Demise of the King

When they got him inside the pony said “put him on the table, over there” he pointed to a medical table. They carried him to the table and gently set him down as he continued to moan in pain. The pony went into another room for a few minutes and returned in a doctor’s coat with a face mask. “Alright, please stand back so I may fix his wounds” the pony said as he approached the table. The 3 ponies gave him some space as they watched him work on scene. The pony reached under the table and pulled out a large medical bag and began removing a lot of medical equipment, laying it down on the tray next to him.

Before he even began fluttershy bursted into tears and covered her eyes. The pony started by grabbing a needle, probably full of some kind of pain killer “you’re going to feel a slight pinch” he then injected scene with the liquid. Scene recoiled in pain, but then relaxed and completely stopped moving. “Don’t worry everypony I just put him to sleep, it will make the procedure easier and he won’t feel a thing. Hmmmmmmm you there” he pointed at shadow “help me while I operate.” Shadow trotted over next to the pony and awaited further instructions.

“Hmmmmmm his injuries are worse than I thought” the pony examined scene’s wounds. “Alright hand me the scalpel please” shadow passed him the scalpel. He took the scalpel and proceeded to cut into scene’s flesh. “Tweezers” shadow passed him the tweezers “if he was shot by a magic laser, then why are you cutting into him?” shadow was curious. “That was no normal laser my dear pegasus, that was a poison bolt” he then removed a large green crystal like object from scene’s body. “Hold that jar please” shadow brought the jar over close to the pony, he released the glowing object from the grip of the tweezers and into the jar. “Alright, now I just need to clean the wound and give him the cure juice and he’ll be fine.” He then proceeded to clean scene’s open cut and his other various wounds, then searched his bag for the cure juice.

“Hmmmmmmm where is it? It should be here. Damn it, it’s gone” he was furious he couldn’t find what he was looking for. “Without the cure juice your friend will be dead by tomorrow” he broke the bad news to the group. He then trotted over to a beat up looking fridge and opened the rusty door. “Oh wait here we go” he then removed a carton of OJ from the fridge. “Orange juice?!?! The cure juice is orange juice??” rainbow dash thought it was a joke. “Yep, OJ is the cure juice” the doctor reassured her. He proceeded back over to the table and poured some of the OJ on scene’s wound and wrapped him up in a bandage. “Alright there we go, he’ll be just fine” he removed his mask “I do recommend that he rests for a while and shouldn’t get into any serious combat for a while either. While you wait for him to heal, let me show you ponies around” he offered. “Alright, by the way I didn’t catch your name, what was it?” shadow asked “oh, my name is bone saw” “Cool, I’m dark soul shadow, this is my mare rainbow dash, that’s fluttershy and that’s her stallion prince dark scene” shadow introduced everypony. “Ah, well nice to meet you all. Well come on let me show you ponies around” bone saw urged them to go with him. “You guys can go, I’m going to stay here with scene…..if that isn’t too much to ask” fluttershy trotted over to the table where her stallion laid and began stroking his mane softly. “No, nonsense of course you can stay” bone saw replied, he then led the 3 ponies out of the hut and back out into the wastes.
