Act 1: Chapter 1
In the party room the ponies danced with their dancing partners. On the side were Shining Armor, Cadence and Sweetie Belle.
“If Luna is so talented when she spreads, why does she waste so much time helping the poor and miserable?” asked Sweetie Belle.
“It’s unfortunate. The royal guard, such an impertinence, would be worth a good bit,” said Shining Armor.
“We’re lucky to live in modern times,” said Sweetie Belle.
“If we are in modern times, your grace, then your willingness to judge your neighbor should be a pillar of society,” said Cadence.
“In particular?”
“With the quality of proposal that is based, your grace.”
“Look at me, Luna is crazy.” Shining Armor stepped away from his friends.
Fleur de Lis saw Starlight Glimmer. “Starlight Glimmer. We’re talking about your future. And I think you can’t wait for her to marry your daughter.”
“It’s not my mother’s choice, Fleur de Lis.” Rarity approached her mother.
“Rarity, don’t worry about that, okay?” said Starlight Glimmer. “Whatever your opinion of her as a scientist, Rarity will make sure she’s the ideal wife.”
Fleur de Lis laughed. “Ideal? Ideal is to be late for the engagement party! It’s a great lack of education!”
“Ah, ma’am. The subject of education shouldn’t be talked about to those who have none, ”said Rarity.
Fleur de Lis left with Fancy Pants by her side.
“Rarity.” Twilight approached Rarity with a smile.
“Twilight. Glad you can come.” smiled Rarity.
“You’re charming.”
Twilight Sparkle greeted Starlight Glimmer. Behind Rarity was Celestia, who was holding two drinks.
“Rarity, why did you get this stumbling block for yourself?” Rarity looked back and took the drink with her magic. “And don’t you see that life will charge you with a high price? Until it’s too late, will the doors close and no one will turn back?”
“But, Celestia. I decide for myself. Destiny is mine alone,” sang Rarity. “When my father left, my blessed mother always treated me like a filly! Or maybe I dreamed that I would become like her. It’s easy to understand the mother who dreams all the same in the end.”
As Rarity sang, she had moved a few feet away from Celestia. But then it returned.
“But no one will choose the wedding for me!” sang Rarity unhappy and gave the drink to Celestia. “I am not what everypony is. I am only here to inspire peace. They always judge everypony.”
Rarity looked at Celestia. “In her eyes I saw it. I know who I am.”
“Rarity, pay attention…”
“Celestia, by Faust! Leave me in peace! You lost! You know now I have decided. You passed and I grew up!” Rarity started to walk without looking at Celestia’s face.
“Someday, remorse will find you!” Celestia sang in an unhappy way before leaving. Rarity decided to move away from Celestia.
“Ah. You’re late Luna,” said Starlight Glimmer.
“Starlight Glimmer, I apologize for the delay,” said Luna.
“There’s nothing to be sorry for,” said Starlight Glimmer. “With Rarity, I’m learning to know you. I’m thinking of inviting everypony so that the day after your wedding, you would arrive on time.”
“I’ll be there without a doubt,” said Luna. “For me, those three months of engagement were the longest of my life.”
“The half hour spent on the hospital board today was certainly the longest hour of my life!” shouted Starlight Glimmer, not pleased.
“I am so sorry. But I had to stand up for what I believed,” said Luna.
“Even if it antagonizes the digesting powers so much?”
“Especially, your friends not digestive friends,” said Luna. “It’s just biased prejudices.”
“Starlight Glimmer, Luna is an honorable name, but not a diplomat,” said Twilight Sparkle.
“I didn’t know the two were incompatible,” said Starlight Glimmer.
“Fillies and Gentle Colts, dinner is served.”
Luna saw Rarity sitting and walked over to sit next to her. “Rarity.”
“Doctor Luna?”
“Are you mad at me?” asked Luna.
“I’m glad you’re here.” Smiled Rarity.
“I don’t miss any events that Fleur de Lis attends.”
Rarity laughed a little.
Luna looked at Rarity. “Is there a Mr. Fleur de Lis?”
“Oh. He died twenty years ago.” Rarity looked at Luna.
“But What a clever stud,” said Luna, now looking to her right.
“My dear Doctor, as you fight to save the world, I fight to preserve your reputation,” said Rarity. “I’m getting better.”
Luna looked at Rarity and put a hoof on Rarity. “Ah, Rarity. Do you know that life is full of these hassles?”
“I am aware.”
“Rarity, I’ll get on with the work I’m going to do,” Luna got up to sing. “I will not go astray and never get lost. I will show with my tests that I will do and win.”
“Luna, I adore you. My love is with you and your dream is mine…” Rarity sang. “And I will always guide your way and your way…”
Luna if approached Rarity. “My path is uncertain.”
“I promise to be around.”
“Rarity, please, for Faust… the front is waiting for me to…”
“I’ve always been like this…” sang Rarity. “Such a price to pay. It’s not in the hull anymore. We can’t anymore… we won’t go anymore… back… ”
Rarity and Luna kissed for a second before Luna left.
“My dreams come, I always see, what I created on the walk,” Luna sang as she held Rarity’s front hooves. “But where is the reward? Evil is the end of the road. And when to lose me, I only know how to get back to you. And live everything in me, and want it that way.”
Rarity put a hoof on Luna’s cheek before getting up. “You see me inside, in my arms are your shelter. And for you open always there is no longer alive our love will take us and our dream find.”
Rarity looked at Luna. “See him in me. And to live that way. ”
Luna went to Rarity. “Each of us will tremble. Each of us will remain.”
Luna took out Rarity. “Bring love, your heart.”
“You’re leaving, swear not?” sang Luna.
“I swear not,” sang Rarity.
“Look at me well.”
“Look at me well.”
“It’s like me.” Luna and Rarity approached before they kissed and left together.
There was no one else in the room except Celestia.
“Luna, I despise you. You stole the mare that was for me!” Celestia sang. “But one day, and in a hurry comes that pays like life to pay…”
Luna and Twilight Sparkle were walking down the street. Next to them was a Canterlot whorehouse.
“Everypony has their dark sides, Twilight,” said Luna.
“Do you call it freedom?” asked Twilight Sparkle.
“Yes. It’s always a herbivore animal to do what it wants. ”
A mare in a light brown dress had gone out to both mares. “Hello. Come with me.”
“What you intend to do is very dangerous, Luna,” Twilight Sparkle tried to warn Luna.
“I’m a doctor, Twilight. It is my duty to state what I need is a drink.” Luna went inside the house.
“Luna.” Twilight Sparkle came in but stopped when she saw a white mare in a pink dress.
“Such an instinctive mare for sure. Come on in, take a sip. Do you like anything?”
Luna was worried. “Is my face dirty?”
“Look, I wouldn’t accept that, but I’ll give you a discount,” said the mare.
Luna looked at Twilight Sparkle. “Shall we have a drink, Twilight?”
“Luna, this isn’t one of the most respected places.” Twilight Sparkle tried to convince Luna.
“I can take all the respect you give me,” said Luna. “Today is my bachelorette party. Can’t you even have a party for me?”
“Let me have the party for you,” said the mare.
“She meant a bachelorette party,” said Twilight Sparkle.
The white mare looked at Twilight Sparkle. “Parties are for all single ponies.”
Luna looked at Twilight Sparkle with a smile. “Come on, Twilight?”
Twilight Sparkle took a few steps back before leaving. “I don’t think so.”
“She’s kind of slow, right?” asked the mare.
“Where is your spirit of adventure?” asked Luna.
The mare approached Luna. “That’s how you talk, Luna.”
The white mare caught Luna by the hooves. “My name is Twinkleshine.”
Twinkleshine led Luna to a table to sit down.
“I think your friend Twilight is a weird mare, isn’t she, Luna?” asked Twinkleshine. “One of you coming here was good.”
Twinkleshine put her hoof on Luna’s back. “So, what do you want?”
“An apple cider, please,” replied Luna.
“Um, cider. If you play well, you’ll take me as a gift,” said Twinkleshine with a smile.
In the background, the stallions were drinking beer. A pale blue mare in a purple starry dress turned.
“A while ago, I don’t remember well. I was alone and without anypony. But I passed now,” Trixie approached where a couple was sitting. “I lived like that, shut up then. Love gives a hundred, my heart. To let no one notice. ”
Trixie began to circle the stallion. “What I want more, and more… and resist I can’t.”
Trixie took the stallion out of her chair as if to kiss him, but let go. “I want… I want somepony naked until sunrise. Come to us so we can play until the end is over. But first, the stallions will stay over us.”
Trixie walked over to where two stallions were sitting. “I have something to invent, what to wear to provoke. Without forgiveness it drives me crazy.”
“And how much they are, I can’t say. I no longer know how to choose. The line will only fill with stallions and mares. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry and Faust says I’ll like it!” sang Trixie.
All the mares, except Luna began to sing. Trixie went to Luna. “I want somepony naked until sunrise. Come to us so we can play until the end is over. But first, they’ll chew us, look on the floor.”
Trixie climbed a table. “The sensation that has no explanation, breath.”
Trixie started dancing to other mares as well. The stallions danced beside her.
“I want somepony naked until sunrise. Come to us so we can play until the end is over. But first, the stallions will stay over us.”
Trixie took off her dress and went to Luna to sing. “We don’t always see somepony like. You have arrived and already lit my fire.”
“I don’t know, my dear. A little more to this place and start distrusting the game. But even so, you’re more… ” sang Luna.
“Speaking like that, it makes me think just do it,” sang Trixie.
Luna was curious. “What will it be?”
“I don’t say,” Trixie sat up straight in the chair. “Do you have a name?”
“Luna.”
“Hello, Luna. Won’t you ask me what I’m doing in a place like this?” asked Trixie.
“Well, actually…”
“Actually, I’m just waiting to get me hired for the opera,” said Trixie. “So today is your lucky night. Play with me.”
Luna took the drink and Trixie tapped both glasses lightly. “He who hides from pain…”
Luna stood up. “I’ve already passed the bill here. And I don’t even know when to stop.”
Trixie stood up. “If you only knew baby, what i capable of you. But if you’re not good enough to play, maybe one day you might come back and meet me again.”
Trixie left, but Luna followed her with a paper and handed it to the unicorn. “It’s late already. Need to go. If you happen to need a friend, I don’t want to offer anything but friendship.”
Luna was about to leave. But Twinkleshine went to Luna.
“Did you like our beautiful Trixie?” asked Twinkleshine. “Come back. She will not disappear. ”
Luna left.
“Dr. Luna, Agle Forty-sixth Street,” Trixie laughed before continuing to walk. But she didn’t notice Celestia go to Trixie.
“Angle Street?” asked Celestia. “Don’t you find it a bit sophisticated for you, honey?”
Trixie looked at Celestia. “Maybe a little less partying and a little more bedding is more lucrative for you, Trixie.”
“We don’t always win them all.”
“Luckily for you, I’m in a great mood today,” said Celestia.
Trixie approached Celestia. “Lucky me.”
“We’ll go to the bedroom and you’ll obey me,” Trixie realized that Celestia was grabbing her and let go. “Who do you think you are?”
Celestia left. Trixie spoke through her teeth. “You only earn by paying.”
Trixie reread what was written on the paper before she started singing. “If by chance you need… a friend.”
