Chapters Probably when you stopped in Canterlot you had heard stories about small woods near end of the town and the onliest house in that place,haven't you?
And also you had obviously heard about young alchemist who makes many important things to society? Well. These stories are actually true.
My name is Starlight Glimmer and this is my story about how small information about death of the most important person in my life changed my behaviour into worse. But everything needs to be in order. First I need to explain who I am and why I live that far.
Well. Since I ended 14 years old I decided to finally start creating something what might cause changing ponies lives into better.
My mother gave me full lab in the middle of the town. But. The problem is. That I hate noisy places. Like. I really hate. Especially when Fluttershy become princess. I am not sure how had this passed. She isn't alicorn. Plus no one from Canterlot Kingdom had adopted nor born her. Perhaps I could talk to Princess Celestia. I heard once that the real Fluttershy's parents died in accident. So. Who had adopted her if she's now the princess?!
Back to what I said before. Since Fluttershy become princess the town become noisier and now there's so many animals. I nuzzled my raccoon friend. She's just like me. She loves silence,is kinda shy and we both love nature.
"Are you thinking what I am thinking,Bella?"
"We will go tomorrow to the Princess Celestia's castle. That means we gonna visit after those years Canterlot. I am really curious how much had this town changed. But right now. Goodnight. Have nice dreams."
The next morning truly was very warm and sunny. Bella stepped out from her bed and she pushed the button on the wall. The warm coffee filled the cup and mechanic hand took it giving to me. I took a sip of drink sighing.
"Okay. Quick breakfast. And we are going to the Canterlot. Also. Thanks for the coffee,Bella."
"My,my. So. You want to see the Princess?"-asked bacon haired mare. Well. This is Sunset Shimmer. The most annoying mare in whole kingdom in my thought. Even if she is my idol I still think she can sometimes be oddball in some days. Yet who isn't?
"Sunset. Let me in. I promise you that after meeting I will give you my new machine to make you look fabulous for the stallion what you have crush on."
"Really? Okay. Deal is the deal. Come inside."
"Thanks Sunset. You will not regret this!"
"Of course I will not. I mean. Had I ever told you a story where I defeated King Sombra? It was stormy night. On the left side his guards,on the right himself. I was alone but then..."
"Sunset. You told me this story already. I know what happened later. You kicked his ass. I know. And he died."
"Exactly! No one later came on his funeral"
"Well. Nopony in Equestria ever liked him so I am not suprised."
"Well. Of course nopony liked him. Because he murdered... Oh look! Fluttershy is over here!"
"Happy Raccoon Day!'-she annouced happily before she gave happy squeal-"Starlight! Oh my godness! It's been so long since I saw you last time! Tell me how is your life going?!'
"I am trying to solve the problem of hunger and thirst in Equestria. And my machine is almost done."
"That's lovely! You gotta show me one day."
"Well. I will make an exposition soon. Maybe you will come?"
"I would love to. But my royal duties everyday can make my mind really explode. Cadence adopted me along with Princess Celestia knowing that I will grow this town up pretty good."
"That sounds... Hold on. You said that your...?"
"Well yeah. I did. Trust me. If you ever wondered how it's like to be a princess and you ever wanted to become one. I slightly refuse. Because I am not handling this job. And you would go nuts after first day of ruling."
"Right. Is Princess Celestia in castle?"
"Oh godness,no. She and Princess Cadence had left the kingdom for few days. They decided to go to vacations to Las Pegasus. Nothing to worry about."
"Speaking about worrying. How is Rainbow Dash after her wing surgery?"
"Oh soon she will be able to fly. One more week of therapy and she will feel better than ever."
"Right. Fluttershy?"
"Yes,Starlight?"
"If you or Angel will need help. I am always in the woods. Nothing has changed."
"Living in nature,I see."
"Yeah. I do. Anyway. See you next week! I am planning the best gift ever to your birthday."
"Oh Starlight. You didn't forgot that my birthday is next week? That's. Very thoughtful to you."
"I know right? Now. I gotta go. I promised Sunset to give her gift."
"Here it is."
"Gee. I thought that this is gonna to be some kind of potion."
"Be glad that you got something from me. Have nice day,Sunny!"-I said as I stepped into the exit of the castle. Meanwhile Sunset pressed the button as the machine gave her black dress.
"Hmm. Not bad. Looks pretty cool."
Staying for a while in Canterlot...
"Good afternoon,Starlight!"-greeted me Rarity giving me kisses on my check-"You need something?"
"Yeah. You see. Fluttershy is turning 20 next week."
"Oh my godness! Already?! Does Rainbow Dash knows about it?"
"I am afraid she doesn't know Fluttershy is planning big party. That's why I will come for few minutes to Canterlot's Hospital to tell her. After all. She's her mane guard. So about all these events she needs to know.'
"Darling. Why to rush these things so quickly? She will come out from the hospital next week."
"And next week is damn party. Rarity. Rainbow needs to know. I know that you are Fluttershy's tailor,but please. I need really to organize that whole next week."
"I got darling an idea. Maybe stay for a while in my house? Sweetie and I would not mind."
"No,no,Rarity. I will stay in hotel. Thank you for being generous but... I will refuse."
"That's fine,dear. I wish you then luck in big town. Tell me. Aren't you the mare what lives in the woods and also is scientist?"
"Alchemist. Please. Call me alchemist,Rarity.
" Oh. Oh right. Sorry."
" It's fine. Many ponies are calling me like that. But. Scientist makes just machines. Alchemist tests chemicals and then makes machine if they are working. You get the difference?"
" Yes,darling. So. What are you planning to do now?"
"Go to the Canterlot's Hospital and talk with Rainbow Dash. I am sure she will be happy to see me."
"Well. I dunno she will. After this surgery she became very grumpy and tired. I wish you luck with visiting her,dear. I really wish you that."
"Thanks,Rares. But I am sure she will be happy when I will arrive."
"We will see. Have nice day,anyway!"
"Same to you!-I responded and I ran from Rarity's house heading to the hospital to see Rainbow Dash."
"Starlight,hi! I thought it was again doctors to again give me injection. But luckily it's you. It's good to have you back in town,dude. How is your life going?"
"Pretty great. How about yours?"
"Better let's not talk about me. Since last month I almost lost my wing when I dashed to the thief!"
"Who it was?"
"Oh nopony. Probably another Sunset's friend. Clarissa Bayer. You know her? She's big bitch. She always had appetite for me. I was always her victim. And guess what. Execution of her will become tomorrow so she will never try to kill anypony else anymore."
" And since you are my friend you will take VIP place. Sunset will take another VIP. But for her VIP means-Very Important Pig."
"Harsh too much?"
"Oh I had never been harsh. She started it and that's because I am Fluttershy's mane guard. Trying to kill or killing me will end in execution. I am sure you would never do something like that. I mean. You are awesome pony!"
"That's the spirit"-I spoke sweating nervously. Damn. She's so fucking hot when she motivates me! I felt like I was dripping wet. Fuck. Not again. Rainbow sniffed the candy smell what had just filled the room.
"Are you in heat?"
"No. I mean. Yeah. But not because of your talk!"
"Somepony has a crush on me~"
"RAINBOW DASH! It's not like that!"
"Miss Dash. Your afternoon injection is coming right now. So you can't have guest right now and"-He sniffed the heat smell-"What had you two been doing?"
"I guess I will just go. Thanks Rainbow! I will come to your enemy execution tomorrow!"
So like I had been saying. The Alchemic Bakery is my favourite restaurant ever made in Canterlot. Wanna know why? They serve my favourite dish. In normal restaurant it might name ,,Mac and Cheese". But not here. Here it names ,,Cheese Paradise". And honestly when I come here Ms Cake already knows what I want. Plus whiskey with peach juice! Speaking about alcohol. I am not sure I would drink it today. I don't want to have hangover on tomorrow's execution. Probably I would order just beer with honey. When I came inside the restaurant I saw pink mare with pink,wavy hair bouncing everywhere.
"Welcome to the Alchemic Bakery! What can I help you?"
"You are that Pinkie Pie what had been everypony talking about since last week?"
"Yeah! And you are obviously that young alchemist? I love your machines! How are they this cool?!"
"It's easy. You are testing chemicals. And if you will find out wich one is the best you are using some fantasy. I would like to order..."
"I have everyponies favourite food!"-she took out the piece of paper and she read it aloud-"Name: Starlight Glimmer,Favourite food and drink here: Cheese Paradise plus whiskey with peach juice."
"Not today whiskey. My friend's enemy has tomorrow execution and I don't want to have hangover. You know. Headache. Everything feels like you would fucking kill somepony. Also you are vomiting very hard."
"I know,silly! I am actually today on hangover. But I came to the job. I always drink after job. But I don't have anypony with I can drink. Actually I am almost closing this restaurant so we can stay together. Just me. You. And this beer with honey."
"Damn. You know how to avoid awful hangover,don't you?"
"Well of course I do,Glimmy! That's why Ms Cake employed me. I am heading out right now to the kitchen and I will make Mac and Cheese and prepare some alcohol. Take your time!"
"Well of course I will. Thanks!"
"You're welcome!"
"Never. Drink. Beer while eating Mac and Cheese again."
"Mmm. First time trying this mix?"
"I swear to Princess I will tell Sunset that she had been fucking joking about mixing Mac and Cheese with beer. It tastes disgusting! Like. Who would drink something like that?"
"Apparently. I do. It's yummy!"
"Pinkie. You told me this will not give me hangover! And what this got me?! I will probably be sick. My friend's enemy have execution at tomorrow's morning."
"I hate executions. Like. Who the fuck made these things? I rather would want instead of death to have few guys rape me. And that would been much more interesting punishment than cutting head or other stuffs."
"Tell that to princess. I mean. Not Fluttershy. But Rainbow Dash and Sunset."
"That was their idea?! You are not fucking serious!"
"You know. I will go. I feel really sick. But one more thing. Who is making buffet for Fluttershy's birthday?"
"Applejack of course!"
"Thanks Pinkie. Ms Cake will not yell at you for drinking at your job?"
"Nah. She got already used to this. Goodnight,Starlight!"

The next morning was sure an ass to me. My head was hurting and I felt like my head might explode in any second. I silently moaned as I looked around the room.
"Wait. How had I ended in hotel room?"
"Knock,knock,darling!"-spoke Rarity in maid outfit coming to my room-"I heard Pinkie made you sure drunk. Uh. Ignore my outfit. I am maid at this hotel on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The other five days I am Fluttershy's tailor."
"Okay. Wait. You are coming to that execution too?"
"Well yes,yes,yes. Just I need to clean this room. Derpy didn't expected you to come in the middle of the night. Something happened?"
"I told Rainbow Dash yesterday that I am in heat. The whole hospital heard it."
"That's terrible! If you were horny I would give you free room and some interesting things in my box."
"No thanks. I am not anymore horny. I am right now on very terrible hangover. How after one beer. I can have this damn hangover?"
"Oh you don't know? Pinkie adds more alcohol to beer. She probably added to your drink something what made you drunk. Now enough sadness,dear. I am sure seeing somepony who done terrible criminal act getting deserved punishment will cheer you up."
"Thanks Rares."
"Oh no problem,darling! Now let's go!"
"I thought you were going to clean the room."
"I will do this later,dear. It's been so long since anypony got public execution! This is so exciting."
"Truly it does. I can't lie."
The white pegasus with black hair were tied up to the table squirming with fear in her eyes. Rainbow Dash come to her with evil grin.
"Clarissa Bayer. Age 26. Do you know what had you done?"
"Well. Duh! I had shooted you at the wing! So what?"
"The list of your acts are much longer. I am gonna read it right now"-she cleared her throat-"Stabbing me,poisoning me,throw the chemical at me. Do you know how hard is to have still burned wing from that? Good that the doctors cured it so I have just a scar. Right now I will take revenge. Enjoying every single moment of your suffering."
"Rainbow Dash,please! I am sorry! Please don't kill me!"
"Your screaming making me happier."
"What should I do now?!"
"I am proposing to stab her just like she done that to you!"
"Good idea!"
"So. What kind of execution is that?"-she stared at the crying mare with guts outside with disgust-"Ohhh. Yeah. Disgusting. Like I was saying. I rather would want guys to rape me instead of killing me."
"Still it's fun."-spoke Rarity with happiness in her eyes. Meanwhile Fluttershy flied to Rainbow.
"Oh no. Really? What this time happend that this mare need to suffer?"
"She nearly killed me,Fluttershy! So I will kill her now."
"Okay. Rules are rules. Maybe I will give you instructions what to do next?"
"Nah. I will do this alone. See this blood? Guts? I am doing already hella good job!"
"I was afraid to say it but..."-the last part of her sentence was louder-"Out with her head!"
"You will kill Sunset's best friend,you know?"
"Since when you were her friend?"-teased her Rainbow Dash as she cutted the rope.
"Since that last..."
"It's okay. She's dead. Execution is over."
"Yeah. I know. But. She mentioned something that she was your friend."
"That's correct. She was. But later during that fight with King Sombra our patches had changed. She decided to be that evil one. Meanwhile I wanted to fight with the evil. And today. We defeated my ex friend."
"It's alright everypony. After her crime she deserved proper punishment. But. Death is natural."-spoke Fluttershy tooking mare's dead body to the fire. And burning it. Meanwhile Pinkie stared at me trying to take my mind off of seeing that view of blood and guts.
"Sooo. You saw Applejack around?"
"No. I didn't. But I will see her today."
"Good option. She will be today in the castle so there will be very big chance you will see her."
"Thanks Pinkie. So. We will see later?"
"You want again to drink?"
"Not today. Maybe next week."
"Okie dokie lokie!"-she gave me cute grin as she walked away. I let out the sigh and I ran to the castle to Applejack.
"Sorry but Ah don' accept guest today."
"Applejack,please. That will be quick."
"Applejack said. We don't accept any guests today."
"Pie Hater,chill out. Is that pissing you off the fact you need to make a pie?"-I teased this mare. Obviously I shouldn't. She is also guard so I would need to watch my mouth next time. The demon pony hissed at me.
"Ha,ha. Very funny,Miss Alchemist. Should I inform Fluttershy that you are pissing me off? I am reminding you about Clarissa Bayer. Speaking about that. How was this execution anywho?"
"It was okay,I guess. She died. Rainbow cutted her all guts,her head got thrown away and in the end. She got burned."
"Ouch. Well. We are working our asses off making the food to Fluttershy's birthday. I would destroy pies. But I don't want to get suspended for few days again. If you know what I am talking about."
I remembered very well this hilarious moment. Fluttershy's 19 Birthday last year. Pie Hater Dash was soooo pissed off because no one told her how long this pie needed to be baked. She destroyed the whole cake with her lasers. This got ended in one week suspension by Fluttershy from her castle. Pie Hater felt sad. But you know what? That gal needs really to go to some yoga. Or meditate. Either way Applejack gave me caramel apple with smile on her face.
"Here. Help yarself. Ah know this is for the guests. But. That one is taste test. And because ya are here we would like ya to test it."
"Paper in the food? Good,old joke. Is that like the cookies with information about future?"
"Eeeeyup."
"That is great! I will take this paper home and read it and later hold it to have better future. My mother will visit my lab tomorrow and obviously she will be proud of me."
"Well. The problem is..."-Pie Hater started but Applejack covered her mouth.
"Well Pie Hater meant that the problem is... That yar mother... Is completely fine and she will come back very soon from her journey. That problem is that her road to home is taking so long. But she still love ya."

"Being honest in Dark Ponyville alleys and destroying pies. Good old times before I became guard"

"Okaaaay. So. What did you got exactly in this piece of paper?"-asked Rarity sitting on the bed.
"Applejack told me this is from Fluttershy letter! I wonder what is that! Maybe I need something to prepare?"
"Or. Fluttershy wants to have second princess and she wants you."
"That's ridiculous"-I laughed-"I didn't and I will not want to be the princess. It is very big problems to worry about. And no free time for doing things what you love the most. That is just nuts."
"Can I read this letter?"-asked me Rarity. I chuckled:
"Uh. Sure! Go for it!"
"Oh dear."
"What happened?"
"Uhhhh. Just like I thought. Fluttershy needs second princess"
"Really? Give it to me."
"Oh no,no,darling. It's big suprise. Coronation is tomorrow and uh..."
"That's ridiculous!"-I spoke staring at Rarity-"Everypony are busy with preparing to Fluttershy's birthday next week and right now finishing burning Clarissa Bayer's corpses. Rarity. You are lying. Give it to me."
"Today happened tragic situation near Fillydelphia. M.Glimmer got brutally murdered by... "
"Look,Starlight. I told you that would not been the best moment to show you this"
"Leave me alone"-I sniffed as I begun to sob quietly.
"Starlight..."
"I said. Leave me alone. I need right now to be alone. Somepony murdered my mom! The closest person in my family! The only alive member what I had knew! Right now. I am fucking orphan!"
"Starlight look. It's gonna be okay."
"Starlight. Drinking isn't the best option. You need to accept the fate. Find out the murderer,talk with Rainbow Dash to give that pony execution."
"What?! Your mom got murdered?!"-asked Pinkie giving me second shot of whiskey-"That's terrible! Who did that?!"

"Starlight. I know this letter. Rarity told me about this today and I got worried. Go to Zecora. She knows everything what you will need to find that pony who done such awful thing to your mother"

"You can read letters by the sign. Right?"-asked Pinkie. Twilight nodded and she got my letter.
"Let's see. The first letters doesn't make sense. But if you will get Fillydelphia and situation . It becomes much clearer who is that. It can be everypony in the castle. Even princess. So have eyes wide open. Have nice night!"
"Thank you!-spoke Pinkie. My eyes go wide as I stare in anger.
"And? That's all?! No more clues?!"
"Starlight. You are alchemist. You can find out who is lying"
"Feeling better?"-asked Pie Hater Dash coming to my room. I opened my eyes and I sit on the bed yanking.
"Never better."
"Look. I feel sorry for what happend. But chill out. You can join me and AJ! At baking. Or. Just me,Sunset,Bon Bon,Trixie,Tempest Shadow and Lyra in being just guard"
"No thanks. Thanks by some sleep I finally accepted what happened."
"If you will change your mind. I will be today in the castle with few other ponies"
"Thanks Pie Hater. Speaking about ponies.."

"Do you know anypony who murdered my mom?"
"Honestly no. But try to visit Twilight. She reads letters in special way."

"Fluttershy told me that I need to take care of Starlight."

I stared at the machine what was printing answers and the picture of the pony who did the crime. Hour by hour. I was becoming more and more insane. Bella hidded from fear under the table whimpering.
"It's okay,Bella. As soon as this pony will get printed. I will kill this guy. And hang his dead body here!"
"What? This pony deserves proper punishment. You know what they did?! They killed my mom! The closest person in my family,damnit! I'll tell you something. If my mom could had been still alive. I would right now spend with her time instead of analysing! I mean. This is the worst week ever! I told the whole hospital that I am in heat,my mother died. And... They will pay for that."

"Happy Moon and Sun Day!"-annouced Fluttershy by the megaphone. I fell out of the chair screaming. The whole night I spended analysing this picture and letter very closely. I letted out a sigh.
"This sucks. I don't trust anypony anymore. And no. It's not my fault. It's her fault. Let's see. Today is Monday. So her birthday is in two days! Perfect!"
"I know,right?!"-giggled Fluttershy flying to me. I screamed.
"How did you... Found me?!"
"Rarity told me you left the hotel room on yesterday's afternoon. Something wrong?"
"It's just. You know. My mother..."
"There,there,Starlight. It's gonna be okay. Like I said. Death is natural. We can't help it. Everypony everyday are getting born. And everypony everyday are dying. That's the natural cycle"
"Yeah. As well as murdering"-I murmured. Fluttershy gave me suprised look.
"Pardon?"
"I said that many innocent ponies are getting murdered also everyday. And nopony knows who killed even the closest person in the family."
"Starlight! Why to be angry at everypony?! You don't know who made it!"
"Starlight. I am making a promise. That obviously mane therapy will bring your mother alive."
"So you know where my mother is? Interesting."
"The whole kingdom knows. It's not a suprise anymore."
"Fluttershy. You saw the beautiful flowers near my house?"
"You planted some? I didn't noticed that!"
"I did. Chally. Small modification between the most beautiful flowers in this world. Becoming the one and only perfection."

"Don't you see that I am busy? Ask your girlfriend-Sunset."-I blurted. Fluttershy stared at me worried.

"Well. Except that thing with my mother? No! Why you are asking?!"
"Trixie with Bon Bon are searching for your mother to take her to autopsy to see what was the murder reason. So. When we will got information about it. I will tell you"
"I'm sorry,Princess. But the tests says opposite."
"So you know already the murder reason? Great! Bye!"
"Time for another visit in Canterlot,Bella. This time. We are staying untill the main killer's punishment ending"
"Sunset. Can I ask you something?"

When I opened my eyes I was in white room. I wiped my eyes thinking what is going on. Sunset walked to me saying:

I never felt that tired in my entire life. I fell asleep somewhere around 2 AM. I don't remember exactly. This night also I got insane nightmare. But. It was different.
