Canterlot office building basement level

Thorax and the fillies, stood in their positions next to the door. Thorax was holding the hose handle while standing on the right side of the door with Twilight and Fluttershy behind him, and Rainbow Dash was holding the hose handle while standing on the left side of the door with Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack behind her. And all of them placed their oxygen masls on. And Thorax began to count down.

"Okay, on three!" Thorax told them.

The fillies nodded and prepared, and Twilight had to take some deep breaths to calm down.

"One! Two-"

Then a small explosion happened in the room which made them step back a little.

"Enter!" Said Thorax.

"Let's do this!" All of them said as they charged through the door and entered the room. Thorax, Twilight and Fluttershy were the first to enter the basement, and Thorax pulled the handle back and water began to shoot out from the nozzle.

"Come on! Let's do this!" Said Twilight with confident.

"Rainbow Dash! You and your group move to the right!" Thorax ordered them.

"On it!" Said Rainbow Dash as she, Pinkie, Rarity and Applejack moved to the right side of the fire.

"Keep your focus Twilight!" Thorax told her.

"Got it!"

Then a small explosion hit Rainbow Dashes group, and she and her friends fell on the floor.

"Maintain formation!" Thorax told them.

Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack immediately stood up and grabbed the hose. Then Rainbow Dash pulled the handle back again and water began to shoot out of the nozzle.

Thorax, Twilight and Fluttershy managed to put out some of the fire, but an explosion hit Fluttershy on her side, and she fell on the ground. When Twilight saw Fluttershy fall on the ground, she immediately turned around and picked her up.

"Come on! Focus!" Twilight told her.

Fluttershy nodded and grabbed the hose line again, and she focused on the fire.

"Nice work Twilight!" Thorax told her.

Twilight turned around and said "Thank you!"

After shooting the water and pushing through for twenty seconds. The seven of them finally reached the power box, and they saw it on fire with sparks shooting out of it.

"There's the source!" Said Applejack.

"Everypony! Keep pushing through!" Said Thorax.

"Yes, Thorax!"

All seven of them were shooting water near the power box, but when the water touched the power box, a huge explosion happened, which made them fly backwards and hit the floor roughly.

"Ooof! Is everypony okay?" Thorax asked looking at his team.

The fillies stood up and said "We're all okay Thorax!"

Then Thorax looked at the power box and saw that it was broken. And fires began to spread towards them.

"Quickly! Extinguish the fire!" Said Thorax.

"On it!"

But then, another explosion hit them which made them fall on the ground again.

"Ahh!" Yelped Rarity.

"Ooof!" grunted Rainbow Dash.

Thorax sat up and began to look at the top. He then saw a ventilation shaft sucking up some of the smokes and fire.

"Guys! There's a ventilation shaft up there!" Said Thorax pointing at the ventilation shaft.

The fillies then looked at the ventilation shaft on their top right.

"That ventilation shaft leads to the outside!" Said Applejack.

Thorax stood up and took off his oxygen mask, and threw it on the floor. Then he grabbed his fire axe from his back and held it in his hooves.

"Thorax. What are you doing?" Twilight asked.

"I'm gonna throw my axe at the ventilation shaft." Said Thorax with a confident look.

Then Rainbow Dashes eyes widened when she heard that.

"But Thorax! That's just a method in the books! I don't think it'll work!" She told him.

"We have to try. Cover me!" Said Thorax as he ran towards the ventilation shaft and past some fires.

"Thorax wait!" Said Rarity. Then she looked at Twilight. "Twilight! Don't just stand there! Cover him!" She told her.

"Oh! Okay!" Said Twilight. Then she pulled the handle back and began to shoot water at the fires near Thorax.

Once Thorax was near the ventilation shaft, he swung his right hoof back and threw the axe at the ventilation shaft. The ventilation shaft broke open when the axe collided with it. And the fires and smoke began to get sucked in the ventilation shaft and outside.

Outside of the Canterlot office building

A royal guard and the Canterlot junior brigade fire chief saw fire and smoke coming out of one of the ventilation shaft on the right.

"What is he doing?" The guard asked the fire chief.

"He's directing the fire out of the building." The fire chief replied.

Back in the basement

After the fire was sucked into the ventilation shaft, it got smaller and the fillies found it easier to fight the fire. Then Thorax ran back to Twilight and Fluttershy.

"Thanks for covering me y'all!" Said Thorax.

"Your welcome Thorax!" Said the fillies.

Then they began to shoot out water again, and the fire near the power box began to get smaller. Then after 10 seconds, the fire was put out and all of them began cheering.

"Woohoo! We did it!" Said Rarity.

"Take that fire!" Said Rainbow Dash.

"I'm gonna throw a party after this!" Said Pinkie Pie with a huge smile behind her oxygen mask.

"No fire is match for us!" Said Applejack.

"Thank goodness the fire is out." Said Fluttershy with a smile.

"And it's also a good thing that the fire didn't ruin my hair like last time." Said Rarity with a calm look behind her mask.

Twilight grabbed Thorax's oxygen mask on the floor and walked up to him.

When Thorax saw Twilight walking up to him. He looked at her and asked "What is it Twilight?"

Then Twilight gave him his oxygen mask.

"Thank you Twilight." Said Thorax grabbing his oxygen mask.

"That was really impressive Thorax, no wonder why everypony in the fire station sees you as a legend." Said Twilight with a smile.

"I know, but you also did a great job on covering me while I was running towards the ventilation shaft." He told her.

Twilight blushed behind her mask and said "Thank you."

Then Thorax looked back at the fillies.

"Alright guys, time to rescue the ponies trapped in the building."

"Yes, Thorax!"

"Okay, follow me!" Said Thorax.

Then he lead his team back to the fire escape door. Once they got there, they walked through the door and walked back upstairs.

"Let's start on the 12th floor guys." Said Thorax.

"Understood!" Said the fillies as they followed him.
