Spiders and Darkness: The Friendship Games

Two Days Later....

Back at home, Ishi removes his ordinary red and black shirt and heads to his closet. He opens the door to find two things. His spider suit and his tuxedo that he rented. He grabs the tux and starts putting it on and closes the closet door. As soon as he put the white shirt on, his mother, Misako, walks in as he was struggling to get the tie on.

"Need help, deer" Misako asks her son.

"Yeah...please, Mom" Ishi replies.

Misako helps to help Ishi with the tie.

"You look so handsome, just like your father. Can't believe my baby boy's going to prom"!

"Yeah..it's not much".

"Not much?! When I was your age, I didn't go to prom. Prom wasn't even invented where I was from".

"Really? You never told me about your past. What was it like"?

"Well...I use to live in a place called Union Cross or X as the name was called. There were five unions. I lived in the Vulpes union. And that is where I met your father. But something happened....our queen and savior, Ava said that a war was coming and convinced all of us to go into hiding. I fled with your father and here we are. But enough about me. Tonight is all about you. I'll be your chauffeur for tonight".

"Wait!...whatever happend to Ava"?

"Nobody knows. Some say she died while proteting her union while others say she's still alive".

Ishi thinks about it pretty hard. What DID happen to this "Ava"? He's gonna have to do some research.

"Hey, did you hear me"? Misako asks.

"Huh? What"? Ishi snaps out of it.

"I said you should probably bring your bass. Never know when you need to play some music for the crowd".

"Hmmm...good point".

Ishi grabs his bass.

"So. Are you ready to go, Ishimaru"?

"Y-yeah. Let's go"!

They make it to Crystal Prep with their car. Once Ishi exits the car, he finds his date waiting for him.

Ishi stares in awe.

"You look beautiful, Isabelle".

She blushes and says "Thanks. You, too".

Ishi pulls out his hand.

"Shall we"? Ishi asks his date.

Isabelle nods and holds his hand.

Misako smiles but that smiles fades when she looks at something in the distance.

"You kids go have fun. I have to go...run a few errands" Misako said.

"Ok, Mom" Ishi replied.

Misako goes back into the car and drives off with a serious look on her face.

"Well....let's go inside" Ishi said in confusion.

Once they reach inside, they are greeted with their friends, Sayori and Twilight.

"Hi guys"! Twilight said.

"I'm glad you guys made it"! Sayori added.

"Yeah, had to do the usual. Add the rose on her wrist and so on" Ishi explained. "So who are your dates"?

"Mine is Itzuku" sayori answered.

"Mine is...Richard Osborne" Twilight also answered.

"The rich jerk" Ishi asked. "Why him"?

"Cause nobody else would ask me out".

"That's kinda harsh".

"But anyway, let's PARTY"!!! Sayori shouted.

Thirty Minutes were in and it was time for slow dancing. Ishi and Isabelle began to slow dance with something on Ishi's mind. He's been having these weird thought latley. Back then, he started to have a crush on Twilight but he was an expert at hiding it. So to make her feel jealous, he has Isabelle be his pretend-girlfriend. But today, something was up.....was he developing feelings for Isabelle? He looks into her eyes and realizes....yes...yes he does.

"H-Hey Isabelle" Ishi said.

"Yeah. Ishi"? Isabelle asks. "What's wrong"?

"Well....I've been thinking about this whole pretend dating thing....I don't think this is gonna work out".

"Huh?...are you...pretend breaking up with me"?

"Well....yes and no....I don't want to pretend anymore".

Ishi places his hand on Isabelle's cheek.

"Wanna make this a real thing"?

"Ishi...I......I don't know what to say"..

"All I want is either a yes or no. That's all".

"Ishi.......I-Mph!"

Before Isabelle could say anything else, Ishi presses his lips against Isabelle's. She was shocked for a second but soon closes her eyes and begins to kiss back. She places her hand on the back of Ishi's head, drinking him in.

They both depart from the kiss with both of their faces turning red.

"So...is this...an official thing now"? Ishi asks.

"...Yeah...I think so" Isabelle answers.

They both smile as they kiss again. But in the middle of the kiss, Ishi's spider sense goes off and he tackles Isabelle and an explosion goes off. Everyone ducks from the explosion. Ishi gets up to see a strange woman in a weird mechanized vulture-like suit.

"Where is Prinicpal Cinch"?! the woman demanded

She searches across the room to see that Principal Cinch is hiding. She gets angry and charges at Cinch, grabbing her with her claws on her feet.

"What are you doing?! Let go of me you hooligan"! Principal Cinch demanded.

"I'm no hoolgian! I'm the Condor!!! And it's payback time, Cinch"! The woman known as the Condor shouted.

"Wait...that voice.....Lightning Dust"?!?!

"I told you, MY NAME IS THE CONDOR"!!!

She begins to fly away with Cinch in her claws. Everyone in the school begins to panic while Ishi begins to run off.

"Wait, Ishi! Where are you going" Isabelle said, grabbing his hand.

"To look for Funnel Web. He'll stop her" Ishi ansered.

"Should we let the police handle this"? Twilight asked

"You wanna let the police take care of a flyig bird-like supervillain"?

"good point".

Ishi yanks his hand out of Isabelle's and runs out of the school.

"Be careful, Ishi" Sayori said with a concerned look on her face.
