Celestia yawns. She prods a Luna currently dreamwalking. "Come on sis, time to rotate our bodies!" She takes a moment to think about the phrasing. "Our celestial bodies! Wait…"

"Yeah yeah," Luna says, grumbling. Even a week after that day, she is acting down. She suddenly moves her hooves to her ears as Celestia pulls back a curtain. "Hngh…"

"Oh come on! Don't be so dramatic!" Noticing that something is off, Celestia approaches her cowering sister. "Luna?" She taps the diarch.

"Stop shouting!" Luna hisses. She presses harder with her hooves, chin on the bed. "Hngh!"

"I'm ta-"

"STOP!" Luna's hooves were pulling on her ears. "Stop it stop itstopitstopitstopit-" Luna screams as her alarm goes off. She starts pulling on her ears as if trying to rip them off as Celestia slams the off button.

"What's wrong?!" Celestia whispers, deeply concerned.

"I… don't know!" Luna's rear legs lose any energy as she collapses. Her ears have little lines of blood at the base. "I… I… why?" She looks up at her sister, hoping for an answer.

Celestia shakes her head as she pulls Luna's hooves away from her ears.. "I don't know," Celestia whispers. "Can I…" She indicates to her sister's head, asking permission to check it.

"Yes yes yes make it sto-" Another scream causes Celestia to jump back. "That bird!" Luna puts her hooves halfway up before Celestia pulls gem down.

Celestia initiates her mind reading spell. "Ok, I'm going in," she whispers. She casts the spell as both sisters fall asleep.

LUNA'S MIND

Celestia has not… seen something like this before. It is a rot eating at Luna's mind, rewriting her brain. Multiple neural pathways were… wrong. Of most importance, it has rewired her hearing for some reason, causing everything to be louder. Much louder.

It is a simple fix, however; a flick of her horn, and the rot dissipates. Going further into the brain, Celestia magically removes the last few spots of resistance, sweeping the entire brain. Satisfied, she smiles contently as she leaves her sister's mind.

REAL WORLD

"Are you better, Luna?" Celestia whispers. The diarch looks better, but looks are… deceiving.

"Huh? Speak up!" Luna snaps. Celestia takes a step back.

"Sorry…" Celestia says, hurt. She turns to walk to the door, looking down, before Luna grabs her. Magically, of course.

"Don't you hear them?! You have to talk louder!" Luna shouts. She starts grinning. "Where are they?!"

"Um… what 'them'?" Celestia notices her sister's shaking, causing her to be suspicious of… this.

"Them! What? Don't you hear the voices too?!" Luna has a crazed look in her eyes. She starts vibrating

"N-no…"

"Well, they want me to hurt you… to cut you up… to fuck you like I fucked those foals… and I'm not against it all…" Luna grins. She is now shaking as hard as Pinkie could.

"S-sister… bad joke…" Celestia feels scared. What was that thing?

"W-wait…" Luna gets a torn look in her eyes. "Did you get rid of it?" At this point, Luna's shaking slows a bit.

"The rot in there? Yes, i-"

"You idiot!" Luna shouts, taking Celestia by surprise. "Tantabus blocked the voices!" At this point, Luna was breaking the laws of physics.

Celestia gets an idea. "I'm going back in!" she shouts. Before Luna can protest, she is put to sleep as Celestia enters her mind once again.

LUNA'S MIND

Celestia enters the familiar void of transition. Only this time, this was Luna's thoughts. Luna is curled up, alone, in a dark… room isn't right, but that's what best describes the empty room. Celestia approaches her sister, who is rocking back and forth. "Luna?" She hurries forth to her sister's side. "What's going on?"

"Sister… I don't want to hurt you…" A tear travels down Luna's face as she slowly stops rocking. "You might want to leave…"

"Nonsense, I-"

She wants to hurt you! Celestia jumps, looking around. What?! A voice gas talked from the encroaching blackness. "Sister-"

Get her first, Luna! Luna rises slowly. "I think I will…" The smile on her face reminds Celestia of Nightmare Moon, so full of evil…

Celestia starts begging, hoping to get through to Luna. I can't go a thousand years more! "Sister, this isn't you!"

Liar! "Liar!" Luna and the voice shout it at the same time. "This is me, the real me!" Her wings fold out in a show of glory and dominance.

"I'm not lying to you! It is!" Celestia motions to the dark, about where the voice is coming from. "Why would I hurt you?!" Her eyes fill with tears. Does she think I'd do that…?

Power… "That… doesn't sound like my sister…" Luna slowly girls her wings, eyes conflicted.

"That's because I'm not like that! Fight it!" Celestia feels pained by the look on Luna's face and her admission that she though Celestia would do that, but she knows that this is necessary to stick through. "I believe in you!" Even if you don't believe in me…

Don't let her manipulate you! Luna looks up and shouts "You're the manipulator!" Closing her eyes, Luna fights back the darkness. The room slowly lights up, Luna losing the crazed look in her eyes. "Fuck you!"

"Yes! Go Luna!" Celestia cheers. Go Luna…

Damnit! Nightmare Moon shall be back agai- The darkness dissipates completely. "Sister… I did it!" Luna hugs her sister. "Celly…? What's wro-" Celestia brings them to the real world.

REAL WORLD

"I did something!" Luna jumps with joy, truly looking proud. Her horn starts glowing furiously, a dark ball of energy forming at the tip. Based off of her prancing, she doesn't seem tonotice.

"Luna! Your horn!" All thoughts of a conversation are paused as Celestia notices the dark orb. Luna stops jumping and sits still, suddenly fearful.

"Sister! This is like when I summoned the… humans!" she warns. "I… don't know what will happen!" Her eyes tear up. But I… did something… and now-

As she finishes her thought, the dark orb nearly explodes. Two stallions pop out of the resulting energy. Both crash with a thud, groaning.

"Cor blimey, what in the Queen's…" A look at Celestia causes the stallion to blink. "Damnit Ivan, I just wanted to bloody live! Why'd you hit the 'faster' button?!" He groans. "At least we're in heaven, eh? Didn't expect a horse…"

"Hey, no put kill switch next to live switch, da?" Ivan looks up. "Also, why are you horse?" The look on his face confirms Celestia's fears.

"Pony," she corrects. Not that it matters; they are ponies no matter what these ones think.

Both stallions look up, confused. "You can talk, eh?" He chuckles. "Well, can you-" Ivan slaps him. "Ah! Ok!"

Celestia sighs. "If you'll excuse me, I have a message to send…"
