Chapter 9: Origins of the Helllslayer part 2

3rd POV

The entire room grew silent after what Dayman had said and after a few minutes the girls minus the princesses then said…

“WAIT YOU WISH TO STAY HERE IN PONYVILE?!!!!”

Is what every pony yelled out at the same time as Dayman managed to cover his ears from their yelling before answering the girls as he places his hands onto his knees.

“Yes, I figured it would be the best choice to protect you girls from any Shadow Demons that are still roaming around the land. I have already discussed with the princesses, and they have agreed to let me stay here in Ponyvile for the foreseeable future. Plus, I wish to spend some time with you girls to make up for making you all worried while I was still unconscious.” He said though Celestia and Luna were a bit saddened that Dayman will remain here instead of Canterlot.

“Are you sure about this darling? I mean after Celestia revealed your existence to the citizens you might be hounded by news ponies as well as the residents here in Ponyvile.” Said Rarity as Dayman waves it off.

“It’s no issue Miss Belle its not the first time that I had to deal with citizens and the press so I assure to you that I will be fine. Though I must ask you if you can help me with something mainly Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash.” Said Dayman as the 3 mentioned mares looked at him with a curious gaze.

“What ya need our help for?” asked the apple mare as Dayman clears his throat.

“Though the elements were able to help me reconnect with the red core as well as my memories my abilities have been reset and will require me to train myself to use its power again. And I believe that each of you can help me regain my strength as well as learn a few new skills after all I recall Applejack building up strength in the farm after witnessing how powerful her kicks are which are amazing if I do say so myself. Also, I will need to properly learn how to fly now that I have acquired the phoenix wings again and I believe Rainbow Dash can help me with that since she is an excellent flyer. And after acquiring this belt here I may need some help learning how to use magic and who better then the magical expert herself Twilight Sparkle.” He said though he meant every word as a compliment he didn’t realize how effective his words were as the 3 mares proceeded to blush at the praise.

However, one thing came into Twilights mind after Dayman said Phoenix wings.

“Wait why are those wings that you used back in the Everfree called the Phoenix wings? Are they a form of magic that you use or is it something that only you can do?” asked the purple unicorn as Dayman facepalms after realizing that he forgot to explain about some things.

“Right, I forgot that there are somethings that I haven’t properly explained since I had lost my memory so why don’t I explain somethings that have whether it be abilities and the gear I have. Starting with your question Twilight about the phoenix wings, you see when I was under the care of my godmother Mother phoenix who happens to be a real-life phoenix bird and one that is larger than Celestia’s pet phoenix Philomena. And after absorbing one of her feathers, I was given the gift of the phoenix whish granted me these wings.” He said as two wings of red energy appear behind them as everyone awed at the sight though Celestia and Luna had looks of shock at the sight of the wings as both sisters proceeded to touch the wings as they felt a comforting warmth from touching them.

“That’s just one of my abilities I have other abilities, but I think I should hold them off for later and explain my gear. For starters this jacket that I wear is no ordinary jacket for it was made with a unique material called cosmic thread which grants me the ability to store and carry items no matter the weight or the size like so.” He said as he proves it by reaching inside the jacket and pulls out a can of cola much to the surprise of the girls as he proceeds to crack it open before drinking it.

“And that’s not all check this out.” He places the can down to the side and reaches inside before pulling out a curved single edge blade with a black handle and grey guard as the entire blade had a crimson color and a very sharp edge as he places the blade down on the floor. He then reaches with one hand in each side before pulling out two black metallic cannons which looked like a mixture of a .45 caliber pistol and a desert eagle as he twirls them around his finger before placing them back into floor beside the blade as every pony stared them as mane 6 recognize what these were.

“Wait those looks like the items you used when that shadow meanie appeared.” Said Pinkie as Celestia and Luna examined the blade and cannons with interest.

“Such a strange looking blade, we have not seen such a weapon like it before.” Commented Luna as Twilight was jotting down notes in her scroll.

“Well, that’s no surprise since most of the swords used here seem to look like western swords from the Middle Ages from back on my world. This blade here is called a katana a Japanese style blade that was crafted for cutting and slicing through enemies with powerful swings called the Infamous Blade. A blade that was used by the skilled blade masters of Gaia and the only one of its kind since it was made with a unique material that allows the user to fuse it with his or own energy and its sort of a family heirloom since the last one who used it was my mother.” He said as every pony was amazed at the blade as Luna uses her magic to lift the blade up only for her magic to dissipate upon touching the blade.

“What trickery is this?” asked the Lunar princess as Dayman chuckles at this as Luna raises an eyebrow at the human

“Forgive me Luna, but the reason why that happened is due to an enchantment that was placed upon the blade where it can only be used by the one who has earned the right to use it. And after learning the ancient arts of the blade the sword is now bound to me until it can be passed down to someone worthy to use it.” He says as he lifts the blade up and hands it to Luna who after holding it was surprised at the weight the blade had and by the gleam it was giving off once the light hits its side.

“Such a unique blade thee have, a fine blade to be in the hands of crimson descendant.” Said Luna as she hands the blade to Celestia who is also amazed at its design.

“And what about those weird looking cannons there?” asked Spike as he points toward the two black and grey cannons as Dayman grabs onto one and begins to twirl it around his index finger as he pulls back the metal slide on its top as a cartridge slides out from the handle before letting out some steam which startles the group.

It then beeps 3 times before he pushes the metal slide back in place as the cartridge enters inside the gun as a red light shines from the side of the weapon before doing the same to the other one as he holds both in each hand.

“These right here are my dual black heart pistols, twin guns crafted by me during my time in the city of Arcadia which fires red energy projectiles in a rapid pace and able to hit its mark to whoever I am targeting. By channeling my energy through the cartridge, I can fire without the worry of having to reload it, however using it for too long causes them to overheat which initiates the cooldown feature. Which is why I make every shot count something I learned when I was taught in the ways of the gunslinger as I was taught in the ways of various firearms as I learn how to hit my mark while also being quick on the draw.” He says twirling both guns around his fingers before setting them back down onto the floor.

Many of the girls were amazed at his guns as they remembered how they were used against the Shadow Demon that had once corrupted Luna and the many projectiles it fired at the demon as it left it with holes on its body.

“That is quite fascinating, are there other weapons that you have in your jacket.” Asked Twilight as Dayman shook his head.

“Sadly no, my other weapons were badly damaged during the final battle against the Shadow King.

He says just then Pinkie’s head pops out from inside the jacket startling the girls as the pink mare giggles at their reaction.

“You girls should see the inside of this thing I could store a bunch of cakes and many other tasty treats.” She says as the girls just had wide-eyed expressions while the princesses were trying to hold back a giggle.

“Pinkie, what are you doing in there?” asked the purple unicorn as Pinkie then pops out of Dayman’s jacket as she sat next to him.

“I wanted to see how big it was inside of his jacket and figured I would have a looksie there. And boy is there a lot of space there I could store a bunch of cakes in there.” She responded though Twilight seemed bewildered at Pinkie’s words while Dayman couldn’t help but smile at Pinkies antics.

Suddenly Dayman felt a strange presence to as he looked at a nearby window with serious gaze only to see nothing in sight as this catches Rainbow Dash’s attention.

“Something wrong Dayman?” asked the rainbow haired mare as Dayman turns back to the group with his serious gaze now gone.

“Sorry about that for a moment I thought some one was watching us.” He said as every pony had a curious gaze at the human.

“Umm…Dayman. Where do you plan on staying here in Ponyvile if you don’t mind me asking?” Asked a shy Fluttershy as Dayman nods at her.

“Well, I did plan on making a camp within the Everfree, but the royal sisters were against that idea so I figured I would stay her in the library with Twilight and Spike.” He responded as Twilight and Spike were surprised at this.

“It is also something that I figured would be the best you 3 have been inseparable since your time at Canterlot. Not only that but Dayman will also be here to keep an eye on Twilight so that she doesn’t go overboard and help her along the way of her studies in the magic of friendship.” Said Celestia as Twilight blushed at the remark but smiled at the thought of having Dayman living with her and Spike as the purple dragon was overjoyed as he leaped at the human and gave him the biggest hug he could muster as the human accepted it gladly.

“So, with that out of the way does anyone have any questions they wish to ask about me?” questioned the human as Dash raised her hand up as Dayman nods at her.

“What were those killer moves you used on that Shadow Demon? And is it possible to teach me that.” asked Rainbow.

“That was a form of martial arts called ‘Way of the Dragon’ a fighting style that consists of striking hard, very fast, and on the mark. However, the training required for it requires me to use weights on my body and limbs, so I am not sure if your up for that.” He said as Rainbow had a sheepish look on her face as Applejack raised her hand as Dayman nods at her.

“Since ya got your memories back. You mentioned that when ya met my little ya said that she reminded ya of some pony familiar to ya who was it?” asked the apple farmer mare as Dayman nodded at her.

“Ah yes well to answer your question your sister reminded me of my little sister Sophie. Daughter to one of my god mothers named Mother Phoenix or MP for short. Seeing her reminded me of how she looked like when she was little before me, and my other siblings were separated.” Answered Dayman as Rarity then raised her hand as Dayman pointed at her.

“Seeing that your related to Crimson Star who is the brother of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna does that make you a member of the royal family?” asked Rarity as all eyes were now on Dayman who sighed at this while Celestia and Luna giggled at his reaction.

“Yes, that would make me royalty as well. Celestia and Luna explained to me that due to being Crimsons descendant I apparently inherit the title of prince much to my annoyance. Just don’t treat me any differently just because I am a royal, okay? I am not really the prince type if I am being honest with all of you.” He said as everyone looked at each other surprised at hearing all of this though they were not as surprised as Twilight and Spike who could not believe that the human, they were with was royalty. Though this did make the girls raise an eyebrow as to why he would be annoyed to be called a royal.

Soon Fluttershy raised her hand to which Dayman then pointed at her as she eeps a bit but manages to calm herself as she asked her question.

“Umm how old are you? If you don’t mind me asking.” She asked shyly as Dayman smiles at her.

“Well, that’s another thing I forgot to mention. What you see before me is how looked like when I was 18 when in reality, I am 21 years old. This is due to my genetics which causes me to age slowly than any normal living being, something that I inherited from both of my parents and is something that my other siblings have also inherited.” Answered Dayman as every pony grew surprised at this bit of news. Soon it was Twilight that raised her hand to which Dayman then pointed at her as she then asked her question.

“What was it like living in a world separated into 3 kingdoms?” she asked as Dayman began to ponder at this.

“Well, I admit it was scary since the first time I was shown Arcadia and Gaia I was about 4 when I met some of the other races since many of them were non-humans in fact looking back those, I have interacted with them the most were cyborgs and vampires in fact 2 of them are actually good friends of mine.” He said as though some of the mares wondered what a cyborg was Spike was shocked once he heard the word vampire along with the other mares as they looked at the human for him to elaborate more.

“Much like the other races here their exist various other races in both Arcadia though it will probably take a long time to explain each and everyone of them so I will just explain the ones that I mentioned just now. To start off Cyborgs are humans who were given cybernetic enhancements in their bodies making them both flesh and machine not to mention that they also have a love for neon lights which light up from their bodies. In the lands of Gaia their also exist a race who fall under the category of monsters called vampires and before either one of you say anything they are not blood sucking parasites but a race of night creatures who maintain order in the more nocturnal creatures of the land. Speaking of which…” he then reaches into his jacket and pulls out 3 journals as the first was labeled NYC, the second labeled Arcadia, and the third labeled Gaia as he then hands them over to Twilight.

“These journals contain information about the very kingdoms I was in and figured that this would help explain the very things that exists in each Kingdom.” He said as the purple unicorn smiled in glee as she hugged Dayman before hugging the journals for, she was looking forward into learning new information.

“So, anyone else have any other question?” he asked as Luna then raised her hand to which the human then nods to her.

“You mentioned that you had a younger sibling is she the only member of your family?” she asked as this makes Dayman smile brightly.

“Well other than my little sister Sophie, have 3 other siblings in my family. A younger brother named James who is basically a soldier with a mastery of firearms as he is able to hit anyone without missing and is also an inventor. Not only that but he is skilled with an ability called telekinesis where he is able to move things with his mind as well as use elements like fire you could say it’s a form of magic but one that comes from the mind and not from a horn.” He said as Spike whistled at this bit of info.

“Sounds like a cool soldier makes me wonder how he would fend off against the royal guard.” He commented as Dayman chuckles at this.

“Believe me when I say that James would overpower them especially after being how they were easily dispatched during the summer sun celebration, no offense Celestia. I bet he wouldn’t mind training some of them which may be too much for them since he is often serious and strict though he tries to act that way when not in a fight.” Said Dayman though Celestia did give him a look at the comment about her guards which was true as Luna let out a small giggle at the comment.

“The next one is my younger sister named Michelle who is a skilled warrior called a shinobi or in others a ninja and is skilled in the arts of ninjutsu and espionage. And like my brother she is skilled with the ability to use wind magic and is also skilled in the ways of the blade much like myself. In fact, Pinkie reminds me a lot of her with how she pops up from out of nowhere and has her bubbly personality as well.” He said as Pinkie lets out a cute giggle as Dayman then continues.

“The third one is Carter, a lunarian with a unique skill in magic as he wields a powerful staff that grants him great power and has been serving under my family for many years now. Even though he isn’t related to me by blood he has earned the right to be called my brother especially since he has kept the rest of my family safe from harm when the Shadow King invaded. Now if only he would treat me like a brother instead of treating me like a bloody royal.” Said Dayman as he lets out a sigh as he remembered the many times Carter would bow to him and would even speak to him with title.

Celestia and Luna places a wing on his back as Celestia could relate as she and Twilight had that same problem and would wish she would dispense with the titles when they were alone.

“So, any more questions?” asked Dayman as Pinkie then raises her hand enthusiastically as Dayman then nods to her as she smiles at this.

“I only have two questions for you.” She said as she dawned a more serious look toward the human who had a curious look at the mare while the others were a bit surprised at the look the pink mare.

“Do you like parties? And what’s your favorite kind of cake?” asked the pink mare as all eyes were now on Dayman who began to ponder at the mares’ questions before answering.

“Well to answer your second question my favorite kind of cake is chocolate with red cherries. As for your first question I can’t answer that question for I haven’t been to any parties for quite some time now. In fact, that welcome party you threw for me, Twilight, and Spike was the first one I have been in.” Said Dayman as Pinkie goes wide-eyed at his words as the others did.

She then grabs him by the collar as she pulls him off the floor.

“How could you not attend a party in your life?” she asked as she started shaking him from his collar.

“My parents had to keep me and my siblings in a low profile since no one in the 3 kingdoms knew about us and after we were separated, we were all focused on training that the thought of parties never came to our minds.” He said frantically as Rainbow and Applejack pulled Pinkie off from him as the human fell to floor.

“In that case I will make sure to give you the bests party that you will ever experience.” She says before jumping into the air and proceeds to dash out from the door much to the surprise of every pony in the room.

“Well that happened.” Said the human who was calm at this as everyone else looked at him surprise at how calm it was as the princesses shook their heads at him for it reminded of them of a similar incident that happened to Crimson when they were young.

“I believe this will do for now. Me and my sister must return to Canterlot otherwise the nobles will start bickering about where we are.” Said Celestia as she mentally sighed at the thought of the nobility as she and Luna got up from the floor though not before both hugged Dayman as he hugs them back.

“Take care of yourself, dear.” Said Luna as let’s go of him.

“And be sure to keep an eye on Twilight for me, alright?” said Celestia as she lets go of him as human nods at her.

“I will and don’t worry I will make sure to visit you both once in a while.” He said as the two princesses nodded at him before making there way towards the carriage as they entered inside as the carriage is then lifted off into the sky and back to Canterlot. Dayman gets outside as he waves at the retreating carriage as the others then exit out from the library.

“Well as much as I want to stay and learn more from our new friend I must be heading home now and continue working on my orders. However Dayman, if ever you need some new attire don’t be afraid to visit my shop at Carousel Boutique and I will fashion you a new attire for someone as dashing as you.” Said Rarity as the human nods as the white unicorn then makes her way back home.

“I gotta get goin too. I still need to finish up on the harvest, but if ya ever need some work be sure to come visit Sweet Apple Acres I am sure some pony like ya can be an excellent farm hand.” Said Applejack as Dayman chuckles at her.

“Understood Applejack, see you then.” said the human as the orange apple mare then rushes down the path and back to the barn.

“Yeah, same here I need to get back on weather patrol duty if I want to do some more training in before the day is done but if your ever need a training partner just give me a call and I be there in 10 seconds flat.” She said as Dayman gives her a thumbs up.

“I also need to head home I need to feed the animals back home before it gets late.” Said Fluttershy as Dayman nods at her as Dash walks over to the yellow Pegasus.

“I will walk you home Flutters don’t you worry.” Said Dash as the two Pegasus mares leave the library together though not before waving goodbye at Dayman, Twilight, and Spike.

With just the three of them Dayman then turns to mare and dragon.

“Well, that was fun.” He said as he felt a tug on his jacket as he looked down to see Spike trying to grab his attention.

“Come on big bro I will show you to your room and I also wished to show you on some new comics that I managed to get before we left Canterlot.” said Spike as he pulled Dayman toward the direction of the guest room as he shakes his head in amusement as he followed the young Dragon.

Twilight simply smiled at the sight as she was overjoyed at the thought of her human friend staying with her and Spike as she looks back at all the things that lead to this point. However, a few stray thoughts of him started to appear one was of him carrying her bridal style and him protecting her from Nightmare Moon when all hope was lost. This causes her to blush as she placed her hand over her heart which seemed to beat at the thought of him as she shakes her head trying to calm down as she then lifted the journals Dayman had given her with her magic before going after the human and baby dragon.

Unknown to the group a mysterious figure was watching over their meeting and was quick to duck into cover when Dayman looked toward the window. This figure was an agent of a secret group and was ordered by Elder Red to keep tabs on the human upon learning of his reawakening as the agent witnessed the human use the power that was once wielded by Crimson Star confirming that the human was in fact his descendant. The agent smiles at this as she pulls out a scroll with the emblem of the red star on it as she decides to wait until nightfall to hand it over to him.

Nighttime…

It was already nighttime as Twilight and Spike were fast asleep after looking through the journals that Dayman had given Twilight as the human proceeded to place them all in bed as the human smiled at how peacefully they slept. Dayman was still trying to wrap his mind on where he was right now and as to why Equestria was never mentioned back in the 3 kingdoms or why Crimson Star was never mentioned in the family records. He also wondered about the new belt he was given as well as wondering if there were more shadow demons lurking within the lands of Equestria. Dayman decides to meditate on the matter as he sat down on the floor legs crossed and his hands clapped together with his eyes clothes as he manages to ease himself with all of those thoughts from before. Not only that but his body began to glow red as this also helps him manage the power of the red core from within him as his power began to flow throughout his entire body, but just then he felt a surge of energy from outside of the library as he then opens his eyes and immediately got to his feet.

He then heads out from the library as he pulls out his sword with both hands as he looked around the area seeing nothing but the land being bathed in the calmness of nighttime. But just as the surge appeared it soon faded as Dayman was confused as he checked the outside one last time before heading back inside the library. But just before he could enter, he noticed as scroll was placed in front of the door as he grabs it and take notice of the red star emblem on the scroll.

“What is this?” he says as he enters inside the library and proceeds to read it the scroll.

“To the descendant of Crimson Star, we are pleased to see that you have made a full recovery from your recent battle against Nightmare Moon. We are also happy to hear that you have also regained the power of Red Star, but I believe it is time that we reveal our existence to you as servants of the great Crimson Star. Within this scroll contains the location of where you will meet one of our agents there, she will reveal who we are be for will be wearing a medallion with the mark of the red star on it. We have much to discuss with you and we hope to see you very soon. Signed the…Church of the Red Star?” is what the human read as he began to ponder at this.

Meanwhile the mysterious figure looks at the human from the distance as she formed a smile at the thought of meeting the human for the very first time. As she caresses the medallion around her neck as she looks back at the human who was still in deep thought.

“Soon my dear human we will meet very…very soon.”

this took a while and i apoligize for that and will be continuing to do more for this story.
Don't worry i will continue the other story for this wont be the other stories that i will be working on.
