Canterlot shopping centre exit 7:15pm

At the exit of the shopping centre, Nightlight, Velvet and Shining armour were looking in the shopping bags checking if they have bought everything to celebrate with Twilight.

"Is this everything?" Shining armour asked.

"Yes, this is everything son." Velvet replied to her son.

"Okay, now all we have to do is to go to the fire station and find Twilight. After that, we can go home and celebrate her successful saving at the office building." Said Nightlight.

"Great idea dad." Said Shining armour.

"Then let's go." Said Nightlight as he was about to head to the fire station with his wife and son, but then a familiar voice stopped them.

"Wow, that was a nice first date Thorax. We didn't even have to wait for an hour for any of that." Said Twilight walking happily with Thorax, but then she saw her parents and big brother next to her.

"Dad? Mom? Shiny?" Said Twilight starring at her parents and big brother with a shocked expression.

"Twily?" Said Nightlight starring back.

"Twilight?" Said Velvet starring at her daughter.

"Little sis?" Said Shining armour starring at her with a shocked expression as well.

Then the three of them took notice of the green changeling next to her.

"Who is that?" Nightlight asked looking at the young green changeling next to her.

"Is that the fire legend Thorax?" Velvet asked looking at the green changeling.

"Who?" Nightlight asked looking at his wife.

"He is a legendary firefighter dad." Shining armour told him.

"Are they your parents Twilight?" Thorax asked her.

"Yes."

Nightlight walked up to the green changeling and grabbed him by the face, and Thorax tried to free himself.

"What were you doing with my daughter?" Nightlight asked as he pulled his face close to his, and Thorax couldn't reply because he was holding his face.

"Dad! That's enough!" Said Twilight as she pushed her father's hoof away from Thorax's face and pulled him back a little.

"You okay Thorax?" Twilight asked.

"Yes." Thorax nodded.

Nightlight then looked at her daughter and saw that she was holding a large teddy bear, he must assume that it was a gift from the changeling, and he got extremely angry. He then walked up to his daughter and grabbed her hoof.

"We're going home." Nightlight told her.

Twilight tried to resist but it would be a bad idea, she then sighed and nodded, then Nightlight, Velevt, Shining armour and Twilight returned home, and Twilight waved goodbye to Thorax and he waved back, then he returned to the fire station.

Ponyville Twilight's home

Nightlight and Velvet were talking to Twilight about the date she had with that changeling, her father was extremely angry, but her mother was calm.

"Dad! Calm down!" Twilight yelled.

"I can't!" Nightlight yelled back.

"Twily, can you tell us why you were hanging out with the fire legend Thorax?" Velvet asked her daughter.

"It's because I asked him out on a date." She told her.

Nightlight's eyes widened in anger when he heard that his daughter was the one who asked him out on a date.

"WHAT?! WHY!?" He yelled.

"It's because-" Twilight was cut off when her father yelled at her again.

"HE IS PROBABLY A STUPID AND MEAN CHANGELING TWILIGHT! HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT!?" Nightlight yelled.

When Twilight heard that, her eyes widened in anger and she starred at her father with an angry expression.

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT HIM DAD!?" Twilight yelled at her father angrily which made her mother jump "HE IS A VERY NICE AND KIND CHANGELING WHO HELPED ME THROUGH MY TRAINING AND PROTECTING ME DURING THE FIRE IN THE OFFICE BUILDING! AND YOU ARE JUST MAD BECAUSE I FOUND SOMEPONY YOU DISLIKE!" She finished.

"DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!" Nightlight yelled at his daughter.

"MAYBE IF YOU DIDN'T SAY THOSE HARSH WORDS ABOUT HIM I WOULDN'T YELL AT YOU!"

"I-"

Both of them were cut off when Velvet slammed her hooves on the table.

"QUIET DOWN YOU TWO! ARGUING IS NOT GOING TO SLOVE ANYTHING!" Velvet yelled.

Nightlight and Twilight both sat down on their seats when she said that. Velvet then took some deep breaths and looked at her daughter.

"Now Twily, can you tell us about Thorax?" Velvet asked.

Twilight wanted to introduce Thorax to them, but she was thinking about whether she should bring him to them and introduce himself to her family. She then looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was 8:30pm. She then stood up and looked at her parents.

"I have no time, I need to go back to the fire station, I have duty tomorrow." Twilight told them as she turned around, but Nightlight called her.

"TWILIGHT! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING UNTIL YOU TALK ABOUT HIM!" Nightlight yelled.

When Twilight heard her father wanting to know about Thorax again, she turned around and looked at him with an irritated look.

"Well if you think that he is superstitious, then why don't you visit him in the fire station tomorrow morning?" Twilight told her father, then she turned to the door and exited her home. She then ran back to the fire station.

Canterlot junior fire station 9:00pm Thorax's dorm

Thorax has finished taking a shower and brushing his teeth in his bathroom. And he lied down on his bed and was gonna go to bed. But before he did, he heard a knock on his door, and he must assume that it is Twilight.

"I'm coming." Said Thorax as he walked to his door, he opened it and Twilight launched herself at him and kissed him which caught him off guard, she then pushed him on the bed and they kissed.

After kissing for fifteen seconds, they released and looked at each other with smiles on their faces.

"Hello there Twilight, this is a big surprise." Thorax chuckled.

"Well it's still not tomorrow yet, and our date is not over, so I can spend some time with you in your dorm, or better I can stay here with you!" She told him with a huge smile on her face.

"That's great." Thorax replied kissing her on the forehead.

"Oh and yes, I think my family wants to see you tomorrow morning." She told him as she rested herself on him "They want to know some informations about you." She finished.

"Fair enough, I think it is appropriate to introduce myself to your family."

"Thank you for understanding Thorax." She said as she kissed him again, then she released and got off him.

Thorax then pulled the blankets on top of them and Twilight hugged Thorax with a happy expression.

"Goodnight Twilight." Said Thorax hugging Twilight back.

"Goodnight Thorax." She said burying her head underneath his, and they drifted to sleep.
