Princess Luna entered Friendship Castle, as a request from her sister to meet with Princess Twilight Sparkle, mostly to check up on her and talk about what has been happening with her recently. She roamed the halls, hearing no noise aside from her own hoofsteps until she heard some faint anguish from far down the hall she was in. She sped up her pace slightly and heard the voice to be familiar.

“Mommy, mommy, wake up!” She heard, the voice clearly being her sister’s, but the words confusing her. Nevertheless, she sped up to nearly a gallop pace as she approached the the open door to the room she remembered to be Twilight’s private quarters. ‘Please wake up, mommy!” The voice called again, sadness being discernable in it now, though the reason why her sister of all ponies would be crying about her mother still perplexed her.

When she arrived at the open door and saw the situation inside, she only got part of an answer. She saw her sister crying over the seemingly unconscious body of Twilight Sparkle and shaking her, trying to wake her up.

“’Tia?” Luna called, still concerned as to why her sister was acting so foalish.

Celestia looked up from the lilac alicorn and saw her sister at the door. “Lulu!” She cried, running over to the other mare and hugging her while she kept crying. “Help mommy! She won’t wake up!”

“Mommy?” The blue princess asked, somewhat confused as to what was happening.

“Yes, mommy Twilight! She won’t wake up!” The white pony cried out in anguish.

Luna looked at her sister in surprise as she understood what was happening, at least on some level. She pulled the other mare off of her carefully to allow her to move, then trotted over to the purple-maned princess. She held a hoof to her neck and lightly pressed, checking for a pulse.

When she felt Twilight’s heart beating normally, she pulled her hoof back and said, “Twilight is just uncon-” She cut herself off, realizing that if her sister was truly foal-minded right now, she probably wouldn’t understand that word. “Er, asleep,” She finished.

“Oh... well why isn’t she waking up?” Celestia asked, only a little relieved at the answer as she resumed hugging her sister.

“Ehm,” The night princess paused a moment to think of a good response, “She’s just really tired, ‘Tia. I don’t think thee should wake her, she probably needs the sleep.”

“Oh... okay,” The other mare replied in relief, her tears slowly coming to a stop.

Luna then kissed her sister on her cheek to comfort her, to which a light gasp of surprise was returned.

“What was that?” Celestia asked conspiratorially, vexed by the action.

“What was what?” The other princess asked, confused as to the change of tone.

“What you just did to me; what was that?” The white pony explained.

“Ah, that...” Luna started, amused by her sister’s confusion to seemingly everything, “We hath kissed thee.”

Her sister pulled back and looked at her in confusion, squinting her eyes and cocking her head slightly. “’We’?”

“Er, I,” The blue alicorn corrected, before elaborating, “Mine language is slightly different to thine own.”

“Why?”

“Ehh...” The other mare paused to think. “We were... asleep... for a very long time,” She fibbed to protect her sister’s newfound innocence.

“How long?” Celestia pressed, confused as to what she meant.

Luna inhaled deeply and contemplated the consequences of telling her the truth, answering, “A thousand years.”

The sun princess’ jaw dropped as she stared at her sister in shock. “A- wha- A thousand years!?” She yelled, aghast at the idea.

“Yes,” Her sister confirmed lamentingly, “It was because of another entity inside mineself whom also forces Us to reference Ourselves in plurality.”

“She sounds like such a meanie!” The white mare responded in affront.

“Yes... she truly is,” Luna said, resuming their hug once more.

Celestia kissed her sister on the cheek and gave into the hug, which lasted a few minutes where the sisters lightly cried into the other in lament of those dark times.

“Umm...” The solar princess eventually started, “About the kiss...”

“Hm?” Luna asked, pulling away slightly to look her sister in the eyes.

“I thought ponies were supposed to kiss each other on the lips...” The other mare replied, slightly retreating in embarrassment.

The blue alicorn blushed lightly from that, responding, “Well, we mustn’t have to... It’s just mostly for ponies that love each other very much...”

“Wouldn’t we love each other very much?” Celestia asked cautiously.

“Y-yes, I suppose, but-”

“But what?” The other princess interjected. “Lulu, can’t we kiss?” She pleaded, wearing an adorable set of puppy-dog eyes.

Luna took pause at that, closing her eyes and breathing deeply for a couple seconds. “I... I suppose we can...” She finally answered.

The white alicorn smiled brightly at the response, then stood still to allow her sister to kiss her. The sister in question smiled a bit at the other pony’s happiness before calming herself and slowly moving her head forward towards her sister’s. Their muzzles eventually met in a kiss, lightly pressing into each other to start with, but quickly became stronger as the sisters closed their eyes and shoved their mouths upon the other’s.

Celestia eventually started to press her tongue on her sister’s lips, which took little time to part and allow the princesses’ tongues to entangle and wrestle with each other in the joining of their muzzles. The passionate kissing pulled their senses to focus on only the other, so much so that they didn’t notice the purple and green dragon walking in.

When Spike walked in to check on Twilight after her meeting with Celestia and Luna, he instead found the two sister princesses making out messily with his quasi-sister laying on the ground nearby, unconscious. The shock and bewilderment showed on his face for several seconds as he took in the sight, but the emotions eventually got the better of his consciousness and he fell to the floor.

The resounding ‘thud’ when the dragon smacked against the floor was loud enough to pull the sisters to their senses of the outside world, making them halt their movements and stare at the other in surprise and fear. They then slowly pulled away from each other and looked over to where the sound came from. When they were standing on their own and saw the dragon, Luna sighed in light disappointment and frustration.

“Who is that, Lulu?” The solar princess asked, somewhat confused. “And why do they look so weird?”

“That is Spike,” The other mare replied calmly, “He is one of Twilight’s friends, and also is not a pony.”

“What?” Celestia asked, baffled by the prospect of a non-pony.

“He is a dragon, ‘Tia,” The blue alicorn responded, walking over to Spike and pressing a hoof against his neck. “He is also asleep, and the sound that hath disrupted us was his impact against the floor,” She added after a moment, pulling her hoof away and looking towards her sister.

The white pony paused a moment to understand what was said, and responded in a partially scared tone, “Why does everypony fall asleep around us?”

“The surprise Twilight and Spike felt when encountering you in your... abnormal state overwhelmed their minds and made them fall asleep, We imagine,” Luna calmly explained.

“A-abnormal?” The other alicorn said, now rather scared as to what was happening to her.

“Yes,” The blue mare replied, trying to comfort her sister, “When We stumbled across thee crying atop thine mother, We were also surprised as to thine abnormal state, but,” She sighed and paused for a second, attempting to find a good way to phrase the following statement, “Rest assured, We shall not judge thee for thine abnormality, nor shall we allow anypony else to act their judgement upon thee.”

“Oh,” Celestia sighed in relief, even if she didn’t fully understand what abnormality she was speaking of. “Thank you, Lulu,” She finished as she hugged her sister again.

“However...”

“Hm?” The white princess squeaked in light fear as she looked up at her sister’s face.

“We must meet with some ponies to discuss this abnormality and allow them to take care of you,” Luna started, pausing again in thought, “Because We are rather sure Twilight will take some time to get used to this state and is not the best pony to take care of somepony in this state,” She explained, making the foalish mare she was hugging shiver slightly in fear. “Do not worry, ‘Tia. We shall only tell few ponies, all of which We believe shall take your abnormality well.” She comforted.

“Oh, thanks Lulu,” Celestia replied with relief, even if a little confused by it all. “Um, who will you tell?” She asked.

“Oh, ah...” The blue alicorn stopped for a minute to think about who she thought fit to tell this about. “Fluttershy is quiet and calm, she’ll obviously work,” She reasoned. “Rarity is rather alright as well, Applejack We doubt would be able to spill such a secret, Rainbow Dash would likely laugh at this, so perhaps not... And Pinkie Pie,” She grimaced slightly, “While We doubt she would tell others, she make take some work to control.”

“We shall start with Fluttershy,” Luna finally said, pulling away from her sister. “Follow Us,” She added as she started to the door, her sister frantically following in her hoofsteps.
