Sunset frowned “I believe someone is eavesdropping on us, I can sense their energy nearby.” She turned to the tree which the bald kid was hiding behind, she shouted “Stop hiding! I can sense your energy from here!”

The bald kid emerged, Roshi walked over to the boy “I am Master Roshi. What are you doing here on my island.”

The boy bowed “Master Roshi, I am Krillin from a far village to the east and I have come all this way to receive your training.”

Roshi frowned “I already have two students, both who have been taught a great deal by one of my former students. Are you sure you won’t slow them down if I take you on?”

Krillin boasted “I spent eight years studying at Oorin Temple.”

Roshi sighed “At least you know the basics, still that is not enough to keep up with my other students.”

Sunset interjected “Goku and I will help bring him up to muster, it would be a waste to send him home after he came all this way by himself.”

Roshi nodded “Very well, still it is getting late we will begin his training tomorrow.”

As the group of four returned to the house, Krillin asked “You seem very different than the rumours. Many of them say that you are a perverted old man with no respect for boundaries.”

Sunset raised an eyebrow, Roshi chuckled “That’s what I am like normally.” He then got serious “I have two students with a great amount of talent that were taught by a former student. I must take that seriously.”

The next morning, Roshi was awoken by his alarm. He got dressed quickly and headed downstairs. He saw Sunset and Goku in their weighted clothes were alert, ready for training while Krillin seemed to be half asleep. Sunset and Goku bowed “Master Roshi, we are ready for training!”

Roshi frowned “For now we are going for a light jog. This will be the warm up.” He then shouted “Krillin, wake up!” The bald boy jumped before bowing, the group of four jogged out the door. Sunset was neck and neck with Roshi, Goku not far behind with Krillin at the back.

They soon stopped in front of what appeared to be a milk store, a bull was carrying out three boxes of milk. Roshi nodded to him “We’ll make sure they end up where they need to go.”

The Bull showed him the map, by the time he had figured out the route Sunset and Goku had already picked up a box. Krillin shouted “We’re delivering milk on foot!”

The bull gestured to the helicopter “You aren't actually going to run are you! We have a helicopter!”

Roshi waved his hand “That would not be training” he then turned to the group “We’ll skip the whole two kilometres to the first house.” Roshi hummed, both Sunset and Goku moving at impressive speed with Krillin far behind them.

They soon arrived at the first house, dropping off the milk. They then zigzagged past trees either side of a long path. Roshi frowned as Krillin arrived there last “You were too slow, you risk the milk going bad.”

He then pointed to the mountain next to them “The next person is at the top.” Krillin’s jaw dropped while Sunset and Goku grinned, they accelerated up the stairs arrived at the same time Roshi did.

Once Krillin had arrived and they put the milk in the box, an elderly monk stepped out with a smile “Thank you very much.”

Sunset and Goku bowed “Good Morning, it is a pleasure to meet you.”

The monk smiled “It is a pleasure to meet you two” he then turned to Roshi “Training I see. It has been a while, Master Roshi.”

Roshi nodded “It has been, two of them are Gohan’s family and trained under him. The bald one on other hand came a long way to get here, I’m worried he will hold the other two back.”

The Monk frowned “I hope not, still I’m sure with you pushing him he will achieve great things.”

Roshi nodded “Still if they all work hard, I believe they should enter the tournament in eight months. It will mean they get to meet other strong fighters.”

The Monk smiled “I see, you mean the Tenkaichi Budoukai.”

Krillin shouted “THE TENKAICHI BUDOUKAI!”

Goku frowned “We lived in the forest, could you please explain what the Tenkaichi Budoukai is?”

Roshi nodded “It is where the greatest of Martial Arts masters go to test either themselves or their students. It is considered a great honour to fight in the tournament, for now though all of you” he then turned to Krillin “especially you.”

The monk nodded “Well I’ll leave you to your training.”

Roshi bowed “Thank you.” Roshi then turned to the group “We’re not done yet.” They cross a wooden log, Roshi waved his hand as they do so “Balance is important for everything I will teach you.” Krillin was the only one who struggled with the task, they then crossed through a sandy area and finally a raging river.

Sunset and Goku were not even fazed, Krillin was panting. Roshi frowned as he handed Krillin several pieces of paper “I really need to train the others, this is your training regimen. If you don’t take it seriously then you will be incapable of entering the Tenkaichi Budoukai.” He then tossed him a twenty kilogram turtle shell “You need this.”

Krillin frowned “Why do I have to do this?”

Roshi touched a massive boulder “When you can push this then you can train with Me, Sunset and Goku.” Krillin's jaw dropped as Goku pushed the boulder with one hand.

Krillin watched them fighting as he tilled the fields barehanded, then as he sat down to a table to do the worksheets he was provided he saw them mediating together. When Krillin finally finished all of his task, he was covered in bee stings and was laying on the ground. Roshi frowned (I really should have stuck with two.)

I hope this chapter isn't too rushed, Krillin isn't that tough and thus is quite far behind.
