Amalgamation

"Hmmm..." Discord hummed to himself as he stared out at the horizon. The sun was high in the sky, a gentle warmth coating the world. A pleasant breeze spread throughout the valley, carrying with it the scent of spring. Birds chirped and sung as Discord sat outside Fluttershy's cottage. Discord had been sitting in a little brown rocking chair for hours now, Fluttershy having left to go to some royal party or whatever. Discord couldn't care less about pony parties... His body seemed to grow in size, his body uncoiling from its resting state as he grew, as a no good grin spread across his face. Now, crashing a royal party would be great! His body deflated as his mind drifted back to Fluttershy, coiling tightly back up, his chin resting on the arm of the chair.

A brilliant green flash swept throughout the continent, spreading from ocean to tundra, as a crack appeared in time, space, and cosmos. "Well, that's certainly not boring..." Was discord's response. A comet flew forth from the crack, trailing a megalithic expulsion of chaos magic. Dark magic seeked out the comet, a black tendril of magic grabbing onto the frozen orb. A brilliant burst of magic flung forth from the very top of Canterlot, a expanding orb of magic covering the entire planet and pushing the dark magic back through the crack. Discord snapped his fingers, mending the hole in reality as he drank a glass of chocolate milk. The comet was released as the tendril of magic was expelled, plummeting to the ground with unknowable force.

"Hmmm... Might as well make sure whatever that is survives..." Discord thought to himself, glancing at the reader with a grumble before turning back to the comet and slowing its descent. The comet absolutely reeked of chaos magic. And something else, but Discord didn't want to spoil the mystery.

And finally, Discord simply wished the thing good luck, hoping it cause some mischief along the way.
