And the fight ends with Spider-Man doing something really dangerous and risky but for the greater good by pulling down the water tower, I did this so A. He could defeat Electro and B. SO he could have a moment of strength like he did in the last one because in all honesty Spider-Man is not a perfect hero and has to think on the fly which is what makes him a great character.
Tell me what you think about this and the original in the comments, and hey maybe even leave like I don't know 🤷.
Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
It was a sunny afternoon in Canterlot City, time had passed since Flash and Electro Squared up against each other, during that time Flash didn't encounter any new foe or huge threat to the city. In retrospect it was the month of June, specifically the last day of June.
Summer vacation was around the corner, a lot of families had already planned their summer vacations while others are still looking for vacation spots to enjoy their brief vacation before going back to work.
For Flash it was two things, going to Tokyo and Graduation.
He sat outside, specifically on the front porch of his house, which would be the last time he'd ever sit on it. His mother who'd finally gotten out of the hospital revealed to Flash that for months she'd been trying to sell the place and had finally sold it, reassuring her son that she would be moving into her boyfriends place. It was really sad to hear, he'd built up so many memories from this house and couldn't believe that he was leaving all of it behind.
Flash wanted to feel good about today. As he looked into the clear blue sky he just wanted to rejoice about leaving High School and not having to go through anymore of those crummy experiences he'd been through for four years and that tomorrow he would finally be free from ever having to go back to Canterlot High!
But as he sat there and realized that everything had gone by so fast, the whole year had just gone past him, he couldn't feel as happy as he'd hoped. All of this because his Father wouldn't be there to see it and even though months had gone by, Flash knew that this was the one thing hid Father had wanted to see, but he couldn't, and it was all his fault that he couldn't.
Not to mention the huge hole that still plagued his family, he'd thought about other parts of the year, he found out Micro Chips was The Green Goblin and finding out he left, when his life had just become nothing but a Spider-Man centric one, when Sunset Shimmer broke up with him and the probably the most significant of them all, when he quit his bit as Spider-Man.
Though all of those problems had healed themselves, Micro Chips had come back to Canterlot only a few weeks ago, Sunset and Flash began talking again and eventually became good friends, and he took up the mantle of Spider-Man once again but still he was still bothered by some of those things but most of all he was just still bothered by the fact that his dad was not here.
His mother was leaning on the doorway crossing her arms, she had noticed Flash had been sitting there for an awful long time and using her motherly skills, she could smell sadness and stress in Flash's system, she was like bloodhound for these types of things.
"What's wrong?"
Flash glanced up from the ground, his eyes widening, Wow my Spider-Sense does not work when I need it to the most, "Hmm? Oh it's nothing I just-- wanted to sit out here for the last time."
She chuckled, "Flash if you honestly think that I can't see when my son is looking down in the dumps you need to go to an eye doctor immediately!" She walked up to him and sat beside him, putting her hand on his shoulder she repeated her question, "What's wrong?"
Flash glanced away from his mother and took a deep sigh, "I guess.... I'm not sure if Grad is gonna be as exciting for me if dad's not there."
His mother put he hand on her chin and stroked it a bit, thinking of something she took a deep breath "Do you remember when you're grandma died? Y'know your Dad's mom."
Flash glanced back at his mom, looking a bit confused he nodded, "Wasn't I like three or four when she passed away?"
"Well yeah" She took a deep breath, "Well that was probably the most hardest time for your father. When she died he was still in college, he was a mess, he was almost mute, it was heartbreaking for me to watch, every night he'd always stare at the window not even saying a word, I always sat there with him, resting my self on his back."
"Then how'd he cope?"
"He learned to value all the memories he had with his parents, he tried to find ways to be positive again and be the man that she would've wanted from him and he knew that his mother had always loved him no matter how many fights they'd been through, he'd always look to her for support." She glanced at her son, "Kind of what you learned to do." Flash glance to the ground, he felt a lump feeling in his throat be he found himself smiling a little, "Flash, I still see so much of him in you and I know it's been hard for you this year." She got to her feet and was about to walk off, "But always remember, he'll be with you."
Flash got up to his feet as fast as possible and hugged his mother, clinging to her as fast as possible, he eventually did find himself crying on her shoulder and the only words he could say were, "Thank you...." She smiled, embracing her son she let him cry on her shoulder as long as he needed to, not even caring that they were in public.
It was an outdoor ceremony for Canterlot High's Graduation was taking place at the Amphitheater, or as some remember it, the venue for the final round of Canterlot High's Battle of the bands, There were two sections of seats, one on each side. One was where the parents , family members and even students who weren't graduating sat at, and the other was where the Graduating Class sat at.
Flash was somewhere between the middle and just a quarter away from the last row of seats wearing a graduation gown and hat, the seats were organized in alphabetical order. Flash did take his mothers advice to heart and tried to stay positive, even if the year had been rough to him and he managed to get a smirk out of himself.
Their Principal, Celestia, walked onto the stage and stood behind the podium, adjusting her microphone she began to speak, greeting everyone who had shown up, "Greetings all Canterlot Student Parents, Staff and even our wonderful Students, today we are all gathered here to recognize our Graduating Class of 2019, WOOO!" Everyone all gave a round of applause to the Graduates, while the graduates themselves kind of snickered at their principal and even left Flash wondering, Did she drink or something? I've never seen her this excited before.
Principal Celestia continued, "A graduation ceremony is always such a special occasion and also very emotional for the graduates and teachers, even me and my sister Luna. This is a time where we recognize all our hard work and dedication to our studies and school events we have participated in and reflect on the roads we have been on together, whether that would be Camp Everfree, The Battle of the Bands even The Fall Formal." Everyone around Sunset Shimmer gave her a smug smirk, teasing her a little while she just blushed nervously and made out a sheepish smile, due to her 'involvement' in the events that had ensued.
"For many students, it was a nervous journey into a new setting, adjusting to time tables, making new friend and meeting new people, and encountering trials along the way. But these group of students showed through their perseverance and determination that they were able to walk that road and were ready for anything that came their way."
"But how about we take a step back, to talk about the beginning and where it all started."
Principal Celestia turned to the Graduates, "When I'd met all you all, you all had different personalities and tendencies while still being nervous ninth graders. Over time The CHS family got to know each and every one of you even better and
changing a lot of people's lives for the better."
"Each and everyday we always faced new problems to solve and our goals to reach and accomplish and the end result was creating memorable moments, some you could even say are magical." The Graduates all laughed as they knew what Principal Celestia was implying.
"Never the less, we are proud to have watched you all succeed and are very joyous to with all of you go out into the world, and from everyone at CHS we'd like to say a big goodbye to our parting Graduates." Everybody gave another round of applause, "Now let me hand out everyone's diploma!"
She began calling out everyone's names, not butchering a single one, giving everybody handshakes as they walked onto the stage, it was only moments before Flash's name was finally called, "Flash Sentry!" Everybody gave a round of applause for Flash as He got out of his seat and slowly made his way through the crowd of students sitting on their chairs, and at that moment Flash began narrating in his head, just to himself.
You know what. This year has really been a bit of a frenzy, I've been through so many ups and downs for the better and for the worse! But.... Even so Spider-Man has been there with me through all my ups and downs, I'm not sure how long I'll be doing this thing for, but I do know one thing for sure, I wanna go out there and really be somebody!
Flash walked onto the stage and shook the Principal's hand, he almost looked as tall as her, "Congratulations Mr. Sentry!" He walked off and looked into the crowd, he could see his mother holding her phone and recording every moment of him on the stage, he could see his friend Micro Chips sitting in the crowd with his parents but even though he wasn't there, he could almost see his Dad, sitting right next to his mother, crossing his arms and smirking, almost hearing him say, Hey! You did good kid, and it's about damn time! You got outta high school eh?
Flash chuckled a little before walking off the stage, "Yeah sure pops!"
Everyone had gotten their awards and diplomas and it was now time for the final part of the ceremony, the Valedictorian speech, "Now this years Valedictorian is the embodiment of a headstrong, yet very hardworking person who strived to be a better person, she too had a rough beginning in high school but slowly pulled herself together and steered into a positive direction, ladies and gentlemen, May I please introduce this years Valedictorian, Sunset Shimmer!"
Everyone in, especially Sunset's friends all gave her the biggest round of applause they could, Sunset blushed a little but mostly laughed at Pinkie Pie, who was going crazy in her seat, "YESSSSSSSSSSSS SUNSET SHIMMER! WOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Sunset got onto the podium, she marveled at everyone who attended, she gulped nervously before speaking into the microphone with an upbeat attitude.
"Well guys we made it!" She laughed a little making everyone else also chuckle and giggle, "I-I have no idea what to say, well I do but you know I'm just so baffled by, EVERYONE HERE!" She made the whole crowd laugh as she was also trying to be a bit humorous n her speech.
"So we, the graduates have to give the biggest shoutout to the teachers who gave us the best education that we could've asked for, they were there for us at every step of the way. But... we also have to be thankful to everyone in our lives who shaped us to be the people we are, we have to thank our Parents, who've always been there for us and have always helped us steer into the right direction!"
"We finally have to be thankful we have each other, for all the fun lasting relationships we've made over the years, these relationships could really change a person, believe me I know!"
"So now the question is, what's next? What do we do now?..." Sunset took a quick pause, it was as if she was trying to think of an answer, "Well... that's for you to decide!"
Everyone clapped as Sunset finished her speech.
The Ceremony ended, a few more awards were passed out recognizing leadership, athletics and academics. Flash caught up with his mother and hugged her, "Oh Flash I'm so proud of you! Oh I can't wait to tell your Aunt Thunderstar!"
Flash chuckled, "Yeah! Thanks Mom! I couldn't have done it without you!
His Mother looked at his warm smiling face, "Oh I wish Lucas was here to see this! He'd be so proud!"
"It's like you said, He's always with me and He'll always be with me!"
His mother was filled with so many emotions, she wanted to burst out crying in joy and pride like some of the other mom's, she was so proud of how far Flash had come in his life, "Well.... Touché!" She was at a lost for words but was still so proud of her son, and she could imagine her beloved husband would've been.
She took a picture of Flash whom gotten the highest level of honours and science awards, he was also achieved a scholarship to go to his dream school Equestria State, where he'd be attending classes with Soarin and his new found friend Curly Winds. But Sandalwood would be ending up going to Canterlot University to be with Fluttershy, one of the best schools in the city.
"Say cheese!" His mother got out her phone.
"Cheese!" She took the picture and walked to Flash.
Then Flash was approached by Micro Chips and his family, his father Circuit Breaker and his new step mother, Klaudia Banks, a tall blonde haired woman who was rather ravishing. "Look who finally graduates!" Micro Chips teased.
Flash turned around, chuckling as he rolled his eyes, "Hey come on cut me some slack! Were not all like you and have the luxury to graduate early!" Flash and Micro Chips clasped their hands together and hugged, "Speaking of which how's the UK been handling ya?"
"You know the usual! A bit rainy but it's all good!"
Then Micro Chips father, Circuit Breaker approached him, putting his hand on his shoulder, "Congratulations Mr. Sentry! The Science Award is most impressive. Now uh why don't you and I have a little talk eh?" They both began to stroll, this gave Flash a bit of deja vu, the last time they did this he was dressed as Spider-Man and they were talking about the fate of Micro Chips after discovering he was the Goblin.
"Now I know times have been tough on you and I know it's been hard to overcome the adversities you've been faced with." He patted Flash on the shoulder, "But if you ever do need anything, I'm just a call away." He handed him a paper with his phone number, Flash took the number and gazed at it a bit.
"Thanks Mr. Breaker, I really do mean it."
He smiled and they continued to stroll, "You know I knew your father, we'd met mmmm, at around 1997 or 98', he was a really positive guy, we met at a dinner party held by another good friend of mines, Professor Discord. We talked about chemistry and physics for a while and well he was a very interesting character."
Flash chuckled a little, "Yeah you know he did get that a lot, but people still managed to like him."
They made their way towards a sidewalk, where there was a car parked, specifically a black Camaro , it had a huge emblem on the hood, the emblem had a shield and a lighting bolt across it along with two lightning bolts running across each side of the car.
"And well my son had an idea before we came back to Canterlot, 'Why not help Flash commemorate his father and also get a gift for his friend'", He gestured his hand towards the car and Flash's eyes widened.
"No", he shook his head, "No Mr. Breaker I-I can't accept this. I shouldn't be taking advantage of people who are wealthy"
"It's not an offer Mr. Sentry it's a gift!" He insisted.
"But--"
"Believe me, it took me ages to convince your mother and besides Micro Chips really, really wanted to give you this after everything you'd been through." Without letting Flash think he tossed the keys to the coupe and walked off, "Take a little test drive if you want."
Flash was in disbelief, he'd been given his first car by his best friends dad, he looked at the ride, it was a lot newer than his dad's car was but at the same time it had the same black paint that his dad's car had. Flash gulped, hesitantly walking to the car and unlocking it so he could make his way inside.
He opened the door, the interior had tan leather seats with backrow seating, Flash gasped in astonishment, he got inside the car and closed the door. He sat in the drivers seat and began looking at the car in even more astonishment, it was a weird feeling, like owning a kid or a pet, wanting to protect it at all costs, but he kinda liked it.
Flash put both of his hands on the steering wheel, it felt really nice to hold and a bit cold but still nice. Flash turned his head to the auto push ignition button. Flash gazed at his hand for a moment, with some hesitation he pressed the button.
The Engine Roared! The on board computer's screen lit open. Flash started to smirk, gaining some new found confidence, hearing the engine start up was kind of awesome to him. "Maybe I should take a test drive." Flash pushed the gear stick forward and put his foot on the petal.
Soon enough Flash was driving, he did learn how to drive in eleventh grade but he hadn't actually driven a car yet, but even so he was adapting to everything with ease. "WOOOOOOO!" He screamed deliriously
Circuit Breaker made his way back to Micro Chips, his step wife and Flash's mom, "So do you think he liked it?" His mother asked.
At that moment they were able to hear Flash's delirious scream making all of them smirk, "I think he's having fun with it, yeah!" Klaudia pointed out, her voice had a very calming English accent, "So shall we wait for him?"
"He'll be back in a couple of seconds." Micro Chips explained, he began counting in his head, from 10.
Flash drove around the block before hitting the brakes and stopping at the exact same spot he left. Soarin startled to almost be hit by a car but then realized Flash was in it, he smiled smugly, "Hey Sentry! Nice wheels."
Flash was panting, his face in complete shock with his mouth hanging out, but soon it began to smirk and the only words he could utter was, "Awesome!...."
This marked another end to a chapter in Flash's life, finally getting out of high school was both a relief and a little bit of a disappointment, but nevertheless he did find himself excited for what's yet to come.

Author's Note
Okay so this is the tenth chapter of FSTSS, otherwise known as the true last chapter before the epilogue XD.
So not really much to say besides Flash getting adivce from his mother, a whole speech and Flash getting his iconci Camaro.
The speeches are what really what was hard about this chapter as I'm still in high school and I'm definetly not been to a high school graduation, as a matter of fact any graduation at all so I kinda had to look at a lot of examples of what certain people would say.
So it's really similiar to the first one except one scene is removed and obviously Flash doesnt get his car from a time wizrad. XD
Tell me what you think about this and the original in the comments and hey maybe even leave a like I don't know 🤷

Epilogue: Meeting the boyfriend/Tokyo should be fun
It was only a few days into summer, Flash, Sandalwood and Micro Chips hung out like old times, Flash and his mother somewhat went their separate ways as he moved into an Apartment downtown to be near Equestria state while she moved into a nice townhome with her boyfriend, whom Flash was finally gonna meet.
Flash, though he had his own personal transportation took a bus to the townhome so he could avoid paying a fee for parking and so him and his mother could bond for a bit while they were on the road. Flash got out of the bus and stood right at the sidewalk and stared at the town home. He wore a black bomber jacket, black pants, he wore a snapback on his head and held a duffle bag in his hand.
It looked really nice, it had two stories, had brown bricks at the exterior and had a grey a nice triangular roof, "Gee whoever this guy is he has good tastes in housing." Flash walked up the steps of the home and made sure not to knock on the wrong door.
"Okay this should be number 567" Flash looked up and it indeed said that three digit number, Flash took a deep breath, "Okay Sentry this is it, the big reveal!" He knocked on the door and waited for a while.
Then the door opened and there stood a man with his back slumped, he had black hair and a few chin whiskers, Flash's eyes widened, he knew the man, "MR. CRANKY DOODLE?!"
"Hey kid! Aw Man I haven't seen you since Graduation, how's life been eh?"
Flash shook his head and smacked the side of it, "Wait, wait, wait, wait , wait, wait.... Wait. You're dating my mother?"
"Yup!" He replied.
"You're being a hundred percent."
"That is affirmative." He nodded.
"But wait--- what?! When?! How?!" Flash was beyond confused at this point
"Well it all started a few..... weeks ago, maybe about two months ago, somewhere around that." We had met in book reading club and--"
Flash interrupted, "Wait, you attend the 'Charlotte Nancy series of books' Book reading club?"
"Look kid there's a lot I don't tell my students okay! Anyways we both had an assignment together and well. from there we began to talk and talk, until we didn't even talk about the book anymore and just talked about life in general, she and I have a lot in common, ya know? So I may have fell in love with her and well I asked her out an.--"
"Okay, OKAY! I get the picture from their, it took off from there and you two went on regular dates until she eventually sold our house and moved in with you. Is that about right?!" Flash had seen that love story too many times.
"Wow, you're sharp kid." Cranky Doodle complimented.
"Well I like to think of myself as a smart fella, anyways where's my mother?"
"Oh she's upstairs taking a shower, uh hey why don't we have some coffee and maybe some dinner or something huh?" Cranky Doodle suggested.
Flash chuckled, "I'd love to sir but I kinda on crunch time right now. Ya see I'm going to Japan in a few hours and I have to get to the airport on time."
"Ohhh... Yeah Sabrina told me that... was it this Sunday, I thought it was the next Sunday."
Flash shrugged, "Well I'm kinda gonna be there for half the summer so yeah, but I guess I'll come in and wait."
"Well that's fantastic!" Cranky Doodle and Flash both entered the home, closing the door behind them. Flash marveled at the home, it was a really nice home, everything well taken care of, things organized, the kitchen was way more modern then the one back at his old home but it didn't phase him even the living room was a bit bigger.
"So why are you going to Tokyo?" Mr. Cranky Doodle pondered.
"Well I'm going to go see some family I haven't seen in a while, ya know I thought it be nice to go see them."
That prompted Mr. Cranky Doodle to ask another question, "Why isn't your mother going with you then?"
Flash shrugged, "It's not that she doesn't want to... but it's like she lost the adventurous side of her after dad died, she's kind of become much more contempt here in Canterlot, so I asked to go alone if she didn't want to, obviously she said no on the spot but after weeks of convincing she finally changed her mind."
"Well if you are going alone you might need this." Cranky Doodle pulled out his wallet and handed Flash $500, you can convert it to Yen when you get their but for now you should probably take this."
Flash shot his hand up, "What, I can't take you money! This is your's I can't strip you of it."
"It's not an offer it's a gift!" There it was again, that same phrase that was used against him at Grad by Circuit Breaker.
"But--"
"I'll give you detention once you come back!" Flash rolled his eyes, he knew well enough at that point there was no arguing with Canterlot's famous Math Teahcer.
"Okay, OKAY! I'll take your money." Flash took the cash, "But If I don't put it to good use I'm giving it back."
Soon, Flash's mother came rushing down the stairs holding gifts for her sister's family, "Flash! Oh thank goodness you're here on time, I got some gifts for Thunderstar, make sure to give them every single one! And Make sure to call me when you get there as soon as possible!" She was in her mama bear mode, otherwise known was her stressing her head off, this would be the first time Flash would be really far from her and she was making sure he was well prepared. "well what are you waiting for, The Kings to win a championship?! Let's GO!" She rushed everyone out the door including Mr. Cranky Doodle who was sipping some tea.
"Make sure to call me as soon as you get there okay!" His mother pleaded, still in mama bear mode.
"I know mom, you told me a thousand times at this point."
Sabrina was heating up as she could sense some arrogance and some bad attitude from her child, so she let him, "LISTEN HERE FLASH! I'M TRYING TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BEST EXPIRENCE ON YOUR OWN, YOU WILL REPSECT ME AND MY EVERY CALL RIGHT NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND!" That scared Flash and Mr. Cranky Doodle. Flash's eyes widened, he felt a bit displaced, not saying, not daring to utter anything he slowly nodded his head and gulped.
His mother smiled and closed her eyes, "Have a good trip!" Flash got out of the car and took his duffle bag, he kissed his mother on the cheek and headed for the gate entrance.
He looked at the photo that was taken when he'd last went to Tokyo, it was with him, his mother, father and his two Aunts in Tokyo, along with his two cousins both female.
"Yeah... Tokyo should be fun!"

Flash Sentry The Spectacular Spider-Man Issue #2: Electro
Oh Give me a BREAK! THERE'S ANOTHER ONE?!/ Power Failure?!
The sun soon began to rise, the rainstorm was over and it was finally beginning to look like spring. Though the ground was a bit damp from the violent storm that took place overnight everything else seemed to look fine and beautiful, the sky was a mixture orange with the pinkish blue clouds moving along. The birds were singing on tree branches.
Flash’s alarm clock began to go off, waking up the very exhausted teenager, “Aww man!” he moaned, “I have to stop doing this late night or else I’m not gonna function right in the morning.” Flash slowly got up from his bed, crackling his eyes and sitting up. Flash was still very exhausted from the night before, he didn’t remember what time he fell asleep but he did realize one thing, that he forgot to change out of his Spider-Man costume. But, what Flash did remember though was his little temper-tantrum, when he had snapped, this made him frown. He wasn’t exactly so peachy to remember that and wanted to block it from his mind.
"Okay Sentry! It's a new day, everything will go just fine!" He threw the Green Jacket he wore over his costume off of him along with that red hoodie which he also wore on top of his costume and eventually his whole costume. He ran to his dresser to see what he had. It was mostly a bunch of long sleeves, rummaging through the drawer, he pulled out a Blue long sleeve shirt. He put it over his costume before flipping backwards across his room. He went to his dresser to see what else he had, he took out a pair of black denim jeans and put on some shoes. Then he looked down at the floor in which he threw his whole Spider-Man ensemble. He was contemplating whether or not Spider-Man would even be needed for today.
"It's fine Flash! Spider-Man probably needs a break!" As he put his bag over his shoulder he glanced back at is again, "No-No! Flash it's one day, what are the chances you'll even need it?" He went to go to the door, but then thought about possible scenarios like things possibly going haywire or if his mom finds the costume. "Ugh Dammit" He facepalmed him self, he couldn't even leave the costume at home without feeling paranoid. He walked over to the pile of clothing and stuffed it in his bag.

Flash walked to his school, Canterlot High, the school which he'd been going to for all of his high school career. He headed towards the front gate to the school, where he was met by one of his good friends, Soarin. "Hey Sentry!"
Flash smiled, at least the day was starting off okay, "Hey!"
The two started walking inside and walked into the busy hallways of Canterlot High, "So.. how's the project coming along?" The two were building a windmill generator for their science class.
"It's coming along just fine! I mean I might need a few more things!" Flash shrugged, the two were both heading to the same class, Geography. As Flash and Soarin were walking and conversating, something caught Flash's eyes, it was his girlfriend Sunset Shimmer. They've had a rocky relationship so far and they had gotten into a fight earlier in the week and had not been talking to each other.
Sunset! oh man I have to make it up her somehow! Flash turned to Soarin, "Uh hey you head to class, I uh gotta take care of something!" Soarin looked confused. He glanced over Flash's shoulder and also saw Sunset, she was at her locker getting out a few things.
So understandably he shrugged, "Uh Okay?" He headed off to class and left Flash there who focused his gaze on Sunset.
Flash started approaching the girl, "Sunset!" He called out her name in the distance causing her to look away at her locker and glance at the oncoming student. Flash stopped right in front of Sunset and began to speak, "Look about Sunday night! I didn't mean to miss that date I--" She put her hand right in front of his face signalling him to stop talking.
She smiled, something which was kind of odd to Flash, he expected her to still be mad at him, "I know!" she said, "But I also know how you can make it up to me!" Flash's eyes lit up, it was like all the bad luck from yesterday had finally washed off.
"How?" He replied almost a bit too quickly but also ecstatically.
"Tonight! At the Rainbooms concert, at the performing arts Center." She reached into her pocket and handed Flash a ticket, "Don't be late, Please!" She momentarily touched his cheek before kissing him on the cheek and walking off. Flash smiled, he felt like the world had finally stopped cursing him with horrible luck, things were looking up for the blue haired teenager. Well almost everything.
Flash's eyes widened after he heard the bell ring, "Aw man! I'm gonna be late!"
***
It was 8:00, it was a very chilly night, a wind blowing through the air, a few puddles still on the ground, glistening in the moonlight. Most people would be either asleep or working at this time but not Flash, he was over ecstatic, something he hadn't felt in days, weeks, months even.
It was almost the same feeling Sunset had. She was in her dressing room also feeling ecstatic, not just because of how many people had shown up for the whole gig, but because she was expecting a very special person, that person was Flash Sentry. She really wanted him to be there, to show him how far their band had come. After all he was one of the few people ever that encouraged Sunset about making her dream into a reality and not leaving it in the dust.
Rarity noticed Sunset acting a bit perky in her chair, "You seem overly ecstatic tonight!"
Sunset giggled a little, "I know! This really exciting!"
Rarity chuckled at Sunset's excitement, "Don't overexcite yourself darling! We have to keep your composure if we want this event to go perfectly!"
As they were chitchatting, a stage worker popped his head behind the dressing room door, "Hey girls, 5 minutes, chop-chop!"
Meanwhile outside the arts center, people were making their way inside and trying to get to their seats. A lot of the people coming to the center were from Canterlot High while others were from Crystal Prep and a lot of civilians from the city. In retrospect there were a lot of people.
Flash was in his mom's car, they were driving up next to the curb. "Okay I'll be back to pick you up! Just have fun with your friends and stay safe!" said Sabrina, Flash's mother.
"Okay Mom!" Flash got out of the car and closed the door waiving to his mother. He turned around and marveled at the area, there were still so many people showing up to the event. Wow! At this rate there probably gonna have a billion record deals!
But Flash was interrupted, he heard a momentary ring and then everything around him went quiet, he was only able to hear drifting, like a vehicle drifting on the road, Flash gasped "My Spider-Senses are tingling!" He turned around and saw a motorcycle barrelling right towards him! Flash jumped out of the way, landing on the grass as the motorcycle zoomed right past him. The motorcyclist had a bag slumped onto one shoulder and he was shooting a sub-machine gun in the other hand.
Flash could almost hear his dad speak to him, Well compadre! What are you waiting for? Go get em'! Flash let out a sigh, everything had been going so perfectly up until now. "Looks like this where the fun begins!" Flash glanced back over at the building in which he was supposed to enter, He didn't want to let Sunset down, she really wanted him to be there. "Let's hope I make it back in time!" Flash started walking off, the walks slowly became jogs which slowly became sprints! He was sprinting towards an alleyway!
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist who had drove past Flash was glancing behind him and shooting as much police cruisers as possible. "Shit! I swear on my life these guys keep coming and coming!" But it appeared though the Robbing Motorcyclist wasn't alone.
This was because a radio transmitted voice in his helmet with a strong Sicilian accent replied to the statement he made## "Yeah, Yeah! Jus stick to the plan and we won't end up as Big Man's human fucking Risotto capcihe? " ## Big Man was a crime boss in Canterlot City, he is rumored to be in control the waterfront operations in Canterlot, most notably the Canterlot Bordeaux.
The motorcyclist who had somewhat of the same Sicilian accent spoke, "Okay I--" He took an abrupt pause to shoot an officer behind him, missing however, "How far's the escape copter at huh?"
## "Just keep following the waypoint and you'll be on your marry damn way!" ##
But in pursuit was Spider-Man, the web slinging vigilante of Canterlot City! "Man! This guy can do two things! Shooting cops and driving a motorcycle!? Hell I can't do any of that." Spider-Man was a bit impressed but stayed focused on stopping the crazed driver not wanting to miss out on Sunset's huge show, "Wait!? Remember Sentry! Sunset's concert is tonight, don't blow it!"
Spider-Man fired another webline and angled himself downwards. People in the streets watched as Spider-Man pursued a criminal in the streets of the city. Phones were out, people cheering while other's were less than amused to see the web-slinger. Nevertheless it was a very exciting scene to witness.
The Motorcyclist hadn't even notice Spider-Man if it wasn't for one of his mirrors. As he was driving he glanced at his mirror, "What the he--", before he could even utter such mild language! Spider-Man caught the lunatic driver, grabbing the back of his collar to his jacket, suspending him from his motorcycle and carrying him up into the air.
"Hello there, welcome to Air-Spidey, where first class is our speciality!" Spider-Man joked, trying to lighten the mood.
"WHAT THE-- LET GO OF ME YOU WALL CRAWLING ARACHNAID!" Even though the Motorcyclist snarled at Spider-Man he did manage to do one thing that no other criminal is ever able to do, distinguish Spiders from bugs.
"Hey!" Spider-Man shot out in an almost congratulating tone, "You know you're the first person to actually acknowledge Spiders being arachnids, dude that's kind of amazi--"
Spider-Man trailed off as the Motorcyclist pointed a Uzi at him, "LET ME GO!" The Motorcycilst, like any one of Canterlot's criminals were not so fond of Spider-Man's jokes and demanded to be put down.
Spider-Man merely sighed, And it was going so well to, oh well...Spider-Man webbed up the gun, seizing it from the motorcyclist grasp. Then Spider-Man noticed the bag slinked onto his shoulder, now usually he wouldn't care about a criminal's possessions but the bag caught his eye for one reason, it was a CircoVision bag, What's a bum like this doing with one of these? Truth be told, Flash had been growing more and more interested in the company after his battle with The Green Goblin, after he found out his best friend Micro Chips had stolen stuff from the company and create that alter alias that Spider-Man had gone up against.
"Well might as well finish this before I lose track of time" The hand which was grasping the motorcyclist's collar made it's way to the handle of the company branded, CircoVison backpack. Spider-Man yanked the bag off of the criminal and slunk it over his shoulder. "Well looks like we are arriving to your destination, I hope you had an amazing flight!" Spider-Man joked, "We also do not ever want to see your face return again!" Spider-Man angled himself downward towards the ground. He tossed the man mid air, not too high as they were about to land onto the concrete.
Spider-Man webbed a soft landing for the motorcyclist but as soon as he landed on the webbing, Spider-Man webbed him up, encasing him in a cocoon on webbing! "IF YOU WERE EVEN A REAL AIRLINE I'D RATE YOU -10 OUT OF 10 YA FU--" Spider-Man shot a web in his mouth and opened the bag, not really thinking much.
"Yeah, Yeah I get that a lot! Jeez what would you even want from a company like CircoVision anyway?" Spider-Man pondered. He unzipped the bag and went through the contents inside. He couldn't tell what it was, it looked really high tech but even so Spider-Man couldn't figure out what they were, and he was supposed to be a science major of all things. "What in the worl-- MY SPIDER-SENSES!"
But before he could react, Spider-Man was struck by the most painful thing in that he could've possibly ever felt, it was like Goblin's glove discharge but just x1000 more painful, maybe even more! "ARRGH!" Spider-Man groaned in pain.
"I'll be taking this thank you very much!" It was Zek, he had a grin on his face, the bag was intended for him and those items that Spider-Man had been looking at were devices that could help Zek store more and more electricity.
Spider-Man staggered to his feet after he felt the stinging pain leave his body, putting his hoodie over his head Spider-Man looked at Electro and got himself into an offensive stance, "Who are you?" He demanded, "And what is all that?"
Electro had a twisted grin, it gave Spider-Man some Green Goblin vibes, "Call me... ELECTRO!"
Rainbow Dash and her band the Rainbooms, all colorfully dressed in unique dresses all huddled together, "Okay we are gonna go out there and be AWESOME!" Everyone cheered in unison having a bit of a pep rally moment. They all headed to the stage and their instruments.
Sunset was probably the most excited out of all, her adrenaline was off the roof, maybe it was the crowd and how roaring loud they were, it was almost unreal, in the bands whole career they had never seen or heard anything like it. Or maybe it was just the sheer excitement. Or maybe she was just excited to see Flash their, in her mind she considered him a 'Special Guest'
They all got into stage position, Pinkie Pie sat on the seat, that stood right behind the drum set Rarity picked up her electric keyboard and put the sash of it over her shoulder, Twilight Sparkle took the only Microphone which was not on a stand and made sure it worked.
"Ahem Testing 1,2 ? They all giggled a little at that.
Fluttershy picked up a tambourine off the ground, and finally Sunset Shimmer, Applejack and Rainbow Dash all got their guitars and plugged them into amp's.
"Alright everyone behind me!" Rainbow Dash commanded, this was her band after all. They all stood in a triangular formation behind Rainbow Dash, with the exception of Pinkie Pie who was behind the drums. The curtains began to rise slowly, this was it! This was their big night!
Meanwhile, back at the city, Spider-Man lunged towards Electro, sprinting at him. He then began to dive towards him, extending his leg in an attempt to kick him. But as soon as he got as close as few millimetres to Electro, he sent back being electrocuted and crashing into a wall and falling onto his face.
"What?" Spider-Man was confused, he didn't even touch him and yet he was sent back. Spider-Man, once again staggered to his feet and tried again. He shot a strand of web which wrapped around a street light pole. Spider-Man swung towards Electro, outstretching both his feet and made another attempt to kick him.
No use! He was sent back flying into another wall, Impossible! I can't hit him and I can't even touch him! But how?! Spider-Man was baffled, he was trying to wrap his head around how he was being electrocuted by Electro without him even doing an action.
"So are ya gonna keep playing chicken?" Electro sneered, "Because I have a pretty schedule you know!" He laughed a little, usually Zek was more headstrong and arrogant but since he's barley lifting a finger he's found the whole situation a bit hilarious.
Spider-Man rose up and got back to his feet and pointed at Electro, "You know by the sounds of that I'm starting to get the implications that you're a bit of a nutjob!"
Zek smirked a bit more, chuckling a little he just shrugged, "Okay then your choice!" and with that sneer Electro began to charge up energy without Spider-Man noticing. Spider-Man on the other hand was trying to figure out a certain game plan, something he could do to actually damage Electro.
But then, without any hesitance, Electro rushed towards Spider-Man. Spider-Man whom just snapped back into reality attempted to punch Electro straight in the stomach, thinking he had an upper hand. But that would end up being the biggest mistake Spider-Man made.
Electro exerted violent volts of electricity which electrocuted Spider-Man even more. But this was even more painful than before, it was agonizing for Spider-Man, it was unbearable!
"AHRRRRGH!" This was a whole new type of pain in Spider-Man, he didn't know how much longer it would last and cried out in agony! Electro finally let up, using all the volts he stored up within him. Spider-Man flew back, he was unconscious and crashed through a wall, the impact making a huge hole into the building he crashed into.
Electro began to laugh, "HAHA! YES! Finally, with that the city is up for grabs!" He Glanced at Spider-Man just one last time, and with a wicked grin he scowled, "Spider-Man.... No more!" He took the CircoVison Bag and flew off leaving Spider-Man laying there.
Only a few minutes later Spider-Man finally gained back his consciousness, "Gnn!" Spider-Man moaned, he put his hand on the top of his head still feeling stinging pain, "What happened?...." Spider-Man felt weak, but he gained enough might to slowly get to his feet, "Wait... what time is it?" Spider-Man looked up onto a clock that was being displayed on a building. His eyes widened and he gasped, "SUNSET'S SHOW!" Spider-Man shot a webline and rushed back to the Performing art center.
Flash changed out of his costume, the stinging pain had gone away but he was still freaking out, he forgot about Sunset's big show, the one he promised he would see! He ran towards the gate, "Come on, Come on please!".
Bur unfortunately he was too late. Everyone was leaving the show, "No...NO!" Flash missed it, he'd made a promise to Sunset and he failed to deliver on it, "Maybe if I call her!..." Flash didn't really know what set of actions he could take so he just went with the obvious. He dialed the number and gulped nervously, he could only imagine what she was going to say.
The phone picked up but before Flash could say a word, Sunset did a very formal greeting to him, "YOU HAVE SOME NERVE CALLING ME FLASH SENTRY!" She sounded like she was sobbing but angry at the same time, this was more than understandable of course.
"Sunset wait if you just le--"
"NO!" She interjected, "THERE'S NOTHING YOU COULD EVER SAY THAT WOULD MAKE ME EVEN WAN'T TO TALK TO YOU! WERE DONE, OVER, BROKEN UP! I NEVER WAN'T TO SEE YOU AGAIN"
Flash's eyes widened, he'd dread those words, "Sunset wai--" She hung up. Flash was speechless to what'd just happen. He lost Sunset forever, she broke up with him after 5 whole months. Flash had messed up so bad and now, now he's gonna be remembered for the rest of his life as the guy who shunned Sunset on a date, "What've I done?"
Flash stood there, trying to collect his thoughts for a moment, but then he heard Police sirens squealing, it completely broke his focus on what'd just happen and instead made him focus on what was about to happen, "Maybe some web-slinging will help clear my mind along the way!"
Flash ran in another direction, somewhere where he couldn't be spotted. He ran behind a wall where no one was at, and only a few seconds later Spider-Man swung into action. He fired a webline and began to swing across the city again!
He found the police cars who were heading towards the bank, "Looks like there's been a robbery here!" Spider-Man attempted to fire another webline. But nothing shot out of his wrists. "What the he-AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Spider-Man couldn't shoot any webs and he was plummeting towards the ground.
'AHHHHHHHHHHHHH--" Spider-Man landed onto the top of a building, crashing hard but not feeling relatively hurt. Spider-Man got up and took his mask off, "What happened?" He looked at his hand and again attempted to shoot some webbing. Still nothing. He then tried with his left hand, it was no use.
"My Powers?! They're gone?" Spider-Man got to his feet and felt. He walked near the edge of the building and glanced down to the street, then he felt his gaze zoom back, looking as if the drop looked higher than it actually was. Flash took a few steps back, feeling a chill down his spine. "What's going on with me?" Flash pondered, feeling a bit confused and a bit scared for some reason.
Flash glanced behind him, there was a door to some stairs to help him get downstairs, luckily it wasn't super late so he went to the door and tried to open it. It was locked! "Shit!" Flash was starting to panic, he needed to see his mom in an hour and he was stuck on the top of a building. He ran to the other side of the building near the alleyway and luckily there were ladders leading to the ground.
Flash sighed in relief a little but he was still bewildered over what just happen!
Author's Note
Okay so this is chapter 2 of FSTSS Issue #2 Rebooted, in this chapter I kind of show Flash's school life, well not really it's kind of a brief thing and how he's doing with Sunset Shimmer, mainly just making implications.
But even before that I show Flash's daily dillemea of trying to put Spider-Man off for a day and continue to live on in his daily life but even so he still takes it due to how much the death of his father has really affected him.
Flash also has a friendship with Soarin, this was established in rebooted #1, in the original 2 books I think I just added Soarin into the cast of characters not really giving him any sort of back story or what not so it's really cool to have changed his character in this story.
So now it comes to the Spider-Man part of the chapter which by the way is like about 40% of the whole chapter. I kindo of couldn't think of anything that would be original so I went with another chase scene (come to think about it there's a lot of chase scenes in this story) anyways I added a little nod to the first story which was a bunch of CircoVison products.
Than comes Electro and Spider-Man finally meeting, again kind of like in the first one they meet very early in the story, almost in a comic book way, It's kind of really hard to figure out how I was supposed to introduce him, orignally in the orignial version he kind of appeared after Spider-Man attacked him, now I decided to take a really classic comic book approach and just have him approach Spider-Man, a bit cliche but in my defense, I'm in school right now and it is very hard to generate ideas, but that's off topic.
Oh yeah side note, this is probably the story I've worked on the least so far, even when I wrote the original two I just rarely worked on the second one trying to enjoy the rest of summer. When I wrote the third issue, I had the most fun because I was writing in a different setting and visualising was a lot easier, when I wrote the first one I was over my head and a bit trigger happy, when it comes to this I just don't really know!
Tell me what you think about this and the original in the comments, uh hey maybe leave a like I don't really know🤷
