The Skyscraper, Sherman Towers.

The news of Shocker's arrest and Ricochet's death didn't take long to get to The Big Man. Only a few minutes time, that's how long it took for Big Man to receive the news. He of course realized that he'd wasted even more money on an otherwise useless experiment to take down Spider-Man. But he did have a backup plan.

The Tinkerer otherwise known as Doctor Phineas Mason, had developed a super human serum. A new serum that uses the elements of Globulin Green but completely contrasts it by being a more stable serum. And it was to be administered by a needle.

Big Man sat on a chair. He wore just a white dress shirt, black slacks and dress shoes. His sleeve was rolled up and with that revealed dark beige skin.

"Okay Doctor!" said Big Man, "Are you sure this is foolproof? Because as far as I'm concerned, the whole 'technological super suit idea failed!"

The Tinkerer smirked, flicking his finger at the end of the needle, "Well, I say in order to run a successful experiment, you need a lab rat or two to test the.....conditions, yeah we'll just say that."

Big Man arched an eyebrow behind his mask, "Touché."

The Tinkerer walked over to The Big Man, "Okay, from the research I've done, this serum should give you the same reflexivity as the Green Goblin and the fighting ability of.... what was his name."

"Tombstone?"

"Yes, that one."

"Do it." Big Man demanded.

Tinkerer smirked, "As you wish."

He knelt down so his field of view could be fixed on Big Man's arm. Taking the needle, he began piercing the needle slowly into Big Man's arm. Big Man sat there unfazed by the slight sting of the needle. Tinkerer pushed the plunger top, making the serum travel through the bassel and adaptor of the needle all the way into the shaft. The serum came out through the bevel and was slowly being injected into Big Man.

Big Man grit his teeth, his arm became completely numb. Then, he suddenly started palpating. He was breathing faster, hyperventilating in fact. Was it all a mistake, was all of this a huge mistake?

Meanwhile, Tinkerer had his eyes narrowed on Big Man. There was two scenarios of what might go down. One, the whole procedure goes successful and he would've created an artificial Super Human. Two, he dies of shock due to how overwhelming the serum is.

Suddenly, Big Man stopped. For a moment scenario two seemed likely. But then Big Man started panting slowly, meaning it worked. Big Man slowly got to his feet. He gazed into his hands for a moment, opening and closing them. He glanced away from them.

Then he let out a grunt, performing a high kick in a fast motion.

Tinkerer smirked, "So I presume it worked."

"Well you're the expert Doctor." Said Big Man, "But I think all signs are in a positive direction." He glanced at the clock, "I better go, no doubt my wife is probably wondering why I'm late for dinner."

Tinkerer nodded, "Of course." Taking his brown leather bag he started for the elevator. Walking inside and watching as the doors slid closed. He had a sinister smirk across his face. Getting his phone out, he dialed Circuit Breaker's Number.

"Okay, I've administered this new and improved Globulin Green of yours."

"Good!" said Circuit Breaker over the phone, "Excellent even."

"So." Tinkerer took a deep breath, "How confident are you that this enhanced serum is going to be better than it's predecessor?"

"Better Stabilization, for months we've been trying to make it just stable enough so the user wouldn't have any sort of blackouts, now with the help of your team I think we've created the perfect serum. You're not doubting you're team are you?"

"Of course not." The Tinkerer managed to keep his calm, nonchalant tone, "I'm just curious to see what will happen to this lab rat of ours."

"It's like you said Phineas, in order to have a successful experiment, you need a lab rat or two!
