That was when the figure spoke.
“Autumn Blaze? What are you—oh Celestia you must be freezing!”
The Kirin blinked. She didn’t recognize the voice, but it was… familiar?
“Sorry, do I know you?” Autumn asked.
The pony’s horn flowed teal and the hood was pulled over to reveal a mare with pink fur and a coiffed violet mane with a single teal highlight running through it.
“It’s me, Starlight Glimmer? 21st Mage Company? You last performed a revue of My Fair Princess for us.”

“Thank you,” said Autumn, sitting down.

And said nothing, as they slipped into an increasingly awkward silence.
“What… did you mean. By Belle of Equestria?” Autumn asked.
“You didn’t know? That was the nickname the troops gave you,” said Starlight, arching an eyebrow.
Autumn blinked. “Huh, I didn’t really pay much attention to those things. Had to prep the show. It was a one Kirin thing and I needed to do a lot.”

“This is really good. Thank you. What’s your name, sir?” Autumn asked.
“I should hope so. I’m Sunburst, the owner of t-this fine establishment. Your performance tonight was superb by the way,” said the unicorn shyly, adjusting his monocle.

“Sorry, I could have sworn you said your name was Sunburst.”

That was when she spotted a picture in the back, displayed right in front of the less-used bottles. One of Sunburst, grinning in his mage robes, and looking a bit dazed. One hoof draped around his shoulders was an unscarred Starlight.
The photo also had a single red lipstick mark, and Autumn had a pretty good guess as to who those lips belonged to.
“I know Starlight Glimmer, though,” said Autumn slowly, eyeing Sunburst.
Sunburst sighed, and his shoulders sagged. “Ah… well, everything she told you about me is probably true.”
“Actually, she hasn’t said much about you. Mentioned your name once or twice, but otherwise hasn’t said much,” said Autumn, honestly.

One moment, she was casting a beam, next, Sombra was in front of us.” Sunburst clutched the photo to his chest, his eyes screwed shut. “I threw up my shield but I was too slow.
