Canterlot junior fire station 8:30am Thorax's dorm

In Thorax's dorm room, Thorax and Twilight were sleeping comfortably while holding each other's hooves, they had a day off today so they had nothing to worry about, but then somepony knocked on the door.

*Knock knock knock*

Thorax and Twilight both woke up at the same time from the knocking.

"Uhhhhh." Twilight moaned as she woke up "Who is it this time?" Twilight asked rubbing her eyes.

"Is it the fire instructor?" Thorax asked as he sat up straight and rubbed his eyes "I thought we have a day off today." He said.

Then there was another knock on the door.

*Knock knock knock*

"Who is it?" Thorax asked.

"Thorax, it's me Fluttershy."

"I'm coming." Thorax said as he got off the bed, he then walked to his door and opened it and saw Fluttershy in her pajama.

"Fluttershy? Why are you up so early? Don't we have a day off?"

"I know but, there is a stallion and a mare in our canteen, and the stallion really wants to see you, and he seems very mad." Fluttershy replied with a terrified expression.

Thorax then exited his room and looked down the corridor and saw a dark blue stallion and a grey mare sitting on the canteen chairs, and the dark blue stallion had an angry expression while the mare was showing signs of calmness.

Thorax then turned around and looked at Fluttershy.

"What should I tell them?" Fluttershy asked.

"Tell them that I am coming down to greet them soon." Thorax replied.

"Okay." Fluttershy said with a nod, she then began to walk down stairs to talk to the two ponies.

Thorax reentered his room and began to put on his shoes.

"Is it my parents?" Twilight asked with an irritated look.

"Yep." He nodded.

"Uggh! I can't believe their that annoying."

"Well, they do need to know who's courting their daughter." Thorax chuckled.

"Yeah, I guess your right." She giggled.

"Heh, anyways I need to prepare to meet your parents, and you probably should too." Thorax told her.

"Okay."

Then Twilight returned to her dorm and Thorax brushed his teeth and washed his face, and Twilight was combing her hair and brushing her teeth at the same time. After that, Thorax walked out of his room and began to walk downstairs to the two ponies.

Once he got to the canteen, he saw Fluttershy talking to the dark blue stallion.

"Um, sir. You just have to wait for a while after he is done." Fluttershy tried to calm the stallion down.

"FOR HOW LONG?! I WANT TO SEE HIM NOW!" Nightlight yelled which made her flinch.

"Looking for me sir?"

When the three ponies heard the voice, they looked and saw the green changeling known as Thorax walking towards them.

"Thorax." Said Fluttershy standing.

"You don't have to do that Fluttershy." Thorax told her as he raised his hoof "You can go back to your dorm and rest, I'll take care of this."

"Okay, thank you Thorax." She said as she ran back to her room.

Thorax then took a seat in front of the two ponies and he got himself a glare from the dark blue stallion, but the mare was smiling.

"So your the changeling who was dating my daughter." The stallion growled.

"That's correct sir." Thorax replied with a nod "My name is Thorax and you are?"

Before Nightlight could introduce himself, Velvet leaned herself on the table and began to shake Throax's hoof

"Nice to meet you Thorax, my name is Twilight Velvet and I am a huge fan of yours." Said Velvet with a smile.

"Nice to meet you too miss Velvet."

"Mom, stop acting like a foal."

When they heard the voice, they turned around and saw Twilight walking up to them.

"Twilight." Said Nightlight.

Twilight ignored her father and sat next to Thorax.

"Hello Twilight." Said Thorax with a smile.

Twilight replied by leaning her head on him with a smile.

Nightlight tried to yell again but Velvet stopped him.

"Nightlight, let's just have a talk with them."

Nightlight took a few deep breaths and looked at the green changeling.

"Okay mister Thorax, my name is Nightlight. And can you tell me why you were with my daughter last night at the shopping centre's entrance?" He asked.

"Me and Twilight were on a small date." Thorax replied simply.

"Yeah dad, that's all we did." Twilight said as she nuzzled Thorax.

Nightlight was a bit angry when he heard that, then Velevt asked them a question.

"What did you two do?"

"Well, we went to the shopping centre to buy some foods for our dinner we planned, we went to the library to read astronomy books, we did some ice skating in the ice skating rink, and finally we went to the arcade to have some fun." Thorax replied.

"Yeah, that's pretty much everything, and we encountered you three after we were finished with our first date." Said Twilight.

Velvet tried to ask them something else, but Nightlight quickly went to the point.

"What do you plan to do with my daughter?" Nightlight asked glaring at him.

Twilight couldn't believe that her father is acting so stubborn right now, it was almost like he was a three year old.

"Dad, can you please stop acting like this?"

But she didn't get a reply because he kept his glare at Thorax.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"You know what I mean."

Thorax was confused for a second, but then he came to a realization.

"Well, I haven't thought about that since our first date, maybe I can go out on more dates with her these months and maybe move it on once we're older." Thorax said.

When Thorax said those words, Twilight blushed furiously, because she knows what that means.

"He wants to marry me? I will be happy to have a foal and a husband." Twilight thought smiling.

Velvet was happy when she heard that the changeling wants to marry her daughter once they are older.

"Oh my Celestia Nightlight, we will be grandparents soon, and our son will be an uncle to their foal." Velvet told her husband with a smile.

Nightlight tried to say something back, but he had nothing, he then let out a defeated sigh.

"I guess that's everything I want to talk about, you two can continue with whatever you want to do, we'll be leaving." Said Nightlight as he stood up, then he left with his wife, but Velvet turned around and looked at her daughter and Thorax once more.

"Goodbye Twily, and it was great talking with you Thorax." Said Velvet, she then walked out of the station with her husband.

After the talk, Twilight looked at Thorax with a small blush.

"Thorax?"

"Yes?"

"Did you mean it when you said that you want to marry me?" Twilight asked.

"Maybe, once we're older." Thorax replied.

Twilight smiled and kissed him on the lips, and Thorax kissed back.

After ten seconds, they released and looked at each other with smiles on their faces.

"I can't wait for us to be married." Said Twilight hugging him.

"Me too, and maybe have a foal along the way." Thorax chuckled.

Twilight giggled when she heard that, then they returned to Thorax's dorm.
